You heavily change what an average is when you play with your friends.
Think of the small blips as your friends and the giant peak as you, this also works in the reverse.
Also this is just a explanation of what could be happening.
-
All killers have perks that work with their powers and if I recall the devs seemed somewhat surprised and intrigued that two non meta, very niche perks were used for pinhead.
Some examples
Spirit | stridor, sloppy, bloodhound
Legion and plauge | thana and hystria <currently bugged but used to work with killer instinct frenzy>
Ghostface | Dark Devotion trail of torment etc.
However, I also think that these perks are rather healthier than running the 4 slowdowns meta.
-
This is a great concept but instead of it blinding the killers gen reading aura, why not make it so that it shows other survivors generators when being chased for a long duration.
Gain a token after being in a chase for Sixty|Fifty| Forty Seconds. Each token reveals the aura of four random generators to every survivor for Five\Seven\Ten seconds, with no cool down. Additionally, while this boon is lit it gives a 15 percent bp boost to the bold category.
-
I hope Boon totems are just used as a way to increase bp gains by a certain percentage so that newer and older players are encouraged to do it and so that it does not hurt or help the killer.
-
pig wins regardless cause she can just avoid traps and wait out timer, she also has the stealth option and has experience ambushing people <saw movies>. Trapper even with the setup has no way to force confrontation.

Saying "I will never be happy" is the strangest way of defending hacking. Of course I'm not going to be happy if they allow hackers into the game, nobody should. But, you're implying that I will never be happy because some people are just better than me and it feels like they're cheating which is wrong.
You are not looking for solutions you are looking for a fight with anyone or anything for any reason on a whim. I wish you luck and hope that you can get the answers you are looking for.
Also I like how you argue and hope you get the chance to argue against someone who will defend Hackers and not the other way around. By the way, it says hello
-
You can only control what you do, anytime you find yourself getting mad or upset at another player or anything | Count to 4 seconds and take deep breaths
Also, set a simple goal to do in any of your games <For me it is get 1 hook or do 1 gen> and then you will at least of done something and you might feel better.
p.s. Thank you for being the change you want to see in this game, I am glad more people like you are popping up!
-
Believe it or not a LOT of people FALSELY report people which only weighs down how long it takes for legitimate concerns to actually be answered. They are doing their best but because of improperly done tickets, understaffed support, and more. They are taking action but I guarantee you as soon as they ban this guy there will be more posts of <why did they not ban this guy he cheats too>.
You will never be happy... and that is ok.

lol- humour me;
So SBMM was enabled. Apparently, I'm supposed to be matched with people of my skill level. Awesome. Well not really- everyone seems to be re-painted red ranks (now called Iridescent), and for some reason, the level of bad manners from both Killers and Survivors I've experienced has gone through the roof.
Muh Story:
After multiple matches of camping, tunneling, and 'team mates' working with the Killer, I'm already jaded and bitter. Load into a match against Pig. Bless her, this Killer is the first one playing normally and not tunneling like an arse.
BUT-
the moment the match started, I notice the Steve (it's ALWAYS a Steve), who thinks he is the hottest, the most amazing bloody survivor who has ever slammed a pallet. I HATE people like this. You can see them dancing around- taking unnecessary risks, running AFTER the Killer, trying to embody f*ckin jazz-hands to show that Killer and everyone else how adept, how unstoppable, how ELITE he is as he unhooks a poor Feng in the Pig's face without Borrowed Time (she got downed and hooked again).
oh, his side kick was a Cheryl. Also VERY ah-mazing in her own head just FYI.
We're down to 2 gens . I have the second last at about 90%. I see the Steve running towards me with Pig in tow. I surmise he wants to loop her around the shack ( I am working on the gen IN the shack). So I slip into a locker. I think that I'll wait until the coast is clear, and 5 seconds the gen will be done.
So what does Steve do? He runs into the shack, OPENS the locker I'm in, shows the Pig I'm in there, and teabags.
Now INB4: I have done gens/ saves in this match. I even unhooked STEVE. I am that team mate Bill who hates leaving anyone behind. I'm always conscious of grabbing people off the hook before struggle- making sure they're healed. Doing the grunt work the flashy Steve's of DBD are too good for. So don't think I'm a crouching, hiding coward.
No, Steve in this case was being a D-bag. For no reason.
Alas, I immediately jump out of the locker and start running. The Pig switches target to me, and eventually downs me. The Cheryl saves me, only to get hooked fairly quickly afterwards and promptly kills herself (the poor Feng was long gone).
And here is the crux of my story.
After Cheryl gets sacrificed, Steve gets hooked.
I am so pissed off at this point. Sir Hotshot threw the entire match for what? Because he couldnt stand that I jumped in a locker? He's struggling, and God help me, I walk over-, RBT on my head (inactive mind you) just me and him left.. and I STARE at that jerk, and I did not unhook him. Oh no.
I walked away.
I didn't even know where the hatch was. I just knew the entire match was blown and that sometimes, some of these jerks need to learn a lesson; if you treat your team mates like crap, don't expect them to be there for you.
I heard the sound of Steve's death, and suddenly, the sweet hum of a hatch. Just steps from me. I had no idea it was even there. And yes, I got it. I got the hatch.
This game is turning me into a monster.
We look after our own Bill... We look after our own.
There are people like that Steve and cheryl that ruin solo queue. Also I feel horrible for that poor feng min.

