At Pig Mains: Which add-ons should I focus on when levelling her?
Piggy might be my next Killer to give all perks. So I wondered which add-ons are a must have and which ones are useless or lets say not wanted to get?

I like the Video Tape and Extra Jigsaw Box add-ons, though her add-ons are pretty underwhelming as a whole, imo.
Combat straps.
Everything below is my opinion.
Ones not worth going for:

Razor Wire

Amanda's Letter
Combat Straps, John's Medical File, and Video Tape are good with each other in any combo for improving Pig's ambush.
Last Will is good no matter what.
Bag of Gears is only really useful with Crate of Gears.
Jigsaw's Annotated Plan and Jigsaw's Sketch are decent-good no matter what, but Plan is best used with either Sketch or Last Will.
Crate of Gears is best with Sketch, Bag, or Tampered Timer.
Tampered Timer should only really be used if you want to go for RBT kills, as the add-on does nothing unless you nail a kill with it.

Well after playing with her lot of hours and making her p3 (long time ago), as much as you try to make the traps stronger it really sucks, and specially with the change they did in the endgame letting people escape with the traps in their head..
Traps are useless at thats all fault of the rng letting people free themselves in the first try or second (wich is very common), it should be a % that increase when you search boxes and not a guaranted to be in one. This and endgame change ruin her traps purpose.
The only "good" addons for her traps are the Crate of gears, Jigsaw Sketch and Tampered Timer. But don't expect to get much from using those, and also while doing this you are downgrading your ambush ability to useless.
Sadly the only "helpful" addons are the combat straps and video tape, making your ambush something useful, without those don't even bother trying her dash.
She needs a rework, shes has been treated so badly by the devs.
Quick add-ons run through
Video tape medical file combat straps are always your best investment option.
The add-ons relating to RTB aren't all terrible they tend to be unreliable so don't go too crazy with them.
The add-ons that give you extra skill checks when doing jigsaw boxes or increase the penalty for messing up a skill check is not worth it the second you start to hit high ranks because no one is going to mess up skill checks.
The status condition add-ons are pretty much all terrible.
Exhaustion - is meh but why you focusing so much attention on chasing people who aren't working on gens. ( keep in mind I'm not saying you shouldn't chase people with reverse bear traps and saying they're not high priorities so investing too much attention it is kind of a waste)
Hemorrhage - is the terrible status condition in general but once again why are you focusing so much attention on tracking people who aren't doing gens
Mangled - it's not hard to take the trap off and then heal afterwards
Blindness - This is probably the only time you hear me say this in relation to a blindness add-on but it's pretty decent because it's pseudo permanent and it can work on a niche slugging build. However niche is niche
Stall addons I'm putting these together because they essentially all do the same job.

Now you come onto where I say these add-ons are good but unreliable when they work they work very well and waste a lot of time but the survivor could very easily just take the trip on the first or second box making them pretty useless.
Still definitely worth getting but try not to hold too much hope in them
Tampered timer whilst it a pressure tool to stop people from doing things other than jigsaw boxes it has the same problem as the section above.
If they get it off in the first or second box it's pointless and if they get it off before the trap activates it's pointless
Amanda's secret- avoid this like the plague ( no not that one) seriously there is no reason why you would want to use this it is literally a primary contender for worst add-on in the game
Rule set no.2 - It's a decent add-on should be baseline it's not really worth the ultra-rare status.
Amanda's letter- my personal most favourite add-on I really like how transformative it is however it is bad even though it's my favourite I could at least admit that.
I actually love using Amanda's letter. Granted it's not a great add-on, but combined with the video tape makes an ambush attack only game pretty fun.
Honestly I'm not going to lie I really wish they went all in with the transformative nature of it.
The bear trap and the Jigsaw boxes they leave you with it's not really worth it.
So instead I wish they'd just removed the Jigsaw boxes and bear traps all together whilst using in but instead heavily boost the ambush potential not only in aura reading but extra effects as well.
So using Amanda's letter would give you a completely new way to play pig in a similar way to how scratched mirror Myers please differently from a regular Myers.
Combat straps and VCR are good since they're the only ones that don't affect your traps, but your ambush, which can be great. Pig's traps aren't her strength, since they're not what get kills... but the ambush can if used correctly at certain loops.
Tampered timer and Crate of gears can be good together, but that's about it. I guess if you want last will for the extra trap that can be handy... they're only there to stall and that's it.
I'm not a pig main though, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
