Yeah it’s horrible, with old Ruin I could barely see the skillcheck, thank god they changed it.

EA may release crappy games, but at least theirs aren't on BHVR's level in terms of buggyness.
Anthem was the definition of unplayable yet EA released it even with the bad feedback from the Beta. All they care about is money

I personally love them, they look better and have a better atmosphere. It’s a nice balance for both sides.
However I do dislike Midwich, love the look but looping is dam awful, empty rooms and long hallways. Plus it’s dam dark.

LeatherFace and Billy, Chainsaw life

No Mither is basically Unbreakable with the Broken Status effect, why change it? Why can’t Unbreakable be the same and No Mither have increase Recovering time?
-
I’m the other way round, I really enjoy Survivor, every killer is different which means every chase is different. I like the adapting aspect of survivors.

What? If you're working through Ruin then the killer's Pop is disabled. You can't kick a regressing gen.
He meant old Ruin, new Ruin regress gens whereas the old Ruin regress a tiny bit when survivors hit a good skill check.

Spirit has lots of Pros, the only negative is that she’s dam slow without her power.
Legion has lots of negatives, tiny knife, running simulator power, fatigues a lot, no anti loops, kind of rubbish add-ons etc. The only positive is that they have a bunny skin
I recommend Legion

- Yes, it's been collecting data on you for months now in the background so that you can start off with an MMR that's accurate to your skill level. However, if you haven't played much in that time, it might not have a lot of data to go off, so it's possible your rating is still settling.
- A new player shouldn't be matched against very good players after winning a single game. However, as was made very clear in the update post, red ranks does not necessarily equal good. There are a lot of red ranked players whose skill level is on par with a green or yellow rank, but just play the game so much that they get to red ranks just because pipping is easy and not particularly reflective of skill. Point being, a new player might get matched against a red rank and it might look unfair, but it's possible that red ranked player is actually way worse than their rank would suggest, so it's more balanced than it looks. That said, if someone does get matched against someone way better or worse than them, their MMR will be adjusted accordingly based on how they do in that game.
- Barely anyone knows, and those who do aren't allowed to reveal that information.
- I honestly don't know. My assumption would be that maybe they just haven't gotten around to it yet. It could be a change that's coming in the mid-chapter patch.
- Speaking of changes that are coming with the mid-chapter patch, this is one of them (as explained in the recent update post). The MMR system is enabled on xbox, but currently I believe you should still have the same MMR for all your killers.
I appreciate the time you have spent on answering my questions so thank you :). I suspected Ranks don’t matter, It’s definitely daunting when a new player sees the end table filled with Red Ranks. I’m glad the system has been collecting data and understands the difference between a new player and a experience player.

Sorry guys for the unclear pics, it wouldn’t allow me to upload original pics.

Wouldn’t it be easier if survivors met in a lobby together and be sent to offering screen and for the Killer to be sent to the offering screen instantly instead of the lobby? That way survivors can’t “cheat” and it’s all a surprise for everyone?
-
I haven’t seen a “Nerf Myers” thread in ages
-
I don’t see the point,
- It takes time to even write a sentence when using a controller
- It’s just going to be people trash talking, especially one person going on a tantrum.
- If you do want to say something nice, you can always send a message whilst searching a game since it takes long to find a game on console.
-
When you play as a new killer, don’t focus on winning, just have fun. There’s no stats that show your win/loss so why would it matter if you lose? As long as your learning and having fun with the new killer then it’s all good. Example I learnt LeatherFace when I was in red ranks, I lost a lot of games but now I’m better with him and he has been added to my arsenal of killers

