Yes because the killer knows what perks you have before the game starts, your flashlight rarity and your intentions.

"I put TTV in my name so I help grow my channel so I deseve a mori every game" - A TTV I've played against once who had 7 moris in the row just because of his name then almost started crying when I played fair and made it fun....

    Windows of Opportunity OP btw

When you put TTV in your name, a DS is as mandatory as food and water... so I see no issue there

Yes, you do. We are here to play the game and have fun. You are there to show off on the internet and make money. It is your job. You have set the bar higher for yourself. Monto and Otz seem to be able to handle it. I'm sure you will get there too. Tougher games, with a target on your chest, will make you into a lean, mean fighting machine. Leave the whining and winging behind though. I can't imagine that will win over viewers.

On Midwhich? Serious? I could imagine this being a horrible map for the miles you can see him coming, even when being in a room you have normally enough space to the doors to get to a pallet or window to safely escape

It is a terrible map for EVERY version of Myers except for Spooky Myers (sometimes called Jump Scare Myers). Because he can wall hack, and that map is stack on top of itself, he is extremely proficient at finding and cutting off the survivors. Try it out. Trust me, it works really well. All his other builds get roasted there though. Don't bother with them. :)

Umm no. I’m pretty sure lots of people are not fine with moris, especially ebony mori. Almost everytime a killer brings a mori player(s) DC. Ebony moris are one of the dumbest things added in the game. They are garbage insta-win offerings.

The Mori has been around a long time and it hasn't broken the game yet. It is part of the flavor and theme of this game. Without the fear of a quick, bloody death, we would just be Pac Man with fancier bodies.

  • @ToxicMyers said:

I mean I have been playing myers for a while now lll-50 with him and played him to about rank 7 now and I don't understand why tier 1 myers exists? Literally that tier only hinders him and if he is starved can make a game hell for a myers. I personally think get rid of tier 1 and now you have a b to a tier killer who isn't hindered by their power. Any thoughts?

Edit: Someone talked about his add ons so I say rework those if you remove tier 1

I have been able to win, 3-4K with Spooky Myers (Scratched Mirror + Boyfriend's Memo) consistently at Lerys, Hawkins, Swamp, Midwich, and Coldwind Farms. Would I love for him to be 110% rather than 105%? Sure. But he is functional and fun.

Here's the thing; I said "almost" universally hated.

There will always be some people who defend broken stuff in this game like keys and iri heads, but every time I see them discussed it's in a very negative light.

They aren't even "almost" universally hated. Lots of people are just fine with the Mori in the game, and in fact there are quite a lot of us that don't think it should go anywhere. The reason you only see them discussed in a negative light is you are here HERE, i.e. the most negative place on the internet. :) If you haven't noticed they have discussed nearly every single Perk and power in the same negative light as the Mori, many times over in fact.

  • @OogieBoogie said:

Is there a single good reason why they haven't disabled ivory and ebony mori's? They've shown in the past they have the ability to disable offerings without removing them from your inventory, so why not disable the one that almost universally hated until a rework is released? At the very least they could disable ebony mori's and leave the other two for dailies. It makes absolutely no sense. I'm just sick of waiting 10 minutes for a match just to see a hidden offering and know there's a 90% chance the match is going to be terrible and I should just DC or suicide and wait another 10 minutes.

I just hope that if they do rework it they don't repeat the insta-heal mistake and announce it in advance without disabling them. The game will be practically unplayable.

Here is the thing; they are not universally hated.

This is exactly why Mori's need to be reworked. You sit in queues for 20 minutes; only for someone to 1st Hook Mori you.

Trapper trapped the inside of a window so you couldnt see it; then I get farmed off hook, instantly downed again and Mori'd :) So much fun.

Seems pretty fun to me, kind of a laugh riot. I'm a Rank-9 and I've been getting damn Reds all day. Until the matching is better, I think the Mori is just fine where it is now.

This. I'm surprised more people dont just run KO, given all the complaining about SWFs. You'd be surprised how many teams rely on those auras, or dont know how to accurately describe where they are over comms.

I plan on adding it the moment I can get it on the Shrine. :)

  • I pretty much like Myers because he is the Grand Pooba, the first of the entire genre.

