Fixed, sorry, HUD. Dyslexia
ds is now balanced
object is now balanced
lucky break is now very strong
blights taller
huntress has updated addons
Wraith is better than ever
Freddy has become even worse no more slowdown addons for him
trickster has been adjusted and is still trickster
and some new killers have been added
also undying was nerfed to be more balanced
and a massive patch is going to hit in a week with content about equal to this
But what exactly changed with Freddy and Huntress? Any other killer changes?
Console ######### died.
What?
check their addons
also
freddys basekit also now has reduced snare capacity 8 to 5 and reduced pallet capacity 10 to 7 and has you slowed down to 4.0 m/s when placing pallets / snares
also this is mostly just saying where to check for changes not what exactly has changed if you want to see the big changes or the changes in detail check the relevant dbd wiki pages for those changes or just read the patch notes from where you left off
I haven't played in over a year, so I don't know where to even start
spirit is going to be nerfed. There is now going to be directional audio for her phasing inside her terror radius and there will be dust kicking up where she steps.
Deathslinger is getting nerfed. His ADS is now much slower and he can’t shoot until his ADS is fully zoomed in. There is also a cool down before he can attack after canceling his ADS and his terror radius is going from 24 meters to 32 meters. After all these nerfs they only slightly buffed the ads movement speed.
Trapper is getting buffed. He can now carry two traps at the start of the trial without addons. His addons got re worked.
Plauge got a little bit of a buff. Takes longer to cleanse and alot of addon re works.
A huge chunk of killers got addons reworked or buffed. And a few addons got nerfed.
There is going to be a new survivor with two new “Boon” totem perks. Hex perk for survivors basically that can be relit if the killer finds the totem and disables it.
All of what I listed is coming in the next mid chapter patch.
Just two to illustrate my point.
The game froze like that during chases constantly and the game crashed constantly following the RE chapter.
RPD was bugged for a long time and I think it was out of rotation longer than it's been in. It crashed Console's reliably. Now it just does it occasionally.
We still haven't recovered. Want a link to the enormous (largest in Forum history) thread about Console issues?
Also. If you don’t own Demogorgon or Nancy and Steve they will be leaving DBD in November. If you have them purchased before then you will be able to keep and play them but if you don’t have them then you won’t be able to buy them after November. Hawkins map will be disabled in November as well.
Wait why nerf the Spirit? Why tho
The optimization on console (or at least certain consoles) feels like it's the worst it's ever been. It literally feels like dbd is killing consoles if it hasn't already killed a few.
This game is absolute pain save yourself
They added a big water bottle called The Nemesis
Skill Based Match Making was added and shined a big fat light on the pile of dog vomit that is this games horrid gameplay balance, and is slowly killing the game. It's based on Sacrifices and Escapes, so it fixed no balancing issues and instead made the game less fun for literally anyone who plays well.
on the pages mentioned
that was meant to be where to start
Why is the Killer POV so dizzying now? I tried playing killer and got motion sickness.
Also the spirit didn't even need a single nerf, the directional phase makes her a joke. Atleast buff her movement speed. The directional phase removes all mind games and makes it a guarantee that the survivor will just walk away while phasing
I tried one match as my old main, The Spirit. God was it a pain. The FOV made me so dizzy and the gens flew by because they changed Ruin. How dp people play Killer?
And why was She nerfed?
Ah, you got to put shadowborn back on.
Why would I need shadowborn to not get motion sickness? That seems like a "fix your game" problem
They added
garbageSkill Based Match Making into the game.I saw they also nerfed everything when it comes to killer, including the visibility and FOV lol
Ironically, shadowborn is the fix <band-aid perk>. Also, I used to get motion sickness too but you could also try stretched resolution <not supported and condemned by everyone including me>. Unfortunately, it does not appear likely that the devs will add in a FOV slider so I recommend shadowborn for right now <I wish there was an optional spot just for this perk>.
They nerfed Decisive Strike as well.
Also, Keys are getting destroyed finally.
I got severe motion sickness when playing killer, to the point I had to leave and turn off the game. Even if Shadowborn fixes that, there's no way I'm trying that out and risking that again.
Scott is that you?
nah pretty sure he has his own forums account tho but he makes more videos than posts usually since he already has some main platforms
The HUD
No not true. As a killer main myself spirit was cheap as ######### to play as. She was so easy to play and win with. It’s good she’s getting the directional nerf. It won’t change a thing she’s still going to be the best killer with nurse
No, she wasn't cheap. She was fine how she was. Killers should have the advantage during the encounter, not survivors
Should’ve never come back. The game is ######### right now.
Oh yeah guessing where she is 50/50 coin flip is definitely fine. That’s bull Nurse literally is the strongest killer on the whole game but survivors don’t complain about her because she’s actually fun to fight cause she gives warnings and you can counter if you know what to do. Spirit gives no indications she wasn’t fine
By nerf you mean only 2 one was annoying and needed the nerf while the other yes was overnerfed needed it to
