Longest ones were cleanse 8 totems, sacrifice 5 survivors, open 5 chest, and crows. All of these took 2 tries.

I don't want to engage in this conversation too much, but I do want to point out one thing: Billy has a very high skill ceiling as well because his power has quite a bit of depth.
When you steer the chainsaw with Q and E like I do, there's a lot of practice and improvement involved.
*blinks and rubs eyes* guess I didn't misread it.
Billy's skill cealing high or low is very easy to achieve. His depth is pretty shallow as well compaired to a lot of killers. I would say he's probably in the top easiest killers to play and reach the skill cealing with.

Exactly, on red ranks you get everything. Potatoes you can't even look behind them while getting chased and just drop pallets left and right... And the sweaty tryhards who are super optimal with resources. I feel like on rank 1 there needs to be a ranking inside of it with 10 more ranks if you get what I mean.
Would be interesting for each color class to have a rank system within itself. Might make the gameplay more rewarding.
-
Depipping is hard welcome to the red rank life. Even in red rank there's tiers of levels that the rank system can't really pinpoint.
-
Spirit is still great against IW you just have to learn how to deal with it. All the tells are in the grass movement and vault animations.
Honestly a few good killers are Pig, Trapper, Hag, Freddy, Huntress, Billy, and finally Myers. Provided you know how to use them. Huntress and Billy are map dependent, but incredibly strong.
-
I think removing the basic attack and cool down would be fine. Not like it should effect every generator survivors are working on. If it did then it would honestly be the fault of survivors on working with X amount of gens that close.
-
You dont have the right to survive EGC. It's just to prevent game hostage by survivors and hatch stand offs.
Your team may DC and make you lose, but in retrospect. Hatch is a slim chance and the door even smaller at survival. Your being awarded a final chance for the teams failure. Sadly you are part of the team that has failed against the killer. If they DC they make take pity on you at the end or they may not.

3% or each injured survivor
9% for each hooked or dying survivor
3% for each dead/sacrificed survivors. Why 3% and not more? Because if it was huge like idk 10%, that would promote hyper tunneling.
I would rather it just keep the debuff after the survivor dies.

I had a game yesterday where I made sure to hook everybody, I mean EVERY SINGLE SURVIVOR, once before getting anyone twice and then all of them twice before death hooking anyone and I still got called a tunneling camper
You forgot to get off the map after every hook didnt you? Should know its against the rules of survivors to stay on the map or your a camper and a tunneler.

This.
When the chase music stops because they gained enough distance between your fatigue and the sprintburst... how can you defend that. Before if you were smart and had skill you could actually hit someone using a speedburst if you could place yourself in the right spot along their run.
Now you just lose chase after chase because it takes ages to even catch up to them now. Double back is at least x10 more effective and a serious time waste for such a basic move. Before you could juke a Nurse with it, now you just use it to walk along your path totally not afraid of actually getting hit anymore. Such a bad change I had to uninstall the game.
She got Legioned Bro Legioned. Next on that Path is Spirit which Devs confirmed to be looking at. After that Billy, Hag, Huntress, Freddy, Ghostface, and prolly Myers. Anytime a survivor whines about a OP killer Devs will assemble going "we will be looking into this" *Applys the Legion Effect*
Better learn Wraith and Leatherface if you want any semblance of viable killers.
Survivors complain because certain killers are more commonly seen and all of them demand different playstyles, but those Survivors refuse to learn them than complain about the OP of these Killers. Same with Boosted Survivors from SWF who clearly belong in a lower rank. People would rather clicky clicky at weak killers and abuse them instead, but can't handle it in reverse.

Why not, grant double bloodpoints if you escape a killer with a mori. It can be done. Just play stealthy. If you get farmed then dont blame the killer, thats on your team.
Keys are ok. I just want them removed from being found in chests.
Huntress is very hard to aim with and good survivors can usually dodge most of her throws. If you are caught in melee range of an iri head huntress, might i suggest you may be doing something wrong?
Perma t3 Myers is rare and again easilly countered by paying attention and not letting him stalk. Personally, if i see myers looking at me and i don't think i can lose him quickly, i jump in a locker. He may get me but i negate his only advantage as a killer.
I wouldn't mind keys being in chest with plunders only.
-
Iridescent Head and Myers Mori's should be ok. They require an actual level of skill by the killer or just a really bad survivor.
Prayer beads should be added tho. Makes Spirit go easy mode.

