    1. High ranks are already filled with Nurses.
    2. Only bad killers need (current) BL3 to hit anybody. I don't even see (current) BL2 most of the time in my killer matches because of how I play.
    3. Why would survivor mains care about balance decisions that affect killers? They mostly care about what balance decisions affect them.

    You're grasping at straws, mate.

  • Not really.

They drop it faster which means you can break it faster. You're still able to hit the survivors. Its not like they are bringing the pallet vaccum back.
  • I dunno whats more pathetic...
The temper tantrum from OP or that this thread got over 100 replies.
  • It's literally the worst perk in the game now, now that Deja Vu got buffed.

  • @Vietfox said:

Some of us rather save other survivors, it's not all about BP.

Eventually, you reach a point in this game where the only thing you care about is bloodpoints.

  • 5k to escape. 1.5k to save the hooked survivor and potentially die in the process.

    You do the math.

  • All the Hex perks that require tokens.

Why couldn't a dull totem light up as soon as you have one token rather then have it lit at the start of the trial?

  • Everything in this game is a crutch.

  • @SnakeSound222 said:
I never said that devs were the best players in the game.

You called someone a survivor main simply because they don't think that devs are the best players in their own game.

At least be consistent when arguing with people mate.

  • @SnakeSound222 said:
It's only dumb if you're a Survivor main who uses crutches and likes having Survivor be ridiculously easy.

Your a survivor main if you think the devs aren't the best players in their own game.

It brings the best out of people too...

I've had more people be courteous and offer to farm just this first day than the entirety of the 2x BP event we had a little while ago.

This. I've had tons of matches where the survivors and killers help each other out.

Right now I'm around 70 tokens for the dress for the survivor because of farming.

  • @Visionmaker said:
Just grab Sabotage and spam/sabo the hooks.

Chances are the killer will tunnel and facecamp the saboteur so the rest of you can finish the gens.

    ... That seems ridiculously petty.

Then again what did I expect from this game...

To be fair I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have ban him if he didn't use his fans to mass report and harass player he didn't like.
I doubt they gave a ######### about his attitude and him using and advertising exploit or they would have banned him eons ago.

It wasn't just his witch hunt that got him banned.

He also showcased multiple exploits on his stream. Some of them were accidental, some of them on purpose.

    Edit: #########, I'm tired.

Here are my issues as being a survivor:

    • Most perks are actually useless for my character, especially Boil Over. But again, I have not unlocked ones I want like Decisive Strike. I can see some killers have useless perks, but most of them actually work like they are supposed to.

Survivors have more options to perks then killers. You don't even need perks like DS to perform well in this game.

    • Hook-to-Generator Number is Totally Unbalanced. A killer doesn't need a tool to destroy a generator, but a survivor needs a tool to get rid of one hook? That seems totally unfair. Also, the number of hooks should be equivalent to the number of generators. I literally just finished a game where two hooks were like 5m away from each other, not fair.

    What is Sabotage?

    • I think there should be an option to insta-fix a generator, for example, if all spaces on a generator are being fixed at the same time by multiple survivors, it should insta-fix. If a Killer can insta-kill a survivor on a hook or when a player is down on the ground, there should be the ability to insta-fix a generator.

No. That's what Brand New Part used to be before it got (rightfully) nerfed to the ground.

    • Survivors get punished for camping out too long in the same play (ie. the ravens), however, Killers do not get punished for camping out at a hook after hooking someone. That should change, killers shouldn't be allowed to strike immediately after a survivor is unhooked. Or killers shouldn't be allowed to camp out at hooks waiting for a player to die. Why punish one group of people for camping out too long, but not the killers?

Because camping is allowed. There's even a perk for for it.
It sucks but honestly suck it up.

    • There needs to be stamina for killers - survivors lose stamina after being injured, and killers should be only to run faster than a survivor for a certain amount of time. Rest for 3 seconds to regenerate. Then start up again.

No, survivors don't lose stamina after being injured. No idea where you got that from.

    • Killers have so many special powers - they can become invisible, throw things, set traps. Survivors should have something, ANYTHING (other than a flashlight) to defend themselves against a killer. Why not implement something to pick up and throw at a killer to stun them? Or add a dodge button so just at the right moment when a killer strikes you can dodge their attacks?

This game isn't about fighting the killers and there is a perk that can let you dodge an attack.

    • It really sucks, that certain killers have special powers that you literally need to heal a player twice to go back to normal. For example, Freddy, you need a player to get you out of his nightmare world, and then find someone who will heal you when injured. It is not fair. Same thing with the Pig, she can hook AND install a trap, which requires THREE steps to recover. Unhook. Get trap off. Then find a player to heal you.

Self Care or medkits. Pick your choice.

  • If they didn't, they wouldn't have hardware banned Ochido.

Oh sorry, i really thought you never actually played killer because you considered Fire Up a uselful perk.
Would you consider using DH, Lithe and Adrenaline in the same build?

