So you'd honestly want to be on haddonfield with bl and a team of Insta exhaustion
That's more of a map problem because BL in Haddonfield makes certain houses infinites. Fix Haddonfield and you fix BL on Haddonfield.

So double dead hard/balanced landing inf/double sprint burst are you sure you thought this through
I rather take 2 exhaustion perks within a chase than to deal with 3 health states in my opinion

Why does everyone use him as an example on this forum lol.. he's subpar when it comes to some of the more talented killers/survivors
Tru3ta1ent is pretty knowledgeable, and he often knows what he's saying because he tests stuff out for the community. This is why people use him as an example because he's a well rounded person!
Also, this is just me:
I just like his positivity, and his ability to speak his opinion as a Fog Whisper. :)

Does someone have a shirtless Tapp? C'mon don't leave me hanging here!

You're wrong, though. It's precisely because the data was gathered in such a way that both the 60% and 80% are unreliable. You'd need a weighted average, which would tell you the (average) survival rate at ranks 1 and 2. That number is between 60% and 80%.
If you got the average of rank 2 and rank 1 survival rates (PC):
You get approximately 70% which is still very high. However, keep in mind that a lot of things changed from then so I suggest to not make conclusions on this number alone.
Is this what you're talking about Orion?

@NMCKE they say a lot of things all the time but constantly break their own rules/promises. What’s the exception here?
The developers seem really sticky about Legacy not coming back in anyway, literally.
However, don't get me wrong, I'm not against nor for the idea, I'm just stating the facts here.

With all due respect, OP is NOT asking for legacy. Only something of similarity value, please re-read.
I think @MandyTalk is saying, "Legacy is not coming back" like in... there won't be a reincarnation of Legacy, ever.

@DocOctober said:
No. Moris have been nerfed enough and your idea would make them pointless/not worth the cost.
Honestly, all mori offerings should lock your rank so you can't de-pip.
The Cypress Mori should be base tho.

I'm only rude when people continue to perpetuate lies between threads.
Like when people keep saying survival rate at rank one could be near 80% despite being told several times by devs that it's nowhere near that number, instead of assuming it's over 60%, which we found out today it's actually below 60% so everything they've said about survival rate is totally wrong and assumed.
I definitely understand, and I'm happy to catch you when you're in a good mood! I'm always nice to people, even when they aren't to me because politeness goes a long way! 😊
Back on topic, I'm just happy that we can agree on something without any conflict. The new Bloodweb changes will definitely make the game more bearable because you don't have to spend 24/7/365. However, I don't really have a stance on receiving Legacy after the changes, but it would be cool to receive some exclusive for us console players! :)

From the blogpost today, it looks like several changes.
"As the game has grown over the years, the number of perks has grown significantly as well. This can make it difficult for players with many teachable perks to find the specific perks they are looking for. As a part of an ongoing series of changes to address the progression of the game, we will be making a change to the way bloodwebs generate to improve your chances of finding the perks you want while also reducing the total number of bloodwebs required to unlock all perks. We are preparing a communication on this change (and more) which should go out towards the end of the month."
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/80354/
From the sounds of it requiring less bloodwebs to be maxed and making it easier for you to find the perks you want, I'm going to assume it's similar to my idea of multiple perks per web.
Thank you for your politeness, I appreciate that! 😊
Yeah, hopefully it's based off getting multiple perks per Bloodweb, that would be a great start! Also, I heard they might add a perk leveling system where you have to use the perks multiple times in order to level them up! :)
-
@Seanzu said:
No.
the game has been out 3 years, has had 2 years worth of events, 2 years worth of offerings that increase bloodpoints, 2 years worth of perks increasing bloodpoints.
Be grateful that it might bring in new players, or old players back that didn't have time to grind like some of us do.
I'm rather neutral about this idea as long as it's not the same type of Legacy from before.
Also, I wonder what this change can be? Do you have any ideas?

I don't believe Behaviour actually hates solo players or killers. I do believe that they don't have any team dedicated to fixing the imbalance between Solo/SWF/Killers, given how they have not made any progress in the area since they closed off the results screen until everyone was finished with the match.
In my opinion, this should have been prioritized since the day SWF had been implemented, given how it affects so many aspects of this game, from individual killers to perks.
Yeah, it's a bummer that they didn't close the gap yet. :(

Oh, I get where you're coming from, so I buffed Poised to compete against Dance With Me! I don't have a problem with buffing stealth perks because survivors don't have a lot of options of stealth currently! :)

This idea is brilliant!
Effectively making our leather boi dangerous to loop with his own trapped areas forming him into his own killer rather than a bootleg hillbilly.
Hopefully the devs take some notes from you. I love to see this actually get inputed into the game
Thank you for the positivity, but please, do you have any suggestions for my idea? :)
-
I feel like this would encourage more toxic behavior because if both teams are arguing and trash talking each other, you'll know they will bring their strongest stuff next game. For what I know, people don't take it lightly when they get destroyed by OP stuff such as insta-heals, mori, and so on.
-
I'm really interested on seeing the average amount of hooks in every game.
-
Deranking isn't bannable, but DCing is if done enough.

@Condorloco_26 said:
I don't see it happening. Because they would nerf her in some ridiculous way to "compensate".
Better buff her via adding lockers to every map.
And there was a suggestion some time ago (sorry for not remembering who had the idea), to let her stand on the tip of her toes to throw over some of those nasty waist high obstacles, pressing the secondary ability button/key. I found that idea quite interesting, really.
I heard 5% doesn't make much of a difference from what I been hearing.
Look at the math of two killers traveling 80 meters:
115% = 17.3 seconds
110% = 18.1 seconds

Insidious LF is back!

