That and they get matched with virtually anyone whose been waiting long enough. Fairness be damned.
It used to take ages to people at rank 20 to find a match on both sides. That + when they realize the grind. Just not worth it.

Should have told him to do bones.

I main Quentin
-
Everyone new is discouraged because of the abysmal grind imo.
-
I never had an issue with Hawkins on either side, I actually liked the layout.
I hope they add the same layout just with different level art.

1- Trickster Fire Moon Performer
2- Huntress Cold Wasteland Survivor
3- Spirit Marine Maiden
4- Legion- (Joey) Devil May Care
5- Trapper The Krampus

They sometimes listen to us, and other times they listen to idk who... because no one asked for that Billy rework,,,

Whatever, IDC at this point, it's the same discussions day in, day out, and a waste of my time anyway. You are literally defending BM and saying that anyone who BMs hasn't had any sort of failure in education, and it seems from this thread that it's a common theme. Not really a community worth being a part of, if you ask me.
I'm not defending BM. Nowhere in my posts I defended it. I don't do it. But comparing BM in a video game to having no parental education and saying someone should have been aborted because they teabag, is a bit much. It's not that deep.

But corrupt intervention is not giving the killers a reason to leave the hook.
Neither is POP.
-
Honestly, doubt it.
But I'd be ok with DS basekit. Not POP, but I'd like Corrupt Intervention basekit instead.

Missing consequences. That is the point.
You could say our parents educated us better :-)
So if someone teabags in a video game it means their parents failed educating them? L M A O

The hatch offerings were a mistake from the beginning.
Not like everyone already complained about hatch campers, now it's even easier to camp the hatch. Genius smh...

I've proved my point that a 10k+ hour player's idea is also the same.
I believe there are not many players who have the skills to be entitled to say otherwise, and I don't believe that any one of those would be on this forum now.
5k hours here and I think tunneling is boring. It has nothing to do with skill or not.
If we're gonna talk about skill... you're the one who's saying you can only get kills if you tunnel. When I play killer I can get kills even without tunneling, even when I play pig. So.

The hatch itself is fine the way it is now that it’s been changed.
However, I have seen people using Left Behind with the full intent of just hiding all game and getting hatch, and it’s really frustrating when you have a dead weight teammate like that. (I’m not talking about doing it with 2 ppl left, I’m talking about ppl who literally do it from the start of the match before even knowing what killer it is.)
Not to mention clairvoyance is better because it’s 64 meters, as long as you use it properly and you can find one totem.
That said, you are right about killers slugging for 4k - idk how to fix that really. I used to do this against survivors who brought old keys because I wanted to make sure nobody gets to use that broken piece of crap, but they got nerfed so I don’t mind them anymore. Outside of that I don’t usually bother (and I typically let someone escape anyways more often than not).
I have the same issue with people who use hatch offerings to spawn near the shack or building, they usually do nothing all game and just wait for it to spawn.

COH is the only boon totem that needs a nerf imo.
This. I rarely see anyone using the other ones, and I'd even say Boon: Exponential is at best mediocre.
-
No, it's not.
I'd rather have a stealthy team mate who doesn't get into chases but still helps the team (does gens and goes for saves), than a team mate who goes go a loop right away and gets downed in 10 seconds.

As others have said, there are a few possibilities.
- Subtle hackers giving themselves constant/infinite...well, I won't be more specific than that.
- SWFs running multiple fancy toolboxes with PTS.
- Everyone spawned basically on top of a gen together (happens every game on Cowshed and RPD it seems).
- You are mistaken and the speed just seemed faster for whatever reason.
Everyone spawning on top of a gen is completely useless. It's just smarter to spread out. And that would be a gen done in less than a minute, not 4 gens in 1 minute

Iv got 4k hrs, 5 surv at p350 and 23 killers p350 without full perks, i abuse every bloodhunt, did all archives, all daily rituals, every giveaway codes, everytime playing with bps, sur pudding and escape cake playing like 10 hr a day and still sucks so the grind is a problem. Ps also with bbq and wglf.
I'm at 5k hours and have every survivor p3 50 and 12 killers p3 50 and still grinding away. It's ridiculous.
-
I still think they should change it from merciless to just a 4k, with disconnects counting as kills.
-
It's SWF sided, not solo survivor sided.

You failed at math eh? Four survivors means 16 perks.
You failed at math? Idk if you ever played solo q, but the other perks are not visible to me so at the end of the day there is only 4 perks to my disposal yes.
-
Lazy af.
-
2 of the meta perks are almost necessary (DS and BT) because there is a lot of camping and tunneling.
Yes they are strong, but only if the killer is camping/tunneling, otherwise they have no use to them. If tunneling and camping weren't so prevalent, maybe people would feel free to use other perks.
-
From what I understand from your post it looks like you, the killer, are using other survivors to kill them by letting them farm them. That can be considered grieving yes, since you're using a survivor to kill another.
-
Looping bad, you should spawn already on the dying state, then good.
-
I don't know if it's just me, but I absolutely hate this map.
The constant animated oil looking thing distracts me and makes me think I saw someone moving, and there's this weird noise that you hear sometimes that sounds like someone is nearby healing.
It's way too bright and a lot of distracting components.
Also totem spots are just really weird.