About what happened on the man-shunned slope—

Tales of an oddly mangled deer or bird,

Or of lost boys whose kin had ceased to hope.

Ummm if we don't down you and pick you up, you stay stuck in that hill until we do. There is no other way for you to get out that I know of. I'm usually nice and choose NOT to Stalk up on you when I'm playing Myers and then I pull you out and hook you and let someone get the save. If there is another way for you to get out of the hill, let us know. :)

  • We have the Mori. :) And no, we really don't. I play lots of games and at the end I always look at what people have. DS is in most of their builds, and yet I usually only get hit once per game. I don't know why. I don't try not to tunnel or anything like that. I do try to down people right at hooks though, so I can slam them up before they can do anything (or their friends with flashlights).

Can killers see auras of survivors at the start of the game or something? Every day for the past two weeks, I’ve always been the first survivor found within 20 seconds of the game starting and I haven’t even moved yet!

does anyone have any strategies on how to make sure I don’t get seen first? Cause my team always loses when I’m the first one to die 😂

Some Killers can. I play Michael Myers, and against commonsense, I've been playing the Spooky Myers (Scratched Mirror + Boyfriend's Memo) a lot. This means I'm not just playing him when I cannot control the map and choose a small one. He is extremely difficult to play on a large map, which is what I wanted to see if I could manage. This Myers CAN see your auras once he is within (32) Meters. I usually cut straight across the map towards the middle, swaying so I can check Generators as I progress. On top of this I flood the map with Totems, and take Hex: Thrill of the Hunt so the moment someone touches one I know where at least one (if not the bulk of) the Survivors spawned. The game, for whatever reason, likes to spawn Totems by Generators. I figured I might as well take advantage of it.

As several people have already told you, the game rarely spawns survivors near the Killer, so that takes away one third of the map I generally need to search. It is all a mind game, that first two minutes or so. My goal is always to yank someone off a Gen or Totem at the start and get an early hook. I'm only managing it about 50% of the time. As I've gotten a better Ranking the people I can sneak up on are fewer and far between. :) I assume most Killers do a variation of what I do, even if they cannot see auras. A swaying, through the middle, approach allows one to pick up the sounds of generators being worked on. Some Killers can tell the second a Generator is getting worked. Then there are the lightning fast Killers who simply setup a high speed patrol and flush people out. And there are the Killers who just get lucky. All Killers are fighting the Gen-Rush which has become crazy common in the era of SWF.

That means if you want to avoid the Killer in the first two minutes, get away from Generators and Totems. Let someone else cue you in to where the Killer is and then pick your battles with Generators if you mean to play stealth. Just be aware that your fellow Survivors often look down on the stealth types. They see it as you not carrying your part of the load.

  • The Doc is certainly annoying (all the Killers are in their way) but unbeatable? No. I'm relieved when I see it is a Doc and not a Nurse or a Spirit.

  • @Impact said:

I think the developers at BHVR are obsessed with the exposed status. This is my most un-favourite status, as it leaves you no counter play except to run away before you are downed with one hit.

I'm trying not to complain too much about The Blight's perks, because they are truly good and worth the purchase.  But all a survivor has to do to get the exposed status, is to work on a generator that a killer has just kicked – if the killer has the new perk Dragon's Grip. Fun for the killer, but not fun for the survivor.

Let's consider some other applications of the exposed status:

You're looking for the ruin totem and finally find a hex. There's no other hex in force, so you cleanse it. Too bad, that was the Haunted Grounds totem.  Now, you and your team-mates are exposed. That Meg that was in a chase at the time will hate you for the rest of the game.

That creepy Myers with the small terror radius looks at you for a minute or so. Welcome to Evil Within 3 and insta-downs.  You better hope he hasn't got add-ons that provide infinite tier 3, or the rest of the game is going to be a slaughter-fest – unless the killer is rank 20. I'm okay with Myers in general though, as its his power and it takes time to build-up and you get audible warnings, unlike our next killer…

You're working on your first generator, nearly done. Suddenly, you find yourself exposed and Ghostface creeps from behind a rock. You didn't hear his stalking over the noise of the generator. Too bad, one hit and you're on the floor. At least with Myers it takes time to get to Evil Within 3. But this little mofo will get you exposed in seconds. Time to equip Spine Chill.