There's a reason why Dead by Daylight isn't the only game I play, or in fact, any game for that matter. Regardless of what game you play, you'll eventually get bored or frustrated.
Try taking a break or just play a different game for a while, ya know?

I’m not very good at giving advice aside from keep practicing but @NMCKE can probably help. :)
Use add-ons that cancel each other out, but leaves you the benefit you desire such as Dull Bracelet and Metal Spoon. You don't want to be left with a negative that you have to adapt to as you're playing Nurse.
You can also use add-ons that give you flat out buffs such as Fragile Wheeze, or some of the common add-ons, but make sure understand what they do to your blinks before you use them.
Also, accuracy negative doesn't really do much. The only time you should worry about accuracy is when you're using omegablink, but even then it shouldn't be much of a problem once you're experienced. :)

I had my friend PM @Rizzo90 about how Naming and Shaming works when this happens.
Basically, if I post something that has names while I'm not shaming them, but someone else does shame them because of their build. The person who's Shaming them would get in trouble, not the person who posted the names.
Also, I like the idea of revamping the props system! :)
-
@Awakey said:
Can confirm. Switched it out instead of SC. Never going back.
@Masantonio has been convincing me to take it, but I'm still hesitant because I don't know if it's really better than my current perk build. The perk isn't the problem, it's just that other perks outclasses Spine Chill in many ways.

Yeah. Gutting Freddy, Legion and Nurse based on low rank crying survivors seems really professional.
You can't hold the developers against their past, everyone makes their mistakes, including me.
Old Legion was busted because his power would eventually down without any say on the survivor's part. His update was requested by many members of the community to make him more fair, but admittedly, they did go a little too far with the update. However, that's okay, they can always come back to Legion later and work him out.
Nurse add-ons are really busted, and that's coming from a Nurse main. Omegablink and extra blink Nurse is not fun nor counterable. She needs an add-on update for the better health of this game.

@Frugl1 said:
I think at this point it is intentional. Audio was really good last patch, but that turned out to be a "bug".
The developers try their absolute best to make the game as fun as possible for everyone by adding new content, fixing bugs, and communicating to the community. You may think they go out of their way to ruin the experience of others, but in reality, they bust their butts off everyday.
Give the developers a break, the game improved a lot more within the last year. Obviously the developers are trying or else we would've been stuck with old DS, pallet vacuums, old Déjà vu, and so on. I couldn't ask for better developers, and sure, they aren't perfect, but they do try to learn from their mistakes. :)
-
Honestly, the Emblem System should stay for the survivors, but for the killers, it changes into a kill system:
0 Kills: -2 Pips
1 Kill: -1 Pip
2 Kills: 0 Pips
3 Kills: 1 Pip
4 Kills: 2 Pips

Considering that one of the biggest complaints in the game is the gap between solo survivor play and SWF, I don't think it's healthy if you NEED to be a SWF to escape against the Nurse.
Technically they are balancing around SWF because they are bringing solos to SWF level, then buffing killers to compensate.
Not saying Nurse is fine or not, just stating the facts.

I think killers are complaining because Dead by Daylight is an anti-social asymmetrical horror game. You're not supposed to communicate everything because information is power in this game. How do I know this? That's because there are perks that give you information such as bond, and SWF completely takes away from the unknown factor of the game.
Nothing against SWF players tho.
-
I have to disagree and agree with you there. While DS is great at giving you a second chance if you get farmed, you shouldn't need to equip a perk that covers up a teammate's poor decision. :)
That's why there are perks like BT so you can safely farm a teammate.
-
This can work, but there needs to be a condition so survivors cannot troll you:
- If you're within the killer's TR then you can press the "Run" action to kick survivors who are trying to unhook you.
- BT perk grants immunity to being kicked, so you farm safely.
-
Spend around $100 worth of Auric Cells, which is 10,000 Auric Cells.
I gifted $20 to @twistedmonkey because he's a cool dude, and I bought someone a copy of the game.
-
@se05239 said:
The only buff the perk needs, if any, is that the stun happen instantly which makes it impossible for the killer to grab you mid-animation. That's kinda it.
Someone agrees with me! :D
-
I always wondered why the killer could grab you, and avoid the entire perk. It's not difficult to react to a rushed locker action, and Head On doesn't change this.

@Condorloco_26 said:
- Whenever the case arises, drop YOLO unhooked people in order to deny Deliverance to hook farmers
- For those that legitimately obtained their Deliverance, you can slug and take the "broken" status as a 1 min clock. It's a very popular perk combo.
Your number 2 is so genius! :)
Like, why didn't I think of that?

Luck does not affect the chance of getting a good item from chests. I was confirmed by the devs. Lucky only improves your % chances at getting of the hook or releasing yourself from traps. It is a common misunderstanding that luck affects items, but it does not.
I thought they changed that?
-
@Awakey said:
I'm sorry but... Daddy Servers?😂
Don't think I wanna play DBD today because knowing my luck, I'll probably get a 20GB update too. :(
-
I really wanna see a new map that isn't in the middle of a forest, but in a huge city with buildings that you can go into! :)
-
I get this a lot, once survivors know I'm a good console Nurse, they start to DC or kill themselves on the hook. Then I feel bad and let a survivor leave because their chances of wins is drastically decreased. :(
