They are way more likely to give a okey for a mini map tho.
Also, you can barricade these stuff but how would you handle exit gates then?
The one from the main lobby stays the same. The one in the back could be more difficult because of how cramped everything is but it still would be accessable.

This would bring other problems.
They will need the okey from Capcom and how would you handle Exit gates then?
And how would you split the map with the stairs, holes and drops?
Also wouldn't they still need an okey from Capcom for minimap? Unless they did a super generic one that doesn't fit at all.
... Stairs get barricades, holes and drops get filled. The Main Lobby would be in two versions.

And?
If the map is that bad for you guys, how in the world can you be against anything that makes it better than?
They are 100% not going to remove or rework it since the Layout it supposed to be like that, so we need another solotions like a mini map and for people who cant handle the map, there is no reason to be against stuff like that.
But yea, removing something is always the only awnser i guess.
One suggestion that is going around a lot is making two RCPD's. The top floor and bottom floor. This atleast makes the map not as big.

Where did i said that?
Thats why i suggested a Mini map, to help the ones who didnt played it.
Doesn't the fact that a map needs a minimap say enough then?

It doesn't?
I swear it does.

For plunderers you have aura. Pharmacy is focused on the first chest mainly. Small game is cool in soloq but useless in swf. Why make it base countdown?
These are the only chest related perks without tokens. Plunderer's is availble to new surivors. I'm not saying we need a chest tracker, but just responding to the suggestion.
Why make it base countdown??
-
Small game.
(I still dunno why they added that to small game only and not like in general but yeah)
As for chests, they could give it to Plunderer's or Pharmacy I guess?

"Third, I don't know if you've ever tried to hit a skill check in chase (i.e from Overcharge), but that's actually very hard, not in a skill-based way, more so in a BS way."
Why are you gen tapping in chase anyways?
Gen tapping shouldn't even be a thing so you deserve to get overcharged
They are describing the same situation you want to implement. Skill checks during a chase = Overcharge skillcheck (while running)
Btw, love how you ignored the other points and went directly to this.

You can follow-up to rift challenges after each game, because it will automatically open to show you progress. So how is that so unique again?
Actually, in-game tracker for challenges would be nice.

That might be a problem, but I do think that it isn't solved by NOED, and we'd be better off reworking NOED and turning some of the communal perks into better picks.
Though to be fair, the survivor communal pool is pretty terrible too, outside of Spine Chill.
Don't forget Kindred! And I guess Small Game?

Most of the time it's not the hitbox issue, it's the latency issue. Think of grabs for example or pallet hits (which are being adresssed).

I have nothing more to say to convince you.
Deep down you know that the way you use discord in this game is a tool to gain an advantage over others.
Assuming you are one of the users.
I keep my argument to create normal game in games and a major flaw . And the door to the advent of lazy players and lame excuses like: ''๐ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ฃ'๐ฉ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ ๐ข๐ค๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ง๐๐ค๐ช๐จ๐ก๐ฎ''' ''๐พ๐๐ฃ ๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฌ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐ค๐ข ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ค๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฎ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฉ ๐๐จ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ง๐ฉ๐ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐ '' among others.
You're right. Because it's just a bad idea.
EVEN IF Discord is whitelisted, people will use other ways to communicate OR they would just throw games as I said. Communicating is both a tool to gain advantage and a tool to chat with friends. People use it in that 2 ways. They can even combine the two, having a chat while giving out some info. HOWEVER denying one of those without other (non-custom game) alternative is just bad design.
I do play in SWF. I also play solos quite often (I would say more often than SWF) and killer occasionally. Just if you wanna know.
Normal mode is for players that want to chill, have fun and try out something new. Would you play that mode? It's clear you don't like SWF communicating so I would assume no and would go in ranked mode.

Introducing another mode will only make things worse man , it takes time to perfect an update , imagine this toxic community in normal mode would be hell .
Games you may know have introduced modes like this and increased players' frustration.
There is only abuse of discord the ranked mode works!
And as I said, giving a whitelist for Discord for higher rank would also be hell. People would be suiciding on hook left and right to be lower rank.
Games you may know have introduced modes like this and increased players' frustration.Nope. The games are just big enough to warrant having two game modes (which started with normal mode, not ranked)

All competitive games have a limit to rank up with friends.
Why if not everyone on the server will become rank 1, and this is the healthy proposal you have?
All competitive games also have 2 modes - Normals and Rankeds. Dbd doesn't.
But that limit is also reasonable. For example (if we took dbd rankings to heart) we could make it so only people with max 4 rank diffrence can queue together.
Hovewer this does require making a 2nd mode.

