You do realize that you let them wiggle off if you try to drop them when they are nearly at the end of struggle?
Yes, you do realize that by planning ahead and predicting outcomes you can swing a match to your favor right?

I think they are gonna do something like they did with Clown. A addon pass and also some changes or adjustments to his base power.
I hope they are gonna do something about the hit where you remove the stalk progress on the survivors cuz this can be easily exploited by bodyblocking while you carry someone on a hook, therefore you just reset your progress which is huge and takes away alot of pressure to the survivors. Atleast make it that they lose 50% of the stalk progress or something else.
Losing a 99 because you did not capitalize on it and the survivor did something smart is your fault. Observe your surroundings and plan accordingly also adjust based on the situation why not drop the survivor and finish downing <now you have one slugged one hooked>.

I just wish they soft locked frequent DCers into matches with people who also frequently dc. But your suggestion seems like a great starting point.

You know that it is a Beginners Guide? I have not watched it, but making fun of a Beginners Guide is pretty weak.
Someones looking for a fight

I would make survivors have acceleration
Currently, when survivors start running from zero they immediately hop to one hundred percent movement speed. I would change this to them gradually ramping up to a hundred percent movement speed and this would fix three-sixties, zigzagging, dead hard, running into wall <this would slow them down> and punish them for hugging walls.
-
Bubba, you lose one chase and the fear of getting camped gets to you.
-
I recommend you start camping after first hook and than purposefully play bad enough to make them want to leave and get looped <this works all the time and it will make you lose mmr fast and is quite fun>.
-
No joke you joining them hurt them more than if you just got on a smurf account and walked them through the game. Because when your in a SWF it takes all players average and compared to your new friends you would of been making them play against meta players.
Compared to your friends you are the giant peak and where MMR appears to draw from when matching killers.

Why would I need shadowborn to not get motion sickness? That seems like a "fix your game" problem
Ironically, shadowborn is the fix <band-aid perk>. Also, I used to get motion sickness too but you could also try stretched resolution <not supported and condemned by everyone including me>. Unfortunately, it does not appear likely that the devs will add in a FOV slider so I recommend shadowborn for right now <I wish there was an optional spot just for this perk>.

I tried one match as my old main, The Spirit. God was it a pain. The FOV made me so dizzy and the gens flew by because they changed Ruin. How dp people play Killer?
And why was She nerfed?
Ah, you got to put shadowborn back on.

Mods have said demo <and perks> will still receive changes but simply will not be sold anymore. All Stranger Things perks will be made general, and Hawkins will be removed for reasons <Likely legal problems>.

:I don't think it does if any, every killer I get is super perk and add-ons no matter how poorly I play. Until the Devs show us actual ranking mmr will continue to be a mess.
Your MMR is adjusted over time however you may have to lose a LOT of games for it to move you to your preferred MMR rating. However, if you have playing for a long time your MMR might be very high <a lot of killers who consistently 4ked or survivors who escaped>. It will take a while before you eventually end up where you are supposed to. However if you can hold your own currently than MMR appears to have found the right matches for you <even if you must sweat>.
<Important note> I do not think MMR is terrible or great, I do believe that it is a better system because more survivor teammates are more capable and my killer matches are more to my liking. Unfortunately, it may differ for you but this system is set in stone for the foreseeable future. Also if you do manage to escape but the match was not enjoyable dying or having all survivors leave the match <exit by gate> MMR reportedly counts that as a loss.
TLDR | MMR is staying for the foreseeable future and it may take time to find your preferred MMR.

Common opinions | Hexes are global and affect everyone, Boons are limited to a smaller radius and have a limited effect to their radius and take time to set up. Whether or not these are good reasons depend on your stance but these are some common things to keep in mind. Additionally, always remember that perks are subject to change and they could always make adjustments at anytime.
Secondly, Hexes are High Risk\High Reward <you can shift the game using these easily> while boons are moderate risk\moderate reward <takes time to set up and use and can be snuffed in a couple seconds>.
<Important note> I think hexes, like any other perk could use some updates but I just want to give a little perspective on things.