Thinking of getting into a locker to avoid detection from BBQ and Chili? Or perhaps you're hiding from the doctor's power? Considering healing yourself with Inner Strength? Maybe you want to try a Head On stun?  Think again, if the killer has Iron Maiden, you'll suffer from the exposed status for 15 seconds and your location is revealed for 4 seconds.

Rescuing survivors from a hook is a good thing, right? Well, yes and no. Be wary of the exposed status! If the killer has Devour Hope, when a survivor is rescued from a hook at least 24 metres away, twice, all survivors are exposed. It doesn't stop there. If the killer has Make Your Choice, a hook rescue from at least 32 metres away from the killer, will apply the exposed status effect on the rescuer for up to 60 seconds. Better hope its not a fast moving killer or one that can teleport (such as Hag or Nightmare).

You finally complete the last generator. Everyone dashes to the exits. You hear a scream and realise with horror that the killer has NOED. One hit and your're down and probably won't escape. You cleansed the two dull totems that you came across during the game, but that was not enough. There's no warning until some unfortunate survivor gets downed.

The Blight also comes with a new perk called Hex: Undying. When a different hex totem is cleansed, that hex will be transferred to an existing dull totem. So, that NOED or Devour Hope totem that wreaks so much havoc, might not be cleansed so easily in future.

Most people know all of this already. But when you consider all of the above, it just seems like the exposed status is overused – it does to me at least.

As others have already pointed out, it is the nature of the beast. There are currently only two different status states the Survivors can be in. A third would have to be added to create greater complexity. Doing so would mean that the DEV would have to create more penalties, say injured the same as now, badly injured even more trail and slows the survivor down, and then dying state. More variables means more room for bugs and issues. I'm not against the idea, but we already have an issue with SWF and I'd rather they find a way to balance that first before dealing with this.

  • I put "other" because while my matches have been going well, this is largely because I duck SWF teams. I avoid them like a virulent disease. :) So, I need to put in that caveat so it doesn't mess up your research.

  • I'm not really sure the point of this threads is but I'll put in my two cents. During the game, play hard. Throw everything at the Survivors/Killer you have. Bring you best Perks. Camp, tunnel, or Mori if the situation demands it. You don't have to be nice to anyone during the game. The only rules are:

    1. Don't hack or use lag spikes.
    2. Don't disconnect; if you start a game finish it.
    3. Before and after the game be courteous and polite. We should be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.

That's it. I agree with the sentiment that this is a no holds bar PVP grudge match. I just want to make sure that before and after the game everyone is polite at a minimum, and ideally friendly. After all, we supposedly share a love for this hobby/game.

Youre right, but i didnt really mean the people, of course they benefit from positive feedback, i meant more the game itself

But that is my point, and I'm not communicating it to you very well. The game doesn't exist outside the context of the people who maintain it, update it, and introduce new material into it. You can't separate the people from the game. There are too many variables for that distinction. For example, Blight has a bunch of new Perks which clearly are designed to try and slow down the Gen-Rush and thus deal with the growing issue of the 5th Perk (Comms). They could have approached it a different way, and I submit there are probably some more logical solutions, but they get so much grief here from the constant negative feedback loop that they opted for more Perks as a patch, i.e. a not-so-subtle alternate method.

Will it work? I hope so, and I happen to like the Perks. I even think Blight's rather unique method of moving around is kind of interesting. I can't control him worth spit yet, but I've seen video of those that can. I've loved the graphical updates I've seen so far too. They are clearly on the right track, and I think they deserve to hear about it. So, slowing down the Gen-Rush, top marks from me. Awesome looking graphics, nothing by A+ from me. I mean, what would be the purpose of me telling them what I don't like? Do you think my complaints (or yours) could possibly be more than a drop in a very large bucket, i.e. things they have heard a thousand times before. The negative feedback is meaningless and has little to no impact because there is so much of it.

  • @Viperion said:

Im not saying we should only leave negative feedback, but i just think Behavior doesnt really benefit from positive feedback.

