@Nikkiwhat yeah Billy & Nurse are my least favourite on PS4. The sudden framerate dips (especially at bloodlust) kill them for me, and i’m instantly disoriented
That is the WORST. Can’t tell you how many times I went for a swing and I get Bloodlust 1 and my screen freezes for two seconds and I’m stunned with a pallet and the survivor is MILES ahead of me. Frame rates on console are awful. That is one reason I cannot play Nurse.
-
Not at all. You can unlock his perks and put it on your main killers. I’m planning on leveling up Nurse during Double BP and saving up a million for Ghostface. It is smart to save up especially during Double BP.

@MegMain98 I also have boosted games, mainly due to sounds but still boosted it happens to us all.
I can crush any Spirit with Iron will and Spine chill. It also happens to completely counter the Nurse. So my build is more powerful than you'd think at first glance :P
@Poweas Iron Will and Spine Chill is a very good build against any killer as it can easily confuse the killer. I don’t run into too many Spirit players to really consider using it. On a typical night I run into more Legion, Myers, Billy, and Huntress than any other killers.
I only use Iron Will on my Claudette because it is easiest to hide with Claudette.
You also have to hope Nurse doesn’t have Stridor as it is very common for them to run it since it is a teachable from her. A lot of Spirit players also use Stridor, then your Iron Will is pretty useless since they will always know where you are.
@thesuicidefox brought up a very valid point in another thread saying that Stridor is a great perk on Spirit since it counters her only weakness which is Iron Will. I’m probably going to test it out on my Spirit. It’s just the fact of getting used to it.

@Andreyu44 my bad then, also I get salty over Spirit myself, it's why I run Iron will and Spine chill.
@Poweas I never really personally get salty over Spirit players. Most of the time they’re hella boosted. Of course if somebody is good at Spirit you aren’t likely to survive, but a lot I’ve gone against aren’t great at tracking. I get the most salty over Legion and Billy’s chainsaw hitboxes.
Even I can be boosted at times. Last night my tracking was so off and I was playing like hot garbage. I had to stop playing after like my fourth round because I was playing awful. It wasn’t my night.

