And Discordance is better than before. Not sure how the final Discordance change was bad.
-
Personally I find them disappointing as well. If I want to play a Killer which pounces, I use Demo.
And Charlotte is an M1 only Killer anyways.
-
Waiting for an injured teammate to come to heal them for points.
Waiting for the Killer to come to give hits and extra chase points.
Waiting for injured teammates with a Killer behind them to bodyblock.
Waiting injured for teammates so they can heal you for points.
Or just being a toxic piece of *CENSORED*
-
I would play both equally, well actually I do. During daytime I play more Survivor since the queues are shorter and when nighttime/evening hits where survivor queues become horrendous, I start playing Killer since I don't care enough to sit in a lobby for 5 minutes.
-
Best and strongest Perks would probably be:
- Hex: Ruin
- Hex: Undying
- Stridor
- Barbecue and Chili
No need for explanation really, Ruin and Undying are nuts on stronger Killers, Stridor counters the only real counter to Spirit (Iron Will) and BBQ shows Auras, you can phase directly to someone. Another Perk which I could recommend would be Sloppy Butcher. Healing against strong Killers is a necessity, otherwise you go down really fast. So this fact makes it a good slowdown Perk, and if they decide to not heal, they are very vulnearable since you have Stridor to track them down very easily.
If it isn't for the Bloodpoints, I'd say that you should use Sloppy over BBQ for the reason I explained.

*Gets out my wand*
Obliviate.
Here you go, you now don't know what caring is. Now you just need to relearn everything you learned.
-
When I drink 1 or 2 beers I become even more precised because a bit of alc. chills down my nerves, making me very calm and concentrated.
-
Coffee all along. I sometimes have phases were I start drinking tea but after a quick while I switch back to coffee.
In case someone is interested in it, I mainly drink Cappuccino (not sure if it's correctly written) but you can chase me with black coffee, not touching that stuff.
-
Thanks for reminding me why I took a break of this game.

I don't understand the gunslinger hate either. he is a mid tier killer that can be countered, but a lot of people really really hate him.
Deathslinger is a case of lazyness. He has counters but people are lazy to play different against him.
But Spirit and Freddy are understandable. They are both to easy to play for their strength's.
Most people who play Freddy bm because it's the only Killer they can play and 4k with and have the ego to call themselves good because they 4k'd with the easiest Killer while using overkill Perks on an overtuned Killer.
Spirit requires good ears at least. But Spirit with Stridor is at the same level of boring as Freddy.

People hate Gunslinger? I thought he's fine. He's also pretty fun to verse. He can easily stomp but he's not boring or annoying to fight against like some killers like Freddy or Doc.

That's like saying Hag is just an M1 killer with some mobility shenanigans.
In that case, Nurse is also an M1 Killer with some mobility shenanigans, since she only uses M1 to attack Survivors.
-
Trapple could work like a Bear Trap for Survivors. I'd make it a rare or very rare item since my suggested effect is pretty strong.
Trapple:
- Press the active ability button while holding a Trapple to place it onto the floor (not dropping like a normal item with the drop prompt).
- Placing a Trapple takes 4 seconds
- If the Killer steps onto the Trapple he will be stunned for 4 seconds.
So you could use this at loops to make them safer (especially unsafe loops or choke points so the Killer either has to go around or step in it).
My first suggestion would be that you could throw it mid chase but that would make it a bit to strong since you could just run trough a tight gap, drop it and the Killer can't do anything about it.
So I made it with a required setup time so it requires thought and time outside of a chase.
Another Survivor could still place it while another Survivor is looping to make the Killer run into it, but be cautious. If a Survivor steps in it they will lose a health state, so don't mistime it.

I've been using it a lot BC I had nothing else on blight and it's pretty terrible thanks to all its restrictions
a) it's a hex
b) it has a cooldown
c) it has a very limited range
d) basic attacks only
If some of these things were adjusted there might be something to work with but right now it's only useful against survivors who waste their hit boost to throw the pallet. And then it goes on cooldown anyway. And then explodes.
Also, that rank 20 Meg who usually throws down a pallet after getting hit can't do it now since the pallet is blocked, and that's worse for the Killer.
It literally makes the Survivors life easier since People can't just waste pallets anymore, which the Killer doesn't want. They want to get rid of them quickly.