Everyone benefits from positive feedback. The company is made of people, and force feeding real people hefty servings of bile day in and day out isn't good for them personally and thus not good for the company. That in turn means it isn't good for us as Players. I absolutely disagree with the idea that they don't benefit from positive feedback. Without it you will turn them from people who take joy and pride in their work (and want to hear good things about it) to a soulless group that don't like us at best, and see us as just wallets at worst.

  • @Viperion said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/184675/some-positive-feedback

Youre right, but saying whats wrong with the game helps more than saying whats right, becouse they can change whats wrong and when you are saying only positive things, they cant do anything with it becouse you already like it.

I'm not sure I agree. They have to get BOTH. If all they get is negative this and negative that, it becomes a great big fog and they have no way of knowing what is actually constructive critiques our sour grapes. I think they need to hear from people about the things that are working in equal measure, so they aren't basing changes merely on whom is the best at screaming and complaining.

Those that complain aren't necessarily right, but without the vast majority of people who LIKE something chiming in, it gives a distorted picture.

  • @Demonl3y said:

Of course threads like this wont get any attention.. :/

Well, I didn't do it to get attention, just to genuinely thank them for their efforts. If they see it, great. If not, hopefully other people who do will remember to provide some more positive posts.

  • I would still like to see a Werewolf or a Jekyll & Hyde where you start the game with (5) survivors and nobody knows who is the one that can turn into a Killer.

  • I hope to be a Red Rank Killer one day, and if I make it... I'll tell you my mentality. I suspect it will be the same as now. I play hard to win, and expect the Survivors to do the same. I don't begrudge them their Perks and whatever Add-on they chose. I am not salty at the end of a match, and I play till the bitter end. I'm not mad at the Survivors or the Game when I fail to get a 4K. That is on me baby.

  • There is no problem with friends, but they do need to be treated like a different animal. They need their own que and own Ranking. And to be perfectly honest, Killers need the option to opt out, or the DEV need to put in something to balance that 5th Perk (Comms). I have faith it will all come together. It is clear the DEV are aware of the issue and hence why ALL of the upcoming Perks on Blight deal with slowing down the Gen-Rush which was vastly amplified by SWF.

  • @Endersan said:

Ohh let me use deja vu. Dark sense. And stand still so the killer can hook me. Don't do gens 'casue it's toxic. Don't blind the killer with flashlight. Don't heal myself.

Why are items are in the game if u cant' use them?

Why can't you play swf without being called toxic? You know there are people who bought the game to play with friends. The other day i got facecamped by an instadown hatchet huntress with a mori but I'm not complaining about it cause, moris are really good offerings and insta down hatchet is a really godd add-on. killer mains can u stop complaining about meta perks? Thank you for your attention.

I'm a Killer and I don't say that. I think the word toxic is worthless and has no meaning. I don't care what you use. Killers are going to do their best to kill as many survivors as possible, and Survivors are trying to survive by any means necessary. As long as no one is hacking, more power to you. While there are some whining/winging Killers, they are (in general) vastly outnumbered by the endless complaints of Survivors. I don't like hearing it from either side.

The endless complaining creates a thick blankets of fog which obscures real issues, and makes it impossible to talk about anything. The word "toxic" for example seems to be whatever a particular whiner wants to complain about on a given day. I've been accused of camping merely for being on the same side of the map as a hook. Was I camping? No, of course not.

That isn't to say I won't. I will camp, tunnel, or Mori to win the game. Sometimes those strategies work, sometimes not. Every game is unique. I'm still relatively new and learning. I try not to spend a lot of time worrying about which Perk is too strong or too weak. The DEV get paid for that; I don't. I'm just here to play the game. I am concerned with "out of game" things like the 5th Perk (Comms) for SWF. I think that makes things very difficult to balance properly, and will get addressed eventually one way or another.

But again, I'm not here to tell other people how to design the game; I go to play it.

  • Well I find it is hard as HECK to Pip (or not lose one) once I hit Rank-10 as a Killer, but I suspect that is normal. It now seems to require (5) Pips to go up, and the requirements are more demanding. And of course, I'm facing much tougher Survivors in general.

  • Given the number of variables in a game, it is impossible to quantify. The game lasts as long as it is going to last. I did a Spooky Myers on Midwich the other day and killed everyone in 3-4 minutes.