Not every killer has 90% MVM speed by default and gets stunned
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/523744#Comment_523744
Unless you're rank 20 Nurse can get mindgamed and Billy has an higher Mobility and a oneshot.
Billy and Nurse are in the same tier
A.) Nurse’s blink is 333% by default which is faster than Billy’s chainsaw. Billy has to maneuver around obstacles in his path and can get slowed, Nurse does not. Nurse with her two longest blink range add-ons can nearly blink across the entire map in two blinks. Nurse can have insane map control. I would even argue it can be better than Billy.
B.) Nurse does not need a one shot to be viable, Billy does and you can make Billy’s chainsaw useless when looping him. Billy can get looped like any other killer, Nurse can NEVER be looped. Nurse can easily down a survivor in a shorter amount of time than Billy can.
The two things that Billy has which is map pressure and a one shot, Nurse can do even better by having insane map control and the ability to not care about loops and downing survivors in a matter of seconds.
-
I personally believe Spirit is better at handling a good survivor team because she isn’t easily looped. Spirit also is not map dependent but Billy does not do good on all maps. Spirit can do good on any map.
Against randoms I’d say it is faster to win with Billy but both are reliable.
If you wanna actually pip then Billy is not that good at pipping. He doesn’t get as much chase points as most killers. Spirit can usually always pip if you do good.
The better the team is...Spirit’s viability skyrockets while Billy’s plummets.
It’s honestly a toss up but I’d say Spirit is a more rewarding killer to learn and more fun than Billy. I just think Billy is hella boring, I snooze.
-
Toxic teams are rarely actually good. They all bring in flashlights then become WAY too altruistic and fail at flashlight saves. They try and bully killers that fall for their plays but when a good killer kills them all they DC because they are getting slugged and dying quickly because they don’t do generators.
A good team will have the best looper try and grab your attention while everybody else works on separate generators and get out as quickly as possible. A good team can only really be beat by a good Nurse player. Sometimes even Spirit, Billy, and Hag can’t handle a really good team. Nurse is the best because a survivors skill is irrelevant.
-
@Pike_Trickfoot said:
I can say something more controversial. All killers are viable and there's no such thing as tiers.
All killers are viable against potatoes but if you’re saying that Ghostface is as viable as Nurse against good survivors then that is just incorrect.
-
Legion would be very basic, something we’ve seen 1000 times before. Huntress and Hag would something fresh and new.
-
@thesuicidefox I don’t run into Iron Will very often nor do I need Stridor to help me when can already easily track by footsteps.
The only way that person with Iron Will would cost you the match is if you continuously chase them. Go after an easier target...no need to chase them if they can run you around forever.
Nurse’s Calling has given me MANY downs because I got within terror radius and looked in the opposite direction and phased over to them. NC is basically a necessity for Spirit.
I agree that Stridor is useful but it is not something you MUST run on Spirit.
I just hate how it amplifies the sounds and can trick you into thinking they are right beside you when they are miles ahead of you. I tried it before and Jane’s big ass sounded like she was moaning in my ear when she was like two loops ahead of me. I hate using Stridor.
If anybody likes Stridor then go for it, I personally don’t need to use it. If I continuously get survivors with Iron Will then sure I’ll use it but when I can see Claudette healing in the corner and get an easy down I think I’ll keep NC.
That chart I’m pretty sure was before Ash’s release. I’m about 90% sure MOM pushed Iron Will out of that spot.
-
@thesuicidefox Stridor helps tremendously against Iron Will, but how often do you run into players who have Iron Will? Unless it is lobby full of Jake players (even if it is Jake players I’ll switch to Leatherface because I want my Jake face) I don’t typically run into Iron Will.
I don’t wanna have to readjust my tracking with Spirit and play boosted until I learn how to properly track with Stridor. It’s like learning Spirit’s phase walk all over again. If a player is new to Spirit then it is worth a try.
It is worth a perk slot but if you don’t run into Iron Will frequently why would you use it? Maybe 1 out of 10 games I play somebody has Iron Will and it is typically a Jake player who isn’t that great. Not saying I haven’t seen good players with Iron Will but I run into the typical Self Care, Balanced Landing, Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Decisive Strike, and Mettle of Man. Iron Will isn’t very meta with these perks around.
-
@thesuicidefox Ehh...Stridor? It is definitely useful against Iron Will but it can also disorient you. It makes survivors seem closer than they really are. You gotta get used to the the volume of their injured moaning and how far they really are from you. I usually just let the scratch marks guide me to their general direction and then listen for their injured moaning and footsteps.
I also personally think Distressing is better than M&A because with a larger terror radius it gives Spirit more of a chance for a grab since you can’t hear her phasing while inside her terror radius. M&A is better if you want to run Prayer Beads. Otherwise Distressing is better but I don’t really like either one of them.
Also, do survivors still hear Spirit making her Walugi noises when she has Insidious? Because you can still hear Huntress humming if she has Insidious, didn’t know if it was a similar situation.
Father’s Glasses is bugged by the way. It doesn’t actually show blood anymore so it is not worth an add-on slot. It was never worth it to begin with. As you said...it is pointless :/
Everything else I pretty much agree on.
-
I play to have fun. I don’t need a 4K every single time, but sometimes survivors are just so bent on ruining killers experience and trying to bully the killer. You gotta play some killers to even have a chance in red ranks.
I had a match just last night that the survivors were doing nothing but trying to bully me. I was luckily playing Spirit. If I was any other killer I would have been done for. They all DC’ed with five generators left. You have to put survivors in their place or they’ll just continue to be the same jackasses they have always been to every single killer.
Most of the time I just don’t care enough. If I wanna play Wraith then I will, I’m just prepared to not do as well as I would with a killer like Spirit or Hag.
-
Legion was never fun to play against. Ever. He was fundamentally broken, he had ZERO counterplay. I don’t agree with some of the changes made but it’s better than getting tunneled and stabbed 28 times in a row.
I still see PLENTY of Legion players on PS4. The rework hasn’t stopped me from seeing my fair share of Legion players.