I've played for 3-4 hours today and around 80% of those matches were hilariously onesided in favor of the survivors. I can't take this constant abuse anymore, there need to be changes immediately. The game is too survivor sided in its current state, the current matchmaking merely cemented this.
Helpful tip I recommend is to just get all 4 bbq stacks and down survivors but never hook them. This simple stratgey <employed on my highest queue killer, Legion> has led to me queues going from max ten minute wait to a solid 5 or less. <If you want to kill bring rancor or devor and only kill one survivor that is what I do and it is a nice challenge>
-
Run haddenfield and drop from roof without balanced landing.
Then cry.
-
In the older originals it was implied that freddy was bad.
In the newest movie <Wes Cravens New Nightmare> he is confirmed to be REALLY BAD.
-
Favorite | Having a close match with lots of opportunities to either win or lose during a game.
Dislike | When survivors wait 2 mins or more to leave and when killers repeatedly hit me on hook repeatedly <It is okay if they do it once to not hear scream>
-
I love going against sprint burst gamers because if I see it once I can prepare. In complete contrast to this, Deadhard is a perk that you will only find out about after wasting a significant amount of time <thirty seconds plus>.
I would be happier if they simple made it so that dead hard worked like and injured sprint burst <Holding the run button makes you have a slightly stronger sprint burst to escape killer>.
-
If it is a sabo squad and no one is running no mither just slug them all till they either bleedout or crawl to hooks and then wait till they hit second stage and repeat <I have went against people who would all crawl towards one corner of map and could not be hooked>. You can also bring Hangmans Trick <I do not recommend using a perk to counter this build unless you want to> and that should help.
-
-
No mither meta and survivors will always escape

You dont? You bind use item to mouse wheel down and spam it with flashlight to use 99d sprint burst exactly like dh
So it requires using an exploit to make sprint burst work even a little like dead hard, thanks for telling me that!

Then its not a free health state but just extending chases and i can do the exact same thing with sb 99d and a flashlight, even while healthy to counter exposed while with dh gl using it while exposed or instadown
Sprint burst takes skill to 99 and means that if you want to use it during chase you have to keep running.
Dead hard is literally the only exhaustion perk that you can activate at will.
Lithe needs fast <or medium vault>
Sprint burst makes it so you cant run <without triggering perk>
Balanced is already nerferd and still makes me sad <lol haddenfield ruined this perk>.
Imagine if the killer had a button <other than their power> that literally stopped survivors from moving for three seconds, it activates anytime the killers gets pallet stunned or brakes two pallets <similar to injuring>, it would be broken.
-
Literally, everyone in that game took the game hostage, excluding the feng <she literally could not do anything>. Also, stop bodyblocking until all gens are done or egc is started because until then you are still taking the game hostage I believe.
-
Hey, a lot of people feel what you feel. However, I do recommend that you set some simple goals of what you want to do in a game. I also recommend turning of names and if you are losing heavily or get upset to just find a gate and wait for the game to be over, then take a small break and calm down.
Some of my Goals below |
Hook 1 survivor
Down two survivors
Finish 1 gen
Get 1 to 4 bbq stacks
get 4 hooks
finish a chase in under sixty seconds
Rancor mori my obsession
|
-
Make it so that you can relight hex totems <infinitely> after Ten seconds channeling a dull totem.
-
The hatch can only spawn if they are the last survivor left alive. All this change does is punish a survivor for staying behind and is a great change in my opinion.
Also depending on if a killer closing the hatch stays the same and triggers End Game Collapse than I am fine with the survivor wasting their time.
-
Legion and doctor <nothing happens during the game>
Huntress and Trickster
Ghostface and spirit <punishes survivor who try to hide or loop or hold w>
Hag and trapper <wombo combo trapper sets them up, hag knocks em down>
Twins and Twins <Goodluck staying on your feet for longer than ten seconds>
pyramid head and nurse <total destruction>
Nurse and spirit <Cannot loop, hide, or hold w>
Blight and huntress
-
Slugging even with what you mentioned is not reportable they are engaging in gameplay even if you do not like how they play.
-
It looks like a bug or latency. If he was hacking <which I doubt, also I need more info> then it is not very obvious but it seems to just be a bug with the effect appearing.
-
This is both a net nerf to noed and is way too strong to be implemented. This punishes solos more. A better change would be making it so that noed allows you to mori survivors for each unique hook <4 tokens> and grants a 8% speed boost <no exposed effect because mori> spawns on any dull totem left standing.
But if we implement your change, a killer could literally just camp survivors would be screwed regardless of if they do or do not do gens. All this change does if give the illusion of options. This also removes the need for killers to run this perk <yay more slowdown>. This change only punishes survivors, especially if they vs a good killer who is able to keep pressure.
-
I can understand why those killers slug for so long.
<Background events> I have gone against teams who will literally only LET you slug them as they all run to a corner with no hooks and who will literally destroy <actually> newer killers and literally wish death on you for just hooking them. I can count on one hand the number of times a killer has dmed me toxic stuff but because survivors are so numerous it is likely that one person is going to be rude. I have also went against survivors who abused flashlight saves <locker stuff> and more just to get sent a message from them after the game telling me to self forever sleep.
However, if you want to know why people like to make others suffer or killers slug for four minutes <often> its because they feel like making others suffer as they have suffered. Mostly, its not you or any other survivors fault but like some other people have stated it is a cycle. The easiest way to understand this is with an example
Say you stub your toe on a wall re-actively most people would be mad at the wall <even though it literally did nothing> because they feel the wall made them get hurt.
Ironically, all it takes is a few times of where a survivor or killer hurts you and then people start to feel apathetic to them because in that moment they stop being human and shift into a killer main or survivor main and this shifts people thinking. It is mostly just irrational and emotion filled thinking that leads to those kinds of players.
Also there are some people who just like watching others suffer but I doubt that they would just slug you because it is more thrilling if you have the chance to fight back but eventually give up.
TLDR | They play that way because they thrive of making others feel bad or feel as they have feel. Also I kind of went on a rant and some of it may not make sense but wanted to give some info on why some might be rude.
-
Most console people see just how bad this system is and do not want it for obvious reasons...

