Maybe give the Jigsaw-boxes an additional effect, Jigsaw puzzles were always something where you have to injure yourself to ‚value life‘ and don’t die (saw your foot off, go through barbed wire etc): something along the line of giving the Deep Wound effect after getting your RBT off. Or something else or randomly one of multiple effects.
also start at first Jigsaw box with smaller (not 0) chance and increase the chances.
make not all Jigsaw boxes visible but only one at a time or in radius around survivor.

They probably wanted to change Bubba and Hillbilly was easily doable alongside. They also said they were MOSTLY happy with Hillbilly iirc.
honestly, it seems like it doesn’t matter what they do, community will always find reasons to complain..

Cross Progression is not absolutely confirmed as of now, but likely coming.
they are still negotiating with the different platforms about it.
cross play is definitely coming later this year

Wouldn’t be against it. Clicker or other infected would feel weird since they don’t actively hunt or kill people but attack if people stumble to them..
Abby, Ellie and Joel would all kinda work. Mostly Ellie though.
none of the protagonists are only hero or villain, good or bad. That’s the one thing LOU has done pretty well!

Jeepers Creepers is not happening. The devs have looked into the license and stated they won’t do it because of the director!
i would really like to see new L4D content, maybe a new killer and for survivors only legendary skins. While I don’t know anything about the game, it would be cool precedent and speculation would be interesting in the future because old licenses could be considered as well.

Well it is depends on the killer really. Freddy with BBQ and PGTW does feel pretty strong compared to other killers and it seems unfair.. same goes with Billy with BBQ but you didn’t see many who played Billy well enough..
after using BBQ myself, the aura reading is pretty strong against casual players, there is no denying in that. Not a crutch perk but just pretty strong and way stronger on high mobility killers

I don't complain about "genrush" for the most part because it's their objective, of course they want to do it fast.
About the only time I really get frustrated about players intentionally trying to screw with others is the whole, "SWF with 3 red ranks and 1 rank 16" because they actually are explicitly hunting for newbies to pick on.
That doesn’t even work like this anymore though. Matchmaking is just totally f*cked and you can get pretty much any constellation you can imagine with ranks.
i also wasn’t saying you were complaining about genrush but you explicitly said complaining about killers should stop, not the other way.

Especially at red ranks, gens are going to be flying. Both sides are playing to win. Many killers often end up needing to remove a weak link or otherwise vulnerable survivor just to stay in the match.
And no, don't talk about how the killer shouldn't care about winning or should just "make it fun" for the survivors. They're certainly not thinking about the killers fun or feelings. They'll be out the gates in 30 seconds flat if you let them.
Sometimes you lose, and that's just how it is. Stop thinking about how the killer personally ruined your game and just go to the next one.
That’s totally fair and all. But then there shouldn’t be complaints about genrushing or using „second chance perks“.
but we are stuck with both. And that will not stop because both sides won’t think about the other.

I must be the luckiest DbD player alive since I almost never get toxic messages, and if I do it’s just something minor like I am a genrusher or potato or something like that. Doesn’t matter which role either..

Nerfed into the ground? Which are you referring to exactly other than Hillbilly (don’t want to start a discussion about him, genuinely haven’t seen anything about him yet)?
Nurse is still -in the right hands- one of the strongest Killers even though her reworked nerfed her. Other reworks like Freddy, Doctor and now Leatherface made them stronger. Spirit was also slightly nerfed with that collision thing I guess but still not „nerfed into the ground“

i actually see answers like "Youre right, thats [BAD WORD] up man, hopefully you can have better games next time" more often than the others you have listed though?
and the whole „rank means nothing“ is also a SOMEWHAT valid argument, because you do have variable skills at all ranks.

even if many surv players play like this or try to, many do not even succeed and make it tremendously easier for the killer and harder for the surv team.

They shouldn’t stop with licensed chapters, they are well received and newer licenses get more cosmetics than older..
but I agree 3 full chapters one after another seems a bit much for licenses. But it really depends on the licenses..

others say they hate licensed content because it costs money..
they can’t just add cosmetics sadly, they need approval of the license holder and they also have to give some of the income of it to that license holder.

Okay seriously. Why is an 11 year old even interested in DbD? I mean I know there are kids in that age that can process it well enough but there are reasons why this game has an age restriction..