Music plays after DC on shoulder is a bug for ALL killers, not just Spirit. It is probably affects mostly Spirit and Nurse, but it is overall bug.
I'm saying not about gamewide bugs, but about Spirit phase sounds specifically. Those were lowered alongside with overall survivor sounds during chase. It is next step into caressing survivors, so we, Killer mains, should adapt and deal with it. If those who claim themselves as Killer mains didnt recognize it so far (which is like around month or so), I feel pity for them.
Agreed on the DC on shoulder bug.
I’ve never personally had an issue with sound bugs as I can follow sounds pretty well. I don’t have an issue finding survivors while phasing.
I have seen some pretty bad sound occlusion though. If a survivor is behind a wall then their injured sounds are TREMENDOUSLY reduced. You can barely hear them. Same with generators that are behind walls. Sound occlusion is really bad in some circumstances.
-
Only two killers who don’t need Ruin are Nurse and Billy. They can easy down and hook survivors and fly across the map. No other killers have as much map pressure in their base kit. This is only if the player is really good with Nurse and Billy.
Even saying that, I’m never gonna say somebody SHOULDN’T run Ruin because if the team is good then you’re still always able to be gen rushed. Billy is still able to be looped and have his time wasted.
Players can run whatever they want...if they wanna run Unrelenting then it is their choice. Even if Billy doesn’t NEED Ruin, some players feel more comfortable running Ruin.
-
Nice! Spirit is really great for maxing out bloodpoints. Spirit, Wraith, Doctor, and Nurse are the ones that are the easiest to max out bloodpoints in my opinion.
I almost maxed out bloodpoints on Plague which is crazy to think of, but the survivors kept cleansing so it is basically in their hands.

With me, I choose brown addons/base on Spirit for a weird reason. I like to be challenged and if I mess up once, I lose which makes it oddly satisfying to run brown addons/ using her base.
@MegMain98 is the same I think.
Also, after a stressful game, I stomp survivors with OP ones.
@Poweas Some killers just don’t need anything except their brown add-ons and Spirit is one of them. The only time she needs purple add-ons is if it is a good SWF team and the map is huge like Red Forest or Rotten Fields. It’s just too easy to equip purple add-ons and 4K ESPECIALLY using Prayer Beads.
If I happen to lose with Spirit using brown add-ons, it is nice to equip the Saya and Amulet and know that I can always kill everybody if I REALLY wanted to. Sometimes I play a little too nice.
I can also consistently get at least 2-3 kills with Plague using no add-ons. I’m currently at Rank 4. She’s not a hard killer to play, she’s just very vulnerable to being gen rushed as she has very little map pressure. With Corrupt Purge she easily has one of the best snowball effects in the game.
-
I’ll usually use the brown add-ons on no add-ons at all. I use a mixture of brown, yellow, and green add-ons on Spirit. Once I start to get low on my yellow and green add-ons I’ll start to use the Shiawase Amulet and the Zori, I don’t like going without add-ons for Spirit because I feel slow as hell without them. Occasionally I use the fun purple add-ons but that is basically spoon feeding a victory.
With other killers like Hag, Plague, and Huntress I usually go without add-ons.

All they said she was high priority, but that isn't really saying anything.
She’s still a high priority for being a killer that they make adjustments to. I’m doubtful she is gonna get any HUGE changes as it would piss of a lot of players who want strong killers, which is completely understandable.
They would probably add some ultra-rare add-ons (same with Billy and Leatherface) and rework some of her add-ons and make very slight adjustments to her power. Not anything too major.

