I can't tell if you are joking or not but regardless i agree with everything here.
Especially about survivors not getting good perks.
In the upcoming DLC the survivor perks are really, really bad.
Reactive Healing, worthless. Nobody will use it.
Low profile, worthless, way too situational, and if that's not enough there's a time limit because it'd clearly be too overpowered if it was permanent...
Wiretap seems good but in reality it's a novelty perk. It would have been good if it worked with Open-Handed, but it doesn't. In reality when you use this perk the killer will always kick the gen. Perks in dbd work like that. If you have deliverance the killer will hook you first.
Better than new is way too undertuned.
Hyperfocus is too difficult and will only be used by genrush builds.
Reassurance is strong but only if the killer camps, if they don't, this perk will not do anything.
Meanwhile, all of weskers perks are very strong and very impactful.

Only because you misunderstand what I say. What I mean by accuracy is making them feel like the character well enough. Obviously no one expects Nemesis to have infinite rockets and sprinting everywhere. Obviously he would need some kind of balancing and stuff which is fine. What I mean by accuracy is for example Nemesis just having those 2 thing in his power.
"some kind of balancing"
That's the problem. You can't balance everything. At some point a new design has to be made.
-
It's really not. If they prioritised accuracy over anything else, pig would have a 100% kill rate.

Blight, Nemesis, Shape, Cenobite

I love how we can balance for casual survivors but not casual killers, talk about double standards.
The patch is fine, issues that exist are the same ones that have always existed such as tunneling, bad matchmaking and DCs/entitled players giving up. Not to mention map rng and just how different maps are.
Actual balance wise, it's not too bad. Killers stronger and low mmr and survivors stronger at high mmr. And the middle is a mix providing you dont get the above issues (which once again arent patch issues)
Both sides are not equal. the 1 in the 1v4 should be a lot harder.

Guys literally just wait for Reassurance to come live.
Its going to hit the meta like a truck if it makes it to live as it currently is.
I've not had a single camping killer since the update dropped, most killers play for 8 hooks and then sacrifice. Reassurance will not do anything for the most part, it will just be a replacement for borrowed time in the old meta. A perk to ensure the killer doesn't do an unfun tactic.

I feel the same way friend. I use to escape about half the time before the update but my escape rate instantly dramatically dropped when the update came out and nearly a month in it only seems to be going lower. Most games literally feel impossible. There are a few times we've managed to get all gens done but if that happens the killer just slugs everyone because we've probably lost the first person and some of us are injured because we are desperate to get gens done.
As killer, i am currently on a 13 4k streak as the wraith. I usually finish with 3 or more gens remaining. Killer is pretty nice without dead hard but it's boring when it's this easy.
It's not getting better with this next chapter either... Wesker is actually really good and has 3 very good perks. 8/9 of the survivor perks are actual garbage. They usually are...
I really hope they do something in the next mid chapter because i am slowly losing interest in playing survivor completely.

Trickster because his power feels completely pointless on maps with no consistent line of sight, and he always pays the price for his power by being 4.4m/s and having a 40 meter lullaby. 2nd weakest for me is definitely Onryo because her power is very shallow. Her stealth is heavily watered down wraith and her teleport is pretty weak because of small but important details. 3rd is probably deathslinger, he's just not very strong.

Hell yeah, finally acknowledged. When this bug is fixed Kindred will be back to it's former glory.

Yui is my favourite because i think it looks very close to mikasa but it's also still yui, and she still wears her pink armband. Also her lobby animation really fits mikasa too.

Man retired all on his own and he hadn't been fully tuned into FNAF for quite some time. What he wasn't was cancelled considering that would require him to experience a loss which he didn't. He's made and still making a boat load of money, his legacy as a game dev is set, and FNAF did what any game dev should want for their game. It outgrew them and can stand on its own without the constant input of Scott.
FNAF is something that had to grow on me, but it did make indie horror a bit stale for a couple years. Personally, I think that has more to do with the general fact that FNAF is an easier type of game style to make as opposed to the highly complex survival horror that is preferred.
"all on his own" is not true. He was pressured into stepping down because of the amount of hate and death threats he received.
-
I love fnaf, i don't like security breach though. I honestly feel like since scott got cancelled he doesn't care about the franchise anymore. Can't blame him.

