  • Pretty sure THAT kind of gen spawn isn't suppose to happen, lol. Oof

Lots of people have ptsd against SM. To the point that it could have been a SM without addons or perks on Red Forest with a wide gen spread and people would still complain.

SM lives rent free in a lot of places

Alot of ppl also have no clue how to handle playing against her. The amount of survivors who get marked and injured for free while the killer is nowhere near them is STAGGERING. People will run through ALL the drones on the way to a gen or an unhook... Then I see complaint posts like this and I can't help but eye roll a little bit.

You regularly can't avoid beams when having to leave the gen because that would just let her hit you. Again, often you are lucky if you even notice her coming to your gen in time to leave at all. Stealth mode drones are also a thing. It is worse than, say, Plague because of 1. Undetectable, 2. Haste, 3. Hindered. You also have to mend out of Deep Wound every then and again, and are also Broken. And she has add-ons like Shotgun Speakers.

What "stealth+overlapping" argument? Overlapping drone zones exist and stealth drones/Undetectable exists. Has nothing to do with one another, they are just things that happen at various points in a match.

The things that you are complaining about are things that are avoidable and within your control. The "forcing" is time consuming AF if no one is doing any chases and instead 3 genning. You sound like the type of person who rushes through several drone areas and get claw traps when SM isn't chasing you at all, then complain that you can't hit a skillcheck because you don't hear a ding for the next 45 seconds.

Im done talking about this since it's obvious there's no hope in you looking at what you can do to improve your gameplay at all besides complain.

Against a Merchant patrolling a 3-gen, you can't time when you have to move away, and you certainly can't be standing still or crouching when you have to. Even being able to get away without a free hit at all is something you can consider yourself lucky to have achieved considering Undetectable and Haste. And approaching the gen unscanned at the very least costs time, every time, also making gen defense more effective for her. Plus she has 6 drones, the scan zones of which can also overlap; she can turn a huge area around a gen cluster into a "want to move? okay, enjoy being broken, deep-wounded and hindred, as well as giving me haste" zone.

There is no reason to allow her to recall hacked drones. If she actually plays a chase-based style where drones will inevitably end up around the map, 6 are plenty for them to never all be on cooldown. All recalling hacked drones does is enable oppressive area control because hacking drones does nothing, she just recalls and resets as she patrols, getting Undetectable for it and also constantly having drones in stealth mode where you would have to crouch all the way through the scan zone if you wanted to avoid getting scanned.

For the record: Unrecallable hacked drones is the very least they could do. The killer would still be one of the most ill-designed pieces of gameplay I have ever seen. There is no little to no skill involved in anything she does, she puts up drones and gets everything for it. It is mindboggling to me how anyone chooses to play her when there's so many more engaging killers to choose from. I'm proud never to have played her beyond the initial testing phases. I feel bad for having bought her (with Shards, to my defense), her lackluster or downright bad perks certainly don't justify owning her either. I suppose it's the fact that it's incredibly easy to effortlessly win against any group that isn't a coordinated SWF by playing for a 3-gen, "chases" not being a real thing with Undetectable, Hindered and Haste. In my experience the people playing her also do so precisely because they know she is obnoxious to face, enjoying that aspect. Even her mere visuals and sounds have become synonymous for many with a bad time.

Your entire argument requires the killer to chase you away from a gen multiple times, during which you not bother trying to avoid the beams at all before the stacks finally add up enough to do anything. How is this any worse than Plague 3 genning , who can break you just by puking on the gens... or Legion, who would be getting constant full team FF hits by the forced close range 3 genning requires?

Your argument about stealth+overlapping drone areas btw don't work. Stealthing requires having a drone in hand, meaning you can't use 1 of your 6 total drones to overlaping on 3 generators.

Debatable, I think there are still plenty of addons on him that are basically useless ^^ And some builds that are just not fun (for the other side).

When half of the addons are usable... that's a pretty good situation. I'll admit, he's got some juicy ones that piss people off that I tend to avoid... but those are STILL helpful if ya just don't care. It's only a couple addons that I'm scratching my head about on why this is a thing due to being too bad. The shard addon that only works for stalking someone in T1 for example... is dumb. You're gonna stalk yourself right to T2 trying to use it, lol. Since you never go back to T1, that addon then does nothing afterwards.

  • @zarr said:

Absolutely. Survivors have to move to get to and away from gens, this is what BHVR didn't think about.

Easiest fix in the world (and therefore unlikely to ever be implemented): Make it so Merchant can't recall hacked drones.

