@slunder Good choice, BT has become a staple in my builds, since it punishes campers and tunnelers very well without being too op like DS. I'm glad I could help you mate :).
-
@slunder said:
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd oh, yea. Killer complaints about decisive are partially valid, but it pisses me off to think that these killers are using toxic survivors as an excuse to complain and get rid of a perk that counters tunnelers.
The difference between DS and BT is that DS actually punishes killers that don't tunnel and instead of being an anti tunnel perk, it's a 60 seconds of immortality perk. BT can't be abused like DS and is just a fun, healthy anti tunnel perk.

better to fix game berore realease money content
They probably couldn't do that, and I rather them not do it. If they did that, they would lose a huge chunk of the playerbase, and the game would get dull fast. If they fix bugs, more bugs will appear.
-
@slunder said:
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd well if killers complain about borrowed time, they are tunnelers. If the survivor is an aggressive hook rusher, it gives you the opportunity to start a chase immediately after.
I don't think borrowed time is OP, it's actually a very healthy perk to prevent tunneling and I think it should be basekit for survivors.

i do. what's your point? potential to end game at any moment in the game is okay for you? Any other killer has something that limits hem, and overheat should limit billy in this situation and it doesnt work
You can't end a game at any moment with Billy, if he goes for a infectious snowball and runs into a good survivor, they will loop him for days.

Steve and nancy were children. Sooooo.
Key word "were", Cheryl Mason was also a child once, also Billy Overbeck was a child at one point in his life, in fact all survivors were once children, let's just remove survivors.

If that exists I will have to get a therapist to help me with my child trauma and i can probably never play again. 😔
How would you feel if the human centipede was added?

if you go to a pallet loop his chansaw will cool down after 10s anyway so instant overheat won't hurt him anyway
You do realise that he can't use his chainsaw at pallet loops, if you're half decent. He can only curve at VERY specific loops, and if he chainsaws you at a loop, it's entirely your fault.
-
My main perk build has updated. Detective's hunch, inner strength, diversion and better together. Detective's hunch allows me to prevent hexes and NOED, it also combos with inner strength to give me tons of pocket healing. Diversion allows me to get a safe heal under a hook, just throw a pebble. Better together helps a lot, since I can tell team mates to stack on a gen with me in solo queue.
-
How about you go to a pallet loop? Problem solved. His snowball isn't that good.
-
Can you use paragraphs? I can't read this at all.

I really don't know why this mechanic is still here.
They even said that aim dressing can take hits from you.
Hag Is extremely difficult to play, because when I go for an instant teleport hit, I hit a stupid wall instead because of aim dressing.
-
God, I hope we get this stupid aim dressing fixed, it makes certain killers unplayable.
-
So you thought Bubba was ALWAYS OP? Bait.

Which is inevitalbe after being farmed in a bad position where all the pallets are used up, or when the killer uses Spirit with ######### volumes. The killer also shouldn’t be rewarded for trying to tunnel someone out if the game who obviously had no gameplay for an average 40 seconds of being on the hook.
Listen, I despise tunneling, but what is the killers objective? To kill, and tunneling is the most efficient way to kill, nobody complains about DS for being an anti tunnel perk.

Firstly you seem to be vastly underestimating how much of a difference that 4% speed can make. It's the difference between being able to loop so many tiles another time and, especially whilst unsure of if NOED is in play, can result in the down into hook into face camp.
Secondly, op was saying that if you believe noed to be fine and survivors need to just "do bones" then ds, unbreakable, and Bt are fine because you just need to "not tunnel or slug" .
4 percent speed isn't that much, it means you will get across the map faster by less than a second.

Ruin isn't even competition in the state it's in, but yeah Pop needs rivalry.
The funny thing is the CURRENT surge doesn't even synergise with pop, it just shows how afraid some members of the balance team are of making decent perks.
Surge shouldn't cause gens to explode, it should cause the haemorrhage status effect to anyone outside a 20 meter range. 60 second cooldown, hex perk.
-
While NOED is unhealthy for the game and isn't an ok perk, doing bones is a fair counter. If you have detective's hunch, do a totem after every gen, and you'll be helping your team a lot. Survivors don't need 4 perks.

How is doing that reward bad players? Explain.
Because, survivors shouldn't be rewarded for being hooked, and going down in a chase.

No killer is complaining about DS anti tunneling. They are complaining about DS 60 second invincibility. You could slug but most of those survivors also happen to have unbreakable. Literally no counterplay...