Alien. But probably as 5th anniversary DLC with all the hype. Give me Ellen Ripley. Amanda Ripley as Legendary skin. Make Jones a Ripley perk using a simple AI.
i don’t care for FNaF. I watched 1 min of gameplay to know what the fuss was about and.. well based on that I wouldn’t want it XD but I would give it a chance as DbD DLC..

We don’t know yet. And while there is code that suggests cross progression implementation, we don’t have official confirmation if it is coming for real. They are probably negotiating with the different platforms.
i think it’s unlikely that DLCs will be cross progression. People who have bought the same DLCs will feel scummed or need compensation. They would also loose potential income because people playing on multiple plat would only need to buy a DLC once.

survivor found hatch first and with enough time to jump into it before you closed it. How is it cucking the killer if you already killed the other 3 and the last only got out with hatch? You already won.
You as killer already have the advantage in being able to traverse the map faster and without having to care about being found. If you see the hatch first you can just close it.
if you know where it is and hook the 3rd surv you will always be there in time to close it before the surv escapes even if they were sitting on the hatch.

This is something the devs acknowledged and I think they said the new MMR based matchmaking will take every killer separate. Not sure if that was definitely confirmed or just something they said might come..

On a real note you do realize this person posted to give feedback if you think its wrong to give feedback sorry to be the one to tell you but you and the 8 others who liked your post are the problem and why this game will remain in a total snore fest because you like the developers dont take feedback seriously.
Feedback that either directly insults the devs or that says „I will leave for good“ are not really constructive though. I would say the devs listen way more than they get credit for.
also the person actually said the main reason is the toxic community, with death threats etc and the devs do take these kind of things seriously if they get properly reported. They can’t really take action before though..

I am just guessing but it seems there is a general bug with offerings and not specifically for the cake.
i at least got some matches where my offerings didn’t do anything (one was White Ward or what’s it called) but I also had the offering still in my inventory. It seems to be connected to that bug where your perks are not shown in the after game board..

i wouldn’t like the effect if it disappeared, it doesn’t make sense at all and while this game is far from realistic some touches are very much appreciated

Some leaks point to licensed as of now.. but this could obviously change and is no guarantee.
Jason is unlikely due to licensing, Predator has its own asymmetrical game that’s fairly new iirc and Alien is owned by Disney and personally I think if they get it, it will be a good 5th anniversary addition because how big the franchise is! (But pls prove me wrong, I want Alien now!)
Candyman is just very likely, and I want to see a bee-based power!

Problem with Marvel or DC characters as survivors is their power though. If it is implemented as perks then it’s not tied to the character and would not make sense at all. Same goes with characters like Buffy by the way..
I don’t want to see characters from completely non-horror licenses like The Office.. but that’s just personal preference, nothing in the lore really limits them to horror franchises.

Yes please. For me personally it’s almost as iconic as Scream. We also have multiple knives so I see no problem with 2 hook hands.
i don’t see a real power though, another stalker perhaps?

You don’t have to like them nor buy them.
those sets are designed to be a set and next to clipping issues there are just design choices like Neas hoodie that prevents mixing it with other cosmetics. It’s really not that big of a deal and actually makes new designs possible like actual dresses etc.

Instead of one in dying state you have one broken who wasn’t injured before and one with deep wounds (or wait those few seconds, if they bodyblock it makes it easy) and both pretty much directly in front of you. Sounds like pretty good pressure for me (if it’s not near open gates of course).

i think blindness could use an additional effect like tunnelvision or blurred out vision in distance

I think Head On gives the same amount of survival points and can be used multiple times during one match.

Well, if it is a horror anime it wouldn’t feel that out of place. mentioning Myers, Freddy and Demo can seem weird as well but it actually works well in DbD

many people think that Alien wouldn’t fit at all and that Demogorgon was a mistake to add. And a franchise doesn’t have to be on the same level as those to be considered.
i just think the translation of the art style from anime to DbD wouldn’t work well, but considering that the Ring girl originated from an anime sheds a new light on this. Darkness and twisted lore can still be there independent of anime, sexuality or hotness.

Yeah I really hope they added it in that survey question just because it is a popular medium and not because they actually consider an anime license..
Comics and Books are already hard but may be possible (though most fitting I know of have a movie adaption) but anime or manga style clashes way too much with the DbD style