This way the behavior pairing goes up in the air, the new players who arrive will not have anyone experienced in the game to help them, they will end up aging at rank 20 and will eventually get tired of the game and leave.
But it's ok, have fun with your friends while the game lasts.
But your way does nothing except promote deranking to play with friends... which I doubt would be very healthy.

This still happens. Nowhere did you mention anything about NOED just saying "HEY! YOU ALL EXPOSED!". And if it does work like this now... why?Survivors can know for a fact that if not everyone has been hooked, the exposed status cannot happen.
And again, this still happens. And actually you have less counterplay now with increased % movement speed. Its a total guess whether a killer has NOED. if you can first off see them going faster (Which is much easier with the haste buffs) you know it exists, and as I said before if you know somebody hasn't been hooked all game you know you are safe from being instantly downed.
This was fixed. Good job! However - What do you mean by doing badly? Cause for me it's when the killer has like 1-3 hooks by the time 4 gens are done. Which usually means, the survivors could've and should've just done totems.1-3 Hooks by endgame, unless you went against a comp team is IMO poor performance. I don't think expecting survivors to cleanse all 5 totems is reasonable, even if the killer made a lot of mistakes that costed time, especially on maps like Hawkins or red forest, and/or you are solo. (sorry about the wordy sentences)
Does the killer see the "NOED"? Will killer just be dissapointed when literally nothing happens because one survivor decided to do this one random totem that fortunately for them happenned to be NOED?If the associated dull totem was cleansed early, it would explode and make a loud noise notification as if any other hex had been cleansed. No sadge endgame surprises for the killer. Sorry I did not make this clearer.
And this was also fixed technically.Thank you for acknowledging this!
... ? Okay now that's a first.I suppose our experiences are different, but this has happened to me a handful of times, as well as I've done it as killer. If you want to see a video of it happening, just make a quick google search. Plenty of videos out there.
- But if everyone has been hooked then it can happen... just as it is now. It CAN always be in play. And you're basically saying "don't get hooked" as counterplay.
- And again, this still applies. Just it's slightly harder to see. ^
- That's why there are 4 ways to destroy totems - Small Game, Detective's Hunch, Maps and newly added Counterforce. Everygame I'm running Counterforce, I manage to destroy all totems or 3-4 (cause the team destroys the rest).
- Alright.
-
I'm just gonna counter arguement your main issues and how you didn't exactly fix or reduce all of them. (And I assume that was your plan)\
- It is a frustrating to be the NOED dummy that gets downed before the hex is cleansed.
This still happens. Nowhere did you mention anything about NOED just saying "HEY! YOU ALL EXPOSED!". And if it does work like this now... why?
- It has no meaningful counterplay for the person that gets downed with it.
And again, this still happens. And actually you have less counterplay now with increased % movement speed.
- It is an overall weak perk primarily used by players that do poorly during a trial, essentially rewarding them for nothing.
This was fixed. Good job! However - What do you mean by doing badly? Cause for me it's when the killer has like 1-3 hooks by the time 4 gens are done. Which usually means, the survivors could've and should've just done totems.
Note that I do not consider doing all 5 bones to be reasonable counterplay, and included in my rework is a new way for NOED to spawn but with more counterplay. Why is that? You counter it, by not making it appear. Or counter it by killing the hex after it appeared. Y'know, like a normal hex. You have 4 ways to counter totems
Oh and also
NOED now selects a specific dull totem to manifest itself in, and if that dull totem is broken before all generators are completed the Hex will remain inactive.Does the killer see the "NOED"? Will killer just be dissapointed when literally nothing happens because one survivor decided to do this one random totem that fortunately for them happenned to be NOED?
- The perk is overall weak if you are good at the game.
And this was also fixed technically.
- When it is used by good players, its usually because they are pretending to be new until the exit gates are powered.
... ? Okay now that's a first.
-
Hex: No One Escapes Death will no longer bring the exposed status effect. Instead, it will block 1/1/2 out of the last three generators for 20/40/55 seconds. Along with this, it will no longer be a hex perk.Well, I guess you can escape death then. It's corrupt intervention!... but worse technically? I guess it depends on the situation.
Zanshin Tactics will also decrease aura reading abilities for pallets and windows by 2% for survivors.Just... what?
No Mither will no longer allow you to fully recover from the dying state. Instead, you will see the killer's aura whenever you are inflicted with the Exposed Status effect.... ? Did you just nerf No Mither or am I misreading this.
When in a loading screen, you are able to turn on Killer Factoids when in survivor. This will allow captions such as "Facing the...." and "How to..."This destroys stealth killers. So no.
-
No, actually.
You know how easily you can rank up while still wanting to have fun as survivor?