Before the exhaustion nerf, I would definitely say you would have had a good build.

Now I'm not so sure... Maybe replace one of them with something else that takes longer for the killer to get you.

I already demonstrated that i play both, since i brought up useful builds for both survivors and killers. Where am i victimizing or saying that i´m a main?

You just said you were down voted by survivor mains. That alone brings up the victim complex.

  • @Tsulan said:
You asked me for 4 perks that synergize for survivors at all time, while bringing the killers version of Deja Vu (pre patch) as a useful perk (Fire UP), just to get 4 perks for killers. Then you changed to "4 perks that synergize during a chase". Then you changed again to "4 perks that help prolong the chase", and so on, and so on.

My words exactly. Name 4 perks that do the same for survivors. Not synergies well with each other.

Killers want to end chases quickly. The survivor equivalent of that is to extend them. Since survivors love to be chased as evident by how many killers are complaining that they can't catch that one guy that plays so perfectly.

It's also completely disingenuous to dismiss Fire Up since it's a perk that helps with chases. It doesn't matter how little it actually benefits you as killer, it still helps you consistently throughout the match.

Inbefore Thanaphobia can't be used with other generator stall perks to synergies a build with them (Like Dying Light, Overcharge, Ruin).

    You get the idea.

Basically you changed the subject each time i presented you 4 survivor perks that synergize perfectly. Unlike killers which really struggle to get 4 perks that synergize (that´s why you had to bring in Fire UP)

I brought in Fire Up because it helps in chases. Lol ######### are you on?

Now to the unrelated topic of the "whataboutism". I expressed an unpopular opinion and got a ton of downvotes from survivor mains. Which thought this forum works like Reddit, where people can burry a comment under downvotes, so no one can see that opinion. Funny how a survivor main commented on the survivor sub forum about how bad it is, that survivors can´t even comment on their own forum without getting toxic comments. While failing to present ANY toxic comments from others.

Because everyone who disagree with you are survivor mains. Of ######### course. Stop with the killer versus survivor mentality.

    Jesus Christ the victim complex.

Thx again for all the attention. You just made my day, by showing me, that you really care about what i write.
Sadly i can´t remember any of your threads. (appart from the 1 mentioned above).

Mostly because I don't make threads kek.

The status effect thing should only apply to Exhaustion and Hindered. Every other status should remain, especially Mangled because then what's the point of using Sloppy Butcher or certain add-ons if it only applies for one chase. I also think they should re-ka-gigger Mangled and Hemmorhage statuses. Hemmorhage should basically do what Mangled does now, and Mangled should reduce repair time. Then add-ons like begrimed chains/hatchets would inflict Mangled and slow gens, and Sloppy Butcher can go back to just doing Hemmorhage but basically be unchanged in terms of it's effects. It just seems odd that we have this specific debuff for begrimed items that's not a status effect. It'd make more sense as a status effect, and then we could get perks or more add-ons that inflict it.

Regarding the Kindred stuff I think that's a bad move. Instead, you should just see other survivors only within say 16m of the hook. Then when you have those situations where everyone is circling the hook for the save other people can see someone in a better position and bait the killer to a chase, or just go and do gens or something more important. I think that would be more reasonable and would definitely help solo survs without being way too powerful for SWF. If you want full range and killer aura then you should have to run Kindred.

The rest of the stuff seems like good changes. I know killer mains will REEEEEE all over the place, as if they are the only ones in need of gameplay fixes, but truth is there is some BS stuff that happens to survs too, namely the new vacuum-less pallets favor killers way too hard. It's too easy to just swing through a pallet and almost always get the hit even if they dropped it at the right time.

    Basically this.

Kindred would screw over killers if it was built into the base part of the game. Having so it would reveal survivors in a certain radius is a great idea.

The Blood Lust nerf is like the exhaustion nerf. Pointless. Only bad killers will be affected the most by it. Blood Lust was always a band-aid to fix the real problems (which was the maps).

Everything else is either to prevent farming or quality of life changes.

  • @Tsulan said:
"There´s a difference there" means it´s the equivalent of playing the full game?
    What??
BTW. How did the perks i recommended you work out for you? Ohh wait, yes i almost forgot. You were only trolling. Nevermind then.

I'm not the one that brought up that players who aren't interested in PTB are sabotaging the game.

Also it's amazing how you bring up those perks up when I clearly stated that I was trying to find 4 survivor perks that all work around the same time that help extend chases. Since you claimed before that killers can't use 4 perks at once during a chase to help end it.

BTW if we're going to bring up everything unrelated to this topic, tell me. Did you feel happier now that down votes are gone? If memory serves you made 2 separate posts because you couldn't handle that you got down voted while arguing about 'Whataboutism'.

    Poor you.

