I find that I rarely ever turn to using the scamper now that it was changed. Chucky used to be fun to play with the manual scamper ability but now it's just not the same. Which is a real shame because Chucky was my favorite killer up to this point. I keep hoping the devs will return his ability back to how it was.
-
This has also happened to me before many times. Playing killer, about to win the match, and then the game suspiciously crashes. I lose all my bloodpoints and the survivors get to keep theirs.
-
Yes, please switch Chucky's scamper back to what it was! It played so much better before the change.
-
Yes, I agree. As killer I feel the generators are still powering on much too quick.
-
Freddy/The Nightmare is the only licensed character in DBD that hasn’t received any special treatment with dlc since his introduction. I find that awfully sad. Where’s the love? C’mon Behaviour, you know better than that.

I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but right now it feels like playing the Killer is like saying, "I WANT TO LOSE THE NEXT 40 GAMES IN A ROW!" On loud speaker.
Honestly, that's how it feels at times. Made only worse by SWF players. The teamwork, coordination, everything makes it far too easy for Survivors to dominate.
I know I know, y'all are gonna say: "You suck, get good lolz noob."
But I've been playing since Ghostface was launched, and it's just getting worse and worse to play as a killer. I have to deal with Boons, fast as hell healing, fast as hell gen popping, and keep track of four different survivors who are likely using coms to keep track of me so I don't know theres three on a gen and next thing I know is Pop, Pop, Pop, escape.
Honestly, I can run perks like Corrupt Intervention, Discordance, Ruin, and so on to only slow them down so much. But when you got a team that can bully you so easily, what is the point in trying?
Hell, I popped into a Twitch streamer after a game to tell em they did good, and all I heard was him and his three friends trash talking me left and right saying I need to uninstall. Bro, y'all got decisive strike, borrowed time, two of you had tool boxes with brand new parts, one had a medit and a flash light. Every time I got someone down, all three were body blocking so the third could get a flashlight save.
How are killers supposed to feel strong in this game with this kind of stuff? I'm doing the best I can and it seems like no combination of perks, killer, or map makes it any bit easier.
Im honestly thinking of just dropping the game for good. Every time I start I game all I can think of is, oh great. Here's another SWF trash talking me on Twitch again.
Yep, couldn’t agree more.
The game is in a seriously bad state. I mean it’s always been bad, but we’ve sunk into an even newer, more disgusting, revolting badness of bad.
Like layers of an onion falling away as the core becomes more exposed. It stinks big time and causes further tears to flow.
The developers need to sink their hands deep into the mess and muck, destroy suffocating game design clogs, and finally fix this f*ck!

I’ve been waiting on a Child’s Play chapter. So if we get Chucky, then you just got to have Andy too. 🙂

Freddy definitely needs a little bit more content.
Yeah, I have to agree on that. It’s about time for us to get some Freddy cosmetics!
He has looked different in every film, so there shouldn’t be much reason not to have additional skins. The design from ‘New Nightmare’ would be interesting!
My second choice though is Myers.
-
Since the last change to the clown when they added these ‘antidote’ bottles, I can’t say I’ve actually found any good use for them.
I’d prefer if they revert back to the way he was before with only the original tonic bottles.
-
But placing the traps under the lever is all part of the fun! 😋 Don’t take away any last remnants of fun left in this game; There’s been far too much of that happening already.

Since they’ve added Victor, I can see them adding a short killer like Chucky. Victor can’t hook survivors though so I don’t know how they would do that with Chucky.
See my above linked comments for how I think they may be able to achieve that.
-
For sure, that would be cool as well! 😊 His familiar laugh and little Good Guy sneaker footprints.

Here are some links to previous comments of mine discussing how I think Chucky could work in DBD:
what killer would you like to see in DBD? - Page 2 — Dead By Daylight
Part 4: How would you feel about Childs Play in DBD? — Dead By Daylight

The Child’s Play/Chucky license is the one I’ve been looking forward to the most being a part of DBD. I hope they can make it a reality!