Hey why does this company treat their supporters poorly?! Brother bought a shirt from this company because he loved the game so much just to have him banned for “spamming” his ideas on this forum. Won’t be supporting this game anymore and will be burning his shirt and video taping it. Outrageous. Spend money on the game to have them do this...I mean it’s game where murder people with hooks for goodness sakes and guys can’t tolerate words? After we spent money on your merchandise!? Disgusting. Will. NOT be spreading good news about this game. Definitely will NOT recommend this game. His name was ninjadet
Rip Ninjadette :(.

Agreed, basekit wise, clown and wraith, add trapper as well, are the worst killers in the game
Trapper is probably the absolute worst right now, because his power can be rendered useless by OoO, maps and so much other things.

Claudette is the only survivor who can choose to bring a mori offering for her team
Especially those pink Clauds.

@Chicken said:
What if before the match the players could choose a map to play in and a map to block? it would go like this.
- a survivor can vote for a map and ban a map.
- The killer can vote for 4 maps and ban 4 maps.
- if votes cancel each other or nobody votes: a map is chosen randomly.
- the amount of votes don't affect how likely a map is to be chosen.
- players can't see which maps have been blocked by other players.
I would love to play on coal tower every game as killer :D.
-
Holy #########, that was good. I loved all the character development that you packed into 10 minutes. I really like Ace he is my favourite character, can't wait for the sequel. Good job Philip :D.
-
Nah, Claudette is the killer. She let me die on hook, because she wanted to self care in the corner of the map :(.
-
Too many teachable, too many perks. Just remove these dumb tiers, please.
-
Yeah, Oni and plague just outclass him right now. He needs some huge buffs.
-
This has been proven wrong, as space coconut has played 15 matches with a 4K, and he's still getting babies at hag, which is his main.

Um.

Not so much BBQ, more Infectious. The combo means they almost have map wide tracking, and a locker isn’t always nearby to avoid BBQ.
Infectious on these killers can be frustrating as solo because it’s not always easy moving out of the TR while they’re in a chase with someone else. So it’s the combo of Infectious plus their immense speed that’s problematic to me. A survivor is usually never further than a couple of metres from the notification if Oni or billy immediately head towards it.
Do you know that Oni loses 25% of his power when he downs someone? Also, I think infectious is fine, since it rewards a killer for downing someone, much like I think adrenaline and deliverance are fine because it rewards the survivors for doing their objective. Billy's chainsaw is really is to dodge, and looping him normally will always work. For Oni, he has less than a minute of his power, and your team shouldn't let him get that first hit so easily, pre drop every pallet and play safely.
Oni is supposed to be powerful in blood fury, even if he gets the infectious proc, you can do things against him, short loops, jungle gyms and long walls all counter him, because he can't demon dash and flick you there.

It's my favourite book series of all time, and I hope it comes to dbd. Which tower book is your favourite?

Anti gen perks. Surge, pop, surveillance and STBFL to aid in chases.

Stephen King is absurdly hard to get a license from, BHVR already tried and failed, so I doubt that if they did get the rights to one of his works they'd go for the Dark Tower instead of the much more iconic Pennywise or Jack Torrance.
The dark tower is iconic though, and they can make much more cosmetics.

So, go for 12 hooks agaisnt 4-5 minute gen speeds. That is your advice. Advice that you think is fair and balanced.
Don't listen to them. You can't argue with someone who has the third eye and infinite knowledge.

Still don't think I'm deserving to be #1 there are many better people out there.
Let me expand. You're genuinely funny and have made me laugh unlike most streamers. You actually interact with your chat, you don't have a huge ego, making the gameplay more enjoyable and making you more likeable as a person. That sounds like #1 to me.

So if the cooldown were removed for surge, and a killer downs 2 survivors in quick succession when the survivors have 3 gen’d themselves. That’s a total accumulative regression of 48% progress.
That doesn’t sound balanced to me at all.
Wrong, surge takes away 8% of generator progress, so 2 people downed in quick succession means 16 percent off of 2 gens, meaning a MAXIMUM of 32% spread across all gens, as there would only be 2 survivors left or even 1. It is the survivors fault if they 3 gen'd themselves.

That's funny because I would consider entitled, misguided, toxic, crybaby children to be the kinds of children who are misguided enough to think that they're entitled to only have killers that they want in the game and respond in toxic ways to people who want things that others enjoy and resort to crying like babies at the suggestion that Springtrap be added.
I don't think most of us are mad at the idea of springtrap being added, it's just these threads.