I mean yeah Pig needs QoL changes, but I was hoping that there will be more Pigs and Wraiths in my matches xd
But I literally didn't face them from very long time. LITERALLY.
Currently I'm testing a new hypothesis with the Pigs RBT. Since Pig is one killer I love ruin on because of it creating an additional Objective I've decided not to deploy RBT until it pops. After that I keep 2 RBT out at all times.
I also tend to leave people slugged if they were recently unhooked not because of DS, but because I don't like doing instant rehooks and the added pressure of a slugged person, ruin, and a RBT starts to complicate the match.
I've been using Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, Thrilling Tremors, and BBQ and Chili. I'm not a big fan of BBQ & Chili, but paired with Thrilling Tremors I will always know where people are gonna be regardless of Locker plays or not.

Playing killer seems to lower my stress.

I've actually seen quite a few Pigs lately, shockingly, and even had the odd Wraith here and there. I even played against a Wraith and a Ghost Face during my lunch break today.
Just because this relates to me lately. I have literally only been playing Wraith and Pig for the past month or so.
I always play Adept Killer for the trophy before playing with other perks because I like to play the killer as designed by the Devs to see how they intended the killer to feel. After i did the Wraith I felt he was incredibly fun and have been playing him and Pig non stop lately.
Pig needs some QoL changes with her crouch speed being increased to same speed as GF and her addons being reworked. Maybe add an additional 3 seconds on the trap search bar and the removal of great skill checks. Removing the great skill checks would be exceptionally helpful and I feel stake out should still make them great skill checks.

Finally! More people are seeing sense that Ruin is just not a great perk. There are far better ways to stall and pressure. Heck TTS is a way better hex than Ruin because at least TTS is annoying enough to get survivors OFF of gens to waste time finding it.
TTS?

Ya i didn't see any on my way up to red ranks either.
On the other hand if I see you guys as a killer I'll switch to Billy for you xD I'm actually getting killer games nowadays so I'm ranking back up on ps4.

Well, I have several questions here.
Why do you care so much about hatch escapes? What do hatch escapes have to do with this conversation? Whether you run Ruin or Corrupt Intervention, the hatch always has the potential to give survivors a free escape (Or multiple escapes if they have a key), so I don't see why it has any relevance to this conversation whatsoever.
I use Ruin and defend it, but I could play without it if I really wanted to. I simply choose to use the most effective and versatile stall perk in the game, rather than trying to rely on a slow, conditional stall perk like PGTW, or a situational, killer-dependent perk like Corrupt Intervention. When Ruin pops, I don't disconnect or crumble under a single chase; Ruin has served its purpose by that point, buying me time to end chases, get hooks and start putting some serious pressure on the survivor team.
Ruin is not a liability in any sense of the word, and I don't see why anyone would consider it to be a liability unless they were purposely trying to be an anti-meta contrarian.
Ruin was mostly used to counter the hatch back when I first played. A good killer could destroy a SWF group before the first gen was done and a mediocre killer could do it around the completion of the first gen. Over the last year or so Ruin has slowly changed from how it was once used to a necessary requirement.
I'm not sure why it went from basically helping secure a 4k to being used primarily because people cant play without it and get a 4k. Is it a result of the Reason Ruin was once used or is it a symptom of Killers using it for too long and slowly devolving from being efficent to clunky killers?
Also I'm not directly pointing ar you for being a bad person for using it. I haven't needed Ruin in a long time, but I use it for Pig because it compliments her playstyle and I'm testing a new hypothesis with it. Another reason I might switch and put it on is if I see multiple toolboxes pop up.

Lore wise it would mean the Entity has gotten wise to the survivors using it and closes it up for good.
Gameplay wise Survivor frustrations would go through the roof.
I never liked the hatch change honestly. It punished killers for exceedingly good games well above the standard when hatch wouldn't spawn without 2 gens being done.
On the other hand I know why it was changed for the EGC otherwise survivors could still hold the game hostage against the killer.
Realistically I would like it so keys dont spawn in a trials chest without a person with Plunders looking or someone bringing it in. Also remove Gates being on the same wall on maps.

