It should be removed from chest loot pools

If there's Bill from Left 4 Dead, is it possible to get Mom from Back 4 Blood?
-
Old Sarah Connor and the Rev 9 terminator from Dark Fate??

I'm mending way more often than I used to so it's just constant mending/game delay making the match go on for so long with very little reward. It's just wicked boring.
I keep hitting survivors, but they just keep running off and patching up with Circle of Healing. It's just wicked boring.
-
What if mending was optional?
You no longer have to mend, but Deep Wounds causes exhaustion
-
⬜️ Trapper
5 swings at the spinal cord. Same spot. 5 times
-
Even with Lightborn I will still quickly look away so the survivor chalks it up to mistiming and tries it again later, wasting more time.
-
Honestly... I would not be upset at all if the anniversary killer was Trapper 2.0 and the devs spent a whole killer development cycle reinventing The Trapper's power and mori animation.
----
Regarding suggestions from OP, I don't think the Trapper should have a higher carry capacity throughout the trial, but starting the trial with 1 extra trap would be nice. (Starts the trial carrying 3 traps, basekit, but cannot pick up more traps while carrying 2 or more. Trapper Bag addon starts with 4 and cannot pick up while carrying 3 or more.)
-
Starstruck + Agitation, if you want to manage mindgames, baits, and cooldowns.
OR
Lightborn + Forced Penance (or play Onryo and walk through bodyblocks), if you're lazy and just want to play mindlessly
-
This also happens to me on Xbox with different types of toolboxes across different maps.
Lately, I have been dropping and picking my toolbox up at the very start of matches.

If you can’t handle a game not going the way you want, don’t queue up. Uninstall the game instead of ruining it for 4 other people.
Maybe those 4 ppl will realize that they're ruining it for themselves and stop bullying just to be toxic? Who am I kidding. They won't.
Point being, if they're going to bully the killer out of the match then they don't deserve fun. Hell, some of them would be having more fun because the killer quit.

I mean, why is this even a thing, people stealing, your challenge, what an awful idea.
The Yellow Glyphs that tested the survivors' focus made it into the game a la Merciless Storm with the Onryo chapter.
If Green Glyphs are testing for a future killer perk or power, then, as the killer, you would hope it makes survivors selfishly fight amongst themselves.
----
Honestly, I hope they're testing a new totem mechanic, where they are not visible until the player is much closer to them.
-
New players do not simply start at 0 and work their way up. They start in the lower middle.
Getting matched with them will make it harder for you to escape, further dropping your rating, keeping you stuck with them. If you don't carry them out the gate then you're lucky to get hatch and tread water to keep your rating where it is.

80% of Legion run Discordance...
Once all y'all decide to finally hop on a gen, don't sandbag mine
-
You can have some of my Ghostfaces. I've seen too many.
It's getting to the point where I just stay on the gen, take the exposed hit, give up on hook, and move on.

Cool. So if the terror radius just started playing, I know for a fact I can finish my heal because I'm already half done when I started and with a 32m terror radius and a 4.6/m second speed at BEST he can get here in about 7 seconds, assuming a perfect straight line.
*Is injured again a few seconds later*

The challenge states, "They will be briefly revealed in the Endgame Collapse." Does this mean the glyphs only show up in Endgame?
No, I've seen them throughout the trial, as early as the first gen completed.
Only once have I actually seen the aura of a green glyph at Endgame, and it was as the camera panned behind me after I escaped.

16k - if that is true you have other problems :-)
THat is another example that the mmr is not working. It seems Sluzzy should get bad killers then - but obviously not.
Also had some rough games today. I only play SoloQ.
First ones i escaped - now i lost three in a row to a Legion, a good Nurse and Twins. These were not nice games.
The only problem is that I don't feel like opening up Steam, as well as opening up Stats for Dead by Daylight buried somewhere in my Xbox Profile, to add up my actual hours.
-
Thanks.
Putting his shirt back on.
-
I've died in so many matches
My MMR is so low that I had TWO Jakes who slow vaulted a pallet in front of the killer and were immediately downed.
I have 16,000 hours in the game and I get teammates who haven't completed the tutorial.
Solo q is stupid

Who is the gay survivor?? Not once is it mentioned in this thread...

I was working on this challenge as a survivor for an hour. Switched to billy and just ran around the whole match looking for 1 green glyph. Talk about destructive to fun matches, i'm queueing now to ignore everything but green glyphs. No rescues, no healing, no generators....damn i hate this challenge
It was the same for me.
Glad it's out of the way. Now I can move on to cleansing 10 totems and getting griefed by Nancys who use Inner Healing, despite not having seen anyone use that perk since Boon: Circle of Healing was released.

We'll Make It is a great perk but no setup? You need to make a hook rescue. There's only a finite amount per match. With CoH, unless the survivors cleanse all the totems, there will always be a totem to bless.
I do agree that removing CoH's self care will kill the perk. It needs to be brought in line but not the MoM treatment where it's soooo niche it's impractical.
I got Mettle of Man to activate, making the next hit against me negated, but it was too late; I was already being sacrificed
-
Five words:
- Dead
- Hard
- Circle
- of
- Healing
(Six, if you count "Boon" in Boon: Circle of Healing)
-
Run slightly faster, get stunned 4m away from the pallet

Cheating will always be a thing. It's an arms race.

