My build, well admittedly it's sort of built around Power Struggle, but it isn't excessively built around it. Just Boil Over and Parental Guidance, which synergize with each other, and Lithe to Sprint off of the dropped pallet, but you can use it like regular Lithe as well, so not so bad.

I think it just needs a rework. The suggestion I have, is as long as you have an item in your hands with charges, you can use it. It consumes the item (it breaks when you hit them with it) and you get to run away. Can only do it once a match, and disables during EGC.
It gives value to Franklin's Demise and other item perks, like Overwhelming presence. Will make a killer think twice before going for a crucial hook. Also, simply holding an item would be a deterrent. Fairly good idea in my book.

Solo has been horrible since the update. I used to get good teammates at less congested hours and unwinnable games at peak hours before the patch, but now I just get horrible teammates no matter when I play. Haven't touched survivor in over a week. Not worth my time. One or two players are always so out of place to the point that the game isn't winnable, and I don't find any enjoyment in playing a game I can't win. DbD lost that allure 3000 hrs ago and my mindset is different. Maybe some players still have fun doing Rift challenges or whatnot, but I don't. I don't even click on a Rift challenge I can't complete passively by playing normally. Anyway...
Killer is a mixed bag. My queues are 5-10 minutes outside of peak hours. The games are a mixed bag in terms of difficulty, but I still win the vast majority of them. Didn't feel like anything changed last night.
So man, those soloq games I did yesterday I realized that my team mates are literally unable to run the killer, so decided to do it myself.
So this is actually kind of a fun way to play, give it a try sometime. Think of it as stealing kills from the Killer, rather than escaping the match. If my team mates can't keep the dude busy, and they can't keep from getting caught, then you do it. Take OTR, DS, Bond and Overcome and just do your best to keep the dude busy. I had a killer hit 4 three times last night after getting pulled off hook. I body blocked the first hit off of hook, which didn't trigger my Overcome or take my OTR, then he chased me down, hit me, OTR absorbed, Overcome triggered. Chased me down again and bond showed me I was running toward team mates so I veered away from them. Dude hit me again, I went down. Picked me up, DS'd off him, and then I took him on a real chase because I'm gonna go down for real this time. He finally downed me, and hooked me. Did it again off of hook. By the time I'd finished baiting this dude into chasing me for so long, only 1 Gen was left and 2 of the 3 managed to escape.
As far as I'm concerned, that's a job well done, I stole 2 of the dudes kills.

it worse because it is it only good if you want perks easyly why make us lvl to 100?
No one is making you level to 100
-
Because once your needs are met, your wants become your needs.
-
Except breaking pallets and walls
-
I dont know man, I got 1.5 million BP yesterday.
-
What they need is a good cosmetic so I would actually play them more.
-
Bump because it got buried immediately
-
You gotta play a little different as soloq, and that's no problem. You can go for either 2 things, escaping or just shooting for blood points. If you are dedicated to escaping, bring escape perks. Sole Survivor, Wake Up, OTR, Left Behind. If you wanna go for blood points, then play however you want, and get as far as you can. It isn't so bad if you set your expectations correctly. Think of it as a battle royal. You can't expect to win every match, but you can try to.
-
Exhausting them out of Overcome seems strong af also, so maybe that would be cool.
-
I dont believe DS should be a 5 second stun.
-
I play mostly soloq and I can't foe the life of me see all of these Nurses you all claim to see. Maybe I'm just lucky?
I think the answer is, is that I am actually hovering somewhere in the middle of MMR, and so play with all the other Survivors and Killer's in the middle. The ones that do okay, but aren't stomping everyone they come across.
-
Haddie is actually one of the survivors I have most stuff unlocked with, just by shear circumstance, so I kinda main her now because I can have whatever load out on her I want.

Why not have it be like this:
You start the game with 5 tokens. Every minute gone by while not downed or in chase takes away 1 token. Once you've been unhooked once, next time you are being carried by the killer you can spend 1 token to perform DS.
I know it would be pointless as a perk on the long run, but it would certainly address tunneling and be a way to ensure you get to play for a bit even if a tunneler killer finds you at the start of the game. The amount of tokens and the speed at which they consume while still standing could be adjusted so that it doesn't become a broken perk or way too weak.
Not a bad plan I guess, would certainly make DS more viable.

Survivors would just start healing off the hook and be invincible for 60 seconds. Ds only needed the deactivated once the gates are powered nerf. The stun time reduction killed the perk because you don't make it to anything in 2 seconds (1 second for the animation)
Survivors can get healed off the hook and be "invincible" for 80 secs with OTR. That's the point, OTR out classes DS in all respects, and so maybe DS should be more flexible since it has a shorter cool down/only stuns for 3 secs. I actually really like the idea of it requiring an item with charges and consuming those charges. A bit of a trade off, and fits with the theme.
-
I dont use it but I do play Killer and I think that DH is an endgame perk you use to get through the door. Killer will be gnashing at the bit to get you downed and if they know you have DH from using it earlier in the game it's no good, they will wait it out but if they've gone the entire game without seeing you use it they won't think you have it. THATS when you pull that little beauty out of your pocket and go screaming through the gates.
-
What Killer are you using? I find a good aura reading perk is always useful and if you are already running Scourge Hooks, then Floods of Rage is a good pick.
-
Or play Huntress or Trickster and throw stuff at them. Nemesis can also tentacle over things.

Hum...
What about when it's just a table or rock with no pallets? Same thing?
If there's no pallet, then it is just as if they were holding W. Keep going and catch up with them.

