Constant apologies, im sick of it. Should have seen it coming when the trailer obscures the skins so much, it's because there's barely any of them and they suck.
Barely going to be any incentive to play over the next few months -

I think with Skull Merchant having an outfit in both this and the Overgrowth Rift they're trying to encourage people to play as her. They could just improve her but, hey, this is easier.
There's also going to be torsos for Dwight, Vee, and Zarina, as well as weapons for Trickster, Krasue, and Oni. We'll see how those all look 👀
They shouldn't do that, i don't think anyone will be pleased when they try a new outfit for her and realise how unusable she is. I don't try or buy her new outfits because i know this already. I think it's wasteful of BHVR and its their fault she's this bad to begin with. Idk, until they can make her gameplay tolerable they shouldn't give her any cosmetics to be honest.
I wish sable and orela got a shirt but hopefully next year. -

Hey hey hey my main is getting a Halloween costume please don't rain on my parade
I'm sorry but skull merchant skins are a cruel joke and Felix's outfit feels a bit out of nowhere for me
-
Springtrap. He has the best map mobility and his axe can be quite strong anti-loop, his potential is very high.
Chucky would be 2nd because he has a strong chase which stealth killers usually lack. -
They never were
-
I mean we did get quality of life to be fair. Abandon option, bulk bloodpoint spending, mouse and keyboard on console. But they haven't delivered on "bug fixes for long standing issues" and the game has got worse on this front.
And yeah, about the cosmetics, idk whats going on, they are the worst they've ever been. Choosing some of the most unpopular characters for the halloween event rewards and a plain awful rift. -
I'm sorry but the general consensus is that Myers is weaker than before, and he will be buffed in the next patch.
The problem you are having with your teammates being stalked isn't more of an issue with new myers, in fact they addressed it in a few ways. All survivors get a sound queue when he has reached 50% stalk progress. This also decays back to 50% if he doesn't continue stalking within 12 seconds. Survivors get another sound queue when he has reached 100% progress, at this point you can't go back to stalker mode, this means he will remain with a 24m terror radius until he activates it, when he does he has an activation cooldown + 40m terror radius. Slaughtering Strike atm is also just straight up weaker than an exposed effect. -
yeah, i agree. I also would like to see her add-ons revamped.
-
Yeah this is easily the worst rift. I do not really like anything in it. I was hoping maybe a sable recolour at least but nope… recolours for nobody!

just for confirmation, is bug fix 2 is still scheduled for other platforms this week?
It's tomorrow
-
I think in general it's not okay that BHVR updated so many maps at once with no notice and so subtly putting it as a "quality of life" update too. I know they updated a lot of maps overtime for killer but they only did that one at a time
-
Considering they added the windup to evil incarnate, i would support this. Perhaps they should just make him have a 0m TR in tier 2 but not undetectable, this way he still has a red stain and can be aura read.
-
He isn't "so bad". He's above average. Just practise.
-
Last we heard they decided 2% was viable. They got trashed on reddit for that and all they had to say was "thank you for the feedback"
Hopefully at some point she gets an update like knight has -
You do not want Pain Res to be nerfed. If you don't want to be tunnelled Pain Res is how killers can keep up.
-
Sable hasn't had an original outfit the entire year. Which is ridiculous because she's the most played survivor by a landslide, yet they've given multiple outfits to very unpopular characters like haddie and gabriel and several for renato and thalita.
Kinda feel like they been looking on twitter too much. It does not make sense to release outfits for underplayed characters at the expense of your more popular ones. It didn't even change their popularity, which proves that popularity isn't dictated by quantity of cosmetics.
With all that said i hope sable gets more outfits next year. -
Us vs them posts like this should be against the rules

I think it is a rather nice power set conceptually speaking.
A strong chase power unlocked by infecting survivors is a nice idea, shame they implemented it in such an oppresive state.
Idk if a projectile is really the best way to go about unlocking an oppressive chase power. As it is right now it simply has no counterplay, so it's incredibly punishing. Idk how you would ever tone that down to be fair.
Plague and Oni are killers that have unlockable strong chase powers done right. All you have to do against oni is not get m1'd, plague everybody knows not to cleanse atp. -
Didn't know about the Bluesky one thank you 🙂

The autoaim on the spit really isn't an issue as the spit itself applies Leech I and nothing more, hitting players with the spit while they are leeched doesn't do anything afterwards. The spit only serves to enable the use of the head form since the leeched effect is entirely passive. Removing the autoaim just makes things uncecessirely harder for the Krasue and it's the head form that's the actual problem, not the human one.
No it's both. What is the actual point of the whole projectile if it's so easy and has no counterplay?