Most people come back after they realize there is no better alternative to DBD.
You have a better shot at quitting since you're extremely new and aren't affected by the sunk-cost fallacy yet.
Pretty much this.
If I was new I'd be quitting too because of the ridiculous grind. But after grinding all of this, I'd just rather adapt.

Killer Community in a nutshell: Cluttering the forums with this kind of low effort posts.
-
I main both Freddy and Pig.
I still don't consider Freddy underrated. Yes his most recent nerf was too much, but since I didn't use forever Freddy before it didn't really change much for me.
As for Pig, I just really enjoy her stealth and the traps can sometimes be helpful to slowdown the game a bit, since the only slowdown I usually use is Pop.

It takes a lot of skill to master nurse, and most people who main nurse and have been able to master her, seem to be doing just fine.

Does this question matter when so many people on this forum seem to have an inflated sense of what skill level they are because they can't see their MMR?
Everyone on this forum is high MMR, yet they say they lose every match ever because killer is impossible right now. I wonder how they are still high MMR?
-
It's funny how everyone is always praising Otz on here but as soon as he says killer isn't impossible suddenly his opinion doesn't matter anymore lol.

No, Blight is not OP.

since a bunch of killers switched up to survivor and realised how easy it is.
It really is quite forgiving to play survivor, you don't even need to focus on locational sounds so you can listen to music or watch a movie while you play.
There will be games where you get outplayed by good killers and have to focus but man they are 1 in 10 maybe at least in my experience.
You get the occasional toxic killer who acts like a jerk and then has a meltdown post game but I'd say again you get that 1 in 10 or more games compared to playing killer. I'd say as killer you get at least one if not a whole team of toxic survivors who feed off each other and want to abuse you every 3-4 games. Even with a thick skin and a complete understanding that it doesn't matter at all it still gets tiresome after a while.
I'd say half the relaxing element that comes from playing survivor stems from the great reduction in negative interactions you have with players who want to rage at you.
If killer mains are switching to survivor, that would explain the potatoes I keep getting, since it's normal to be better at the role you main than the one you don't.
Now, if survivors take no skill, why are these "killers switching to survivor" still potatoes? I thought they'd be instantly gods at it.

What you're doing is victim blaming. Well intentioned victim blaming, but you're still saying it's the fault of the people this behaviour is targeted at, even though almost everyone playing the game understands what teabagging a killer is meant to mean and agrees that this can and does get to people.
Just because you or I don't get bothered by something, doesn't mean that between focusing on the person doing something wrong and the person being targeted, we should choose to harangue the person already having a bad time for not also doing better emotionally. Keep the blame on the jerks.
"Victim Blaming".... it's a video game. Some people really need to go outside and touch some grass. It's not that deep.
-
Because it doesn't work, and since it's hidden there's no actual proof of it working.
-
I've had the same thing happen to me and those losers in end game chat said I was the one doing it. It's ridiculous.

Thank you for making that clear. But that did not answer the important part of my question.
Your rank/grade, for you to pip you need to get high scores in your emblems that show up at the end of the match.
As killer you have gatekeeper, chaser, devout and malicious. The wiki explains more about them: https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Emblems

BASEKIT kindred isn't needed though. There's 16 perks in game for survivor. Maybe use it instead of a second chance perk.
Totally different then imploying a strategy that can help create a snowball. There's no perk for killer that can help with that
I don't know what school you went to but my loadout is only made of 4 perks in solo q. I use kindred on all my loadouts and I still think it needs to be basekit.
-
Ranks/Grades aren't the same as your MMR.
MMR is not visible to anyone and as killer you will get higher MMR with kills, and lose MMR points with escapes, so the more people you kill, the higher your MMR will get.

Doesn't the undetectable status nullify Kindred's effects though? A killer with a perk such as Insidious or some other undetectable perk/power would slip through that hoop, and then Kindred is worthless.
You can still see them positioning near the hook and then going invisible, so it's obvious if they have insidious or are undetectable/crouching.
@BrokenSouI said:

No. It shouldn't be. There's 16 survivor perks in game. It won't kill one survivor to bring it over BT, DS, DH, unbreakable, etc etc
Yes, yes it should. You only need to be cautious about kindred if you're camping, if you aren't camping it isnt an issue for you.

You must play in low mmr, I assure high mmr players do not have this issue. Any one who says different, isn't high mmr.
Almost like once you're low MMR you're stuck there because you need your team to escape.
-
If I see anyone afk, I kill them first and let the others farm. By being afk you're making it a 3v1 and screwing over your team.
-
Maybe he was truly letting you escape so who knows, i'd still take the chance and the open gate points idc.
-
Kindred is def a must in solo q. COH honestly for me is not since I'd rather be injured and run iron will.
