way to take what i said and take it to the extreme, Nothing I mentioned has anything to do with those backward countries killing people for there sexuality. This is why I hate these discussions and people take it to the extremes to prove some point that was never implied.

Is it wrong to judge people and kill them based on their sexuality? OF COURSE no one has even said that was the case

I just find it sad that LGBTQ characters' only personality traits tend to be " HEY I'M GAY BTW!!"

An Apex character is a perfect example of diversity, I fail to remember his name but it mentions his boyfriend in lore, and the dude is a tank...litrelly. It was so refreshing.

Maybe I didn't explain myself properly. I was just explaining why some people might make the fact that they're LGBT a big part of their lives. Because for a lot of them, it is. Not intentionally, of course, but thanks to bigots who make their entire existence about sexuality and ignore the rest of the person.

  • @Baal said:

when they have a mod called Gay_myres I doubt the talk about LGBTQ+ issues is nothing more than a political stunt to please us.

I'm so done with it, If we get a LGBTQ+ character I want it only hinted at in lore and not be the characters only defining character, Sexuality does not define someone and if that is your own quality then..well, I feel sad for you.

It is a part of who I am, not what I am if that makes sense.

When people face rejection, humiliation, and a potential death sentence for one of their traits, most go two ways: try to suppress it as much as possible, or make it as prominent as possible. So yes, you should feel sad, because it usually means those people had to deal with ######### their whole lives.

As well it sounds like they should have been.

My point is, what does that have to do with anyone here? Am I being that #########? Am I saying that the LGBT community disgusts me and that I wouldn't play the game if it included such characters? Did the person who provided the example of a black person being stereotyped when he was included in the other game?

I'm going to be frank: You sound as if, clearly, you are part of the LGBT community (this may or may not be obvious but I don't want to speak in an authoritative way about people I don't know). If so, that's perfectly fine. It also sounds like you've dealt with people who have made such things, if they are true, very unpleasant for you. If so I'm legitimately sorry to hear that. I don't approve of such things, regardless of how my comments in this thread have apparently been misconstrued.

What I don't understand is, what has been said in this thread that makes you feel that you and / or your preferences, should they be what they seem, are under attack? From what I can tell the vast majority of this thread, including myself, AGREES with you, and the few people who have voiced any concern whatsoever have been met with what strikes me as a lot less tolerance than you want to be shown to yourself. Why?

Because I see the same patterns. These people make the same arguments, use the same talking points, post the same comments. So when you come here with a dog whistle like "identity politics" (which, as I said, is only ever used to prevent people from being treated the same as everyone else), I extrapolate from my years of dealing with these people and conclude that you're one of them.

If you're really not one of them, then I have two things to ask of you:

First, put yourself in our shoes for two seconds. Nobody says anything about heterosexual lore, for years. In fact, hardly anyone comments on the lore to begin with. No complaints about how sexuality "doesn't belong" in DbD, no complaints about having sexuality "shoved down our throats", nothing.

When the devs imply there will be non-heterosexual lore at some point in the future, suddenly everyone cares about the lore, the quality of the devs' writing, they complain about "identity politics" (see above), "political agendas" (another meaningless term), and so on.

The only difference is the lore (that they claim not to read nor care about) might include explicit references to non-heterosexuality. Are we supposed to conclude that their problem isn't LGBT characters?

In science, when you change one variable and your system doesn't change, you can say your system is independent of that variable. However, if you change one variable and the system changes completely, and this happens repeatedly, then you conclude that your system changed because you changed that variable. You don't think "Well, maybe the system isn't reacting to this change, maybe it's this other variable that stayed the same". That's unreasonable.

I know you're probably gonna want to say I'm calling everyone a bigot, but that's not the case. I'm saying that it definitely comes across as such when you (non-specific "you") only complain when it's about LGBT characters/lore.

Second, I want you to look at how the terms "identity politics", "political agenda", "personal agenda", and so on are used. Really look at the context, which things are being complained about under those terms and which are curiously left out. Then tell me if you don't see a certain pattern. Because I sure do, as does everyone else.

