Distortion is a great perk and Jeff is a legend.

Mainly:
Wide-sweeping console optimization
Solo Q Improvements
Would be nice but just a pipe dream for now:
Lobby ping Indicator brought back
Purchasable Mori Animations w/ option to Equip multiple Mori Animations
Trapper buffs
A new survivor item
DS stun revert to 5 seconds

Had a Jumpscare Meyers on Lerys today. I'm writing this from the otherworld after my soul left my body when he crept up on me doing a gen in one of the hospital rooms. I didn't hear him or smell Myers stank in the air this time. I'm just a little shook up, that's all that is.

I'm doing well in solo queue, and I currently have just under 4500 solo escapes, that’s not to say there isn’t a bad game here and there. Anonymous mode is a must have for me and has helped a lot. You don't get to 4.5k escapes and 8.5k sacrifices without making a few enemies.
Valid. I've also adopted Anon Mode. Like, I don't think I can go back to not having it on haha.

It was alright for a while because I faced killers who weren't that good.
But two days ago it went to hell just like it was half a year ago. I had to stop and take another break.
It takes one teammate or me not being glued to gens from the start to don't stand any kind of chance ever. Also wasting energy on matches you won't win is the most pointless thing. I was always against suicides but now I'm not mad when people do it because why bother?
This game turned into a comp dbd over the years and I miss more chill games where we didn't sweat like our lives depend on it.
It is exhausting and straight up frustrating ending up in games you lose by default whatever you do and however you perform as individual. Also sacrificial ward is never gonna leave my loadut anymore because im sick of one trick ponies playing the same maps/loadouts and in most annoying ways possible to rack up streaks.
It is just exhausting man. It's not worth it at all. I am just gonna play other games for a while again.
Agree with a lot of this. I just came off a 4-month break for the Christmas event. Definitely, a lot of good games out there to cleanse the ol' palette with. Personally, I've been in the business of Rockin' and Stonein' (Deep Rock Galactic). I feel the opposite way about suicides, where I've typically been pretty indifferent, but recently just seeing the frequency and timing of their occurrences in my matches get under my skin. Some games a facepalm is necessary.

Good to see BHVR getting into the personal development business. Ik people use Discord for things like that, but I can't help but wonder if anyone has tried the same and had success on the forum's LFG section.

Pyramid Head is all about pain and punishment it's in his lore
If this game existed today, you could literally pay every bill and rent
I don't want to judge anyone but ,I think other guy may have a gambling problem,he even put up his grandfather's coin poor guy that coin has been in his family's possession 5 generations.
I don't think that guy shenmu gives a ######### he took all that man's valuables and left, but the look in his eye is more concerning.Thats the look of I've come for more than your coin old man ,I'll be leaving with your SOUL after this game
Muhuhaha.... lighting strikes ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡

😂 Yeah, that's Ryu alright (Shenmu is a type of large old tree in-game). Taking advantage of poor old men with impulse control and gambling addictions. From that look, there's not one single ######### given that he is about to end this man's whole life.

It seems more like willful ignorance then. It's a very, very simple reason. They do not desire to keep playing this match and working with a bunch of random strangers isn't incentive enough to ignore that impulse. It's more beneficial to them to just die and move on than to keep playing that game. Couldn't be more simple.
Well, It could be more simple. If you don't desire to play the match through, then don't queue up.
If the first thought in your head is to D/C or suicide after losing the first chase when your team is actively working to put themselves in a winning position, then you never had the desire to play in the first place. So do yourself and the community a favor and go play something else like Overwatch 2 so at least when you rage quit the game for the 100th time your team still gets a fill-in.

wanna see something more atrocious than soloq? Play killer aganist competent SWF with a mid tier/low tier killer in maps like the game and garden of joy, then you'll know the meaning of true pain...
Oh yeah, that sucks too. Been there, done it, and got the T-shirt. Though, I still can't say that my worst killer game isn't nearly as painful as my worst solo Q game. Don't get me wrong, there have been some downright bad ones, but what it comes down to for me is at least the control you have of Killer and how much your decision-making directly impacts your side's game. Solo Q just has multiple things going for it that can upset a player between both your teammates and the killer.

games have been awful today
is it just me or have hits been insanely bad? i got hit from 10 miles away like every chase today (and i have a stable 30 ping)
Not just you. I've been getting some insane hits on both ends of the game. Noticed it when I was doing killer challenges during Winter Event. Hard to tell if it's lag or not if the red bar comes up on another player, but something to me feels off as well, more than usual. I had a Knight that literally turned 180 to face away from me when before swinging so he could see what was going on behind him and still get a hit. Like #########?

the days after rank reset are less enjoyable. killer play sweaty from the start and survivors play more selfish.
Yes and so many killing themselves on a hook, even if they go down after 2 gens pop. I don't understand this mentality, even if there was something to understand.

Unfortunately, Pulsar isn't my name in-game. It's similar but not quite the same. Unless you saw PulsarGaming360, it wasn't me.
My apologies.
That's actually a relief cause I did some things I was not too proud of. I was not dealing with my team's BS that game 🤣.

Roll it on Top is a gambling minigame on Shenmue II and III. Also can be very painful for first-timers 😋

It's ######### is what it is. On both sides. Once I started getting some really bullshit hits that shouldn't have ever hit on Dredge after patch, I knew exactly what was up. Now, I'm seeing other killers catching on and doing the same thing. Not even trying to hide the fact that it's more generous with hit detection than usual. It's actually hilarious because some of these hits i've seen even tonight are bonkers.

