I used to play on console back in 2017. Now I play on PC.
If I had to guess how much money I've spent on DbD, I'd say $150 - $300 USD.
-
Unless you can prove intentional griefing, the report will likely be thrown out.
-
The devs have already said they like the effect of Franklins Demise. Pretty sure I even heard Mathieu say something like "too bad" during a Q&A when someone asked about Franklins.
If you don't want to lose your item, then don't bring any. Problem solved :)
-
A Mouse and Keyboard are far superior to a controller, so I think adding the hardware support for console players is a good idea.
Not to mention, PC players can plug in a controller. Fair is fair.
-
DbD is a game with a lot of potential being held back by devs that make poor decisions.
-
I wouldn't worry about your survivor rank. Rank 1 survivor isn't anything special. You do see a higher number of more experienced killers and survivors, but that's about it.
If you really want to rank up, then you'll have to grind through a lot of games. Obviously you'll win some and lose some. Eventually, you'll make it to rank 1.
-
The hatchet hitboxes need to be generous otherwise shots would be very hard to land given the map design.
-
It's because there's no other alternative.
-
Spine Chill is not a training wheels perk. There are certain situations where you will not be able to see the killer coming until they're right on top of you.
Also, Spine Chill gives you some action speed buffs, which some survivors like combining with other perks. An example being the fast vault build: Resilience & Spine Chill.
So if you want to ditch Spine Chill, that's fine. Just realize that you're giving up some environmental awareness.

Dead hard cannot be used to dodge hits anymore. I've just stopped trying to dodge a hit to save the frustration of seeing my character fall to the floor exhausted with no animation. It's still BS for its main use though, which is for distance. That works 100% of the time.
I think you're right. I remember back in the day you could dodge hits more reliably. But now it seems you have to use DH earlier or risk getting hit.
But like you said, DH's main strength is being able to gain extra distance. The killer has no way to counter that (aside from add-ons).
I wish the devs would fix Dead Hard but also make some of the maps less safe for survivors.
-
Welcome to solo survivor.
-
Spine Chill. I honestly feel naked without it.
-
Blight and Huntress are currently the most fun killers to play.
Nurse used to be the most fun killer back in day. Unfortunately, the devs took away the fun factor because survivors complained about her so much.

I was a killer main but I pretty much haven't played for 10 months. This game is going to have to do something really impressive to get me to come back. Until then, I won't be helping your que times.
A two killer mode would be really awesome imo.
-
Healing etiquette goes out the window if I have healing challenges.
-
The perk design itself is not overpowered, but on some maps DH is a brutal perk to play against. Survivor-sided maps are even more painful for killers when you add a few Dead Hards into the mix.
There is absolutely zero counter play for a normal M1 killer if survivors use DH for extra distance. The survivor is practically guaranteed to make the window or pallet.
If map design wasn't so abysmal, killers wouldn't complain as much as about DH.

You mean like... Billy?
Yeah, we all know how THAT turned out.
Billy wasn't as popular as Huntress among streamers. That's why I think Huntress gets special treatment.
-
The only reason that add-on hasn't been reworked again is because the devs like Huntress. She's a popular killer in the community.

I think the only reason DBD has lasted this long is there is no real competition. It's like when a new MMO comes out. There's usually an exodus of players moving to the newer game because they are bored of the old one.
It's like Scott said, as soon as one of the big developers decide to copy the DbD formula, the game is history.
-
Yeah, I have to admit Scott really hit the nail on the head with this video.
People have been saying the same things about BHVR for a long time now. I'm just glad one of the big streamers finally had the guts to say what most players are thinking.
-
If you're burnt out on multiplayer games, definitely give some single players games a try. You can play them while you look for a new multiplayer game.
-
Yeah, the news aesthetics are pretty great. The staircases really impressed me.
-
Yikes. This PTB has so many bugs.
-
Take a guess...

The only change I think it needs is the ability to mix and match unowned cosmetics while browsing to see what a custom outfit would look like.
I'd like to see that as well.
-
Wow, two extra meters of aura range. Talk about a buff.
-
Now you know why a lot of killers dislike red ranks.
-
I saw on Reddit that Spine Chill is bugged. Seems like a few other perks are bugged as well.
The devs better fix Spine Chill. It's one of my favorite survivor perks.

I´d love to have some fat survivors. Something like the clown.
You already have Jane 😁

Only inexperienced survivors care about DS.

So basically cheat.
If you say so. Those type of monitors have been around for a little while now.
They are really nice to have for certain games. I also use a crosshair for Star Wars Battlefront 2. Some of the heroes have really wonky crosshairs, so being able to add your own is convenient.

There's free options to do this with software. You don't need a monitor with this function
Using a software program could be risky. The anti cheat system might detect it.
Monitors are nice because you can just press a few buttons.
-
If you're on PC, invest in a monitor with built in crosshair overlay. Makes a huge difference.
Other than that, hold the hatchet for a moment to see how the survivor jukes.
You can also try running Shadowborn. That perk makes Huntress more comfortable to play (imo).
-
There's no excuse for Wraith not to have his cloak movement speed buffed. People have been suggesting that simple change for a while now.
-
Because BHVR moves slow as molasses when it comes to changes that benefit killers.

I don't understand why the devs are so eager to add some sort of power cooldown mechanic to every killer they rework.
I don't understand either. It's even stranger when you consider Nurse already had a built in cooldown (called fatigue).
-
I think it would be fun at first, but then get old after a while.
-
I've never gone against the same killer 14 times in a row. That sounds bizarre.
-
The Survivor Empire won a long time ago. Where have you been?
-
I don't bother with Nurse anymore because having to wait for two cooldowns is asinine.
Maybe one day the devs will make Nurse fun again.
-
I actually did notice a number of AFK killers while I was ranking up. Seems like there's a new wave of killers who are sick of red ranks.
I wonder why 🤔

ye pretty bs tbh no one deserves death threats
Death threats are always unacceptable.
But heavy criticism for delivering a lackluster game? Understandable.
-
You and I both took a 3 month break lol. Like you, I was hoping the game would be in better shape.
One thing people have to keep in mind is that the devs move slow as molasses when it comes to balance changes. And when it comes to changes that benefit killers, the devs move even slower.

You mean, like a decent thorough tutorial of some kind?
I don't know. Probably wouldn't hurt.
What would be most helpful is if survivors played the killer role more. I think that would help a lot.

i have no problems with the game it self but thats just me
Unfortunately, a lot of people do. That's why CDPR is under fire right now.
-
Another thing that would help is if survivors would actually learn how to play the game and not make silly mistakes all the time. That alone would fix most problems.
-
I'm willing to wait and see what the devs do.
But I don't want to wait several months for something that should have happened a long time ago.

Yeah, that was a long time ago.
You talk as if Killers get 1 spotlight each.
I don't even think Wraith needs another spotlight. Most people would be happy if the devs gave Wraith a buff to his cloak movement speed.
That shouldn't be too hard to accomplish. It's baffling to me they haven't done so already.

i love it didnt had many problems on my pc rig
I wasn't referring to any technical problems. I played it on PC too. The game is simply unfinished. Way too many missing features.
-
I'm a bit late to the party, but I've already played Cyberpunk 2077. The foundation is good, but the game needs a lot of work.