I honestly think billy is one of the most boring killers to play as.
Not saying he's a bad killer, just really boring.
I feel the same way. It’s very boring to play as and against Billy. I have to keep myself from falling asleep
-
Plague would be “Fun on certain maps” and Ghostface would probably be “Meh”
-
The ones I have prestiged are Meg, Claudette, Nea, Feng, and Kate. I’m currently working on Dwight. I typically like the female survivors because they’re smaller, easier to hide with, and their movements seem more smooth to me. I switch between most survivors though except David, Jeff, Ace, and Jake. I NEVER play them.
I see Meg and Claudette the most followed by Nea. I see Quentin and Tapp the least.
-
Depends on the killer. You could argue that Hag could be a stealth killer especially with Monitor and Abuse. Rusty Shackles? Spirit with Prayer Beads? One of the most overpowered and stupid builds in the game.
Myers CAN be viable but I find his non-stealth builds like Vault Master Myers more viable than his stealth builds like Scratched Mirror Myers.
Wraith isn’t very viable in red ranks. Sorry but no build is gonna make Wraith better than Myers.
Do we even need to go into detail about Ghostface?
Honestly the only two viable “stealth killers” are Hag and Spirit with specific add-ons or perks.
It takes more effort to pull off a stealth build than playing a highly mobile killer like Nurse and simply destroying everyone.
-
Spirit and Plague.
Spirit is an obvious as I’ve stated it multiple times. She’s just so good on any map and won’t be bullied like other killers
Plague I love because she is very aesthetically pleasing and she can also be quite powerful if played correctly. I can consistently kill at least 2-3 survivors in red ranks as Plague.
-
For the most part I agree except for two things.
In no way is Clown better than Hag. Hag has map pressure and the ability to cut off loops. Clown has zero map pressure and his power is only a minor inconvenience to survivors. Hag has such high potential while Clown doesn’t have much going for him. I put Hag above Huntress and Clown below Myers.
Plague isn’t as bad as people claim. She can do really well. I consistently do well playing as Plague and I’m at Rank 5. She isn’t a terrible killer, she’s mid tier.
It’s your personal experience though and we all have varying opinions.

It's getting to the point where I think that they wont rework/buff/update/whatever these Killers due to the fact that it's already too late. The longer they wait, the riskier it gets.
If a killer like Freddy is so underpowered that it even becomes a meme, they finally do something - But if some killers are too weak to be viable on higher ranks, they ignore it.
Trying to change them and bring them up to par might potentially cause an outcry by less experienced players who are stuck on low ranks and don't know how to counter some of these Killers and already thought of them as 'op'.
Maybe they've already had some great ideas for buffs but were just too afraid to make these changes since they don't want to lose a huge chunk of their playerbase.
It must be something along those lines, because I often get the impression that they don't want to change too much about the current formula.
Honestly? That's pretty sad. I would love all killers to be viable on high ranks. Frequent balancing of every Killer would definitely help this game in the long run and make it much more competetive.
Right now the balancing of the different Killers is a complete joke. Some of the worst character balancing I've probably ever seen in any game. Seriously.
I do hope this changes someday but I sadly really doubt it.
@poopman Some killers will never be viable at high ranks due to their power being weak and ability to be easily looped. The reason why Nurse, Spirit, and Hag are top tier is because they can have map pressure and aren’t easily looped. No kind of buffs is going to make Trapper and Wraith as good as Nurse and Spirit unless they can start going through walls.
The Spirit PTB is proof that the devs can make a mediocre killer powerful but Spirit always had potential. Ghostface HAS potential to be as powerful as Myers but it is gonna be based on whether or not the devs want to do something about it. Myers can permanently stalk and never have to worry about losing his entire power. Why would I play Ghostface over the more powerful Myers?
Plague could’ve been as powerful as Huntress but that isn’t the case now. I still love Plague and think she can be powerful but she can get easily destroyed but a good survivor team. I really don’t think Plague is a bad killer, she could’ve been a lot better than she currently is though.
-
Why play Ghostface when you can play Myers or Pig? Myers can stalk and expose survivors regardless if he is seen or not. Pig can crouch and have zero terror radius regardless if she is seen or not. It is just way too easy to for survivors to break him out of his stealth so he is basically an M1 killer. I believe Ghostface should naturally have a slightly lower terror radius (24 meters) and survivors should be DIRECTLY looking at him for at least two seconds before breaking him out of stealth. Maybe also a little bit shorter of a time to expose survivors? Ghostface just shouldn’t be as easily seen. Even the towering Myers is more stealthy than Ghostface.
Also, Object of Obsession shouldn’t show Ghostface while crouched. It shouldn’t show the Pig’s aura while crouched either.

