So how is slugging boring then if you get to use your power to zoom around the map to find and chase survivors?

Cropsy.

im talking from the killers perspective
Could you elaborate on that? I don't see how slugging would be more boring from a killers POV than not slugging is.
I find slugging for the 4k to be quite boring because you just wander around the map mostly doing nothing.

I hate it and would prefer if it stayed in the PTB. Learning a new Killer is going to be much harder and there won’t be any variety anymore at high ranks. You’ll just be going up against the same sweaty red rank players and builds 24/7. No more relaxing a bit before trying to climb back up the ranks. It’ll be like the rank reset never happened.
I think it is a good idea.
I feel there are quite alot of players using their "sweatiest" builds to stomp less experienced players in low ranks, likely making it a miserable experience for newbies.
New rank reset coupled with harsher DC punishments should in theory make smurfing not as easy anymore.
As for learning a new killers: I think one learns a lot more by going against competent players than by stomping newbies. Survivors habe to develop strategies against new killers aswell, on paper it evens out. If you're experienced enough with the game you should still be able to make plays and get results while.experimenting around. Sure, one might not be dominating team after team with ease but there's probably more to learm from losses than there is from easy victories.
Also if ones personal performance isn't up to snuff you'll going to depip to lower rank brackets eventually.

Information perks to find people quckly, Discordance, BBQ, Whispers, Thrilling Tremors.
Something to slow down the game most likely, Ruin & Pop are always good. Maybe even Corrupt, haven't tried it on GF.
I guess MYC and Haunted Ground can help you get quick downs if you manage to sneak up on people. Devour Hope for powerplays and because you can defnd it a little bit easier while stealthed given a not so large map.
Or you know try the regular M1 Combo of Spirit Fury + Enduring if you feel like you need some Mord aid in chases. Bamboozle if you don't want to deal with Windows.

Why should rank reset change the way people play?
-
Me neither. Even though they all have very strong abilities to make up for their movement speed, 4.4 m/s just feels slow af and crippling.
-
No. Misplays shouldn't be rewarded like that, they should be punished or atleast be punishable through gameplay.
-
No. Patience is a virtue.
I'm always for delaying releases of games/updates/events and whatnot instead of having it earlier but it being a broken mess then.

Don't feed campers. Thank god you can't message anyone, the toxicity coming from that isn't ging to help anyone and most certainly won't convince a player to not camp.
Teach Killers through gameplay that camping just gives survivors free reign of the map.
Pressure gens and don't be too altruistic.
Sometimes someone has to be the sacrificial lamb.

Combat straps.

Slowdown perks/addons definitely needed to get looked at if this were to happen, that's a no-brainer.
I'd also probably give up NOED, maybe even all endgame perks.
-
Eh, not that big of deal really. There's no infinite map wide aura reading and there are typically very strict prerequisites and ample counterplay tied to any aura reads.
Play it safe and learn the counters if you want to be stealthy or consider "Distortion" to get confirnation on what aura reading perks et.al. might be in use.

Super unsafe unhooks without BT, not even trying to take a hit and/or sanbagging me while trying to get away is what gets me killed the most. That or getting one-hooked 'cause noone's trying to save me even if the killer's clearly not close by.

But the survivor doesnt know that do they.....
Point is DH doesn't help at all if a surv is being bodyblocked in a corner or wherever.

I just meant that if they have dead hard they can probably see theyre headed for a corner turn and dead hard to avoid being hit yanno?
If they arent staring backwards and not looking where they are going i guess lmfao lord knows ive ran into walls and barrels because i looked behind me
A Pig wouldn't try to hit an injured survivor if their goal was to bodyblock and force an RBT to go off.

I thought the timer didnt go down if they were within heartbeat range tho so how you gonna trap them in a corner till they die with the bear trap?
Pig has no TR while crouched.

1 every 5 levels isn't exactly common either though.

She's strong but not OP at all. Hag moves at 4.4m/s which is slower than most killers(still faster than survivors).
She absolutely needs her traps to catch people and traverse the map.
Having to set up a web of traps and being that slow makes her rather weak in the early game, giving you a good headstart on gens.
Crouching doesn't trigger traps, flashlights can destroy them and the range from which she can teleport over is limited, so pop them if she's far off or can't teleport at all because she's carrying a survivor on her shoulders for example.
Having no traps cripples her badly. Basement is dangerous, try not to go down next to it as best as you can and get Gens near it out of the way ASAP.
Pay attention to where Lisa's coming from when she spproaches and don't go there if you're chased because chances are she made that part of the map quite dangerous.
Aura reading perks can greatly help you with getting intel on where she's been to/which parts of the map have been trapped.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

"Sleep Tight" , though one could argue it isn't strictly a horror movie but rather a psychological thriller with slight horror elements.
"The Burning" is another favourite of mine I hardly ever hear people talk about.
Been a while since I saw them but I remember the "Laid to Rest" movies for beging highly enjoyable slasher-flics.