Aside from the person who briefly appeared and blatantly denied an interest in having LGBT people in the game, who else is calling for their exclusion? Who are the people that are persecuting you? Who here has said "No, I absolutely would quit playing this game if there were gay people in it"?

And yes, as long as someone takes a shaming or otherwise aggressive stance about something I may happen to otherwise agree with, there will always be a "but". I can agree with the end result of what you want without agreeing with the way that you're going about it.

You haven't been here long enough to know about this, but this isn't the first LGBT thread. A lot of ######### acting exactly like you described (or worse) have been banned, and they often used the same talking points before taking off their masks and saying what they really thought.

  • @miketheratguy said:

The term "identity politics" means to use what makes oneself unique - be it race, sexuality, whatever - to shame others into forced "tolerance". These things can happen organically, or they can happen because people demand them and call people who don't agree bigots. Or homophobes. Or cis, white, heterosexual men.

I've said about 30 times in this thread that I'm completely open to any character of any sexuality or ethnicity being in this game. I've also pointed out that what I disagree with is the aggressive insistence that if it doesn't happen, it's somehow a form of persecution. That, again, is playing identity politics.

I've also noticed that this is now the second time my own color, sexuality or personal philosophies have been insulted despite the fact that I've done no such thing to anyone else here for theirs. Some of you are a little too defensive about this.

    Or cis, white, heterosexual men.

That's not an insult. 3/4 of those things can be applied to me. It's no more offensive than calling me bisexual. It's accurate. Just for the record, though, I didn't call you any of those things, I just commented that nobody cries "IDENTITY POLITICS" when it comes to characters with those traits.

You can claim that "identity politics" has a specific meaning, but it only ever seems to be used as an excuse against inclusion; i.e.: to be divisive. Who's more divisive? The people asking for everyone to be included, or the people asking for some to be excluded on purpose?

I've said about 30 times in this thread that I'm completely open to any character of any sexuality or ethnicity being in this game.

I've heard that one before, usually followed by a "but" and an excuse for why LGBT characters shouldn't be included.

I've also pointed out that what I disagree with is the aggressive insistence that if it doesn't happen, it's somehow a form of persecution.

The devs said they were purposefully excluding LGBT lore. Are you saying they were lying?

I've also noticed that this is now the second time my own color, sexuality or personal philosophies have been insulted despite the fact that I've done no such thing to anyone else here for theirs.

I didn't know (nor do I care) about any of those characteristics. For me, you're a username+avatar, and I hardly look at the former. You have no characteristics except those you convey through your actions (writing).

That strikes me as confirmation bias. I doubt you were here monitoring the forums every day since the game's release, looking for people to be upset about heterosexual relationships.

And yes, if the roles were reversed, you'd see the exact same thing. If someone made a game that appeared to cater to LGBT fans and a group of people started complaining that they weren't adequately represented, that would also be playing identity politics. I have the feeling you would also be far less accepting of the request as you demand other people be of yours.

That strikes me as confirmation bias. I doubt you were here monitoring the forums every day since the game's release, looking for people to be upset about heterosexual relationships.

I have the highest post count on the forum. Make of that what you will.

And yes, if the roles were reversed, you'd see the exact same thing.

It's OK to speculate, but at least admit it is speculation. Or do you have some real examples of what you claim?

  • @miketheratguy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2160782#Comment_2160782

Yes and no. He's throwing in his two cents that, while perhaps offensive to someone in support of the LGBT issue at hand, isn't directly attacking it. The full context of his post isn't "LGBT representation has no place in this game", it's "in my history whenever someone asked for representation and the developers agreed, they wound up making the situation worse". It's not unreasonable to say that characters shouldn't have any sexual preferences given because then it's an even playing field anyway. Any character can be gay, straight, trans, whatever.

My point is that you took it as an attack and I don't think it was meant as one. He was making a point, that's all.

Oddly enough, despite feeling that the devs' writing is bad and having had relationships in lore since the Nurse's release, they're only speaking up now, when it's LGBT people asking for representation. I took that into account when considering the whole context of their comment.

  • @miketheratguy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2160757#Comment_2160757

I was called a homophobe for talking about identity politics an hour or so back, you're probably fine now.