Keep in mind the drone area isn't the same as before. You can move in the area, just not through the moving beams. Time it right and you can run up to the gen just fine. Can also crouch walk without triggering anything.

Fair, but I usually don't chase in t2 anyway ^^ Either I m getting my instant down or I just take the m1 and leave, or get a pallet and leave I usually don't try to get value out of the faster vault.

I try to utilize a variety of Myer's addons rather than just stick with a handful. Most of them have their uses and I try to tweek how I play to match that. I hate blowing abunch of BPs in the bloodweb, just to look for SPECIFIC addons while disregarding the others. Pyramid head for example is bogged down with crap addons. Myers...isnt.

I have to admit I only ever really felt its value in t3 even though t2 is also quite a lot faster than normal. I never had an issue with people not healing against Myers, just because of the low teror radius, regardless of the playstyle.

That little bit is kinda like MFT where it can make the difference between getting a hit before a pallet drop vs just getting stunned. Really makes me miss it when I'm playing killers like Pig.

  • @Archol123 said:

Not every chase for sure, sometimes you will get a map with not a lot of line of sight blockers, but usually you can a down instantly after you pop the t3 if you do it properly, and ofc you are not guaranteed to get one after the initial down, but that is somewhat fine as well. The point however is that I won't continue chasing a survivor after the inital hit, because then I cannot use my low terror radius to sneak up on them. So I still don't get value out of stbfl, because the stealth is basically all you have on Myers. I guess you can get value out of that addon, but even then I would say it is not worth it.

But the point stays, running out of stalk happens so rarely I cannot remember the last time it did happen to me.

Your right that your low TR doesn't help getting a 2nd hit if a chase requires 2, but things like the shard addon helps for that. That addon also tends to result in having a T3 cocked and ready since your constantly stalking 1 second at a time.

Also, typically a more stealth 2 hit playstyle results in survivors wanting to heal more. The amount of times I'll catch groups healing up with nurses, just to get some rapid downs/injuries is great.

Sidenote, minor thing... Don't dismiss the extra vault speed Myers has. Low TR isn't the ONLY thing Myers has. His increased vaulting can be a deciding factor.

I have a few hundred games on Myers, and basically never ran out of stalk, most of the time you will get more than 1 down with your t3, the game is over before you are out of stalk in 99% of cases, unless you severely mess it up.

I've played him a whole lot too, so let's toss THAT out of the conversation shall we...

The point was that you can't sneak up and pop T3 at close range for every chase. It's not possible, so you'll either be having SOME chases with T2 hits, or you'll be approaching survivors in T3 and will NOT be having the benefit of stealth.

I've done both approaches using different addons. If I'm using Hairbow, I might slot in infectious to get several downs per T3. I also ran builds with his green shard addon in which most of my chases are in T2. That addon is only good for T2 and can help at mindgaming loops. In THAT build, I might take advantage of the low TR to use nurses calling.

Yeah but by doing that you are basically weakening yourself on purpose, Myers whole thing is approaching with a small Terrorradius without line of sight and then popping t3 and Oneshot ting a person, for this you don't need STBFL, you're also already a stealth killer, so running a stealth build is basically already in your base kit, sure with dead rabbit and monitor you have a 6 m heartbeat, which means they won't have time to react to it, but you don't really need more than that, and I would even say you are putting yourself at a disadvantage if you stay t2 on purpose instead of just Oneshot ting them, since it is just way quicker than anything STBFL could do for you...

If your idea is to constantly sneak up on a survivor in T2 and pop T3.... you're gonna run out of stalk. It's not possible to constantly do that. The MOST amount of separate T3s you can get is 7, and this is assuming you get ALL the stalk from every survivor, while avoiding addons that increase stalk needed.

Not any more or less decent than with other m1 killers I guess, which all have the problem of loosing stacks when there is an obsession blocking.

I HAVE tried it with a semi-stealth build. Myers gets a larger TR in T3, so I'd just utilize a bunch of low TR T2 hits and reserve T3 for the obsession.

  • @Archol123 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3587410#Comment_3587410

For one specific build, that is around a purple addon? That is probably a really small minority of games on Myers... Besides that t3 downs is basically what Myers usually does, he can get to t3 7 times, if he stalks everyone completely... In the vast majority of cases you don't the perk, because he does not get much out of it and even with the purple addon I don't think it has much value, because you cannot go for the obsession then and because of how you use the aura reading around loops I don't think the catching up does too much for you anyway.