You make no sense. So because I don't believe that killers should be able to stack slow downs MUST mean I am either bad at the game or my lobbies are filled with bad survivors? There are plenty of amazing killer mains that don't use slow downs on killer and are able to perform well most of their matches. I can name a few streamers but that's against the rules. You are correct in the last part though. MOST survivors are not good at the game. It's a party game not a competitive one. Yes, there are circumstances such as going against a pro teams such as ID but it is rare and not a valid excuse to rely on 2+ slowdowns.

I'm really not in the mood to rhetorically club a baby seal. I disagree with you. Clearly the DEV disagree with you. Pretty much every potent Ranked Player who has offered me advice and suggestions in my builds has disagreed with you. Your screed isn't going to do squat; the sooner you accept that, the sooner you can get to playing and learn to overcome those things causing you issues. That is the long and the short of it. Get playing or get lost.

  • Well, practice does make perfect. Flashlights are my bane, so I'm looking forward to purchasing Lightborn when it shows up at the Shrine. :)

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1557342#Comment_1557342

Why do you assume that I am new to the game? I have thousands of hours and I know what works and what does not. I am trying to say that stacking slowdowns in public matches works too well. This should be changed. Just because the devs do this for a living does not mean they know what they are doing. Just because someone has been playing the game since release does not automatically mean they know whats best for the game. I know plenty of people that have more hours than I do and say that DH and SB is perfectly balanced and should not change. Does that mean they are right? No.

Because of what you say. I've heard it literally hundreds of times here over and over again (and I haven't even been here that long). And let me be blunt, you don't have thousands of hours. If you did, you would be better at the game. As I put my head down and fight my way toward a better Rank I've noticed a distinct trend, the more potent the Rank of the Players, the better the manners and the more helpful they are in every meeting. And playing Devil's Advocate, and pretending I believe you have thousands of hours in the game, you REALLY need a new hobby if you haven't gotten good enough to deal with the problems you are voicing. I mean, if true, that is downright humiliating. Why would you admit that in context of your posts?

  • I don't know what to tell you. I've gotten blinded many times in the last few days, so I know it still works. I know that you have to have it in their face and held for a certain amount of time. Many Killers are getting good at turning out of it (I know I'm practicing) so perhaps it isn't that you aren't doing it right, but they are defending better?

  • @Stanley12363 said:

I just hate how people keep this community divided. If I have an opinion about killer, then I am a survivor main pretending to be a killer main. If I have an opinion about survivor, then I am a baby killer main. We need to address the issues of the game together and making a split in the community is going to do anyone any good.

I also want to mention the double standard that people have on this forum. For example. I made a post yesterday talking about how killers should have a way to forfeit the match and end the game early just as how survivors are able to kermit on first hook. I was met with "Baby killer wants the game handed to him in a platter."

The problem is they already have that option. You are just ignorant of it. The Killer can throw open the gate for them, stop chasing them, let them farm and/or leave. Nothing requires the Killer to do ANYTHING. As to shortening the match, why are you playing the game if you don't want to PLAY the game. Seriously, find one that you enjoy enough that you aren't looking to get out of it as quickly as you got in.

  • @SadonicShadow said:

I deeply regret letting myself get sucked into that overwhelming meaningless grind. I have wasted so many bloodpoints simply in the pursuit of trying to max out every single character I own that it has sapped all the fun from the game for me. Before It gave me a sense of accomplishment. I wanted to be like a lot of the streamers that I see who have every character maxed out. The completionist in me wanted to obtain everything. However, I don't play the game anywhere near close to full time streamers and at the rate the devs release new killers and survivors I would have to play this game non-stop to max everything out which I simply cannot do.

I wish there was a function where I could give up my Prestige for the bloodpoints I wasted in obtaining it. It just was not worth it and made the game 3x more grindy than it should have been for cosmetics that I don't even use.

To all the players that may be new and wondering if its worth it. Its not. Don't go down this road unless you want misery and suffering. Only character worth getting to P3 is Claudette since her outfit gives you a very good stealth advantage. Other than that Its a massive time sink with no reward unless you play this game like a full time job.

Yeah, I could have started working on Prestige for Myers awhile back, but the advantages coming from it seemed too high a price to pay.