Someone is being very passive aggressive.
-
Well, I am gonna equip my Metal Spoon on Nurse from now on.
-
What a waste of a green Med Kit and Add-Ons. The green Med Kit gives you 1 heal and you take away 8 Charges wlth the green Add-on.
I'd rather use Gel Dressing, hit a great skillcheck so I can heal 2 times and then use my syringe.
-
Sometimes it'll be like that. When I leveled Blight, till Lvl 50+ I didn't get a single Compound 33, only Iri. Blight Tag's. I opened a Discussion if it was bugged maybe. After I opened the Thread and leveling him again, I got CP 33 thrown at me like crazy.

Imo the yellow reload addon is already enough to reload mid chase. There are better options for a second slot.
I was just feeling "why the frick not". It feels so good but also unfair at the same time. It literally gives the Survivors no distance at all and you got 4 bottles in no time.

Next Update:
- You can now call Victor after 15 seconds.
Next Update:
- You can now call Victor after 5 seconds.
Next Update:
- We decided that crushing Victor was to much so we decided that you can recall Victor at any time now and took away the crush and kick option.

I mean, using the Chainsaw for mobility and M1 in chases is still better than the average M1 Killer. Using the Chainsaw in chases is hard for beginners and requires quite a lot of learning.

It gives you an extra portal and survivors control your power. If they don't cleanse your portals you can't place anymore. Rat Liver gives you a lot more map control. (If used properly.)
That's Mew's Guts my friend.

And "You're as clumsy as you are stupid." every time he downs someone.
Or when someone bleeds out, an ominous voice says: "It seems in your anger, you killed her."
Vader then: "I? I couldn't have, she was alive I felt it!"
followed by a map wide "NOOOOOOOoooooooooo"

I've been accused of hacking because I grabbed a survivor from a locker. Not because I knew they were there, but because "I couldn't move. You blocked me. Reported for hacking".
Oh yeah, those are iconic as well. Grabbing someone out of a locker = wallhacking. Used Scratched Mirror once and I was also wallhacking.
But being accused of wallhacking after finding someone randomly or intentional in a locker, I had that quite a few times.
-
Yeah, I was playing Billy with BBQ obviously, against a streamer. And I always check their perspective after the match because I am a curious little fella.
They were green/yellow ranks so I was downing them left and right and a few times they were saying "He is hacking" while I saw them with BBQ. They weren't just saying it once, they were so extremely sure that I was hacking, it was funny. Then after I was commenting on their stream to check my Perks they said "nah, you couldn't find us like that with BBQ" and they were like "he is stream sniping". Yeah sure I am gonna stream snipe someone with 3 viewers like I have nothing better to do than that.
Then someone in the match got unhooked behind a hill, only saw the unhooked person run away so I thought, ok the unhooker is gonna be up or behind the hill, found him and guess what... I was hacking because I found her up the hill.

It works a lot more than it really should, I'm still trying not to get my ankles broken while playing blight.
I always break my neck when playing Blight. Doing those sharp "throwing my mouse from my table" flicks to get my hits.

Solid Counterplay

I don't understand those: "But it's not BBQ, Thrilling, Surveillance..." comments. Gearhead works in it's own way and is easier activated than other Perks. I like GH as well.
Gearhead activates on M1s.
BBQ requires hooking.
Thrilling requires picking up.
Surveillance in my opinion is the worst of those since you have go out of your way and give up a chase to kick a gen. I only use Surveillance combined with Surge or Ruin.
Discordance activates when at least 2 People work on 1 Gen. So it's onto the Survivors if they activate it or not.
The upper 3 Perks have simple requirements and are in my opinion the best Gen Info Perks.
The bottom 2 either sandbag you or are activated by Survivors playing wrong. The best way is to split up on Gens, which makes Discordance useless.
So in conclusion. In my opinion Gearhead is underrated while some other Gen Perks are overrated.