And all that great visual design and lore is ruined by the goofy, annoying WWWWAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!
"Muh you face bad Spirits" is the same tired argument that every Spirit main comes up with when anyone makes any criticism of Spirits viability. From my "experience" Spirit is easy to counter because of the build I run and I know counters to Spirit (which I have already said). Yes I know the problems Huntress has because I main her and Hag (hence my name cursed hatchet). Which is why Spirit is above Huntress on my tier list, for now. If maps are fixed then she will be right above Spirit. Just because I say Spirit isn't top tier doesn't mean I say she's crap. Do you understand? Yes or no answer.
That’s your own opinion. I personally don’t have a problem with Spirit’s sounds as you don’t hear them while playing her.
Every killer has a counter, you can counter Nurse and Billy as well but does that make them any less viable? Just because you have a counter for a killer doesn’t mean you won’t still get sacrificed. They can counter your counter and you’ll be dead. All it takes is one mistake. I run Iron Will and Calm Spirit on my Claudette but I’ve still died multiple times to Spirit and Doctor.
Huntress will never be above Spirit due to the fact that Huntress is extremely slow with no map pressure and breaking LOS counters her. Both have high chase potential but I don’t see an argument for Huntress ever being above Spirit even if maps were reworked

I know what Spirit is, as I'm a big fan Ju-on and other Asian horror (Ringu, the eye, etc). You don't need to pretend to be smart and tell me facts I already know. I've countered many good P3 Spirit at red ranks by just using spine chill and not producing stratch marks. Wow what a concept, so hard right...😒
Also she gets screwed by sound bugs every patch. "tOp TiEr"
You’re such a huge fan yet you failed to realize how great they did on her concept. Who really cares what sounds she makes when she is easily the #2 killer, they did great on her lore, and her aesthetic and appearance is amazing.
You countered a Spirit. Good for you. I have countered every single killer in the game, but if they are actually a really good killer then there is no countering them. I’m not gonna sit here and say that I’m an amazing survivor because I countered a baby Nurse or I was looping a Leatherface on a map like a Asylum or Strode house. Just because you’re P3 doesn’t mean that you’re good.
If you really think that you’re going to counter a Spirit that has good headphones and uses movement to their advantage then you are sadly mistaken. Yet you sit here with Huntress as your profile picture as if she’s not totally destroyed on every single map that isn’t MacMillan and Autohaven. Every killer has a counter but the counters for Spirit is very limited and there is barely any if she’s really good.
By the way I don’t have to pretend to sound smart when you’re doing all the work for me.
-
I don’t understand why they don’t want to release viable killers. The last killer that was released that is viable in high ranks is The Spirit. That was nearly a year ago. It’s like once a year they will release a viable killer at high ranks.
2016- Billy, Nurse, and Hag
2017- Huntress
2018- Spirit
By their track record I think they will probably release a really good killer toward the end of the year.
-
Nurse should have a 115% MS baseline, no fatigue, 10 blinks, and a speed boost of 150% after blinking. Fight me XD

