Ive only gone against/teamed with a cheater once 3 year it was? it seems to only affect streamers usually... not saying it dosent happen tho
That you know of. Blatant cheaters are annoying at worst. Subtle boosts to healing, repairing, luck, item charges, seeing Killers at all times, seeing teammates at all times, etc? You would have no clue.
-
No. One needs to see the cheater problem to realize this.
Any other company who cares would have fixed this within a week.
-
Just being ######### #########.
Devs are jerks for not removing flashlight clicky clicking the moment it started being done. It adds nothing to the game besides explicitly anoying and making the game less pleasant for both Killers and Survivors alike.
Just give it a God forsaken cooldown of 2 seconds and be done with it, it is SO easy yet the Devs still do nothing.
It's amazingly pathetic.
-
Dead Hard and NOED.
Free perks that reward playing poorly, and exist only to make the game worse and unfun, and if I could, I would delete them instantly with no hesitation.
-
Killers should be given the option to either break or snuff the totem, Booning should have a cooldown of some kind, and Survivors should not be able to move Boons after placing them.
You chose a bad spot? Tough, get better.
-
It's not a fair perk. Plain and simple, it is basically a free health state and chase extender at no cost, and it becomes painfully clear just how steamrolled "good" Survivors would get without it.
-
I will when the game is balanced around it.
Which is never. I'm sorry to not be thrilled at you winning with such an ungodly handicap.
-
Demogorgon and Ghostface
-
make it It activate regardless if the gates have been opened or not. No matter what, for 1 minute, Survivors aren't leaving.
-
Sounds like a team issue, not a Killer issue. You got farmed by your team.
-
Not until they deal with cheaters like proper devs should.
-
If they did, it would be Bloodborne, and if they added anyone as Killer, my money would be on Father Gascoigne.
Give him the ability to turn beast, boom. Cool new Killer.
-
Oh that's easy, they know SWF is broken and not fair to the nature of the game, so they don't want to be exposed as people essentially playing with the biggest handicap ever.
They want their cake and to eat it too, they want to stomp Killers and pretend they were gods while doing so.

it doesnt change the thing that you have to move to the other side of the map. its downside is that it takes 14 seconds to active and its bound to a place.
You forget there can be up to 4 Boons and they can be swapped between totems at any time with no cost.
-
You guys are as dumb as rocks.
Art is cool though.

Here's how to PROPERLY add LGBT to DBD
There was a man named John Smithers, he worked an office Job on Ohio to pay off his student loans and he lives with his husband.
There. THAT is how you represent someone LGBT, as a normal person.

Not a single thing? As a last gen console player who has never been able to use dead hard for it freezes my game, I vehemently object to that assertion lmao
Okay yes older gens are still screwed, but for modern consoles this is not an issue.
-
There is not a single thing PC players have over console players besides maybe, MAYBE, having an easier time aiming flashlights and of course cheating.
Besides that, Survivor feels awesome on a controller, even better with just a few small button reassigning. How would you even know you are playing against PC? For all you know you may have been slapped by a Switch player once or twice.
Sorry but in terms of Survivor, PC vs Console is a non existent issue.
-
They care about money.
That's all.
-
Changing it from 4 to 5 wouldn't hurt.
-
Cleanse NOED after it activates. Boom, done.
If you cleanse a Rekindled Totem, it is gone forever too.

im confused. You said without his passive he's the worst killer in the game but his passive needs to be nerfed? Did i read that wrong?
I do agree he shouldnt break his own chains.
I think if he didn't break his own chains he wouldn't be the worst. Buff his chains and nerf his passive.

So because randoms are having a hard time the cenobite must never be viable against a swf? (Which he isnt anyway)
His passive should be nerfed and he shouldn't be able to break his own chains. Without his passive he is the worst Killer in the game
-
Because his passive is the worst thing ever for SoloQ.
As usual SoloQ gets shafted good and deep while SWF eat steak and lobster.
-
I simply cannot imagine caring about something like this. Go volunteer at a soup kitchen or something.
-
You shouldn't be playing the game around the Hatch in any form at all. It is a free pity win for the final Survivor after your team loses the game.

How much diversity do you see among the survivors at the moment?
Does it matter? Making Survivors have unique effects would ruin diversity even further. It's just a bad idea, accept it.

Just get the box or let someone else get it.
"Oh what luck, how fun, I have to leave this Gen I'm working on on the other side of the map while Ruin is up because one teammate is being chased, the other is hiding in a locker and the stupid [BAD WORD] Claudette is too busy hiding in a bush 10 feet from the box and is too damn stupid to know to grab it."
No, the Killer isn't carried. Your team is just bad, you have the culprits in reverse. It sounds like you're at super low MMR or are focused on extreme scenarios to justify sweeping opinions (Example: My teammates are useless so Pinhead is therefore garbage to play against.), something that is frequently done when screaming for new Survivor perks to be nerfed.
I escaped low MMR by bringing Left Behind to ensure hatch escapes and it seems to have worked in raising my MMR to let me play with decent teams. You can do the same thing as me and run Left Behind if you seem to consistently get bad Survivors as Survivor.
Hatch doesn't effect MMR, and MMR for Survivors is less than worthless because it only values escapes, and escaping is NOT what makes someone in DBD good at the game.
I don't think a Killer should be carried by a passive ability. It's boring and requires even less effort than Wraith, and Wraith is the easiest Killer to play in the game. That says a LOT.