The problem with speed bugs that people keep talking about is perception - I've not yet seen evidence of a speed bug yet, despite numerous posts nobody is able to provide proof and we've tested Legion in particular and found that the speed is correct but that his FOV was bugged, which gives the perception of moving slower. I even tested myself to try to replicate the issue but have had no luck.
So it's not about ignoring bugs but if we're unable to replicate them and we don't even have proof of said bug, then it's not the easiest thing to find out what's wrong.
I can confirm that he does have his normal speed now.
4.6 m/s which are 46 metres in 10 seconds. I set myself a timer and looked where I would stand after those 10 seconds. I testing it on Midwich. W Heaven.
5.2 m/s which are 52 metres in 10 seconds. Default Frenzy Time lasts 10 Seconds, so after my Frenzy ended I compared those 2 spots where I stopped both times and it looked like a 6 metre gap between my 2 stop points. I imagined a Tier 1 Myers standing on the other end of those 6 metres.
Although, his lunge feels weird. When I press M2, then W and then lunge forward I almost move nowhere. But it might have been like that always since you have to build up speed first. Pressing W first and then M2 and then lunging gives pretty much the normal lunge range.
But it feels like the difference between a normal lunge and a Frenzy lunge is only half a metre, which is possible because I never tested it on Legion before he got bugged.
But I can pretty much confirm with 99 % that his speed feels very much normal.

I play every Killer without Add-Ons. Exceptions are Trapper, Wraith and Ghostface, though I am experimenting with Ghostface right now. Maybe he doesn't need them as well.
Trapper at base is horrible, it doesn't feel good. Having only 1 Trap capacity is horrendous.
Wraith at base is to slow while cloaked. Give him green or yellow Windstorm at base and he is perfect.
Ghostface can be alright, but a quicker recovery won't hurt him.
Other than that, I think every other Killer can be played without Add-ons and should be learned without Add-Ons. If you rely on Add-Ons you'll never learn the base power and you'll have to crutch on Add-Ons always.

One totem will take up two tokens seeing as the cleanse action takes 14 seconds to complete, and one token only hides your aura for 10 seconds.
Undying shows your Aura only for 6 seconds, not for the full cleanse duration (14 sec.)
-
Freddy. I'd rather earn my win than it being handed to me. He got overbuffed and now even my fart could win with Freddy.
-
Some People don't want to improve. They think if they watch their favourite Killer Streamer that they'll do just as well. Ans then if they don't, they start complaining and saying stuff like "survivor sided".
Or when someone says "gen rush" while them as Killer were just wandering around not even trying to apply pressure.

Quoth the title, "A Complete List of Maps by Hooks per Square Meter"
The point you make is about windows and pallets and such.
And if you read the actual thread, they search for a neutral map for something like a tournament. And then I explained what I explained.

@ZtarShot said:

ok that's not what the post is about though
How is it not? He is trying to find the most neutral map for some sort of tournament. Haddonfield is in the neutral center which can't be true because Haddonfield is Survivor sided. Only including Map size and hook distance don't make a map balanced for anything, not a regular Match and not for any experiment or tournament. Size plays a role but also the objects which are placed inside a Realm, and Haddonfield has to much loopable junk inside it to count is as a neutral map.
-
The fact that Haddonfield is in the neutral part worries me. Size and Hook distance don't make a map Survivor or Killer sided.
The fact that Haddonfield has so many infinite fences, house of pain, some safe pallets, 12 million windows inside every house and some "dead houses" which can be used as a W Heaven Mini Midwich makes this Map very Survivor sided.
-
I hope Survivors can sidestep or zig zag the next Killer, because I'd be down to hear you scream. Don't forget recording it.
One issue I noticed with the Twins. The sensitivity suddenly becomes higher when controlling Victor, therefore making it harder to hit Pounces because the Muscle Memory gets messed up. Tested this in KyF and while I had my default sensitivity when controlling Charlotte, when switching to Victor, I suddenly 180° with every little mouse move.
I had to manually reduce my sensitivity when controlling Victor, which I can do with a certain button on my mouse, so I can fast fix that issue but I don't think that there is such a button on a Controller.
-
Well, then you just found your Main. It's always nice to have at least 1 Killer where you are a 100 % confident.
-
I always play Killer at evening. Queues are like 3 Seconds there. I play more Survivor during the day cuz queues are faster during the day. At evening, Survivor queues become reaaaallly long.