That's the beauty about DBD, you can have a variety of builds depending on the addon combination you use. MY point was simply that STBFL does have a decent use with Myers, not that it's going to be useful with most of his loadouts.

It's really not hard to run after a survivor for 10 seconds, apply a lock on stack and then go back to your 3 gen. Especially once you have a bit of extra speed, because that makes it pretty much impossible to maintain distance. 3 gens are naturally a favorable position for a killer because they can get rid of the resources and get easier hits in the process, while also applying pressure to all 4 survivors in that area.

SM only makes this worse. Much worse. Because with her, there are quite a few loops where she will just get a hit no matter what you do. That forces you to leave and heal, or leave prematurely every time she comes near you. In both cases you lose a lot of time, that you would need on the gen. A coordinated SWF can still break through, while most other groups just lose too much time due to a lack of communication.

If Team Eternal struggle with these skillchecks, then how do you expect an average DBD player to hit them? Call me a goldfish but I do not know the exact timing of OC skillchecks, though I do hit them pretty consistently when I can hear them. Even, if I know that a skill check will happen, it's not easy to hit it when I don't have a clue about the exact timing (which varies even with OC, as far as I know) and the timing needs to be very precise. I mean, try it yourself. If you can do it, then congrats. But I and a lot of other players aren't that good. Though we still play against SMs, who need to do very little to apply that effect.

You would need to start and drop a chase with a survivor several times to apply a 45 second annoyance eventually. This is assuming the survivor runs straight through the closest drone beam instead of trying to avoid it. As far as OC timing... it's like 1 second after you start repairing a kicked gen, which is why I said it's predictable. Unlike every other skillcheck, that one you know EXACTLY when it'll pop up. If the addon is giving you a hard time, I welcome you to say "Ding" as soon as you start repairing.

As far as the case with Team Eternal, it was completely different since that was OLD Skull Merchant. That iteration DID affect any Survivor in the area unlike now. There is significant differences to the point that it's not worth mentioning at all when talking about current SM.

  • @Xernoton said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3587422#Comment_3587422

You can easily force survivors into claw traps, which makes them broken. It doesn't take that long and worse still, she still has the Shotgun Speakers, which make OC such a nightmare.

Kind of funny, if you think about it. They nerfed Doc's synergy with it, because it would too hard to hit the OC skillcheck. But SM can still do it. And it's Doctor's own perk! There is an achievement locked behind him using that perk and yet he has no synergy with it! But SM, who has become notorious for using gen kick perks too well still has her synergy. Mind boggling.

What SM does now is to keep survivors broken with the claw traps, which forces survivors to pre run against her just like before. Applying claw traps has also become a lot easier, which allows her to keep her haste effect at pretty much all times. So she gets easy hits on top of that (especially when she sets up her drones in a loop to apply the hindered effect). Also, the problematic addons still exist.

At this point, I think she might be irredeemable. They reworked her twice already, she still has the same issues as before (incredibly boring to play as and against) and she is still unhealthy and I doubt they'll rework her again. This is more than just a failure.

The drones don't mark people who are stationary or crouching. In order for a SM to "force" a survivor to get a clawtrap, they would need to chase them off a gen towards a drone several times til a clawtrap comes on. Even then, the clawtrap has a 45 second timer, so those addons which require active clawtraps arnt getting a whole lot of value.

As far as OC+shotgun speakers... Are you a goldfish? You need the ding sound to remember there's gonna be a skillcheck right away? This should only surprise you once. After that, it's a survivor skill issue if they keep failing a predictable skillcheck.

  • Feel like if they implement something like this, they'd also have to do something about hook spawns. This shouldn't negatively affect killers who WANT to hook a survivor, but they keep going to a location that's a hook deadzone.

But the point is non of killers can do that easily. SM's power just fits perfectly with this strategy.

I really hope BHVR is coming with good solution for 3-gen without making game misarable for killers.

How? The power only picks up moving survivors. How is this any worse than a Legion or Plague who does this exact loadout?

Who runs stbfl for last on an instant down killer like Myers? XD You Oneshot people regardless so why would you need a short attack cooldown ^^

It's nice when you run a build not centered around T3 downs. If you use vanity mirror for example, you stay in T2 the entire time.

  • Unless you are changing the game files or something, it's not really cheating. A piece of tape on my screen is no more of a cheat than a golfball on a survivor's W key.