If you were called a homophobe, it's because you equated being LGBT with "identity politics", a term that, oddly enough, only seems to to apply to anything other than cis, white, heterosexual men. Those are never political.

  • That depends on your settings. I have it set to 30 replies per page, for example, so this thread is on page 9 for me.

  • @miketheratguy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2160766#Comment_2160766

Context is the key here. He's saying that not applying sexual preferences to the characters would make things less complicated because then each one could be whatever anyone wanted them to be. I won't speak for him but I doubt he literally meant "gay lore is inherently bad and I would rather have no lore at all than be forced to suffer it".

Yes, they're saying that, but they're saying that in opposition to users asking for LGBT representation. That's the context of this thread, after all.

I still think the devs should just retcon their terrible writing and not mention any of that stuff at all, that way you can imagine them to be anything you want them to be. But if people keep begging inept writing to throw you a bone for representation you're gonna get a token....

And I've seen it before.....and it was laughable. IE long long time ago in League of Legends. We had the discussion....wait...Runaterra doesn't have anybody that looks "Black" people got on forums, begging, waving their pre-social justice pitchforks at Riot. Meanwhile normal people are like "Nah....this ain't it chief....this isn't gonna end how you think it is, why are you ignoring Ryze just because he's purple? Don't force it!"

    THEN BLAM! We get Lucian.....

He's black....he's got cornrows....a zig zag fade.....and the original concept had him holding his guns sideways....The threads and posts about it were off the ######### wall. "Yo ######### why's he slinging the 9 as his main weapon?" "yo ######### cornrows and a zig zag fade?" "Yo #########, do you think all black people hold guns sideways like this is the hood?" It was bonkers.

I'm just giving a heads up warning now, more pressure you put on it...higher chance its gonna come out....and you're not gonna be happy with the token. I'm tellin ya, I've seen it before, I'm probably gonna see it again. It always ends the same. Only difference is BHVR has the leeway to not have to deal with skin color but instead sex.....which if they stayed true to their original design would be anything the audience wanted it to be.....which is the best place to be.

I still think the devs should just retcon their terrible writing and not mention any of that stuff at all, that way you can imagine them to be anything you want them to be.

Nuke the lore because it's better than having LGBT characters? Really?

Still trying to figure out, how people draw the conclusion that he's

    A. Homophobic

    B. Straight (we only know of 1 ex that mother ######### could have a huge list from multiple sexes)

    C. Russian

Or any other random made up ######### I see people on these forums throwing out randomly.

Its literally 1 line out of an entire chapter of a book, which should say enough.....it doesn't matter. His sexuality isn't what makes up his character, its not what defines you. He was rich....did a lot of hood #########, got into a lot of fights, and was pretty much abandoned by most of the people in his life including his so called "friends" <--- thats the lore....thats what matters. Not where he sticks his diddle or if he even has one, not his race, not his country of origin either. Its a horror game ffs not a dating simulator. If they wanted 1 dimensional characters they could have just skipped the lore entirely and given people a character creator with a bunch of random preset faces.

    1. Already said I had no idea where the homophobic bit came from.
    2. The fact that the devs said they had only added relationships to heterosexual characters.
    3. Again, no idea where that came from.

Its literally 1 line out of an entire chapter of a book, which should say enough.....it doesn't matter.

None of that garbage is true....what the heck....the whole thing is listed in the game and we even had an entire expansion devoted to canon lore. The dude grew up in Manchester england with rich parents spending their credit card money, getting into fights, and his only social circles were his entourage of friends getting themselves into criminal trouble as well aka people looking to be paid back and him and his friends getting beat up over it.

I've heard people on this forum claim that he's russian....where the hell even.....

I'd rather have a well thought character be LGBT than a rushed one just to be the token LGBT character.

They will most likely be seen as "the token LGBT character" no matter what. People who aren't exactly well-intentioned will certainly push that narrative. I'm guessing their "argument" will be that there's only one LGBT character, so obviously they're just a token character. And if there's more than one, well, that's just "shoving propaganda* down our throats".

*Substitute for "wokeness", "politics", "political agenda", "cultural Marxism", and whatever other meaningless buzzword they use to mean "people who aren't like me".