I played yesterday and only encountered the usual: Huntress, Ghoul, Animatronic, even a Dracula, but not a single Krasue. Why?
I played her and she is fun, he has a moderately complex but not difficult to understand mechanic, and is pretty in the upper tier.
Are people too put off by her visceral appearance, or am I completely misjudging how good or bad she is?
Hopefully people have realised from the DCs or decided themselves she's grossly overpowered and isn't fun for anyone. I did.
-
Yeah, and i thought i was getting good with it too. Sadly, handholding is the only way to describe it. I cannot play Krasue anymore, it makes me worse at every other killer and generally turns my brain into mush.
-
@killer_hugs said:
idk i have a 45% escape rate with OTR and a 56% escape rate with sprint burst. people act like the 80 seconds of endurance is a big deal and it only is so if you can bait the killer into a chase which takes 2 brain cells on their part to avoid.
OTR was fine but survivors going out of their way to use the endurance to body block for other teammates was unsavoury. It's something that was seen frequently during otz's all perk streak. It goes against being "Off The Record" if it emboldens survivors to do plays that are otherwise risky. So it could be better designed in that area but the problem has appeared of the need for anti-tunnel that has been historically provided through such perks
-
Old Kaneki? What?
In any case just cuz its worse now doesn't mean before was good or better. All these things shouldn't exist but Krasue is definitely the most overpowered killer.
We need more killers like Springtrap who have the tools to be viable but survivors still have a chance to dodge them in a chase. -
I didnt see these images but this is the 3rd time this has happened…
-
Completely agree. Survivor is incredibly tilting right now, and killer is conflicting, Krasue is very rewarding but i feel like my brain is turning into mush when i play her, every other killer is much harder though. It really does feel like the devs are just not listening and its quite sad.

@SpringMyTrap said:
losing collision doesnt matter here if you're just running behind the chased guy, shielding them from the hit, forcing the killer to walk through you instead of hitting right away.
Removing collision is only helpful to stop basekit BT abuse where killer is close enough to walk through you.
any lasting "protection" like that is fundamentally flawed and going to be weaponized.
They did a good change by removing the endurance, but they need to give a better defensive effect rather than just removing the scratchmarks (though it is also pretty great, people will appreciate it once they calm down)
I think the change OTR really needs is to be "personal" babysitter
- After being unhooked you receive elusive status effect for 80 seconds and 10% haste for 30 seconds.
Devs need to move away from weaponizeable anti tunnel and focus on making anti tunnel perks that make it way harder to catch / hit the survivor in the first place.
Fair enough. It feels like people won't accept non endurance OTR atp but hopefully im wrong.
I do quite like the new OTR personally -
Still. Not. Fixed!!
-
Its so frustrating how BHVR kill switched this system, re-enabled it without notice and it's not even fixed.
-
Hag. I really don't like the trap playstyle and she's the most forced into it by being 4.4m/s.

The big question is that if they made it permanent but took away the BP rewards, making it truly casual (since you don't need perks or items to play it so BP isn't needed for it) how many would still play?
Players are always drawn to the big BP incentives so of course 2v8 has a lot of players.
This.
It would be insightful if BHVR could test but i fear it will just make the mode unplayable -
I agree with one thing, they shouldn't have left it this long.
But old myers was unhealthy design. He had no chase potential so he excelled at appearing with a <8m TR and instadowning you with no warning. He lacked interaction overall, playing against myers wasn't fun after the tweaks they did last year. -

brother I’m so sorry but if you watch the hens video on the new pallets you will see they made them considerably weaker and shrunk a few maps at least speak facts if you’re gonna make a post maybes try mindgame the filler instead of just breaking it and giving them free distance
I don't need to watch a video, i played the game myself. They are too many strong pallets in Macmillan.
-
@dramafinesseXD said:
bro idk what you’re smoking but a lot of them are 50 pallets lmao easily outplayable by m1 a lot of maps just have the Greenville fazbear type pallets more recourses but not dead zones
No they are not. They made fillers much stronger.
-
Make him like spirit? Hell no. Have you seen the Krasue?
Myers having a dash isn't that different from how he's had an extended lunge all these years. "Bring back exposed" is just a nerf, which you can apply yourself with an add-on… -
Bhvr's ######### design has to stop
-
I saw this as springtrap and i crashed out. 2 vaults and 2 windows
edit : i mean pallets -