Seems like an easy solution to that is to not pause the hook timer when in a chase
Survivors would actually just get close enough to force the killer closer to the hook <to prevent a save> and then while they are stalling the killer, survivors teammates had basically all the time in the world to push out gens. Additionally, if the killer did end up hurting a survivor, another survivor would just take their place and or get the save while the killer was distracted. Apparently after just a little time of having the system in place the Devs realized that the system was too easy to manipulate <It ended up just punishing people who did not camp and campers wold just stay out of sixteen meters> and allowed survivors to basically have infinite time to complete the gens and or get a rescue. <The perk Camaraderie is a small glimpse into how the system could of worked> .
Camaraderie | if another Survivor is within 16 metres of your Hook while Camaraderie is active, the Struggle Phase timer is paused for 26/30/34 seconds
This is a short conclusion of the Hook pausing experiment and the result of it was the perk I just listed.
-
If your getting message directly from steam, Xbox, or PlayStation make sure to report the player for harassment or unsportsmanlike behavior through their official services and block them <You will still match with those players but they can no longer message you>
If your getting messages in post game chat I believe you can find a video on how to close or disable post game chat so that this does not happen and if their messages are severe enough you can report that player in game.
To Disable Chat I believe you just click on the two arrows next to the chat box and it should be gone.

Well, how do I prevent them from being in my matches then?
The most simple fix is using two common keyboard keys at the same time
| Alt F4
You never have to worry about being matched with players you do not like.
-
As far as I know you probably just missed but they do have a visual bug where when victor gets crushed and you swap back to Charlotte victor phases away from you it is funny. They also could of just dead harded as soon as you released pounce.
-
My favorite meme about both sides
-
I would go shadowborn and four other perks. I just wish they gave the option to equip shadowborn without taking a perk slot.
Immersed Demogorgon | Bloodhound, Sloppy Butcher, Spies from the shadow, Lightborn, and Bamboozle or fire up.
-
Only buy stuff on sale because DBD tends to have them pretty frequently so if your interested in a decent killer with some great gameplay buy the dlc.
-
it should be around five-hundred auric cells.
-
Allegedly SBMM will take the average of a SWFS MMR and find killers based on that.
-
Survivor Idea is fine but the perks are way too strong
Sedate | Basically Decisive Strike with extra steps that completely destroys killers and is so strong that It needs a total revamp.
Mania | Mettle of Man and Deliverance all combined into a perk which also needs a total revamp because it basically allows the survivor to enter god mode and is grossly overpowered.
Entity entrapment | Imagine this perk used by four survivors it basically means that the killer can not hook without getting stunned realistically and punishes killers for hooking survivors and is a pseudo breakout and Deliverance.
All in all, these Ideas are not bad but they are way too strong and need to be reworked with regards to how easy it is to acquire these tokens and the entity entrapment thing needs a total rework because a killer should not be punished for hooking someone.
Some potential rework Ideas could be the following |