How would he pick you up or reach the hook tho?
An idea I had for that would be that Chucky could drag the survivor to a hook instead of carrying them.
The entity could lower the hook once he gets into range of it. Then once the survivor is hooked, the hook lifts back upward.
An alternative to that could be once Chucky is in range of a hook, a pedestal lifts up from the ground, making it easier to reach the hook.
As a third option, perhaps Chucky wouldn’t have to carry or drag the survivor at all. Similar to The Executioner, Chucky could send the survivor to a hook or other contraption much like the Cage of Atonement.

Where is Mr. X? He’s living it up on the streets of rage of course! 🙂

For original survivors definitely not.
for licensed ones -if there is a fitting character in a horror movie/game/etc then i guess it’s possible. For example Bishop, the android from Alien 2. Though the Alien franchise does have better fitting characters that should be survivor.
I see what you mean. Although, Bishop looks entirely human anyway, which would defeat the purpose of wanting ‘non-human’ looking survivors.
-
Not really. There’s a vast library of classic movie monsters I’d enjoy seeing added more so before any of the modern ones.
-
I’ve tried playing as the nurse many times throughout the years, yet I still cannot get the hang of her design.
I find she’s very ineffective, with the blink function being such a total frustration to use.
Definitely my least favourite killer.
-
I really enjoyed playing as Freddy, but since the new revision, not so much. That also goes for Leatherface.
The developers keep changing the way killers function, and not always for the best in my opinion.
I settled on Michael Myers for now as his design has changed little since release, and I know what to expect when playing as him.
-
“Sorry Jack, Chucky’s back!”
I’d love to see a Child’s Play chapter added to DBD! 🙂
-
Child’s Play Chapter! 🙂
-Chucky as the killer.
-Andy Barclay as the survivor.
-The doll factory as the map.
-
I would still really like to see a chapter that includes Chucky!
If they could somehow get Brad Dourif to drop a few lines for the audio, that would be amazing! Similar to how Bruce Campbell stepped in to offer lines for Ash.
-
Child’s Play Chapter!
I would love to see Chucky as killer, Andy Barclay as survivor, and the doll factory as the map.
-
Yeah, Pumpkinhead would be cool as an added character!
There are many classic horror movie monsters that DBD could still incorporate.
-
Child’s Play Chapter!
Killer: Chucky
Survivor: Andy Barclay

The gen rush/generator progression speed I find as well has ruined the game for me. One of many things actually.
Playing matches where the generators power on so quickly, with barely enough time to catch anyone.
It’s gotten to the point where I’d rather just disconnect from a match and take the ban rather than try to compete in matches that are a lost cause.
-
I too am displeased with the new Mori change. Before I found it would help in slowing down a coordinated, gen-rush team by eliminating one or more of the survivors.
Now I find in most matches that the Mori goes completely unused, since it now relies on a second hooking, which many survivors have been able to avoid when gaining help and/or playing cautiously enough.
-
Definitely been waiting on Chucky to enter the game!
-
I would really like to see Chucky added into the mix!
I've thought of how this could be done:
He'd have his signature knife in one hand and in the other, the voo-doo doll from the first Child's Play film. Chucky would have the ability to inflict survivors with different effects by stabbing the voo-doo doll.
When hooking survivors, instead of picking them up and throwing them over his shoulder, he could drag them. The hook itself could lower to the ground once Chucky approaches with a caught survivor. Either that or perhaps the entity could raise a platform in front of the hook so Chucky could reach it.
He would be the shortest killer by far. Which I think would create some really sneaky, scary, fun gameplay!
Chucky also has different looks that could be used for cosmetic DLC. For example, his "Bride of Chucky" stitched appearance, his knife hand from the end of Child's Play 2, and various other weapons.
-
I would also like to see this done; Be able to use the same account across all consoles & PC.

This guy wants the dev to fix all "HIS" flaws so he can win...what a baby
Hook blocking takes teamwork, most maps you don't have 4 players all willing to play as a team, so really this is a one off to promote playing as a team, that IS what its supposed to be 4v1 that's why the killer has such an advantage correct? I think the dev's should add voice comms to the game for the survivors, that way it can truly be 4v1 every map. The devs have that the game is 4v1 but it really isn't.Jeez, unhappy in your life much? Someone has an opinion that doesn't match your own and they're instantly, "a baby." You're on a forum insulting others with childish name calling, and I'm the baby?