This a new double pallet set up.
A set up that should not exist in the first place because it would normally be very safe vs most killers.
Except Krasue.
Somehow she doesn't care.
I can't make distance there after hit, she would immediately catch up.
I can't vault because she reacts and goes around.
I can't fake vault because she is fast enough and has long enough reach to hit me before I make it.
That one single whiff she had was because the Krasue player DOESNT UNDERSTAND HER POWER RANGE or that it can HUG THE COLLISIONS. If she fired it earlier, I would've been hit.
Nothing I could do in that loop mattered. All my agency was to hold W and die elsewhere or let her kill me there.
This is aggressively unfun.
Sharing this here, for the video

I tried to directly link the video, tell me if it works.
Yup 😮
It really is such a chaotic scene 😭 -
The youtube link's not working but i can imagine
-
Let's not break what is already working with ACTUALLY fun and interactive killers like Wesker, Springtrap or Unknown. THESE are the killers that offer the best for both casual and competitive playerbase and they should be what the game is balanced around.
This 1000%. It makes me very sad that people think springtrap is weak only because the other killers being released are so broken. Like literally the game would actually be better right now if ghoul and krasue didn't exist.
-
Whilst it's true that these perks are completely oppressive on her. I think if you get good with the Krasue you wouldn't even need these perks, she's that overpowered.
I played a few hours of her today and it seems like the only loop that is actually safe is Shack with a dropped pallet. These perks shut it down though but you can just break the pallet and put on aura reading and gen stall instead -
@BbQz said:
Do you not realize what's happening? New killer that vaults pallets is super busted and has little to no counter play!!
Damnit this isn't enough incentive!! Wait!! Let's add a bunch of pallets to worsen the experience of the killers people want to play!! That way they will buy our new killer!!!
High fives all around.
I have thought about this as a possibility but it would be so despair inducing.
I prefer to think they just went with a far too simple approach to addressing dead zone complaints. That's how i felt about the anti-tunnelling changes as well. They call both of these "Quality of Life" as well.
But honestly you are probably correct especially considering how much of a failure doomed course was, they definitely have the people that would make this kind of decision. -
DS + Off The Record. I think OTR is still pretty good right now.
Also a tip against the Krasue. Use DS from a locker, it forces her back into head form, buying you a bit more time. -
It's up to you but i blame the devs

I don't know how or why they decided to buff like 5 aspects of her kit all at the same time. Especially the whole Chucky-style sliding on collision thing. Reminds me of how they buffed Houndmaster.
It makes me wonder if it was the primary designer that threw these changes in or someone else entirely, since the PTB design seemed strong but mostly sensible, just a little clunky.
I think devs just overreacted to the feedback of "it feels clunky". They did the same to myers as well, by making the slaughtering strike "feel more lunge-y", they nerfed it to the point where it's pointless.
Devs validate player feedback far too much (to the point of invalidating reason). They are seriously lacking their own design intuition. -
I think she's fun to play. There is some strategy involved and she's super oppressive in chase
-
@Amanova said:
Btw how you rendered her like that? Looks great and polished
it's AI
-
Yeah. At the very least nerf her in hotfix 1 and dont wait for hotfix 2 like they did for ghoul.
-
My guess is that, based on negative feedback about the basekit slugging changes allowing survivors to move whilst crawling (a lot of people including myself thought it removed interactivity) they decided they should keep it removed it from tenacity as well.
Devs have done this quite a few times in the past where they change something usually for the better or neutral and then suddenly decide that thing has actually always been problematic and they destroy it. See Thanataphobia and Wake Up.
Now, i do personally think that tenacity was fine before, but if my assumption is correct and wasn't just a lazy mistake they made. If they insist on not having moving whilst crawling i think it should have more compensation buffs.