I appreciate the sentiment, really I do. No sarcasm intended. But hey. Have to make an effort to make a change. And for the record I'm really not begging for auric cells. And I did make a real support ticket that would be seen by a human.

I just wanna be able to play the dang game I love.

I wasn't being sarcastic either. I wish you good luck. I was merely pointing out the burden of proof is on you, not BHVR. I tend to think it is a bad idea to post an angry screed at them here. Why? It almost ensures you aren't going to get anywhere. Now, if they cave to you as a one time courtesy (without proof) they know they will get every Tom, Dick , and Harriet who was banned (and deserved it) demanding the same.

A better strategy would have been to contact them through proper channels and send them a polite request and explain the situation and provide what evidence you have. The company is ridiculously reasonable in my opinion. The problem is the internet (and forums like this) seem to make people forget their manners and basic social skills. Everything become a rant or an accusation. For the record, I've been banned briefly myself because my internet actually went down in bad weather and came back up later. Did I bother with it? No. There was no point, and I understood the ban implicitly. I'm not saying you shouldn't follow your heart. I'm merely suggesting your method is less likely to work.

  • Good luck with that. I wouldn't hold your breath though.

  • The are only three rules:

    1. Don't hack.
    2. Don't disconnect in the middle of the game.
    3. Don't be salty, insulting, profane, etc. in the pre-game or after game chatter.

Those are the only customs and ethics that matter. In the game you can do whatever the heck else you want if it is tactically valid for that given match. That includes bringing powerful Perk combinations as a Survivor or a Killer. You can camp, tunnel, mori, or work with the other Survivors to repeatedly stun a Killer into the ground.

In general, good sportsmanship is simply to be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.

The burden of proof isn't on me, and if I could link my account to my steam and show you my match history I would. It really doesn't matter if you don't like my attitude or you're so convinced I'm a troll account so you can rationalize in your own head why I would go on a tangent like this if not for a real reason.

And honestly at this point I'll just meet my entitlement with yours. I'll keep my crap on the forums as long as it can interrupt my game play. Fancy that?

Technically it is, the burden of proof I mean. You agreed to the terms required to play DbD and believe it or not, amid all those terms they have the right to do exactly what they did. If you don't like that, you know where the virtual door is located. Whenever we play any online game, we always have to agree to such terms, although I find few people bother to read them.

I don't think you understand people are purposefully manipulating this function to get out of games they don't want to play. If you play overnight during the sweaty hours and get unlucky enough for this to happen to you multiple times, you're not just out of a one time time out for thirty minutes. This is multiple games ruined and multiple times just sat there doing something else with my time. What else and what I'm doing doesn't matter or if you find that valid, it's a issue that doesn't have to occur that innocent people are scapegoated to at the hands of malicious players. The very ones you implied you disliked.

I do understand that MOST people who D/C are doing it to get out of games. That is called being a bad sport. It disrespects your fellow players, it disrespects the larger community, and to be quite frank it shows an amazing lack of dignity and pride. I'm all for people leaving the Lobby before a game starts if they change their mind. But once the game has started, you play it to the bitter end. That is proper etiquette and manners. I have zero sympathy for people who bail on games they are having a hard time in for whatever reason. It is no different from suddenly upended the table and storming out of the room if you were playing a board game in the real world. It is bad behavior and SHOULD be punished.

And if I (or anyone else) gets a temporary ban because a real emergency or internet issue came up, I'm fine with that. I'd rather that happen now and then (because it is the exception not the rule) than have the endless disconnects going on which screw over the people playing. As a Killer, I've lost more Pips that I care to count because the D/C plague makes it impossible for me to score enough. As a Survivor I've lost more games because of this bad sportsmanship displayed by my teammates.

And for the record, I get stuck in lots of "sweaty" games through the night, and even push through the ones where SWF in matching outfits do their best to Troll me. I just shrug and play on, learning what I can from the experience.

I didn't exist and you didn't have to click either. o.o is someone forcing u to comment or something sorry bout that. it wasn't a troll but with the way im laughing now i'm turning into one.

The problem is not only are you entitled, self-important and a spoiled brat, you also appear to have zero self-awareness. Either that or you are so arrogant you can't even admit to the fact that your action was wrong. By all means continue. There is nothing I can say that makes you look any worse than the job you are doing yourself.