  • @Pulsar said:

    Again, that is their view.

Just because you disagree doesn't mean you need to be uncivil.

It is alright to disagree about things and it certainly doesn't mean whomever disagrees is anti-LGTBQ, it simply means they do not share your opinion on this particular issue and that is alright.

I didn't call anyone anti-LGBT, I pointed out the difference in attitudes. One side wants to be treated like the other is already being treated, the other side thinks what the former wants doesn't matter. They're dismissing everything a priori. How are you supposed to have a good-faith discussion with someone who doesn't care about what you have to say?

  • @Pulsar said:

I normally stay out of these discussions, because they quickly turn nasty.

However, I can see that both sides of the argument have good points. Just try to keep it civil and don't attack people for not sharing your views.

Hard to keep it civil when one side has people saying "What you want doesn't matter, only what I want matters".

  • @miketheratguy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2160103#Comment_2160103

Asking for LBQT "representation" is asking to be singled out for one's identity. It's not necessary.

It's no different than a Muslim saying "there should be a positive role model Muslim survivor".

It's no different than saying "there should be a persecuted Mexican border crosser".

It's identity politics. It's not being satisfied with what's on offer unless something is included that caters to one's own specific beliefs, agendas, or personal politics. I reiterate, there's enough of that in this world and most people are sick of it. I couldn't care less if any of the characters in the game are gay, bi, trans, black, brown, white, yellow, Liberal, Conservative, Christian or Atheist. I DON'T CARE. It doesn't effect the game, nor should it. These types of considerations are usually only requested by people who can't be happy unless they force others to include viewpoints that they (the people making the request) happen to align with. It's annoying.

You do realize the irony of demanding that other people's "personal agenda" be excluded because your "personal agenda" is against their inclusion, right?

  • @miketheratguy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2160062#Comment_2160062

He doesn't. In the films (the original ones, the remakes don't count) it's made clear that he's severely mentally impaired and doesn't understand most things. In the original movie there's a scene of him shown panicking not understanding why random hippies are even showing up at his home. There's nothing deliberately "trans" about Bubba any more than the Three Stooges dressing in drag made them trans.

Everything has to mean something nowadays. Everything has to have a label. Everyone has to "stand" for something or be espousing some kind of personal beliefs. This is a game where killers kill survivors. The lore is great but if it starts going "woke" and politically correct for the sake of making everybody happy it's going to have the opposite effect.

If I, as a white male, can play as Meg in this game and enjoy myself, or play as Franklin or CJ in Grand Theft Auto and enjoy myself, it says to me that I don't need a character to represent ME and whatever I may happen to believe in in order to enjoy the game. That's how it should be. It's a video game.

Everything has to mean something nowadays.

Most forms of art have some meaning behind them. The greats are usually great precisely because they have deeper meaning than what's on the surface.

Everyone has to "stand" for something or be espousing some kind of personal beliefs.

Nobody "has" to do anything, but it's great that people can do that. It's much better than the alternative, IMO.

That's fine and all, but other people play this game as well.

  • @miketheratguy said:

No character should be defined by their sexual orientation. Peoples' personal agendas invade enough of daily life, I like to play video games to get away from them. The Blight may be gay. The Plague may be trans. The Demogorgon may be heavily into amputee porn. I don't care. I don't want to know. It isn't necessary.

I don't want to see a LBQT killer any more than I want to see a BLM killer, a Trump supporter killer, a pro-life killer, a pro-choice killer, a sanctuary city killer, a white supremacist killer, etc etc etc etc etc. I don't want nor need to have divisive modern-day identity politics applied to the characters in my games for the sake of "inclusion" and arbitrary forced "diversity". All I care about is how they were killed and what made the Entity choose them.

No character should be defined by their sexual orientation.

    Who asked for that?

Peoples' personal agendas invade enough of daily life, I like to play video games to get away from them.

Playing an online multiplayer game with strangers is not the way to get away from people. Also, the "personal agenda" of "treat me the same way you treat them" shouldn't cause you any discomfort, IMO.

    I don't want to know.