Though i still lost a point in my survivor rank progress as i just reached rank 15 then after that last match i went back down to 16 for that fatality move and i feel thats unfair bs to lose rank progress for a fatality from the bad killer. And we should not be deducted from our progress for fatalities.
You lost progress because you didn't do enough within the Emblem system.
If they killer hooked you normally instead of using a mori/devour hope then you would still have silver (if you survived enough) emblem.
IF the moris worked like in the past (after one hook) then yes, I could agree. However, because you now need 2 hooks, you no longer need that. You would most likely die anyways.
Unless you mean Devour Hope? But the fact that she got 5 tokens without the totem being destroyed or her getting "scammed" out of tokens should be rewarded.
-
Dying by hand isn't any diffrent than dying by hook.
-
My only question is, why would you ever want to Main Event with your changes then?
-
In the recent dev update, for the new ptb, they're increasing the duration to 30 seconds. So you can hold it longer.
(Also you need more knives to activate it, but you start throwing knives out faster)

the problem is that survivors get toolboxes, medkits, and flashlights for the event too. Iโd rather have the cakes for sure. I spent a million on Meg to get 16 cakes, and half a million on Myers to get 31. I was getting them with Myers 3 at a damn time.
That's still hilarious.
Survivors have 4 event things to get yet only max 2 spots per bloodweb for an event thing.

Ds/bt are defenses for the survivors against certain playsytles of killers. If the killer don't uses these playstyles, ds/bt will never affect him. Also what exactly benefits you from people not having the ability to use ds/bt at the endgame? So you can stand next to the hook and down the freshly unhooked survivor again without them having a chance to do anything? The player should have at least a chance to do something. Thats where ds/bt comes into play so they are not the puppet of the killer.
Saying we need to disable ds/bt so you can get your deserved one kill at the end, even though you probably didn't play that good, is the same as saying the last survivor should get the hatch, even though they also didn't play good, because they deserve it. Also you can still go for the unhooker and make a trade out of that, don't see why you have to go for the guy on the hook again.
Noed would still have its effects, only thing is you have to snowball now instead of waiting next to the hooked person, i.e. you have to actively do something (same as bloodwarden) to get the effect. Survivors coming back at the end is the price you pay, if you can't fulfill your objective. Would be the same if survivors say we have no chance when we are only 2 so we need a perk that lets us instantly repair gens if we tap it. If you want to force people out, then activate the egc or try to build up pressure.
Since the archives are in play, there is more players that cleanse totems thats correct, but you could also increase that by giving people a better reason to do more bones which equals more time. I have more fun having more time when gens are not done as killer, than when all gens are done and i have to rely on a hex.
Also you can still go for the unhooker and make a trade out of that, don't see why you have to go for the guy on the hook again. They're injured, while the unhooker isn't? The injured survivor tries to body block someone else with BT/DS (because clearly that was tunnelling, right?)? Just 2 situations.
Would be the same if survivors say we have no chance when we are only 2 so we need a perk that lets us instantly repair gens if we tap it.You still have to catch survivor, fyi. It's not like noed gives you a magical insta win on the chase. It helps, ofc but it won't help that much if you're not good to begin with.
Since the archives are in play, there is more players that cleanse totems thats correct, but you could also increase that by giving people a better reason to do more bones which equals more time.Oh you mean, noed isn't a good enough reason? We have 3 great totem related perks AND maps to even help with getting rid of noed

The fact that they didn't improve it at all is just sad at this point.
I was atleast expecting this part to be consistent. Nope.
