or just do bones.
When have hexes ever been a threat? Most of them spawn next to generators or open areas
Go play soloQ.
Record your first match, show me how easy it is to find all totems without detectives or small game.
-
Your discussion history shows you are terrible at killer.
Git gud.
-
I dare you to play soloQ for once in your life and see how easy it is to know that all totems are done.
Until then don’t make stupid threads.
-
They should just add a prop hunt game mode

I am always solo. Doesnt take from the fact you can learn the maps, use your eyes or use items/perks... stop asking for things to be handed to you, survivor is already easy so no totem counters shouldn't exist by default
You’ve spent the whole game destroying 4 dull totems (you’re already a terrible teammate but it’s about to get worse).
Are you now going to spend the rest of the game searching for 1 more hoping that a teammate hasn’t already cleansed it. Or are you now going to actually be useful, and then NOED activates anyway because you have no idea if all the totems are done. So all that time wasted is for nothing.
-
Wow.
If this isn’t some sort of joke then damn them 4+ years didn’t teach you much

You didn't get the point of my post right? Did you?:D If you wanna improve your ego by posts like that, you're reach it:D
I understood clearly, you’re blaming the balance of the game for losing when in reality you’re bad at the game.
And your point about comparing perks is stupid, killers and survivors are completely different roles so they don’t need equivalents. By your argument, survivors should also have a perk like ruin which automatically progresses gens when not working on it? Ah yes it sounds ridiculous now doesn’t it.
-
Ah yes the game is impossible for killers at high ranks.
Oh wait, there are people that are getting huge win streaks as killer and that’s without any perks or add ons at the highest rank in the game???? They must be hacking then.
Git gud.

ah, that old kid's excuse when they get called out "it was just being sarcastic"
I mean anyone with more than 3 brain cells could figure out I was being sarcastic. But nah you’re clearly right, keep following that way of life. It isn’t easy being a DbD killer

You're dismissed by facts and logic and now you're trying to keep your face by being a cheap joker. Lmao
Nothing was dismissed, you clearly couldn’t tell that my first comment was a joke and I was being sarcastic. And now you’re still arguing over a joke. Stop taking this game so seriously. Live a little
-
They could go, but aren’t they gonna be using it for the monthly rank rewards?

"Imagine actually replying to each one individually 😂 it was a joke, this just proves how ridiculous you are though."
Imagine using imagine when you have nothing else to say or saying "iTs a jOkE" when you see you can't win the argument. That's pathetic tbh, but thanks for proving me right by not arguing, since usually I have to waste time to prove fanatics something.
" DS was changed multiple times before, did that mean this change wasn’t needed either?"
First change was a nerf, yeah, but then it got reworked into 2019 version (and also buffed heavily, like stun increase and removed enduring interaction) which got nerfed just recently.
You clearly don’t understand jokes and sarcasm. Take a deep breath and relax, go outside and enjoy the sunshine.
Being a DbD killer isn’t a way of life, you’re allowed to view things from other perspectives.

>ruin,
addressed twice, got a bunch of indirect nerfs.
>noed,
addressed twice, got a lot of indirect nerfs with an addition of antitotem perks, has an insane amount of counterplay.
>bamboozle,
needs no fixes, because without it some killers would be unplayable, especially on certain maps.
>haunted
Is that really a problem?
>corrupt,
a minor inconvenience, usually a waste of a perk slot to make survivors spend additional 30 seconds to find another gen
>tinkerer,
problematic only on a few killers and only with pop, perhaps needs some addressing, though it is fine overall.
>pop,
got addressed recently.
>infectious.
not problematic, can be avoided.
Imagine actually replying to each one individually 😂 it was a joke, this just proves how ridiculous you are though.
Also DS was changed multiple times before, did that mean this change wasn’t needed either?
-
Ah yes the classic killer responses, blame the survivor for a mistake by the devs.
When survivors had a spot where they couldn’t be hit at all, was that a mistake by the devs? Or is it an oversight from the killer, they clearly shouldn’t have chased them in that direction of course.
Logic.

That's only one meta perk brought back on the ground.
Imagine if they addressed other overused perks.
Yes they really need to address ruin, noed, bamboozle, haunted, corrupt, tinkerer, pop, infectious.
-
Survivors can get their rank carried by being in SWF.
Killers can get their rank carried by tunnelling and camping.
I doubt any of these will be changed by MMR
-
I’ve seen the killer quite often tbh, they just don’t get many kills

Oh I've played Rocket League, it used to be my main game until I discovered Dead By Daylight.
Well then you don’t need much of an introduction to it. Personally I don’t think any game comes close to it despite how simple it is
-
If a killer avoids camping and tunnelling even though they are losing and don’t get a kill, I always offer the kill

