No one is ever going to fail a hack in its current state, and I imagine the drones will control like crap for how easy they should be to hit in theory (think houndmaster).
Hacking needs to be more challenging. Its WAY to easy to do in its current state.

As fun as it might be to climb out of that well and scare the hell out of everyone, I wouldn't advise going down there. Plus you gotta wait for seven days before climbing back out. That's gonna suck.
I am not going NEAR that well. lol

it was confirmed to be April 2nd!
Thank you so much 🥰

Hopefully with Operation Health they will include all this stuff for houndmaster.
They did say they would fix long lasting bugs with current ones.
I am glad they are doing this. The bug reports page is full of just pending bugs. They appear to be behind or maybe short staffed in this department specifically. -

actually yea it can. If the question being asked was: "If its such a weak perk then why do killers use it?"
Simple, because using a weak gen regression is better than none or better put "its better than nothing". sad to say all killer's gen regression perks have all been gutted if not to the ground
It needs a buff I won’t argue that. So does COB or OC. When they nerfed those together it was a mistake. Only should have been when USED together instead of killing 2 perks in 1 patch update.
Eruption, surge, and undone need love. Especially eruption. Your gen kicks will be over before you know it especially if used with surge.
-
Locking on needs to be easier.
-
I like all of these ideas. There are a lot of different directions hexes could have went. We need options.

This is perfect! so people can provide input and not get her nuked…again… because of dissapointments….heheh D:
wont stop me from playing her tho!
Right! 💯
This gives people a chance to give feedback to behavior and then make adjustments to see if that’s going to work, if not back to the drawing board before I ever hit PTB or live so it doesn’t waste anyone’s time.
Also, then there will be no excuses as to why somebody doesn’t wanna go against her because they had to say in the direction character. -

So based on global feedback, you guys are designing a spider killer as we speak?
Perhaps or taking it into consideration?
-
@Mandy said:
The survey is a very small part of it, and its more data driven for our side rather than part of the feedback process. The feedback will be what we take from forums, reddit, steam etc when we post the update.
And yes, we definitely read the feedback and share the information with the design team, we wouldn't do this if it wasn't something that would be used - would be a complete waste of everyone's time. The last Design Preview on the Trickster, ensured that a design didn't go through that people weren't onboard with for the most part, hence changes are being made based on that feedback.
Thank you for your message Mandy ❤️
See? Not forgotten :) -

Bro these 20% of the current value, so in fact it's like 10%
It’s still a valid perk. If it were so weak like some people claim it wouldn’t be one of the most used gen perks used right now.
Can’t be that bad if people are slotting it.

Yeah, they will. They did it before and they'll do it again.
I disagree - I know their reputation proceeds them, but they keep bringing it up. People also seem to think because it’s not our “timing” they forgot

That's because you're counting the ENTIRE regression from kicking the generator normally.
Compare your results with just a regular old kick, and you will hardly see any difference.
Why would I do that? You’re not comparing it to regular regression in your response. You’re comparing it to COB. So in return. It’s not weak.
COB needs a buff for sure. Although, it’s not weak. Especially paired with POP. -

PC player here. Just so you know many PC players and players who have played both PC keyboard & mouse and console think controller is better. So you may wanna reconsider.
Controller is smoother. Mouse and keyboard is more killer friendly for certain killers.

Well, I think pop is currently just weak, so not really good standard anyway.
CoB and overcharge definetly should be buffed. It's weird they didn't do it with 3-gen feature already, but I guess PTSD from gen kick meta was still too fresh.
I dont think pop is weak at all. 20% is solid. COB and OC shouldnt be buffed together. 1 or the other.
-
@YamamuraVideoRentals said:
Call of brine is pretty terrible. The extra regression it provides - even over the full duration of the effect - slows down survivor efforts by less than 4 seconds. And the info isn't that great either. If you really want to know if a survivor is working on a particular generator, you could just run surveillance or gear head.
I don't think pain res and pop need even more nerfs, but other underutilized perks could see some attention.
Actually this is false about COB. Ive tested this perk in customs, Give slightly over halfway through the perk of it activated on a gen and you have almost a full pops amount of regression on the Gen.
-
I often run 4 slowdowns because I like focusing on my chase with survivors. Not worrying about silly generators.
-
So far so good. No issues here. I have gotten a different killer each time. So that was nice.

I love the killer; they are just very addon and perk reliant.
For example, I could take Legion into Chaos Shuffle and find a new spicy build. If I take Unknown with random perks, I just want to curl into the fetal position until the match is over.

I would agree or at least increase it by 5 mill.

Eyrie of Crows will be nerfed with the next Patch. And if you have problems on MacMillan… I really dont know. The original Maps are some of the most balanced Maps in the game and the variants are pretty killer-sided.
I agree that they should to changes to Badham. But then again, they can also do some changes to Haddonfield, since this is basically Badham in reverse.
There is one variation of Macmillan they really need to change where the breakable wall is suppose to help with the window nearby but it literally does nothing when you break it. You might as well leave it because it’s an infinite either way.