Then don't read the lore. It doesn't matter, right?

I don't want nor need to have divisive modern-day identity politics applied to the characters in my games for the sake of "inclusion" and arbitrary forced "diversity".

People being LGBT is not "divisive modern-day identity politics", it's just people being themselves. Fun fact: transgenderism dates back to the beginning of human civilization. If anything's not "modern-day", it's trans people.

All I care about is how they were killed and what made the Entity choose them.

But why? That's not relevant to gameplay. And if that should be included, despite not being relevant, why can't the devs include other things that other people care about? Why should you get special treatment?

  • @Dickslinger said:

But this isn't a game where that matters. If you think this is a horror game, then you might not understand this, but:

1.) The devs don't keep their promises. Most people who play this game know this.

2.) This game is not horror. It has horror characters in it, but it's not really horror, and even Cote has said this.

3.) Sexual orientation isn't important. It has no effect on your gameplay whatsoever.

But this isn't a game where that matters.

None of the lore "matters", yet people only seem to complain about it when it's LGBT people asking for equal treatment. Curious.

No, because then he'll know you can get your hands on steroids, so he'll come back for more.

  • Demogorgon. All the others look like people, but Demogorgon is a genuine monster.

  • Can you define what constitutes a "horrible mechanic"? Because saying what amounts to "don't do things I don't like" doesn't help the designers understand what you actually want/like.

  • I've only used DH a few times, but there's a very simple reason why survivors look behind themselves when they use DH: they need to time it to the killer's swing if they want to dodge an attack.

  • Assuming you can't both be the same killer, Cannibal and Hillbilly. There's no way any other killers can stand up to 8 survivors at the same time without insta-downs.

This literally has nothing to do with my post. You're also insinuating I'm saying something I'm not. Take your strawman and wave it in someone else's face, kiddo.

I don't care about the lore, and that's my entire point. The lore is actual garbage.

Why anyone puts so much personal investment into a shoddily written lore is beyond me.

I'm not insinuating anything, I'm asking you a question. You can substitute the lore for your headcanon/fan fiction, but that doesn't make the actual lore go away. Explicitly heterosexual lore is still there, plain as day. So why is explicitly heterosexual lore not deserving of all these complaints, but explicitly LGBT lore is?

  • @JimbusCrimbus said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1988196#Comment_1988196

You're aware they have this stuff planned VERY FAR in advance, right?

Besides, it doesn't matter what the lore says of any character. MY David is straight. MY Claudette is asexual. MY Felix is gay. I really don't see the issue in having your own personal take. I don't see why it needs to be half-assedly written into some mediocre (and that's exactly what DBD's lore is) backstory for validation. I say this as a bisexual man with a male partner.

Name one reason why explicitly heterosexual lore is fine, but explicitly LGBT lore is not, that doesn't depend on homophobia being a thing.

Yeah, they definitely have everything done for every chapter over a year in advance. It does take a year to write 2 paragraphs of lore, definitely. That's realistic.

It'd make sense for the lore to be written in advance of the character's assets and whatnot. Why delay the lore, especially when the writing team doesn't work on assets?

  • I honestly don't get how that was confusing. One person complained about sexual orientation, I pointed out that it's been here since the Nurse was released.

I'm just confused about how the Nurse was related to the whole thing.

Because if sexual orientation is something to be avoided in lore due to being unrelated to gameplay, then the Nurse should've been complained about as soon as she was released and we could've avoided this whole thing. Now it's too little too late.

    • The person I replied to was complaining about sexual orientations not being relevant for gameplay.

Yes, the Dev's didn't say anything to do with an LGBTQ+ chapter.

But after the hype created by fans, couldn't they have just added a short bit into the lore anyway? It genuinely wouldn't have taken much effort on thier part.

If game development was predicated on what the fans imagine things to be, it'd be the end of gaming as we know it.

The character is not LGBT. That's all. What the fans made up is not relevant; it's borderline fan fiction.

Wait, I haven't read Nurse's archive lore yet. What happened there?

Who mentioned the archive? I'm talking about the Nurse's original lore, the one she launched with. It mentions her husband and her desire for a big family. None of that has to do with gameplay, obviously, but nobody spoke up back then.