  • Cross progression is kind of a can of worms with how content is handled. Currently, if you buy a chapter through the steam store for example, you can share it with other accounts on the same PC. That means you can switch to a different account and still have that content unlocked. Now what happens if those accounts can be logged onto on different machines? Can I unlock all content for my console friends by adding a steam account for them on my PC? It gets messy if those steam accounts with shared content can be linked to different console accounts for different people.

They are shorter than before but the boredom remains. Snoozefest 24/7.

I've been having the opposite happen where matches can end so quickly, none of the survivors get over 10k BPs. Typically ease up abit to let them recover abit in those cases.

  • @Zraith said:

just leave asap, that's what I usually do if it looks like a length match for nothing

Didn't realize long matches were still an issue for the current iteration of SM

  • I feel like your wildly forgetting killer nuance. Just because a killer's power description is simple, doesn't mean it can't be complex. Billy for example had a super simplistic description of hold M2 to vroom vroom run... but there's advanced tricks that arnt mentioned in the description. Things like curving or bouncing of certain terrain to reach pretty wild locations takes alot of know-how and made the killer more fun than just back revving.

You also have killers like Deathslinger that map knowledge plays a part. Knowing about changes in different iterations of the killer shack to shoot through tiny holes adds a new level to the character that allows Deathslingers to flex their stuff.

I feel like the difference though is that these are ADDED complexities that skilled players practice to add to their toolkit. Singularity on the other hand is REQUIRED complexities to function at the base level. Unlike the Deathslinger cheeky hold shot, Singularity doesn't really have anything extra to polish.

  • Unfortunately I doubt the system is advanced enough to detect the difference between throwing and poor skill mixed with poor luck. I'd love if people doing that got the same treatment as a DC penalty, but I don't think it's likely.

  • While I disagree with the concept, people are already picking their killer to play against by giving up instantly. There's alot of ppl who will just refuse to play a match once they see a killer they don't like.

  • I feel like it's mostly just from a difference in play from the survivor. Newbies don't tend to do things like bodyblock, and they tend to try hiding more. The ppl with alot of hours in-game though don't stealth much, making them easier to find. They are also the ppl who will make sure to bodyblock using the endurance from being unhooked.

In this way... no, I didn't tunnel the P100, I chased the guy who hunted me down with OTR. That guy INSISTED I hit him.

Nice shots, the Trickster one is perfect.

I used to love running Rancor but lots of people hate going against it and it can feel like you’re ripping away someone’s earned escape.

Argument against that however, there are hints that Rancor is in play (aura of Killer after every gen when you’re the obsession), but not everyone is aware of it. Nemesis (perk) synergizes well with it at end game as well to get multiple mories if you’re lucky.

I think the perk would be seen in a better light if more people were aware of the signs of it. When I’m survivor and know it’s in play, I tend to hide at end game until it’s safe enough to run for an open gate. Usually Killers will be distracted trying to find you so you can use that to your advantage.

Can use it with Game afoot as well.

  • The other day, I was accused of proxy camping when I legit crossed to the other end of the map and went to the 2nd floor. After sending a screenshot of my endgame emblems showing no camping demerits, the guy finally agreed and said he was mostly just annoyed, although he took it out on the wrong person.

Point being... often times we all only see a portion of what's going on. A hooked survivor might not realize his teammates left scratchmarks in the area that got spotted. He just assumes the killer is proxy camping, rather than looking for the owner of those scratchmarks.

Or... in the case of MY example, the guy in basement didn't have the best view to realize I went basically as far away from hook as possible and chased his 2 teammates on the top floor of Thompson house. Neither myself, nor the 2 survivors I chased deserved mean messages from someone who can only see PART of the situation.

  • Same... I have a keyboard plugged in to make typing easier and yeah, would be nice using it to actually PLAY with.

Yes which makes them somewhat one sided, which is generally speaking bad map design, unless of course you make it so not every killer can get every map. Even stealth killers can still somewhat work well on most maps if you have some high line of sight blockers.

Your going to have a hard time making maps equally good for every killer. Some killers due well with LOS Blockers, while some like Huntress or Singularity are the opposite. This doesn't mean The Game should be reworked because Huntress can't throw hatchets at range.

  • Flashbangs...

The fact that it's possible to be blinded by a flashbang tossed behind you is stupid.

But wouldn't that just make maps the issue and not really the offerings? Because they tend to be heavily one sided it is problematic if you get send to a specific map, otherwise it would not matter... So if maps were balanced map offerings would be just for aesthetic reasons?

Typically different killers have maps that they do well against and maps they don't. Myers for example does GREAT on indoor maps where he can be sneaky, but maps like Rotten fields kinda sucks for him. Billy on the other hand is really good on Rotten fields but suffers on indoor maps like Lery's.

