Moving grass and louder footsteps would be great. Now survivors have to pay attention. This would make the stand still kinds useless because you can now tell where she is and do something accordingly
The stand still "tech" needs to go anyway, as it is the cheapest way to hit someone.

Tunnel by definition means what it means “You focus on one player ignoring the other 3”. Just because the game allows you to do it, doesn’t take away the meaning of it.
I don’t know about tunneling a gen, since you can’t technically chase it.
You have free will as to how YOU want to play. Just don’t be one of those DS crybabies that want tools like DS, nerfed but want to have this free will of tunneling whenever the opportunity arises. I say opportunity because I realize some people don’t tunnel, but the fact that the game allows you to do it means DS is fair game.
Because just as sometimes it is necessary to tunnel, it is sometimes necessary to prioritize a heal over a gen. Any smart survivor knows this.
So if I chase anyone, I'm tunneling, even if it isn't the unhooked survivor, because I am focusing on one player and not the other 3?

I seen that idea before It was really good. I just would rather her not be a guessing game or the counter being baby blueberrys.
Yeah, maybe you can also make her footsteps louder as well, or make the grass rustle, in case she fakes her direction. Survivors would be given lots of feedback.
-
Here's my favourite spirit change, that would make her more fun to verse, and doesn't kill her at the same time, otz came up with it.
Remember old Freddy? When you were in the dream transition, you could see glimpses of him. Maybe every 2 seconds, you can see a glimpse of spirit while she is phasing, this would also increase her skill cap, since spirits can do actual skillful techs, like faking their direction. Or you can give her blue scratchmarks when she's phasing, but I like the glimpses more.
-
As killer, deathslinger and blight. I started learning deathslinger a month ago, and he's too much fun once you learn him. I'm trying to learn blight as well, and he's a ton of fun :D.
For survivor, I main Steve and Ash, because I like their cosmetics.

Pyramidhead is getting nerfed despite him getting utterly stomped in most games.
The one Billy we saw had an incredibly dominating performance but for some reason all these people just panicking from the nerf and listening to the meta.
They never said that PH is getting nerfed though.

Unbreakable doesnt extend chase unless you're dumb enough to slug or tunnel. Dont like bt? Grab them off the hook or hit them down before and after they unhook. It's actually that simple.
Slugging is a near requirement against most good teams, and telling me to "don't slug" against unbreakable is telling me to lose the game. I don't think unbreakable is OP, just badly designed. Borrowed time is a fair perk though.

I can give you some statistics for solo. The only thing wrong with solo right now is the mmr.

I think 3x BP is a bit much but I won't complain because I'm Bloodpoint #########. But not limiting items because, as has been said so many times before, you can't limit people playing with their friends. If 4 man toolbox death squads want to play together they'll lobby dodge in solo until they find each other to do so.
Maybe just limit the addons so 4 bnp or syringes don't exist, not the items. This is only for 4 man sef though.

I've said it many times, and will say it again, the dark tower.

Otz was a class act at least, fitting of the name Gentlemen. He told chat afterwards that he was happy with third place. Considering his opponents, and wanting to show case other killers besides Nurse & Spirit like we got at the end there, I think he did great.
I have to admit I wasn't happy that he lost by them giving up on hook however.
The fact that suiciding on hook denies you points is beyond stupid to me.

By that logic calm spirit makes doctor useless, should it be nerfed too? OoO is strong against one killer, it's not a big deal, IW is stronger against more killers than OoO is. Should that be nerfed too? Give me a break.
You do realize I wasn't only talking about trapper right? I added on to it, saying it makes him useless as well. Give me a ######### break.
-
Also, the tournament scoring system is heavily flawed, because killing yourself on hook would actually help the team.
-
Fingerguns is one of the best dbd players out there is what I took away from this tournament. He managed to juke Ayruns nurse multiple times and ran him for a while, and made Ayrun lose a game. He is also an amazing nurse, and proved it with his consistent blinks. Agony should have won 4 hours before the tourney ended, but the DS bug prevented that.

No slugging allowed is hilarious. Hexy crippled killers scoring in many ways in this tournament.
Wait, slugging wasn't allowed? Hexy thinks slugging is toxic, but he allows camping, tunneling and noed?