@BubbaDredge said:
Here's what you can't understand:
THEY DON'T WANT TO ADDRESS THESE THINGS, THEY ARE ADDRESSED IN THE RULES!
Tunneling, facecamping, teabagging, slugging, sandbagging, body-blocking, these are all specifically addressed in the rules, and THEY ARE PART OF THE GAME.
You can use perks to stop them, you can play to counter them, but THEY ARE NOT AGAINST THE RULES, THEY ARE PART OF THE GAME. You can either play against them or don't, doesn't matter, THEY ARE STILL PART OF THE GAME.
it's an important distinction, I'm not saying they are technically allowed, I'm saying they are SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED AS BEING ALLOWED.
TLDR: THEY ARE PART OF THE GAME
THEY ARE PART OF THE GAME.
That is the dumbest argument ever. God loops were part of the game. The last DS was part of the game. Moris were part of the game. Old BNP was part of the game.
Just because something is part of the game doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be changed. By your logic the game should be exactly how it started without any patches because ‘It was all a part of the game’

ofc you cant run a experienced killer for that long but some streamers like Tru3 say good killers would always get god survivors and a high ranked killer wouldnt have fun bc it would be too stressful playing against god players every game. but not only tru3 think like that, there are a lot people who dont want a mmr.
i dont know what happens, but i will quit when something doesnt change when it comes to matchmaking.

Sure. But in order to take an advantage from the killer, they have to take one from survivors as well. It's only fair.
This patch literally just had a huge survivor nerf, and two killer buffs.
Does that mean they need to compensate by having a huge killer nerf and two survivor buffs then...

I guess you also think that 2+2=5

Which only proves my point
What point is that? Devs don’t fix things if it benefits killers? So they must be killer sided by your logic.
-
Try playing rocket league. The percentage of games where you have fun is around 99.9%. Dbd doesn’t care about fun.

Answer my question first.
Or, I'll do it myself, since you seem to be incapable of doing that.
>So does the blight camera change.
Something that was supposed to be done after PTB, was done only 7 months later.
>And the wraith buff.
Took years after Wraith's last noticeable change.
>And removing maps that prevented survivors being hit.
A rare exception.
I would also like to remind you about DS nerf that took 2 years. Pallet vacuum fix that took 2 years and so on.
I just told you something that hasn’t been sorted for the ENTIRE lifespan of the game which benefits killers.
I don’t wanna question your math skills but I’ll make it easy for you. That’s much longer than 2 years.
-
@Profezia said:

How long did it take?
And killers still get server advantage when ping is high, has been there the whole game. So does that mean killer benefits last longer?

Ah yes May 2020, over a year later and it’s still on the backburner with no fix in sight. Meanwhile I’m sure Blight will get a flick fix real soon.
It’s easy to see which side gets priority if you look at the past 4 years. Heck they’ve admitted it themselves that survivor side is a priority. Afterall its why most people play DBD
Yes the DS nerf clearly shows how survivor sided they are.
So does the blight camera change. And the wraith buff. And removing maps that prevented survivors being hit.
Please devs revert all these back otherwise it shows how survivor sided you are.
-
It’s probably because pallet stuns are bugged. This is affecting survivors much more
-
This forum is such a joke and just loves to blame everything when in reality they are just bad at the game 😂
OMG all the survivors have readied up, that’s a clear sign of SWF, no wonder I lost.... if you get carried to high ranks by caning and tunnelling, of course you will get destroyed by good players
-
Yes remove them and have them be a solid wall instead, great idea
-
From a survivors point of view all the god pallets are usually bad too apart from shack. You’re forced to either get hit or drop the pallet which once dropped creates dead zones. Other pallets can be used to waste much more of a killers time
-
Yes breakable walls suck, they should replace them with upright pallets instead.
-
So you say people on console shouldn’t complain because the platform wasn’t intended.
Then you try and defend J flicks even though it wasn’t intended.
Lmfao, the lack of brain cells in this forum never fails to astonish me
-
Omg booohoo why do killers get to attack but survivors don’t omg it’s so unfair
-
@_HN_ said:
The reason why is because of the MMR, so it's kinda understandable.
That said, to equalize things up, surivivors shouldn't be allowed to fast swap items last seconds like that tbh.
Killers can see the survivors before the game begins.
Are you sure you want to equalize things up?

If i understand this right you don't play killer, do you? You can hit the killer with palettes, use breakout out of lockers, flashlight save/blind and good old decisive strike, which everybody uses, so in actual fact there are a ton of way to "hit" the killer back and once survivors get to purple ranks, believe, they are pretty good at it.
Yes I do play killer and I know that if I tunnel someone there’s literally nothing they can do about it

The comment it was in reply to stated every multiplayer game aside from DbD treated tunneling as an issue. I chose to keep my reply within games I have first hand experience in. I would have added F13, except each Survivor there only had one life, so tunneling actually didn't happen, as it couldn't.
Have a nice day.
Regardless it’s still a ridiculous comparison.
Have a nice day too.