  • @SMitchell8 said:

What's sexuality got to to do with fixing generators and escaping a killer .....

Dunno, but the devs already started down that path with the Nurse, so we're kinda stuck with it now. 🤷‍♂️

It's too bad you didn't speak up back then, could've prevented this whole thing.

Not at all my intention, sorry if it came across like that... my main point was that I kind of like it ambiguous. That way in my head all the hot characters can gay/bi and the straight people get Jeff.

I guess so, and I appreciate the need for representation in video games. It would also be a great addition just to trigger the homophobes...

Too late for ambiguous. However, the fact that you didn't know that tells me you don't read the lore to begin with. So, no harm done (not that there was any to begin with).

Nah im just kidding dont worry <3 Theyre too pretty to remove

You'd be surprised the lengths some people will go to to argue against LGBT inclusion (or women, non-white people, and so on). You wouldn't be the first one to say they'd rather have the devs remove large portions of the game rather than just treating everyone equally.

  • You'd rather the devs remove characters from the game than have them treat LGBT lore the same way they treat non-LGBT lore?

  • @_NIGHTMARE_ said:

Yeah, I'm disappointed that there still isn't a confirmed LGBTQ+ character in DbD. Especially after the hype around the all kill chapter speculations.

The fault lies solely with the fanbase. The devs said nothing.

having heterosexual relationships does not make one straight.

The devs said they'd only confirmed the orientations of heterosexual characters. Regardless, what you're saying doesn't invalidate anyone's request for explicitly LGBT relationships.

  • A 2-killer mode wouldn't hurt, but my main gripe is that most survivors seem to be out to troll the killer.

Indeed stealth is a valid playstile, sadly... However, when i finally found you and catch you, for the love of god, dont dare to ask yourself: why is he camping me??!? :/

And your football example is really far from my examples. Those two are different things.

What would make sense with your example was, for example, giving chase in f13. You have one life, and if you lose the chase, you die. Now thats a goal.

But in dbd, if i catch you, you only lose 1 of 3 lifes (4 if you use ds) so im asking you to give me a... 33% of a goal? If that makes sense. You dont lose anything.

Of course i like winning in CoD!, but are we winning hiding behind a box and head-glitching, or are we playing CoD?

Of course both ways are valid, but one has a lot more of merit than the other one, dont you think?

I think the fact that you compare a valid playstyle with a literal glitch tells me everything I need to know. I won't waste my time any more.

Its not a way that gets them killed, its playing DBD. And no, i dont need to kill you, but at least give me 1 chase to have my bbq stack.

Some people play like they were going to die irl, like jesus.

Theres a good comment up there, from @IWasLeft2Die e. Theres literally nothing to say about it. Everything seems good, and the most important part: he seems like he plays the game.

Watching 500 hours of otzdarva and playing 20h doesnt make me any good.

Its not a way that gets them killed, its playing DBD.

"Playing DbD" is not just playing how you want. Stealth is a valid playstyle, whether you like it or not.

And no, i dont need to kill you, but at least give me 1 chase to have my bbq stack.

Why in Entity's name would I do that? That's like if you're playing football and ask the other team to let you score a goal.

I am not your friend, I am not your ally, I am not your teammate. I am your opponent. We are on opposite sides in the game.

Some people play like they were going to die irl, like jesus.

No, they play like they want to escape. You don't like that they do? That's fine. I don't like it when killers camp either. When they do camp, however, what I do is stay on gens. I adapt my playstyle to suit the situation. You should do the same, if you're having trouble with stealthy survivors.

Because is not fair. Look, heres an example of what i mean.

Imagine a bubba camping that always does at least 2k. He will black pip or even pip sometimes. Do you think is fair?

Imagine a survivor that only repair and escapes (8k repairs 5k escape). He will most likely pip. Do you think is fair?

Rank means nothing, but here i explained it with pips.

And once again, escaping as survivor isnt always a win. Looping and distracting the killer should be more considered, not pressing a button in a gen.