Although I'm not against SWF as a killer....there needs to be some type of BP bonus or something the killer gains when going against a SWF.
I don't agree with being notified, guaranteed killers will leave the lobby.
I had an idea for this. The killer cannot depip when playing against swf, and gets a triple bloodpoint bonus in all categories. Only 2 items are allowed per swf.

If what is being said about ayrun definitely. Hes average as a player but cheating to catch a w is a little weird.

Yeah, fingerguns was by far the best player on the team and in the tournament as a whole.

Slenderman always felt like one of those urban legends to me, like when you visit a certain place and you see all that folklore about creatures. His design to me was just unnerving and mysterious enough to be effective as an actual monster. They also didn't include any of that "Hyper realistic blood" crap that stuff like Sonic.exe did. Also, I'm genuinely curious here but what are your thoughts on the dark tower movie?
I Hate the dark tower movie. All of the dark tower books together are over 4000 pages, and they make a movie an hour and a half long that was completely unfaithful to the books. The man in black wasn't scary in the movie, he seemed extremely corny. Idris Elba was a good roland. The dark tower movie is barely about the dark tower itself as well. I hate it, and I'm excited when an actual TV show gets made to do it justice.

short reply: perks shouldn't be patching core gameplay mechanics. It's a problem when they are.
Exactly, when the trial warmup or a secondary objective is added, then we can nerf pop.

So me getting a 3k 5 gens up and I close the hatch and use Noed to stop the adrenaline survivor with a key from opening it is me playing bad?
That's fine, but survivors getting all 5 gens done and coming back with noed is being rewarded for playing bad.
-
@RizeAki said:
Tbh same question can be asked about Noed
No, because adrenaline rewards survivors for doing well, and noed rewards killers for doing bad.

So you think his gas is not a power? Survivors go way out of their way to avoid it.
His gas is only good for slowdown, and the clown slowed down so much before his buff, that he basically didn't get any distance.

I am very triggered by the fact that you said Pop is one of the perks that "are balanced perks overall".
How the **** is a perk that basically adds more gens to the game because the developers can't figure out how to give survivors more ways to help themselves* survive beside doing gens an overall balanced perk??? I would link you to Pop threads, but the search function is critically not functional (same goes for finding past comments), so I'm left here just fuming in this post unable to find the backup that exists just out of my reach.
*(can't find the post about giving pallets an un-tethering interaction either. In summary: chase resources can't be used without a little prep time from the survivors. It also prevents survivors from wasting valuable pallets (eg. shack pallet) if the survivor hadn't set them up beforehand.)
20 seconds of extra gen time with one survivor working on a gen isn't an extra gen. It rewards the killer with gen regression for hooking someone, and we all know how imbalanced gen speeds and map sizes are in dbd. Pop is a fair and balanced perk, that killers use to patch the gen times in dbd, because kicking gens in dbd is inefficient without pop.

That wouldn't work. Without timer, survivors will abuse it by forcing killer to chase them. You only need to run in front of killer to initiate chase, so some people can literally have unlimited invincibility. Pair with UB it'll be extremely broken.
The killer controls who he chases, you can simply look away from the survivor to not initiate the chase.

Yes, very much! I think he's in a good spot after they completely removed his cooldown. Even that was questionable.
How was it questionable? Before his cooldown, he was slowed so much, that he basically didn't have a power.

Most recognisable Stephen King works fit under "movies," Slender is well known as a "game." The entire "other" section was just a weak way to shoehorn SCP in.
No, Stephen King works fit under other licenses, because they are books.

I don't even care if it would be OP, I always wanted a shotgun as survivor, I could shoot spirit >:)

Shocked you never said haddonfield lol
Temple of Purgation is actually very good for killer if you guard a 3/4 gen. Once you get rid of the pallets in those areas it's pretty easy to win.
Also the Game is pretty good for killer and survivor honestly. Now that the meta of Ruin and Hex: Undying is here the Game map is even stronger because of the totem placements.
I think the game map is pretty survivor sided, if survivors know how to run it. Size does not mean the map is killer/survivor sided (besides mothers dwelling, that map is too big). The amount of safe pallets on the game map is pretty crazy and reminds me of old blood lodge.

That's not how it works. There's a skillcap but she's still the most powerful.
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd You forgot to add the all seeing add on vs survivors that weren't healing on a small map.
Even with the all seeing and windstorm add-ons, tournament survivors should never lose against a wraith.