Sedate | On a successful pallet stun slow the killer by 5% for Ten Seconds
Mania | Massively increase the distance for scratchmarks <Makes it easy to see but incredibly difficult to follow them>
Entrapment | Can attach a firecracker to a pallet once per trial stunning the killer if they kick it within twenty seconds <Stuns killer for 5 Seconds>.
-
Yeah they camp pallets now so I recommend you bait the pallet <Move forward slightly while charging of the abyss, and then wait till the move slightly then shred. Either you get a hit or a pallet.> Also stun validation is a good thing in my opinion means that if you outplay a survivor and time your hit right you get rewarded and vice versa.
-
I think it most likely just lag or desync but its nice to know that some people still play plague.
-
Ask yourself this, if you were good as your main before they implement the change what difference will it make if you go against easier or more difficult survivors or killers, it will not make a big difference and if it does then you will know there is still more to learn.
Despite this you will most likely still improve or win. However, if you lose you will know your main slightly better and know yourself better. Best make peace with a decision beyond your control and prepare for whats next.
-
Need more information unless your talking about auto aim whiffs where you would of hit a survivor but the auto aim locks you into hitting a object or air.
-
One killer main to another, you have to let go of winning or 4ks just try to go for 1 hook and see what happens from there and for survivor gameplay just do one gen and rest easy knowing that you tried your best. Also no matter how good you are or how well you do, sometimes you still lose.
-
I currently main Demo but used to main Legion
Survivor I main Bill because I love left 4 dead
Also you will know when you have found your main after you find yourself loving the little quirks and unique mechanics that set your killer apart <For me I love Demos howls and warbling because he reminds me of a Halo Elite>, Also you might not now your main right away but overtime you will start enjoying the little things they do.
-
Nice build!
-
Are you playing Nemesis, if yes than maybe i have heard that he has a wonky hitbox but if your playing other killers it should not effect you at all.

Victor being an AI would just be stupid TBH. it would take the twins from unique to just making you a boring as ######### m1 killer. That lets you have a stupid little gremlin roaming around on his own sometimes.
Hey I agree him being an AI would be way too strong! I just wanted his pounce to be stronger and hinder survivors who he latches onto so that they are more encouraged to knock him off quickly or being considerably slower.
-
I wish victor would act as a debuff that would invert survivors controls and or work against survivors so that they could not do anything for 8 or 6 seconds if latched on <Think of victor as hindering them heavily till victor is removed from head>.
But i do not agree that victor should be able to move freely that would be way too strong thing a Nemesis zombie on steroids or if he started patrolling a hook.
-
Try endgame wraith and set simple goals, also based on what your saying you need to reevaluate what it is you enjoy or want out of DBD and most importantly take a break from the game because if your constantly fatigued from playing DBD you might want to take a break for your health.
Also, I do agree that this game is weirdly in a great balanced state and that when facing optimized people it can make you just not want to play but a good way to beat this is by setting simple win conditions for yourself.