  • @Tsulan said:
Might wanna reread everything. I said sabotage the PTB. Not the game. There is a difference there.
But then again, i´m talking to you.
    LuL

Reread what I said. People that aren't interested in beta testing.
According to you testing out updates before they release is the equivalent of playing full game.
Then again what did I expect from a salt post...
    Kek.

  • @Tsulan said:
Well how would you call the last PTB where survivors just didn´t participate because there was nothing in for them? I´d call that sabotage.

People that aren't interested in beta testing are apparently sabotaging the game.

    Kek.

  • Freddy with overcharge, unnerving presence, monstourus shrine and surveillance
Surprisingly, Overcharge is a decent stall perk on Freddy.

Put them to sleep, they fail the skill check to wake up, keep repeating that until the generator goes to zero. You can also use it as bait to lure survivors back to the generator guaranteeing an easy hit.

The others are ass with him though.

Decisive Strike isn't even used anywhere near as much as it used to. We'll probably see an Unbreakable meta in the future.

Best Mither too OP please nerf.
  • Survivors are getting their way by review bombing the game.

It doesn't matter if the devs announced the bloodlust changes before the review bomb.

    Thinking...
  • @thesuicidefox said:
He's actually way better if you slow down the early game, because once you start to snowball it becomes impossible to do gens.

100% agree. Freddy is best used to slow the game down. If you rely too much on a end game build with Freddy, you'll barely get any kills.

  • @Zet395 said:
In a way, it was the same way for me. Trapping just isn't my playstyle. Taking time to place traps when gens are getting done (too fast, as usual) just doesn't end up well for me every single time.

The thing that ticked me off with him was you had to move halfway across the map just to pick up your traps, then move somewhere else to arm them. It's not like Hag where it's instant.

  • Not a fan of Trapper. Played him for 3 matches and that was it. Hag all the way.

  • Honestly?

It's about the same as survivors complaining about killers perks.

  • NOED is a decent alternative, however Ruin is far superior from it.

  • Too map dependent to be considered meta, but good to use regardless.

Smart survivors won't fall for it though.

  • @thesuicidefox said:
The problem is that all these tactics rely on the killer falling for DH. I feel like it's really hard to pull one over on good killers. You can do it once, but they will remember. That's my main issue with DH is that it's so easily countered by the killer, and yes if can save your butt in the right moment, but those moments are few and far between, where SB is good in almost any moment. Where SB can actually help you escape the killer, DH to me just seems like you are prolonging the chase rather than trying to escape. It can be a good mind freak, but all the killer has to do is remember you have it an wait and 90% of your opportunities go away.

Sprint Burst really is a problem perk...

I love Dead Hard to hell, but it does have it's own share of issues.

  • @AshleyWB said:
Tinkerer is part of my build for clown. It's bugged for me and I have no terror radius but I play fair and generally go easy on survivors because i know its broken. What do you think about killers who just want to scare survivors rather than obliterate them?

Honestly if you're just scaring them, go for it. The perk still needs to be fixed though. It's way too strong.

I just faced a Nurse that didn't have a terror radius for the entire game. It was completely bullshit.

@Mc_Harty You can totally stealth Freddy. Like I have said a million times, run Spine Chill and you can stealth every killer in the game (except EW1 Myers). Throw on Iron Will and Urban Evasion and it's even easier. The trick is to NOT CROUCH IN SOME CORNER LIKE A COMPLETE BOOB RELYING SOLELY ON THE STUPIDITY OF THE KILLER TO NOT BE FOUND. When Spine Chill lights up, walk away. Don't run, don't hide. Just walk away, far away, from where the killer expects you to be. Understanding line of sight helps.

And if I'm running Whispers as Freddy? Or the range add-ons? I can very easily find survivors that have no indication of which direction I'm coming from. Which is something Spine Chill does not do.

Also Iron Will against Freddy? That's a laugh, considering you'll have to be injured for that to work. Most of the time when survivors are injured, I don't leave them up for long, especially when playing as Freddy.

  • I main Freddy and I understand your concerns.

I'm also hoping for a rework over a buff so he'll have more flexibility in play-styles that counter him. I often compared his counters to the Nurse because of how one dimensional it is.

You can't stealth a Freddy and you cannot pallet loop a Nurse. At least the other killers have some variation to play against them.

And you're right. He desperately needs a rework more then any of the other killers.

  • Trapper - Don't like looking at the ground. I can tolerate it with Hag, but Trapper is on another level.
Hillbilly - Find him too easy. Whenever I play survivor, every killer picks him. When I play him as killer, I don't feel challenged enough. He's boring for my tastes.

  • No Mither

that's a little harsh since for someone new it's probably helpful until they learn the ropes so to speak. They'll probably need 1 or 2 seasons of resets to really get the hang of it to not depend on it so much.

For new players I don't mind. They typically don't do that well regardless.

It's everyone else that uses that perk. I'm so glad it's getting nerfed.

  • I pity anyone that needs that perk to do well.

  • Why am I on Steam forums?

    That's pretty much my reaction.