Is that the entire argument you've got?
Tunneling happens in every multiplayer game. It's only incessantly whined about in 1.
I wasn’t arguing about anything. I was just laughing at one of the most ridiculous statements I’ve seen in this forum. And that says a lot 🤔
-
@AsherFrost said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2069865#Comment_2069865
I'm tunneled fairly consistently in Overwatch as support, yet it's not considered a flaw there, if anything it's a failure of my team to properly protect squishies, same as in WoW when I was tunneled in BGs, wasn't considered a flaw there. Battlefield 4, not punished in any way whatsoever. What games do you mean?
Lmfao imagine comparing tunnelling in dead by daylight to over watch 😂. In overwatch can you shoot back and can your team shoot back? Or do none of your teammates have guns like the other team 😂
-
The problem is that the devs are too thick to realise it’s a problem. All they need to do is have mechanics that prevent face camping and tunnelling which makes the game so much more fun for nearly all survivors. They can then increase gen times or add other objectives for survivors which will then make the game more fun for killers.
Imagine how much bigger the playerbase would have been if they did this from the start
-
If you’re a killer - blame balancing, MMR, come to forum to vent.
If you’re a solo survivor - blame balancing, MMR, ######### teammates, come to forum to vent.
If you’re SWF - MMR, ######### teammates, come to forum to announce quitting the game
-
Can a console player do this I flick? If not it shouldn’t exist

As I said, both of you cannot even comprehend the point of the post.
Not surprised at all.
Care to explain why you hardly ever see Blood Pact, For The People, Mettle of Man, or Sole Survivor? (Leaving out Object)
It seems like both of you are too stupid to figure it out so I'll explain it to you.
They are all terrible perks much like Decisive Strike is now and why there is an increased amount of non obsession games.
That’s exactly what I said, actually equipping the perk is bad because you hardly get the effect from it.
What you do get an effect from is by having an obsession in the game but that doesn’t mean you have to equip DS.
So how am I not understanding when I said the exact same thing as you lol
-
@Tizzle said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2065779#Comment_2065779
The true value of DS was and still is guaranteeing an obsession in the match to deter tunneling someone straight out of the game.
Not sure how some people can't seem to comprehend this.
With the DS nerf there are now more games without an obsession and that's a problem.
There are many other perks that put an obsession in the game so that’s not value from DS
-
@MarcoPoloYolo said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2065679#Comment_2065679
I disagree. If they're hiding, they're not doing gens, and corrupt has prevented the gens from being completed before I find the first survivor. This increases the odds that I get into a chase at about the same time as gen progress begins, whereas it would have happened before. The result is value by warding off the worst case scenario, but it's less value than ideal.
Okay then explain what value you get from equipping DS if you don’t get to use the stun?
-
@MarcoPoloYolo said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2064470#Comment_2064470
That's like saying that if survivors hide for several minutes in a match, that you're not getting corrupt value because they never attempted to finish to do generators early game. You got value, it's just not the maximum possible value. Depending on how much the animation of escaping in, we're talking about 16-20m of distance, which should take the average killer 30-35 seconds to close if all the survivor does is hold shift+w, not even counting reaching loops. If you're annoyed at tunneling, and want to punish the killer for chasing you off of hook, DS is the way to go. Oh yeah, and it's a disgusting endgame perk still since it's a guaranteed escape if the gate's 99%.
DS needed this change. If you look back on the wiki originally, when it was a flat second-chance perk it could be mitigated by enduring, and skill check builds could counter it. Ever since it became a "anti-tunnel perk" the perks killers could bring to counter it no longer could, but it got that ridiculous timer with 0 context causing it to potentially be better than the earlier iterations since it was still basically a second chance perk, but lacking any counters. This also caused it to effectively be an insanely powerful slowdown perk in favor for the survivors since the killer would be forced to slug even if it wasn't the best scenario to. DS needed this change, and good riddance. I can see some elements that could be changed (like self-healing not canceling it), but yeah, it's still a strong perk. It's just not in the category of "so stupidly powerful, you'd have to be stupid if a team with 3-4 loose with it."
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2064926#Comment_2064926
That's not just tunneling, but BHVR's flawed design process. Core issue with game? Sell a perk that deals with the flaw instead of changing the base mechanics of the game gradually as the problems appear. Not enough perk slots for this to be dealt with? Want unique builds that don't cause you to loose because of said core game flaws? Too bad. Other than exhaustion perks and iron will, survivor meta perks tend to be the ones that deal with core issues. The killer meta perks tend to be slowdown or slugging perks because of the gen vs chase time issues. The exception for killer being information perks to give themselves more map awareness.
Yes if you run corrupt and the survivors hide for 2 mins and during that time you find no one. Then no you didn’t get any value out of corrupt at all. But the difference is how often does that happen, not even 1% of the time.