When did they nerf him? Was it the barbs glasses nerf?
When he got his addons reworked, they nerfed his addons but slightly buffed his basekit. Also as far as I know barbs glasses is basically like brutal strength for his shred and has not been changed.
-
If they nerfed demo again I would cry but I do not think I can quit maybe take breaks.
-
Try Immersed demogorgon build
Shadowborn or Lightborn
Bloodhound or Chase perk
Spies from the shadows
Any chase perks Bamboozle, Brutal Strength
|
There is also endgame builds
No way out
NOED
Bloodwarden
Remember me
Rancor
|
There is the basement build
Agitation
Iron Grasp
Starstruck or mad grit
Monstrous Shrine
|
Stealth Build
Tinkerer
Trail of Torment
Beast of prey
Insidious
|
Oblivious or status build
Nemesis perk
Hysteria
Hex Third Seal
Sloppy Butcher or blood echo
plague is killer for broken
|
These are some of the builds I could think of hopefully you got to use them or find new perks to use.
-
Demo main here, switch your thinking on what you consider a win and just start with some simple goals.
Some simple goals could be |
down or hook 1 survivor
Get all four unique hooks
Interrupt one gen while it is being worked on
Complete a chase in 1 minute
Get 1 grab out a locker or off a gen
Outplay a survivor
| The aforementioned goals I just listed above really help me to have lots of fun even if all survivors escaped at least I did x or y or z. But most importantly play for fun if it gets really bad and your not having fun take a break and come back better and remember this...
even if you did everything right, sometimes you will still lose.
-
I honestly wish they added in Hunk as a cosmetic option for Leon.
-
It is a good build but I recommend to try a few games without slowdown perks. The reason is to find out your killers specific weakness or advantages and you will understand the killer better. Also ask yourself how often you use a perk and if you do use a perk often do you benefit from it and if a perk is rarely used but helps massively try to consider running it. <Keep in mind I play demo and recommend a build that complements your unique play-style> .
-
I used to main legion and he was my first p3 up until a week or two ago to where I switched to demo and I am happy to say demogorgon in my eyes is way more fun.
-
You could try to go as legion, David <Big loose clothing>, Ace, pyramid head
-
Demo,i love is howls and constant warbling that make it a monstrous beast. Additionally, Demo has great music and atmosphere and can quickly traverse maps using portals!
-
I see a win as getting all four BBQ stacks and then a bonus if I can rancor the obsession.
But if your new or having a bad time a simple win for me is just to get a single hook or generator done because then even if all four survivors escape at least you got one hook and that is good enough for me!
-
I love going against basement bubbas who protect their sacred chest yet still manage to 3 kill my teammates it is always hilarious. But I do understand most people enjoy chases more then gens it just sucks when you go against top tier players constantly <No joke I got four matches against p3 bloodied players all with toolboxes, keys, and flashlights made me stop playing demo for a while>
-
- BBQ and Chili
- Shadowborn
- Rancor
- Noed
- No Way out
- Devour Hope
- Hysteria
Honorable Mentions | Bamboozle, enduring, Fire Up, Remember Me, and Blood Warden
-
What phasmamain said, they tried a system like this and survivors abused it heavily
-
It is related to his portals sometimes he will completely disappear when exiting a portal however if you keep using portals you should be fine also I think the devs are working on a fix for it.
-
My rule for killer games,
If there is a really nice altruistic survivor who is not toxic I let them leave. Also i always try to two hook before killing although sometimes i end up killing by accident.
Survivor no BM to killer regardless of how they play <I am a killer main and I know that toxic behavior encourages them to do more bad stuff ironically, same goes if play as killer>

Wrong. If you play him some you will know exactly where the cages spawn. They always spawn the furthest away from where you cage a survivor. It's no rocket science to find the cage if you really want to.
I am aware of what his cages do I also know that if you get too close to the cage they will eventually teleport away but in my opinion his cages could be the stepping stone to adjusting camping or hooks in general.
I also need to clarify something as well, I actually do not mind camping, personally I try not to but I understand it is a strategy that can work and often times does. I simply wanted to provide a possible solution to it is all.
-
Camping, like gens is core to this game because it involves hooks. pyramid head is in my opinion mostly the solution to camping because he does not even know where survivors are caged and could be used to change the game. But unfortunately hooks like gens are so fundamental any change made would massively impact the game.

I prefer 1 gen slowdown, and chase builds.
But red rank killers basekit perks: Ruin, Corrupt, Pop, Tinkerer or Undying every single game.
I did not include chase builds because I was almost certain that more people would only pick chase or meme builds over the two more common builds. But I also would like to know which slowdown perk
-
Make it so survivors have acceleration (Currently survivors are moving at top speed always 4 M/S) This would make it so survivors can't 360, can't flip running one way then run another, make loops more balanced, make it difficult to reach top speed eating walls (running into wall to move slightly faster).
Tl;Dr give survivors acceleration like killers have.
-
Try reinstalling game