That sounds hilarious. I run WGLF and BT when I'm purely farming bloodpoints along with prove thyself
My farming Build would be:
- We're gonna live forever
- For the People
- Prove Thyself
- Any Mean's necessary
For the People makes you to the Obsession, if you escape or die as the Obsession, you get 1000 or 1500 BP, depends if you die or escape. It also gives 500 BP when used. Yes, you are broken for 90 seconds and probably even injured for longer but shouldn't bother you if you are decent.
Prove Thyself gives you an massive BP boost when working on gens together. Do 1 Gen with someone from 0 to 100 and you'll have 75 % of your Objective Category filled out.
Any Mean's necessary I explained. It gives 500 BP and is hilarious.
WGLF is an obvious choice.
I also use a Commodius Toolbox with Gloves and Extra Charges. Sabo'ing a hook gives 500 BP and the Gloves prevents the Killer from being notified.
-
Like you said OP. Buy Pyramid Head since you can buy the other 2 with shards.
He is also my Main and it's really fun to use his PotD. I always go for them, even if I lose, it's worth it. Hitting someome trough a building or a wall is so beatiful.
Unless I go win mode, then I play him what some People might find "boring". I M1 more often than not. But usually I go for my PotD.
-
Well yeah, Kindred and Exhaustion Perk are always nice. Personally, I stopped using Dead Hard since it always exhausts me on the ground and I don't like the other Exhaustion Perks.
My Build is:
- Kindred
- Borrowed Time
- We're gonna live forever
- Any Perk I feel like using (At the moment Any Mean's necessary. It's funny to see Peoples reaction when I drop shack pallet at the start of the match without context. Also, it gives free 500 BP.)
-
Do gens, hide and if he spots you, hold W. He is strong in chases.
There are still baits you can do with his power, this 1 second delay gives you at least something. It's pretty risky though.
-
Probably a bug then. Pwyf specifically says "loses Tokens on basic attacks and special attacks". I can't imagine that Victors pounce is not a special attack.

No I don’t like that. As the last survivor you still have a chance to wiggle off and escape. I’ve done it multiple times and I’ve seen other people do that. What they could do for the yellow one, is make it so that you’re able to Mori 1 person even if they aren’t the last survivor. Regardless of whether or not they’ve been hooked. Of course that is, after the doors have been powered.

So you basically want the Cypress Mori to become a weaker Pocket Rancor?
Wiggling of as the last Survivor isn't that common and happens if the Killer turns off their brain since they already won. A basekit Cypress would be a good thing. You can now "final Judgement" the last Survivor with any Killer.
I can't remember when I wiggled as the last Survivor since there are hooks every 2 cm anyway. Mori animations are cool, with a base Cypress you could at least see those every Match.
-
As Killer there are not as many effective fun Builds but I play some as Survivor.
The Farm Build:
- We're gonna live forever
- Any Mean's Necessary
- For the People
- Prove Thyself
We're gonna live forever is obvious.
Any Mean's Necessary got "changed" recently and it awards 500 BP in the Boldness Category. Also, seeing the reaction of Survivors when I drop shack pallet at the start of the match is priceless. Even had one guy dc and then Myers let us 3 farm.
For the People makes you the Obsession and if you die or escape as the Obsession, you get bonus points. Using FtP also awards 500 BP I think.
Prove Thyself gives massive BP when you work on Gens with someone else. Start a Gen with someone and finish it and you'll 75% of your Objective full.
I use this regurarely and most of the time I end with 23k+ Matches as Survivor.
Edit: Also, use a Commodius Toolbox with Gloves and Extra Charges and sabotage every hook you see for free 500 BP. The Glove prevents the Killer from being notified when you sabotage.
This Build origins from Otz. I use it since he posted a video about it.

Then kill everyone before there is only 1 gen left. Don't purposely let a 3 gen happen, just try and kill everyone asap. Slug if necessary.
Keys are to strong but they can be played around without the need of certain Perks, Add-Ons or Offerings.
-
Survivor:
- Jumping into a Locker while in a chase (500 BP Boldness) Would make an Quick and Quiet play, maybe combined with Head On more awarded.
Killer:
- Opening Lockers (100 BP Deviousness)