The swamp maps are awful

I see. It may not be the best idea, but it’s definitely not fair to leave this issue alone. I get it’s a wise survivor defense, but it honestly just makes the game boring for killers. It makes me want to hook camp them when I finally get them just to show them how it feels to play against a stubborn player. (I mean no offense to anyone reading this that uses this maneuver)
”Stubborn” I’m stubborn because I have more experience on loops.....
Let’s add a cool down on my vaults, please explain to me what I can do at a LT tile?
-
For the pig I would like to see every survivor to start with a bear trap or at least make it a pink add-on. However, make it where Amanda cannot see her Jigsaw boxes, it shouldn’t be important to know where each boxes are.
-
Hawkins is easy, it’s my favourite map
-
Killers that don’t have gen pressure are bad apparently. With that logic that means Demogorgon is S tier loool
-
I overheated while chainsawing, picked the survivor up, went to a hook, hooked the survivor, 3 seconds later my Chainsaw is back off cool down. Such a strong nerf.
-
For the Xbox the running button is the skill check button, wouldn’t work on console
-
Leather Face is good though, only this community believes he’s crap
-
I had a chase with a Killer, he showed signs that he was new to Freddy. Eventually he caught me however that cost him 3 gens. He gave up and slugged me throughout the whole game till I bled out. I have high respect for Killers as I started as Killer but people who play like this Killer makes me sick.
-
If you get chased first and go down you already lose 50% of the perk’s value. If you get off the hook and get tunnelled well you lose all of the perk’s value.
-
What else do you want them to do?
-
Never rated Nurse anyways
-
People overreacting, just like when they announce Inner Strength, Second Wind, For the People and Breakout for being “broken and op”. Don’t get me started on Any Means Necessary
-
I only play Nancy as she’s beautiful and my future wife, don’t disrespect her at all.

I just played on the PC version since from maybe a year+ ago...wow I didn't think it would be that much different to playing on the XB1X...it's crazy how much smoother the game actually is, i don't understand why, I kinda get the game was made for PC but when games can run at 4k 30fps on the 1X how is it that hard to make Dead by Daylight at least 60 fps, not to mention I didn't have any stuttering issues either. If they had Cross-save i'd be on PC tomorrow. I guess they don't wanna bother spending their precious time optimising the game for Xbox?
Don’t blame the Xbox X, it can run 4K 60 FPS, e.g. Gears 5 for me is hella smooth and sharp. It’s up to Behaviour to allow the One X & PS4 Pro to run 60 FPS. Not everyone has the One X or Pro so It’s simpler to do the bare minimum and run it 1080p with 30fps

As someone who does solo almost all the time, it’s a horrible experience but not impossible to pip. The problem for me is knowing what pallets are used, it’s horrible running towards a loop only to find out the pallet is gone, that’s life or death situations. I have to extend each chase as long as possible, I know it takes 80 seconds to complete a gen, however, for some reason in solo it takes 60 seconds for a survivor to find a gen, mostly likely because they’re self-caring in the corner of the map. Also Kindred is a very crucial perk.
-
Camping + Tunnelling Wraith with Ebony Mori is worse.
-
I disagree, gens hidden from view of site can help killers sneak up, especially those sneaky killers

Legion: Nurses, Pop, Thana, M & A, BBQ, Bamboozle

I’m so happy Not Queen said my name 💝
-
It wasn’t pointless at all, my heart skipped a beat when Not Queen said my name and my question
-
Lol
-
Play with friends? Don’t worry! You won’t find a game because all the Killers dodging lool
-
Most Killers have to mind game to get a reward whereas Spirit you can stand still at a loop and get the same reward. Not saying she doesn’t take “Skill” however her skill cap isn’t high.
-
In theory, if they did turn it into a Hex Perk the devs would increase the % numbers significantly. Food for thought.
-
What encourage you to nerf Gen efficiencies instead of increasing Gen times?
-
I play solo though...

Removing infinites = baby mode? What?
You do realize that survivors are getting some things in the map reworks too, like a window to exit out of the Thompson House on the second floor, right?
You can easily counter it, just wait at the stairs lol
-
Majority of the time I use either no add ons or brown add ons
-
Honestly the perks that you’ve listed do exactly what they do (except Cruel Limits that’s a bad perk). Windows and Zen Tactics help new players and Lithe still gives you a sprint burst after a fast vault.
-
I don’t know why people can’t adapt to the game, the game will always change no matter, just adapt and move on.
-
Very good change, there are scenarios where survivors are too far apart and you’re force to cancel FF to start a chase
-
Bit late to the party, you must be using Internet Explorer