It's kind of a tradeoff that SOMETIMES you'll get maps that work well with your power, and sometimes you won't. Map offerings throw that out the window. When you can pick maps that give your killer of choice the advantage and avoid the maps that killer is weak on, it just creates a false impression on how strong something is. Scratched Mirror Myers for example is basically unusable on most maps, but since it's always paired with map offerings... the kill rate is way higher than it would otherwise be.

  • @Seraphor said:

I wouldn't be against reworking Victor to be third person. He's a power rather than a killer, so it wouldn't be unreasonable.

But apart from that, it wouldn't work for many. Maybe if we ever got M3gan or Annabelle as killers.

I would like more killers with unique functions though. Like Predator with thermal vision, or the Quiet Place creatures with sonar.

Now I'm just imagining how many ppl would say it would be reasonable for the quiet place creatures to just have a black screen and rely completely on sound.

  • I use Nemesis+PWYF too, but honestly... I feel like stacking even MORE speed perks on that is just a gimmick. Maybe try infectious fright and UW to crank up pressure. That way you spend less time looking around and can at LEAST get abit of puke on nearby survivors before picking up.

I wanna see Chucky running around with Hag's arm now

Artist was the first killer ti have a power that would force you to leave a loop or outplay the killer. You would need ti know where to place your crows and then predict and time correctly.

But no no, that wasn't enough for killers. They need to press a button so survivor is then forced to leave whatever loop the killer desires.

Knight and Skullmerchant should not even exist.

Lightburn not being all too relevant in average play is a fair point. It was definitely a significant counter in the hands of a player that knew how to use it, but it wouldn't be an actual balancing tool. Not least because it requires the use of certain items, of course. But still, it's just very unfortunate that these flashlight interactions have been removed. I don't get why devs would ever want to remove fun and engaging gameplay from their game. Especially here, where items are stale enough as it is and flashlights one of the few really fun and proactive items that encourage interaction. And it's not like these interactions had been problematic either, far from, as they required the use of certain, already less optimal items, skill, and risky plays.

We have seen changes to Nurse multiple times in the past despite her average kill rate always having been on the lower end. I'm sure the devs realize that she is problematic still, despite not being all that great in an average player's hands. But yes, I mean, they are also not addressing blatantly busted things such as Blight's add-ons, for years and years (instead at times even nerfing mid-tier killer add-ons...), so it's not like I am holding my breath (pun intended).

I think it's just a bit funny that my suggestion has for a long time been to reduce her lunge range, and BHVR out of nowhere brings an add-on that increases it instead. But yeah, with a lower lunge range, Nurse would require more skill, be less forgiving, allow for more counterplay, while still being an S-tier killer.

I for one wouldn't want map offerings to be removed, for the record. There are just too many interesting or fun or otherwise worthwhile strategies that involve the use of certain maps. And there already are counters to map offerings (other map offerings or the Sacrificial Ward). I agree of course that map offerings constitute a "balance issue", but a game does not live and die only by balance, other things are just as if not even more important, and people playing Jumpscare Myers or Ghostface on an indoor map is something I wouldn't want to lose, for just one example.

I like Jumpscare Myers too, but map offerings tend to skew things abit too much. Take this screenshot for example. If this Nurse allowed it to be up to luck, they MIGHTVE gotten a map like Lerys that is bad for Nurse. The bad maps act to balance out the good ones. How are we gonna talk about killrates when we can stack the odds before the game begins?

You can't just COMPLETELY ignore balance issues in exchange for cool points, otherwise we would still have OG Moris. Using a consumable offering EVERY match is not a realistic counter.

As for Ghostface... unlike Jumpscare Myers, you can play Ghostface on any map. It's not NEARLY as map dependant.

  • @zarr said:

Nurse is still OP, there is no doubt about it. She 4ks in tournaments consistently and in public play good Nurses can win hundreds and thousands of matches in a row without even using perks or add-ons altogether.

Reduce her lunge range out of blinks. The exact % would have to be figured out, but it would be the perfect nerf as it doesn't impact her general gameplay, it only makes it so her lunge doesn't act as as much of a "third blink", needing the player to be more accurate with their blinks and more swift with their reactions, allowing survivor jukes and dodges to actually work out sometimes. White Nit Comb exists, and good players have used it and still demolished plenty with it.

Pallets should also be more meaningful against her.

The lightburn nerfs could be reverted...