Huntress sounds aren't annoying and actual make sense. Anna is huge for woman so her having a lower pitch makes sense. Spirit on the other hand sounds just like Waluigi and takes away from her Asian horror. From my experience spirit is easy to counter (yes this include fully decked red rank Spirits) No need to have a fit because I said Spirit is overrated. Overrated doesn't mean crap, understand?
Spirit is based on an Onryō, a vengeful Japanese ghost. Her facial expression, movements, and phasing make sense and BHVR did so amazing on her entire chapter. It’s one of their best. If the only thing you can come up with is saying that the sounds she makes is annoying and sound like Walugi and fail the see that they did outstanding on her entire appearance then it is your loss.
If you think you can counter a Spirit then that is false. There is no countering a good Spirit. Even with Iron Will and Spine Chill. You just need good headphones and to use your ears and you’ll always catch survivors. There are many more counters to Huntress than Spirit.

I'd understand the opinion of Spirit being #2, but really? Not hard to play? There's so much more to both killers than just mechanical skill. You have to learn map pressure, mind games, how to be effective at loops, countering counterplay, etc.
Depends on how willing you are to learn the killer. I just can’t play Nurse because she’s not my playstyle and I play on console. It’s kinda hard to play Nurse. Some people might think she is easy to play.
I’ve personally played Spirit since she was released. It didn’t take me too long to learn her playstyles. She’s really good due to the fact it really doesn’t matter what map you get with her, she’s viable on any map similar to Nurse.
It takes time to learn killer in general but some killers are just easier for some player to learn. Some might learn Spirit quicker than others.
-
I don’t regret any perks I’ve unlocked. I’m gonna eventually get all the perks on the killer or survivor I’m currently leveling up anyways.
Of course nobody wants to get Deja Vu or Hangman’s Trick as their first perk but at least you’ll never get them on that survivor/killer down the road. I was lucky enough to have BBQ pop up first on my bloodweb for Huntress.
-
No killer is OP baseline. When you can run add-ons like Prayer Beads, Iridescent Head, and five blinks and pair it with an Ebony Mori then it becomes a little ridiculous. How often do players go against that anyways? It’s not like it is an every round sort of thing. A majority of your survivor rounds aren’t against anything OP.
Prayer Beads, five blinks, and Iridescent Heads are the only add-ons I think need a rework. I also believe moris should have a rework as well.
-
Best to worst
- Nurse
- Spirit
- Hag
- Huntress
- Plague
- Legion
- Pig
-
@gantes Spirit, Nurse, and Huntress easily have the highest skill cap. It takes quite a while to learn to properly play those three. I’d say Spirit is the easiest. Nurse and Huntress are quite difficult at times. Hag on the other hand I don’t think is difficult at all. I understood her playstyle in about a day or two. It’s more learning map layouts and trapping places where survivors always go. You can cut off some strong loops AND have good map pressure.
To be honest, the basic M1 killers don’t have that high of a skill cap. Sure you can moonwalk and mindgame pallets but their powers just aren’t powerful enough to be viable in high ranks.
Wow...Wraith can ring a bell, impressive. Leatherface is a less athletic version of Billy. Doctor can shock survivors to prevent a vault but all they have to do is keep running the pallet while Doctor flip flops between punishment and treatment mode. Legion? Please. Feral Frenzy is a minor inconvenience at best. Billy has a higher skill cap than somebody like Leatherface but he’s the easiest top tier killer to play for sure. I just don’t think the chainsaw is too hard to control. It doesn’t take long to learn Billy. I’m personally garbage but if I tried I’m pretty sure I can be pretty decent within at least three days. Ya know...if I don’t die from boredom first.
Some M1 killers CAN be viable like Myers, Plague, and potential Trapper if you can snowball...but a lot of them rely on survivors making mistakes and if the survivors are good then the killer stands no chance. There is a reason you see Nurse, Billy, and Spirit in red ranks all the time.