Cenobite - Very Hard? Pfft...
We just got destroyed and they never used their power once

I'm gonna be honest I would hate that. Got a nice chain planned? Cucked by RNG. Survivors can't really plan around it because again it's random. Need a down? Sorry you didn't get lucky, and it'll feel worse because there was a chance.
There's a reason nobody likes RNG in Pig's power.
M1 during Feral Frenzy to apply Deep Wounds and continue chaining hits. M2 to attempt a down, applying Deep Wounds as normal if it fails.
This way you can still chain many hits if getting everyone injured is your goal.

Every time a new killer is released, there's people who want them buffed.
Ask yourself these things first:
- How much have I played this killer?
- Is there anything about my play style I can improve?
- Would practicing more make me better?
- Does this killer's abilities "click" with me?
Like, all I'm saying is that I'd like to see people give killers more time before requesting buffs. When something is entirely new, it's going to be more difficult for a while when playing against people who's been using the same stuff for years (because survivor basic playstyle stays the same so they have already perfected how they play it).
No amount of skill is going to reduce the 100 second cooldown to her "amazing pressure" (without addons).
-
Survivors repairing while holding tapes should double their Condemnation gain.
Right now, survivors can deny Onryo her power and safely sit on gens for 60 out of the 80 seconds they need to repair it before the TV turns back on.

@Sepex said:
I did get a 5 hit chain once for a down. It was quite satisfying.
Lucky...

@danielmaster87 said:
Make TVs actually face the gens, they should stay turned off for less time, and you should not slow down at all when going in and out of manifest/demanifest. That's the least they can do.
Yes!
This way, at least I'll know which way I'll be facing after a teleport so that I'm not screwing myself over by teleporting ahead of a survivor during chase.
----
I just want to vault a window at any time while demanifested... Why do I have to wait in line for the survivor to finish vaulting first??
It's not like I can manifest while vaulting and somehow end up fused with the survivor. Pls fix.

There's a reason nobody likes RNG in Pig's power.
Then, while we're at it, let's have the Cenobite's cube always spawn in the same spot; the Plague's starting corrupted founatin start in the same location for each map; the Pig's traps always take 2 attempts; the Trapper's traps always take 4 attempts; the basement always spawns at shack, if there is one; all the maps have the exact same tile configuration.
RNG bad.
-
It's far more common to chain 2 hits during a match, happening 10x in an average match. For 1 out of those 10x to be lethal is better than 4 exit gate teabags
-
I just got two more Glyphs, putting me at 3 out of 4.
Guess where I have found all 3 so far... Dead Dawg's Saloon.
I would have had the last one done too, but it spawned inside the watertank structure and did not have a prompt to interact with it.

You have to complete 3 generators before the green glyphs will appear. They are tiny, unlike normal glyphs, and they appear close to the ground, the same as totems do, in the spot where totems are.
You can hear them just like you would red glyphs.
I have yet to see any show themselves during EGC, but i have found all of mine really easily after the 3rd gen was popped.
I expect they dont spawn before the 3rd gen to prevent people from joining just for glyphs then DC. So just play the game like normal and after the 3rd pop, run around a bit to spots that totems could spawn. They are like little totem glyphs. Dont give up, its super easy. If anyone needs any help with this quest you guys are welcome to add me and Ill run a game with you to help!
This is not true.
I started looking for green glyphs as soon as I spawned into Dead Dawgs. I found the Huntress's hex totem and cleansed it. I got attacked and ran away. I got away and found Mikaela interacting with a green glyph. I could not stop her. I don't think a single gen was done yet, maybe 1 if any.
I ran back to the huntress and let her send me to the next match.
----
I don't know if the green glyphs are bugged, like people here think, or if it's just that someone else in your matches have been stealing them from you

But self care is 32sec as well at 50%, right?
Boon: Circle of Healing has two parts: First, it buffs survivors heal speeds by 50% (down from 75%). THEN it reduces survivors self-healing speeds by 50%.
100% is 1 charge per second = 16 seconds to fully heal another survivor
150% from CoH means 1.5 charges per second = 10.7 seconds
Half of that means it takes 21.3 seconds to self heal with CoH

I have also experienced this on Xbox One.
As seen in the clip below, I was playing on Haddonfield, with a common toolbox, without addons, and did not receieve a prompt to Repair With Tool Kit. (Also shown) After dropping the item and picking it back up, the prompt started to appear again.

In the lobby, for killer, hide survivor names and replace the survivors with generic silhouettes of their chosen character instead items included.
This way, the killer can still see which survivors and items they are facing, but cannot tell exactly who it is by name or by their cosmetics.
-
That's beside the point.
-
Tell that to the salty killer who just 1v1'd me

If the killer gets to know that they are facing a previous opponent again, give the survivor the same courtesy. Give survivors a prompt telling them.

Make totems like Commune Glyphs: invisible from a distance

Hex: Crowd Control is a Killer perk. Suggestions to buff killer perks should not be made, as it negatively affects the surviors.
Arguments againt the suggestion, no matter how deluded or irrational, will be upvoted and thusly ignored by the devs.

The End Game Countdown recognizes and adjusts for the survivor's benefit, slowing by half if a survivor is dying or hooked, but why doesn't it adjust for the killer?
The End Game Collapse exists as a mechanism to bring the trial to a guaranteed end in a guaranteed maximum period of time, not to give kills. It adjusts so that it is fit for purpose and exclusively for this purpose, nothing more and nothing less.
It doesn't do its job if cheaters can still take the game hostage