And for something else that relates to the topic at hand more closely: Nurse could be afflicted by Blindness mid-blink. This would still allow her to use auras to find survivors and acquire map knowledge, but it would prevent the issue of some of the aura perks basically giving her free hits. Although yeah, this one would feel a little ham-handed and further limit perk diversity for the killer.

Feel like tournament play is it's own monster. Realistically, who OTHER than tournament squads were using lightburn against Nurse? Anytime it would get mentioned as a way to counter Nurse, it would get instantly dismissed. As long as the average killrate as Nurse doesn't become as outlier, as opposed to TOURNAMENT killrates, I doubt we'll see any more changes anytime soon.

Sidenote though... Maybe just get rid of map offerings?

We can't dictate how they play mate. We only know what we've experienced as survivors.

We tend to play her as an ambush predator seems a lot more fun in our eyes.

I just want to be able to play against PEOPLE and not bots constantly, lol.

I would agree with @BlightedDolphin and say it's much more appropriate to just nerf those two killers rather than adjust perks to their unreasonable strength. They need nerfs regardless, and most of the perks problematic on these two are perfectly fine on other killers. I touched on Nurse in my post, and for Blight apart from the obvious add-on adjustments (Ring, C33, Vial, maybe slight reductions to Crow and Rat), pallets should also be more meaningful. Stunning Blight similarly to my Nurse suggestion should rob him of his charges. Either that or make it so that he can't break pallets with his attack. Or maybe both, although that could turn out to be a bit much.

And NTH doesn't even really specify that the aura reveal lingers on the killer. Ultimate Weapon needs some rebalancing anyway, although I think reducing the active window to 15 seconds and increasing the cooldown to 45 would suffice.

In this instance it is a combination of the map offering and the perks. Nowhere To Hide on Nurse already equals free, unavoidable hits a lot of the time, especially so on indoor maps, and Midwich is particularly egregious in this regard. Darkness Revealed is basically just as strong as NTH on this map, as well. Ultimate Weapon is actually superfluous with this loadout, it if anything is detrimental for the killer here as it gives survivors a warning that Nurse knows about their position. But I suppose it ican be there as a safety against Distortion.

There are plenty of "fair" tracking perks Nurse can make good use of that aren't as problematic. Barbecue's great. Monitor & Abuse has always been interesting alongside Nurse's Calling (or her add-on equivalent). Tinkerer. Floods Of Rage. And she can obviously still make perfectly good use of gen perks. With Terminus and No Way Out she even still has access to potent endgame perks.

Either way, the actual issue is Nurse herself of course. Instead of nerfing perks or making them somehow not work on her, they should simply nerf her.

What can you really do to nerf Nurse though that won't just completely break her? She's already BEEN nerfed several times. I feel alot of people forget just how much distance a survivor can get due to her cooldowns and fatigue. Making those much longer will put her in a spot where a survivor holding W can go faster than her.

Play who you want, how you want man/woman/thing. Why let others tell you how to play this game?

I just want to avoid getting into games where ppl constantly DC or give up. I got ALOT of bots last night.

They kinda do. Doesn't stop people from trying though and it's still usually drawn out for little reason when they do though.

That's kinda weird to me. I've had games where it goes the OTHER way in which I play TOO aggressive and have to pretend like I didn't see the last guy standing to let the team recover abit. With the changes, it feels like an aggressive style is the way she's suppose to be played since the drones only detect moving targets. You WANT survivors to constantly be running through your minefield. I feel like infectious and UW works well for that.

It's how people play her. A LOT go for the 3 gen camp or tend to tunnel camp. Basically people play her the most hated ways they can. They gave her a REAL bad reputation.

I've just been using Ruin, sloppy and 2 tracking perks. Games have been going fine so far. Sounds like you'd have to shoot yourself in the foot to make things obnoxious

No perks should be subject to change until at least one year into its existence. After that, data should be gathered for 3-6 months to see how drastically it affects a killer's ability to get 3-4 kills or 3-4 survivors escaping.

It's definitely easier to spot an outlier way before a year. Keeping a problematic perk that long is a good way to drive ppl away. I can only imagine if MoM was allowed to stay in its original state for that long...

She's still 200% Scumdog. Play her with the biggest ######### eating grin on your face.

I've been collecting plenty of DCes for just chill games...

Your allowed to enjoy anyone. Though yes, she's still kinda hated by a lot of ppl.

What exactly is hated? Is it still just the long games, cuz I barely ever feel the need to kick a gen with her.

  • She's playing without addons, seems like she already went easy on them, lol