@MegMain98 I'm definitely not :P.
I do well, but most my games go to 1 gen and I snowball from the Surveillance. I don't run Ruin though (when I do it's a 4k 4/3 gens every game and it gets boring) but still I'm not as good as you. I can happily admit that.
I bet you'd stomp me in a battle of skill tbh. Also, Billy isn't braindead, I've been maining him, curving takes a lot of skill it's difficult to control it. I've got it about 20% of the way. So I'm learning him faster than I do with Spirit (only mastered 30% of her and I've played her since December 2018).
But he's not braindead, he's actually quite good. Not Hag tier, but quite solid. I will admit though, I've been getting stomped and went from rank 3 to 5 :P
@Poweas Surveillance is really good against immersed survivors because once you’ve kicked the generator and are starting to walk away, they’ll tap it or start working on it again and you can phase over to them and grab them off the generator.
I don’t need Ruin as Spirit but I use it due to the fact that I can be pretty blind at times especially to Claudette players. They will lick every single wall they can find. I can’t waste time trying to find immersed survivors when three gens are gonna pop before I can even find somebody.
I snowball a lot with Spirit. I can down three survivors in about thirty seconds if they are too altruistic. Just last night a downed a Dwight and Meg got an unhook. I got within terror radius and phased and downed the guy she was healing. Needless to say it didn’t take but about ten seconds to down the Meg. This was all within the span of thirty to fourty-five seconds. Spirit is an amazing killer at snowballing.
Of course I have bad rounds but about 90% of my Spirit rounds end up with them not fixing the last generator. Same goes with Hag.
I’ve been playing as Spirit pretty much since her release...not trying to sound egotistical but I’m pretty damn amazing with her. If a player can follow sounds and have good headphones then anybody can do great with her. I honestly believe anybody can play her if they put enough time into learning her playstyle.
Billy is kinda map dependent. He can do good on any open map but when you get Lery’s or Yamaoka it becomes an issue. It’s just not hard to fly across the map and get on the back of a survivor and insta-down them. Maybe he isn’t “braindead” like a stated but it’s not hard to learn Billy. I just find him very boring to play as and play against.

I use MYC on Spirit in my main build and I'm pretty sure that the husk does not count, the perk only relies on you being 32m away.
MYC is excellent on Spirit because it helps both in a chase and as a way to slow the game. Spirit is already super strong in a chase, so getting a one shot on someone makes her that much better. And even if you don't find the guy, since you are Spirit and can pop up almost anywhere at anytime it forces survivors to be immersed for 60s and not take any risks. That means they likely won't go do a gen, and if they hear or see you they will hide which is wasted time for them. Also, it discourages survivors from healing at the hook, so you end up with a bunch of injured survivors after a while because people are scared to heal you right away.
@thesuicidefox MYC is amazing Spirit. I think MYC is more useful on Hag and Nurse but it is very useful on Spirit as well. I ran it for a while but I typically don’t make my way back to the hook unless I can’t find another survivor or the survivors are super altruistic. I swapped MYC for Surveillance. I wouldn’t definitely recommend Surveillance for a Spirit build.
I also ran Brutal Strength for a while as well but it isn’t that great on Spirit due to the fact that if they are trying to flashlight blind you through a pallet it’ll never work on Spirit regardless if you have BS or not. Spirit cannot be blinded while breaking a pallet. I’ve had so many DC’s because I’ve downed survivors after an unsuccessful flashlight blind followed by me shaking my head at them XD.

@Victory he thinks that he's untouchable vs Spirit. I can beat a rank 20 Nurse, does that mean I'm good?
He'd get stomped by me or @MegMain98 or @Blueberry and he knows it.
@Poweas The only people who think Spirit is braindead easy are people that have never played her and don’t understand how she works. A killer that tracks based on sound and grass moving by using their ears more so than their eyes isn’t braindead. You can’t pick her up over night and expect to win every single time.
At this point I can play Spirit easily but I’ve put so many hours into her.
The only killer I’ll argue that is braindead easy to play is Billy.
Thanks by the way for saying I’m a great Spirit player, you’re probably better than me at this point XD

@Eninya It should be Prayer Beads removed not the Yakuyoke Amulet.