Remember that it gives you 35% of your missimg health. If you are already at 75%, it will give you 35% of the 25% you have left (8%) to fully heal, so you will never fully heal from this perk.
Yes, i think you can pair it with Yun-jin 's Self Preservation and Haddie's inner focus to activate them all at once but it's a really niche combo
Ah you're right. Hmmm, pretty lame. Hopefully it gets changed on release to be a percentage of total health
-
People want the same odds in pvp game which is exactly the opposite of what the devs want and are doing to the game.
I'm people and that isn't what I want. I want Bloodpoints and a good time. As long as I'm pulling ~20k BPs per match I'm happy. Surviving to 20k is what I want. I dont need to escape to have a good time.
-
It's for if you are caught getting healed and are at like 75%. It's like the old saying, You don't need to outrun the bear, just your buddy. If the killer hits them before you, you gain 35% health hopefully bringing you to full. Pair it up with Self Preservation and you also lose your scratch marks, and if it doesn't heal you to full then it also ends your blood pools and grunts. Not a bad combo, but niche.

I wish I could get my money back on anything and everything I've ever bought.

If I’m not in a chase and I see a gate at 99% complete I open it. I get 500 bloodpoints for it, the survivors get none, and it starts the clock on the endgame collapse that they wanted to avoid. Plus I think it scares some survivors into thinking I have Blood Warden which is fun. (I never do, but they don’t know that! 😄)
This is a good idea that I never contemplated.
-
No because all the most fun things are in the game right now.
-
Sounds like the escape rates are where they should be.
-
Last night we had a Claudette get to second hook state, and because of my Aftercare I saw everyone, including myself all working toward getting her, which means she ALSO saw we were all closing in to get her. Killer landed 2 hits during the attempt but we got her down with everyone still standing. Claudette gets off the hook, runs directly at killer, goes down and gets killed on hook. Thanks man, glad we put all that effort in.
-
Wow dude, I can't hook immediately and they might wiggle out so I gotta Slug and let them bleed out has got to be the most pathetic take I'll hear today.
-
Man the number of times I've hooked the same survivor 3 times just because I patrolled the same Gen 3 times is astounding. Like dude, seriously go do something else.
-
Well...
I started playing Nemesis recently because I really enjoy the interaction with the zombies. So sorry, but Ima keep practicing and playing him.
-
Agreed, DBD is in the best place it's ever been.
-
I quite thoroughly enjoy the soloq experience.
-
It's a baby step for a baby. Survivors don't "deserve" anything, and its the mindset that you deserve anything that is ruining this game.

Nah because usually the killer is close enough to see which locker you hop in
Well yea obviously you wanna do it outside of their sight.

Open handed is slept on.
With kindred or bond it gives insane info, with bond you basically have wallhacks, and are able to judge and see where everyone is, killer and survivor. Kindred is also great, but it requires someone on hook ,but still it provides great info.It also works with any aura related perks, and addons ( keys ,maps)
My personal fav build with it is bond, kindred, visionary, openhanded, it's a meme, but super chill to play, knowing where everyone is, and where each gen on map is located.
Man I'd swap that Visionary for Deja Vue. You get a Gen repair speed buff on the revealed ones, and can target gens to prevent a 3 Gen situation.
-
Because of the censors, it's a word that starts with F and ends with uck
-
What I did was design a build to be the first survivor on hook, so those who wanna DC because they were first on hook don't get a chance to be first on hook.
-
Change log
Removed Decisive Strike. Decisive Strike's cool down is shorter than OTRs and it would reliably run out before going down and I never really got it off. It might work if the Killer was legitimately going for a tunnel and chased you down Off hook, otherwise it was a wasted perk slot and putting Leader in helps my team more and allows me to get to 3 health states faster.
Replaced Situational Awareness with Bond because it is on all the time and doesn't require me to repair a Gen to get it to pop, causing me to drop OTR.
-
No
-
No I hope he's the worst killer. Completely unplayable and a total flop.
-
Not back pedaling, your entire premise rests upon me being some sweaty SWF squadmate, I'm a miserable ol' soloq.
People DC or kill themselves after first hook because they've already decided the game was over for them. I say, no brother. Fear not. I am here. I am the martyr who will carry the burden of being first on hook.

You literally tell people to provoke the killer into tunneling them. Come on man, at least be honest with your intentions.
Yes, if the killer is going to tunnel, let it be it me, who is prepared to fight back against it. It's an anti-tunneling build.
-
Trapper walking into your own trap. There isn't. Bigger "ooph" moment.
-
Man, look "bullying" the killer isn't something you can do anymore, this build is to punish tunneling. If everyone cries about nonstop tunneling, then the survivors have to build ways to punish it. If the answer for killers is to cry and camp hooks I don't know what to tell you, maybe daddy BHVR will give you another 10% increase to everything.
-
Hey, some people wanna bully the Killer, especially after their buffs and if they wanna do it, here's a way to do it.
Remember, tunneling and camping are only viable strategies because they work. Take that away from them and they won't do it anymore. Next I'll be trying out how to beat camping. Think it's gonna involve Mettle of Man.
-
I can think of quite a few reasons.
-
Kindred, to make use of Open Handed's aura reading.
Or Off the Record, because it's always a great go to.
-
Actually I think this was a buff to Saboteur. Now it's more likely you'll see Scourge Hooks, so its stronger to sabo Scourge Hooks.