Eyrie as Trapper is pain. When I load into the game as Trapper on Eyrie, it's ggs already.
I think the only time I've played against a successful Trapper on that map was he adapted to the RNG that gave him Eyrie and ditched the traps because luckily for him, he had a hex build (Haunted, Devour, etc). He got himself 9 hooks, a 1k - better than the other Trappers I've faced on that map.
You gotta really ######### up as a player and or team to lose to a Trapper on Eyrie.
It's me, I'm the Trapper on Eyrie. Send help, been stuck in here for days and the survs won't let me go.

No one has been able to present an argument for making things seasonal because there is none outside of regular corporate greed. Sounds like some paid actors, only no one is actually getting paid.

Just for later reference. I bought Feng Min Pajamas and the full outfit was 21,000 Iri shards. I couldn't buy Mikaela's similar Cozy Break collection with Iri shards, only AC. If/when Feng Min Pajamas come back then this comment serves as a reminder that they did cost Iri shards as of Winter Event 2022.

The only Billys I see anymore are really good Hillbillies. Which I guess is both good and bad because, on one hand, new players turn away from him due to arguably outdated & overtuned nerfs and time invested vs. reward. On the other hand though, it's nice seeing him still have some juice left in that old chainsaw when it's in a skilled Hillybilly player's hands.

Running a nurse for 5 gens is probably the peak of my DBD career. It's all been downhill from there.
There was also the time I kept pulling survivors off of Gens post-phase one game with vanilla spirit. That one was fun for me, and terrifying for the survivors. Always satisfying to get those kind of plays with her and Nurse.

I for one enjoy map offerings and probably use them every other game unless I'm out (which is rare considering how much they pop up in blood web now and how easy and inexpensive they are to obtain). Until I hear of a better system to replace it, I don't see the issue with having them. Unless you're just eager to get dicked on by ######### map RNG and sent Eyrie over and over when you're just tryna "meme around" on Trapper. Or you keep getting sent to Midwhich on Surv. Then these people come to the forums and complain about map RNG sucks and realm selection algorithm is busted.
-
I'm sure people can find whatever reason for the decision. To me, the reasoning will basically amount to we're tired of hearing about this perk and its usage rate.

if No Mither let survivors start the game healthy but be broken for the rest of the match after being injured while giving a visual que to the team you are No Mither status but not letting the killer see you cannot be healed, that would be the best buff survivors ever saw in this games history. Don't sleep on No Mither. The reason its considered a team handicap right now is because it is shown to the killer from the start.
Imagine if this change were to take place the power solo queue would gain combined with the use of Resilience. This idea may be just a theory but I have a feeling it is very close to accurate.
The only time it would be bad is if the whole team used it.
Hey now, speak ya truth.

I'm just utterly bewildered by what this would result in:
Hit-'n-Run killers would become A-tier overnight
Nurse becomes even stronger
Oni can't hold all those blood orbs
Victor can't attach after the first hit
Myers' power is reduced to a slightly faster vault
Plague has virtually no power at all
So many perks are straight-up dead
I can't-
Oni players would be like: "None of you seem to understand. I am not locked in here with you. You're locked in here...WITH ME!" *Angry Oni Noises*

Meat Plant is more killer sided than survivor sided. Garden honestly isn't even that unbalanced now that they nerfed the bush collision. There's massive deadzones in front of the house, to the side of the house, in the street, the treehouse is one giant deadzone... honestly all they need to do is just put a breakable wall on the left of the upstairs window, like the ironworks and creek walls, and the map is fine imo.
With Garden, I believe the challenge many killers encounter is its massive size, which I believe in numbers is larger than Eyrie's iirc, and multiple safe strong loops are scattered throughout the map. Survs still have chase resources in and around the house, and a very strong chain of tiles that can form this backward "L" will stretch across the road pretty much from the shack to the jungle gyms and car at end of the street. The Game, indoor map and usually those are killer-sided, but in my experience an outlier to the rule and only certain killers will eat survs for breakfast while the majority of the roster is downstairs eating pallets served up by Chef WoO until it's time to go.

I do share similar sentiments to parts of your perspective (i.e. abundance of extremely well-synergized gen regression builds and many survivors lacking game sense). I'd also say that the game is suffering due to the behavior of the in-game community. Definitely some toxic things people do on both sides that have worked to push people away from playing and never wanting to improve since they don't enjoy the game.
-
Never, I wouldn't dodge even if it were a lobby with all 100s with toolboxes. I don't get the anxiety that so many others apparently do seeing these things. It's just like...ok...I'll bring Franklin's. I mean, its a perk that's specifically made for survivors that bring in items... Like, there's almost a whole ass minute in the game lobby to swap perks and add-ons if you need to make changes or aren't feeling confident in the build you brought in.
-
Killer: Hard to say, possibly when I first picked up Red Pyramid Thing. Can't recall if it was a SWF, but 3 had flashlights and one a sabo toolbox and all running old DH. I was just constantly missing shot after shot of PotD and getting juked by these players. it was just one of those games when you pick up a new killer and they really put you through the wringer. Get one down in the open and get blinded even after scanning the area before the pickup, or hook break in your face. There was a point of apathy set in between my 5% accuracy with PotD and missing basic attacks that looked like they'd hit but were jebaited.
Surv: Any game I've ever been in that involves the surv that did absolutely nothing all game working with the killer at the end to get the other person caught, and being rewarded with hatch.

It's a nice perk. If it still trumped stealth abilities, as it should, I'd take it over Bond. But I get more mileage out of the former by making me able to constantly observe the stupidity of my teammates.
Bond is great. I'm actually surprised It hasn't gotten a similar treatment because of how it works with a certain killer's perk.