Yes, because I want a nerf to killers must mean I am a survivor main. Just like how I want a survivor nerf must mean I am a baby killer main.

Actually, most of your commentary simply reveals you to be relatively new to the game and that you haven't learned enough to make these big statements. I'm new to the game too, but the difference between you and I is I don't think I have enough time in grade to really decide what works and what doesn't yet. The DEV do this for a living, and many of the Players here have been doing it for four years. Forgive me if I trust their judgement over yours.

what did I say I was entitled to again? I don't remember and also what "whole lot better player" what is that? I didn't make this discussion because I lose its the fact the I like to work with my teammates and actually play the game.

You created a post whose entire premise is an insult to every Player who uses a PC. Then you insisted that we "change your mind". There isn't anything more entitled and self-important than what you did. It was Trolling post.

So what I'm reading here It's okay as long as it doesn't happen to you? Anything to put the responsibility ANYWHERE else but on Behavior's shoulder's where it belongs. What is your people's malfunction?

No, read again. I said I'm SURE it will happen to me at some point too. A bad connection or an emergency might drop me out of a game. And I will fully understand a temporary Ban if it does. Reading comprehension is a thing.

lol it was a request and anyway you seem a little butthurt

Not at all. I just find your sense of entitlement, and the premise of your entire post, indicative of a spoiled brat. The forums are flooded with you guys and gals, complaining about anyone and anything you can. If you spent 10% of the time you do complaining, you might be a whole lot better Players.

Every since doing crossplay all I have seen is toxic player from pc literally matchmaking times are faster but thats it im a survivor main and I play killer occasionally as a survivor the teammates are really toxic. Looking in the forums you can find lots of them too the vast majority of pc players are toxic. I also wanna say that if there was a crossplay without pc that would be a game changer. Sorry if this offends u but its true.

No, I don't care about your mind or your opinion. Since the cross play started I've seen no difference whatsoever between the Players. That being said, why do we have to change your mind? Do you honestly think you matter at all? Get in the game, earn a reputation, and perhaps we will care what you think.

  • Well, for every person who says they are innocent, there are at least twenty bans of people who clearly are not. I'm just fine with the penalty remaining. I'm sure a situation will cause me to have to sit out too at some point. Woe is me, I'll have to spend a half hour playing something else. This is a video game, and the penalty helps prevent the absolutely disgusting abuse of the D/C.

If you're in a chase when the last generator pops there's no way you can defend the exit gates in time. Especially if all 4 survivors are alive.

I don't feel like sitting there for 2 mins waiting for the survivor on the hook to die, so I just let them unhook and leave. I just don't see the point.

If all the Generators are up and the Killer has one or more people on the hook, yeah... there is literally no reason they should go far from their bait. Leaving the quarry they already caught is only Lose/Lose as they just risk what few sacrifices they have managed. This is the natural evolution of the Gen-Rush. Most Survivors do NOT immediately try to save anyone anymore. They just use the time to pop more Generators early to mid-game. This often results in 2-3 Generators all popping at once and early. Don't blame the Killer for trying to maximize what they have left. The only thing they got to find the others is the bait.

That being said, Survivors, once they get down to just a few Generators COULD try different tactics rather than just full speed Gen-Rush, i.e. making sure they do their rescues before they pop the last two. That way the Killer still will risk moving out to look for them. In short, there is no plan that survives contact with the enemy. Killers Mori, Tunnel, and Camp more now because they are adapting the current Meta. The new Perks which slow down the Gen-Rush might alleviate some of what you are feeling though.

"What about this", "What about that", "What about X killer thing", "What about X survivor thing". With this attitude nothing will get done. I am focusing on one issue of the game. Yes, there are plenty of crutch and unfair perks survivor has but I am talking about stacking slowdowns.

You adapt. That is how this game evolves. Survivors ignored Totems and coordinated to the point where most of the Generators are up in within 3-4 minutes. Killers started using the Mori again more liberally to slow it down and every Perk they could to slow it down too. Clearly the DEV can see data we can't, but I expect it merely confirms what all of us playing guess. Thus, even more Perks that slow things down are coming out. You guys will adapt fine.