Ah yes, and so we wait...

This is outrageous, its unfair! how can you be a silver player and not be matched against silver killers <Sarcasm>.
Just to let you know Grades and MMR are separate entities and only represent playtime nothing more.
-
ALL Generators need to be completed before rancor activates it has been this way since the beginning I believe.
-
It never increased you are just noticing it more because the higher your mmr the more you see certain perks or builds.
Also, on the forums people have reported more facecampers in higher mmr so that may be a reason.

Could they not try it like if a survivor is also within 10 meters, to avoid looping abusing it, this will cancel out the camping penalty. So face camping is 8 metres is the slower hook progress, survivor within 10 metres, normal hook progress. For example, a survivor hooked in the basement and another looping the shack and a possible very close loop to it.
No joke, the facecamping change only hurt those killers who did not camp because the facecampers would wait outside of the distance to pause the timer and survivors would just for noncamping killers to loop then near the hook or keep them within that range. The best change they could make is like pyramid heads cages but people would complain that they cant save their friends with flashlights and that if a killer tunnels you your now going to die because the did not camp you but still killed you extremely quickly.
Hooks, like gens are fundamental to this games design and any change made, large or small, will result in a new meta that WILL be worse than what they tried to change <BT made to discourage tunneling but now people with BT block killers from chasing unhooker. Ruin only gets better with each iteration not worse and only leads to more broken combos>. This community will find anyway to abuse any mechanic and will call it a tech to make it more ok.
TLDR | New mechanics that are supposed to punish those who abuse <camping or other>, only hurt those who play the game normally.
-
If you have been playing since 2k18 by sheer number of matches you will have both won and lost more than anyone else and most likely have such a high average SBMM rating that you will need a while to play. Additionally, you might have adjusted you the way you play recently but simply by pure volume of games your rating must be very high <They have been collecting this data for a long time supposedly>. I have no suggestions on how to change this because it is obvious that you understand the fundamentals to some degree, however I recommend that you redefine what is a win for you.
TLDR | Set a simple goal for a win<in your terms> and do not expect to things to change because you <most likely> have an abundance of playtime and matches where you <likely> escaped.

You have time to Netflix something😱
I watch Netflix in between games or as soon as I finish one, if I queue up I switch to music or YouTube <My queues even a long time ago never exceeded ten minutes and average around five minutes regardless of role I chose>.
I feel bad for those who wait twenty to thirty minutes to play though.
-
I think that if a survivor loops killer for a while they should get a bp bonus and if the killer manages to get hits quickly or downs quickly, they should also get a bp bonus. Honestly they should just buff bp for both sides.
-
Reading or listening to music and just chilling, Netflix or watching YouTube is fun too.
-
Some killer and survivor mains were used to winning in a flawed system and rather than accept their shortcomings, blame a system, perk, or situation on something they feel they cannot control. I pity them, they got to comfortable with what they deem a win rather then reevaluate what they want from this game. Well, as the old saying goes | Some people want to have their cake, and eat it too.
Yes. I am a killer main but I recommend you set personal win condition of 1 hook for killer and 1 gen for survivor you will enjoy the game so much more.
-
Shadowborn finally I can not be punished for simple quality of life.
-
Ignore the key user or get the bbq stack and then ignore them. Just pretend only three surviors spawned in and only case those three.
-
Do not be afraid, Join your voice with ours and sing sweet victory, everlasting.
Yes it is fun to see just how much people want to open that infernal box in the basement, but only you <as bubba> can return what they have stolen from us.

Bill because I love l4d and Twins because victor reminds me of the jockey.