No, I think you should play with him more, his dashes don't even cross half the map, they go less far than Nurse's blinks and has a significant cooldown.
It was an exaggeration. My point still stands. His dashes gives him a lot of distance and mobility. They dont take long to come back. Wesker needs to keep his 40 meter terror radius. Thats just my opinion though.

@Yoshirama said:
Go Next prevention was a needed feature, we know some survivors will DC after any minor inconvenience. But let's be honest, some people DC because the match is frustrating. Tunneling, camping, BMing and some kind of nasty behaviors are also reasons on why people don't want to play a match. Punishing people for not wanting to play a game like that is not the best idea. If anti camping and anti tunneling comes, there will not be a real reason for people to disconnect, but until then, survivors will have to play with killers and teammates that will take advantage of that and just queue to make the game miserable knowing they forced to stay or eat a DC penalty.
Some people DC or go next just because of their first down in a chase. It tilted them in some way. Some do it because they don't like the killer or it wasn't the killer THEY wanted to go against OR they went up against that killer about 3 or 4 times in a row.
I look forward to the Go Next Prevention. I am over these survivors throwing my games.
-
@xGodSendDeath said:
No because the number of players that can actually play these killers to a level where they're a problem balance wise is so small you'll barely even run into them!!! If that defense is good to keep 4 man SWF untouchable it works for Nurse and Blight too
Doesn't mean we shouldn't make efforts towards balance adjustments on them..
-
Stealth killers still gets me, Sadako when I put a tape in and she comes out at the same time gets me, Unknown when I am dispelling a hallucination and he teleports to it. JESUS! Dredge still gets me in nightfall….very eyrie boogie man.

Both Chucky and Wesker cannot attack for their full c/d if they use it for traversal. Both killers that have been added to the 40 meter TR club are able to do this just fine while having insane map mobility.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3893767#Comment_3893767
The thing is, using both dashes and going on full c/d saves you less than 2 seconds in travel time. I think people see Wesker as much more mobile than he is. He can be an M1 killer and waste both dashes for mobility to save 2 seconds, or he has to walk like normal cross map. With the amount of objects that exist on maps now, there are very few situations he could even possibly use his power within 32 meters to land a hit, so it'd be impossible for him to magically appear on a survivor, unless it was a few feet away with no power.
Billy and Blight are able to appear right on top of you while using their power, or have it as they arrive.
"The thing is, using both dashes and going on full c/d saves you less than 2 seconds in travel time."
This can't be accurate. He can literally get from one side of the map to the other side with his dashes.

I thought you only don’t see her when she is demanifested and while manifested she doesn’t disappear?
Nope. Anything past 24 meters you dont see her at all. Manifested or Demanifested. However, if she is in power, that invisibility range should be lowered for (Hence Clump Of Hair Addon being basekit). To be at the same range while not in power as it is in power just doesn't make sense.
-
I respectfully disagree, and I do believe that this killer deserves the radius that he has, I do not believe that it needs to be any bigger or small smaller.
Wesker can get around the map incredibly quickly, just like Chucky, he can use his dash to attack or reverse the map.
I don’t think it would be fair to survivors if the mastermind had a 32 m radius. -

I appreciate your response. But I do feel like it's bit of an oversight If I can say, as Pig and Skull Merchant has a mix of stealth and mobility who still got theirs reduced. Skull Merchant gets a +5% Haste from the Drones when using them when placing or rotating, and still gets 24 meter terror radius.
Skull Merchant and Pig do not have mobility at all. 32 meters is the right call.
-
Just a reminder. Knockout isnt being "Nerfed" Its being reworked. The rework is a healthy change, and it seems to be a chasing perk. Not a nerf.

Yeah its odd. The hud needs to display it better. It shows the visual on the hook with Camaradie but again I don't know if other survivors see it on the survivor on hook.

Most of the new surrender options are good, but this one here incentivizes extreme hiding just like the 4% mechanic and instant death on missed skillchecks incentivize survivors giving up to go next. It pretty much suggests that, if survivors hold the game hostage by hiding for a long time, specially not doing their objective on purpose, the solution is to just give them the victory, a free escape. That's already what they aimed for with extreme hiding, but this is a change that pretty much tells them there's a good chance they get this free escape after 10 minutes, setting an official mechanic to give them a win in that scenario.
To be fair, there's another change from the Quality of Life Initiative that seems to atempt this issue… but the info it gives us is a little vague on purpose, and I understand why, it's to not let players know how to circumvent it. Still, the new change on PTB pretty much makes there ARE ways of circumvent it, and that it's still possible for survivors to hide for 10 minutes without doing gens and without being revealed, and on top of that, it facilitates THEIR win by incentivize them to leave the match instead of revealing the griefers to allow the killer to find and kill them.
What killer is just going to sit there for 10 minutes if survivors aren't doing their objective. Just hook them. Done. Next match.