But then he would be like all other killers and people would compare him to others.
Pinhead is unique for having a good 4v1, I'd rather that not be removed no matter what.
I don't give 2 blue ######### how good his 4v1 is if it feels like garbage to play against. No, having chains passively rammed up your ass is NOT my idea of fun. It is lame and not interactive at all, and once again punishes SoloQ massively while SWF eat like kings.
Oh what luck, how fun, I have to leave this Gen I'm working on on the other side of the map while Ruin is up because one teammate is being chased, the other is hiding in a locker and the stupid ######### Claudette is too busy hiding in a bush 10 feet from the box and is too damn stupid to know to grab it.
It SUCKS and this Killer is entirely carried by something he doesn't even have control over, his power is a worse Clown bottle and if he didn't have this passive carrying him, he would be the worst Killer in the game by a country mile.
-
He feels like garbage now, and all they needed to do to fix his ADS spam was add a 3 second cooldown for aiming downsights.
It took me 10 seconds to think of a solution to fix him and even then they still screwed him up.
-
Pinhead is a one trick pony carried entirely by his passive. If they made his passive less severely punishing and buffed him so he doesn't break his own ######### chains, maybe people would enjoy playing him and against him. Instead all we have is Wonder Needles, the Box Slapper.
He exists now to slap the box out of your hand and that's it. It sucks and it sucks to go against too.
-
This is why a match replay system is needed. If you could view the match via 3rd person and see what everyone is doing, you could see if the Survivors suddenly get faster when out of your FOV.

How is it fine now? There is LITERALLY no point to bring a key into a game, now. Yes, the Hatch is supposed to be a last resort escape, I'm not disputing that. What I am disputing is that it's now damn near impossible to find the Hatch because it ONLY spawns when there's one Survivor left, and that's not really all that fun.
I do think the key having a bar to unlock the Hatch is pretty nice, though. Gives the Killer time to stop Survivors when they have a key and are trying to escape that way.
Keys were BS. You are crying over not being able to use BS anymore.

Agreed.
I think removing the hatch before all gens are done is the right thing, but having it only spawn for the last survivor is a bit too far. It should spawn when all gens are done, regardless of how many survivors remain.
Those survivors still need to make it to the hatch and use a key, which only opens it for 10 seconds, chances are multiple survivors aren't escaping at that point in the game, but if they do, that's a feat they've earned.
Lol no, a 4 man group of Survivors escaping via hatch and a key is not "fair". Thank GOD this was changed.
-
Hatch is a pity win, why add it back so some shmuck with a key and his friends can all escape for free?
No, hatch is FAIR the way it is now. A way for the last Survivor alive to escape by being lucky. THAT is how it should have always been, your friends are sacrificed, you have lost the game and you are lucky that you even get a chance to escape without all gens even being done.
-
This would just make players only play certain Survivors, which is boring as all hell. So no.
-
Everyone does, but the Devs are too stubborn to admit their change was bad. Just like with Deathslinger.
-
Huntress is better than him and I NEVER see hate towards her, the problem with Trickster from a gameplay perspective is that he walks a tight rope of feeling useless or overpowered.
I would change him so that he requires more knives to injure someone but he gains 115% movement speed so he at least has a bit of an easier time in chase and moving around the map.
-
A balanced game is a game that's played and supported by players.
-
Survivor deserves half of Kindred as base kit, SoloQ should be able to see what teammates are doing when someone is hooked, at least see whenever a Survivor is within like 40 meters of the person hooked.
For Killer it would have to be Deadlock. Using Deadlock frequently made me realize 2 things, this perk is awesome and if it was basekit it would change almost nothing lol. It just feels really nice to have, gens still fly but it takes the edge off a bit which is nice.
-
Everything about Hag encourages everything that makes DBD unfun. No chases, just free cheesy teleport hits, spam traps, wait, repeat.
No chasing, no mind games, just spam traps everywhere, get hits, down the Survivor, hook, spam traps around hook, repeat.
NOTHING about this Killer is engaging or fun in the slightest, and if I had the power to delete her from DBD I would in a heartbeat.
She needs a rework yesterday, as it stands everything about this Killer is vile to me.
-
Praying for some new powerful perks, Pinhead's are good but I want some REAL game changers
-
Asylum, I ######### HATE Asylum.
-
The system is poorly thought out on Survivor side because escaping is NOT an accurate measure to determine if the Survivor is "good". The Claudette hiding in a bush all game is NOT better than the Dwight who died after doing 3 gens and looping the Killer for 5 minutes.
-
No, it does what it is meant to do. I'd sooner buff Head On or nerf Dead Hard. Yeah nerfing Dead Hard seems like a pretty cool idea, let's do that.
-
Tunneling? I prefer to call it making the logical decision. Why would I chase your healthy teammate and a nice wounded snack is right in front of me?
-
Fix the innumerable amount of awful maps this game has. Biggest gripe easily.
-
Dude would you just stop? He's not getting a rocket launcher. Give him haste when a generator is done so he can pursue targets better, there good enough.
-
The one without counterplay
Dead Hard is used for distance, not iframes.
-
Trapper:
Rigged Jaws
A Survivor attempting to disarm the trap will be faced with a tremendously difficult skill check. Failing the skill check results in the Survivor being caught in the bear trap, and cannot attempt to escape.