Everytime a dlc releases, do you think is fair when someone wants to do the survivor expert, he calls his friends, and then they all dc so he can get hatch via shack offering? Its a weird and extreme example, but this happens. And they let you to do it. And for killer you have to sell your soul.

    Because is not fair.

To summarize, it's not fair if survivors play stealthily because:

    • They escape
    • It's boring for the killer

And therefore survivors should play in a way that gets them killed.

But it is fair for the killer to play for kills even though:

    • They win more easily
    • It's boring for the survivors

And therefore killers should continue playing for kills.

There's a very clear double standard here that I've been trying to point out for several comments now. If you still don't get it, you'll have to wait for someone else to explain it, because I've no idea how else to do it.

I dont know how to reply to sentences, so excuse me about that.

First point, i dont know what way the survivors dont find fun going agaisnt me. Is that im a bubba main, and they dont know how to counter? My bad, i will start playing trapper so they can laugh at me because i only did 2 hooks the entire match.

Second point, i value more how good is the survivor rather than he escaped or not. If the survivor was good, i might give him hatch. Not for mercy, just as a "well played, you looped me a bit huh".

It really annoys me when someone escapes and then says to me gg. I sometimes dont even know who he is, because i didnt see the lobby at the beginning. Sometimes they do 3 gens and then i say: WOW, THERE WAS A LAURIE IN THE MATCH!! when i already did some chases with the rest.

Being good in this game is not escaping, is how long can you entertain the killer, so your teammates can work on gens. But when its your turn, its your turn. Everyone should play with the killer.

About the third point, you just got me with the "no one uses distortion". I mean... SOURCEEEEEEEEEES? You said it too confident lol.

Its like saying no one uses premonition because its a direct downgrade from spine chill, and its a noob perk. Should see my games lol.

If you don't want to play Trapper because you'll lose, why do you want survivors to stop playing stealthily, even though they win?

About the third point, you just got me with the "no one uses distortion". I mean... SOURCEEEEEEEEEES? You said it too confident lol.

I also put an asterisk saying I was speaking in hyperbole (meaning I was exaggerating) because I already expected you to take it as "Literally nobody who plays DbD has ever used nor will never use Distortion", even though it's very common to use "nobody" as hyperbole.

How does the killer offer poor gameplay to the survivor? Im guessing you re talking about camping. Guess whats the counter to it? You wouldnt believe me.

About the third point, i do think the survivors that died yes, they gave better gameplay than the noob claudette hiding all match. Those were nice survivors because they wanted to play DBD. But hey, if you like hiding and giving poor gameplay, try CoD Ghosts?

And last point, "nobody uses distortion"... coming to someone who farmed 18k posts... yeah, 100% trustable why not. You would be impressed with the builds my TEAMMATES always have (premonition with spine chill, for example). Also fun thing you mentioned iron will, whats the point of bringing it if you re hiding like a rat, and havent been hit in the whole match? Now thats a perk slot wasted, should have used small game! x.x

And about the second point, my bad, forgot to put a pic with leonard saying sarcasm ;(

How does the killer offer poor gameplay to the survivor? Im guessing you re talking about camping. Guess whats the counter to it? You wouldnt believe me.

If you complain about survivors playing in a way you don't find fun, it's only fair that you should also not play in a way survivors don't find fun. Or is "fun" strictly a one-way argument?

About the third point, i do think the survivors that died yes, they gave better gameplay than the noob claudette hiding all match. Those were nice survivors because they wanted to play DBD. But hey, if you like hiding and giving poor gameplay, try CoD Ghosts?

Results speak for themselves. One player escaped, the other three did not. If your goal is to be competitive, then winning takes precedence over entertaining your opponent(s).

And last point, "nobody uses distortion"... coming to someone who farmed 18k posts... yeah, 100% trustable why not.

I didn't realize trustworthiness was inversely proportional to post count, my bad. How many comments would be acceptable? Because I can always close this account and open a new one. Or someone else with a lower post count could agree with me. Would the information be trustworthy then?

Also fun thing you mentioned iron will, whats the point of bringing it if you re hiding like a rat, and havent been hit in the whole match?

Because some killers are better at finding survivors than survivors are at hiding. Nobody's perfect.