Movie licenses:
F13: 3/10. Jason is the most bland killer in horror history and the movies are boring and repetitive, a camp crystal lake map would be cool though.
IT: 9/10. The only reason it isn't a 10, is because I would rather have the dark tower or the stand. Pennywise and a sewer map would be absolutely amazing, the books and movies are amazing and instantly recognizable as well.
Candyman: 5/10. Tony Todd is a great actor, but the movie was very, very tedious to me. I like the concept of a hook handed killer, but the movie bored me too much.
Video game licenses: the only one I know is fnaf.
Fnaf: 0/10. What can I say? It's the most cheap, bland, and by the numbers horror game out there, that relies heavily on jumpscares, with a overly convoluted lore.
other:
More Stephen King licenses: 10/10. So much options, the dark tower, the shining, doctor sleep, the stand, the outsider etc. I think these could work better than IT.
SCP: 9/10. I love SCP, but some of the creatures are just dumb, like a soda can, really? Anyways, the shy guy, the old man and the plague doctor are all pretty well written and could fit into this game.
Slender: 9/10. The only "creepypasta" that seems well written and interesting. I don't know why I want him so much, but they could do so much with his power.

Oh okay, yeah i was just curious and really he's related to Pennywise?
Yes, they both have "the deadlights", some people even think the crimson king and pennywise are the same person. Another creature close to the end of the dark tower called Dandelo is also related to pennywise. Dandelo feeds off of laughter instead of fear, and his true form is an insect like pennywise. Also, Dandelo owns a robot called "stuttering Bill" a reference to Bill from it.

Okay whats this?
The crimson king from the dark tower series. He is a relative of pennywise, who can shapeshift. He also appeared in the novel insomnia, he shapeshifted to a catfish human hybrid. SPOILERS: By the end of the dark tower, he goes insane when he is trapped on a balcony of the tower. His true form is an old man who throws grenades from the tower. If feel like since blight looks and walks similar to the king, it can be a cosmetic for him.
-
The game isn't that survivor sided, however disturbed ward is a very problematic map.

Yeah, the camping and tunneling part of this game is the reason I don't invite any friends to play this game, and it's the reason the friends I've made in this game no longer play.
Thank you BHVR.
Exactly why DS needs to be basekit. The timer shouldn't go down in a chase, you should be able to use it EVERY time you get unhooked, and the timer shouldn't go down while slugged as well. However, DS should deactivate if you touch a gen, fully heal, or when someone else is hooked.

I guess thats fair I wanna see a flick in action though so I guess I shouldn't make bold claim just yet. But that's the thing with his flick could potential become too strong thats my fear at least. Combine that with his speed at filler pallets I could see not much options to dodge it. You are right about being able to react to it. He actually has a telegraph which is cool. Compund 21 needs a rework definitely.
I guess it would too strong if it was a ptb oni type flick, but you should be able to at least turn 90 degrees on a controller with it. If a survivor is in front of me, I should be able to lunge left or right as well.
-
Nobody will play perfectly, and most killers actually have counterplay. I think deathslinger is fair in the chase besides his ads spam (just remove his ads spam and I'll be fine). I love playing deathslinger personally, and people don't know that dropping pallets early will pretty much always counter him. I think spirit is pretty problematic though, as there is literally nothing you can do against her in a chase.
-
Literally the only change I want is a nerf to faking his power, and a buff to his actual punishment to make it easier to hit.
-
@azame said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1619214#Comment_1619214
That's the thing if he gets a flick the speed has to get toned down. The speed with compound 21 is rediculous. And I've also seen people do some insane turning.
You can do some OK flicks if you use mouse and keyboard, but I play him on console, and he can pretty much only hit in a straight line, which is terrible. If he gets a better flick and keeps his speed, he would be fine, since you can still loop him, and you can always react to what he can do. He can outplay some loops like shack, if he bounces off of trees. Compound 21 should have a large downside though, like decreased speed.
-
The meta has changed multiple times already. Self care used to be used in 70% of matches and people actually healed back then. Survivors used to abuse sabo when the game first came out. Mettle of man went from extremely overpowered to a meme perk. People want bad perks buffed, sloppy butcher used to be a ######### perk, as it only applied haemorrhage, but look at it now.

Blight is pretty fun to verse maybe rework compound 21 and nerf the speed just a bit.
I think the speed is fine, his power is pretty hard to hit, with lots of counterplay. Compound 21 is ridiculous though, have to agree. I think he should have a flick to his power though.