Why shouldn’t they have unhook immunity? It’s stupid that the killer could down a survivor before they could even CONTROL their character when they got saved (which isn’t controlled by the hooked survivor because they can easily just get farmed).
You shouldn’t be around the hook anyways so if Borrowed Time goes off it is for a reason. Don’t camp and you won’t have to deal with Borrowed Time. Unless the survivors are extremely altruistic and you have no reason to leave.
Also, why would you go after the hooked survivor in the first place? Go after the rescuer, they’ll get the unhook but it puts more pressure on survivors. You have another survivor hooked and the other one is still injured. It makes no sense not to go after the rescuer.

I use BBQ, Ruin, Monitor & Abuse, and Brutal Strength. The Enduring/Spirit Fury combo is really good as well.

She is overrated. All I see from people who claim Spirit is top tier are Spirit games against predictable survivors who don't know how to counter a killer that can't see them. Is it so hard to make fake stratch marks or juke her? Not really. Plus I run spine chill and iron will so I laugh when I get spirit as survivor. You can't compare Spirit to the Nurse, she's in her own godhood that the other killers can only dream of becoming. Also Spirits sounds are stupid and Annoying.
WWWWAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
Even with Spine Chill and Iron Will, Spirit cam track with scratch marks and footsteps. It isn’t impossible. I personally breath a sign of relief when I get a Huntress on any map that isn’t MacMillan and Autohaven because every other map SUCKS for her. If you think Spirit is easy to go against then you’re wrong.
Spirit is the #2 killer after Nurse, doesn’t equal overrated.
By the way, even if Spirit’s sounds are annoying (which they are) you can’t be saying that when the bunny in your profile picture sounds like a man every time she throws a hatchet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Huntress is definitely a rewarding killer to play. I love her snowball effect, I’m just bad at playing her. Although I do play on console so it isn’t as easy as PC.
She is very map reliant. Any map that isn’t MacMillan or Autohavem sucks for her. Coldwind and Yamaoka have corn and bamboo in that easily break her line of sight. Strode house and Springwood are not good for ANY killer. Ormond has invisible walls inside the main place and it is all round and pretty bad killer map. Red Forest is MASSIVE and Huntress has no map pressure. The Game has 20 safe pallets. Do I even need to explain Lery’s?Swamp is the only other map that isn’t completely bad for her.

I learned a lot from watching Twitch streamers. I love Scott Jund’s style of playing killer.
Learn how to moonwalk, hiding your red stain and mind-gaming long wall jungle gyms will help you in cutting off loops.
Don’t be afraid of pallets. Respecting pallets makes for a tough time because you’ll be kicking pallets all games. Eat the pallet. Swing through the pallet. Sometimes you’ll hit the survivor through the pallet and you’ve got an easy down and hook.
This is all a basic M1 killer like Leatherface. Of course it would be a little different if you’re playing a killer like Nurse or Spirit.

Alot of times when I see someone just about to die on hook, ill go ahead and invest 5 seconds to stand next to it to prevent any last second saves. Thoughts?
Of course. Who wouldn’t do that? It makes your job as killer much easier. It’s common sense to ensure they die when they are that close to dying.

Huntress has "Average skill cap", I don't think were playing the same game. Spirit is not the same tier as Nurse and is the most overrated killer in the game.
Agreed on the fact that Huntress has a large skill cap. She has the highest learning curve in the game besides The Nurse. She takes a lot of practice to learn to play her really well.
Spirit had been screwed over by patches with sound bugs and her Father’s Glasses add-on not working, but she isn’t overrated. That would be like saying Nurse is an overrated killer. Spirit is just THAT good that she can easily win. I’m not gonna go into detail but she isn’t overrated. All the praise she gets is for a reason.