Clown because there's no penalty to using his power and what it does is simple and useful, slow survivors down.

Because the community asked for it. There was a question in a player satisfaction survey that asked what kind of genres do people wanna see Dead By Daylight adapted to and Dating Sim was one of them. Yes, most people chose it as a joke, but the results of the survey are meant to be taken seriously.
Remember that they are different games. Hooked on You is just a spin off. It's not part of the main dbd universe or anything.

I think last patch i escaped like 35% of the time, although i often didn't try very hard at all.
This patch my escape rate is probably less than 10% and i am trying my absolute best and have been looking to find my best build. Killers i am getting matched against aren't getting any easier. It's just so dang hard right now. But i am still having fun, not gonna be able to get iridescent 1 though this season unfortunately.

Survivor, Jake Park.
I don't main a specific killer because i get bored of playing any killer after a couple of matches. I play most killers but there's a handful killers that i don't like to play at all, those being Hillbilly, Trickster, Sadako.
I play Killer 60% of the time and survivor 40% of the time, probably.
I play on PC Steam but i also have the Nintendo Switch version for whenever it gets cross-progression.

I agree with a lot of the things you've said here.
One minor thing i don't agree with.
Adding back the vaulting speed to Spine Chill, personally this is the only thing i wanted gone from spine chill, because i think the perk helping you in a chase and giving you detection is too much, the vault speed is why it was popular in high level lobbies.
Also i think a lot more needs to be done about anti-tunnelling measures. I'm really not sure what but the problem definitely wasn't addressed in the update.
-
I've found that i need to use OTR + Sprint Burst to deal with tunnelling. Because Sprint Burst works off the hook.
I think the problem with the update is that tunnelling is not less effective in most cases.
In a scenario where a healthy survivor, with no hooks, unhooks a survivor in front of you, it is a better decision to hit the unhooked survivor immediately and chase them. Doing this cancels 3 potential things, the basekit BT, actual BT and Off The Record. So both survivors have two hits, but if you go for the unhooked survivor you will have a survivor with two hooks on them whereas if you go for the unhooker you'll have two survivors with 1 hook on them. The Basekit BT they added, and endurance off the hook, is not enough, all it does is prevent the killer from immediately downing an unhooked survivor, which is a nice addition, but it does not solve tunnelling at all.
I honestly don't know how it can be solved in a conclusive way but i think 5 second DS should be restored until they do.
-
I think those are great ideas 😃 Maybe Dwight could also be Marco. Maybe, The Huntress could be The Beast Titan, since they are both good at throwing things. I would definitely love to see more from this collection. Especially Sasha because she is my favourite character so i was disappointed that she wasn't featured.
-
Before update i used
- Kindred
- Borrowed Time
- Small Game
- Decisive Strike
This build is not as good anymore. I don't really see the point of borrowed time when everyone can equip Off The Record instead. Small Game i don't find as necessary because the Hex : Ruin and Hex : Undying combo isn't popular anymore at all. Decisive Strike is pretty weak.
This is the build i am using right now for survivor
- Kindred
- Empathic Connection
- Sprint Burst
- Off The Record
Kindred and Empathic Connection is very helpful to co-ordinate when playing solo queue. The two perks also have perfect synergy together. Kindred does not give information about you when you are off the hook so empathic connection fills that hole.
Sprint Burst makes the game feel a lot more forgiving and you can get really good at using it. It also helps as a form of anti-tunnel with Off The Record. Because when you get unhooked you get a sprint burst and you also have endurance which makes it hard for the killer to tunnel.

I believe this bug started with the 6.0.0 PTB.