She slugged the other person to near-death looking for me and then I had to wait out their hook phase.
That's not what I mean. I mean more like I did on the Pig video with Meg and found Feng on the box. I tend to do that if there not around I just hook them and take my chances.
-
@Mikey4Hire said:
The hatch should be able to be opened again once the killer closes it without a key, add a progress bar for 30 seconds or something. With skill checks obviously. It's way too easy for killers to guard the doors and most often than not your gonna die if the doors spawn close. (Most of the time they do)I just find it unfair on both sides if they close the hatch
Maybe we should remove hatch. It causes a lot of problems nowadays.
-
I would rather just slug for a few seconds and look around the immediate area or just patrol the gates. It's a waste of time and BP'S to wait that long as a killer.
-
@Monlyth said:

Well, I still have to disagree. Even if it's found and cleansed almost immediately by a Rank 1 SWF, it still buys you a fair amount of precious time. Corrupt Intervention also buys you time; but it, too, can be countered with relative ease by a Rank 1 SWF.
The survivors can just take turns being chased by the Killer, and if the survivor being chased always leads the killer away from their teammates, then the rest of the team can just repair the gens normally, whether there are 7 active gens or only 4.
The difference from Ruin to Corrupt Intervention is the fact they both immediately have a effect, but whereas Ruin helps the early game by slowing all gen progress down. Corrupt Intervention Helps secure a 3 gen strategy late game. We live in a time where getting a few gens completed no longer matters simply because hatch will auto spawn.
The few people who truely defend Ruin are people who can't play without it. They have adapted to a playstyle that involves Ruin holding gens up so they can chase people regardless of time committed to the chase. These are the people who when Ruin pops either DC, Crumble under a single chase, and defend its strengths yet ignore it's serious faults.
Killers are a little slow to adapt to new metas trying to keep their outdated philosophies and builds. While Ruin was at one point single handedly the reason to prevent hatch escapes in the past nowadays it's more a liability then a strength.

800 per fragment, 10 fragments per tier. You'll need 8,000 XP total to get one tier. A match tends to give you around 500 XP, with an extra 300 for your first killer and survivor match each day.
Not sure what you mean by CPU, though.
Hey @Peanits this might be a odd question, but how long in testing did it take for Devs to get a average for how long it too them to get all 70 tiers?

level 20, 19, 18 and 17 are easy to get out of why is 16 hard to get out of.

Sure, you might be showing off (time) exclusive items, but you’re also showing your fellow players you either spent ALOT of time playing or you spent ALOT of money leveling into the high levels already, which is either impressive or sad (I think it’s the latter.)
Just played against a really sweaty killer who was showing off rift items only available in the higher levels of the premium track lol. I hope they’re enjoying themselves.
So people who put the time and effort into the games they like are sad now? Rift is easy to do in the first place. Between the challenges and regular playtime you should be done by the 3rd tome.

When the killer is slugging for the 4K, don’t crawl to your teammate, that is what the killer wants you to do. Most killers are going to stalk you from a distance so you’re going to cause you and your teammate to die. Best thing to do is crawl somewhere to die.
Must crawl to nearest hook he takes you too though. They always get confused. Now proceed to get the 4%.

I've had three games in the past few days where the totem couldn't be found by anyone and we just wandered around like idiots for a joyless 30 minute game. I'm not gonna play survivor anymore for a while, and I might not play DBD for a while actually. There's just been so many negative emotions like boredom and frustration that the thought of the game just seems boring to me now.
How about we do something about Ruin.
X
Sorry, but your attitude does not match a typical red rank. Any red rank Survivor will not bother looking for ruin after maybe a lap or less if they bother. I don't even think Purple ranks care much either they might spend some time looking as well. Stop searching and do the gen. It takes less time to do a gen then it takes to look around the map for 30 minutes.
While I personally dont commonly use Ruin as my slow down perk of choice because I find it unreliable and weak. I do understand why a lot of people choose to run it and why it is necessary. If anyone bothers to use it outside of purple rank and above the reality is they are bad at the game or leveling Hag.
-
I find Killer more relaxing anymore. Survivors too stressful with honestly bad teammates and bunch of campers or tunneling. Even worse are the teammates who play for hatch after first hook.
-
Ghostface is incredibly good and versatile if you know what your doing. My friend mains him, Legion, and Hag at rank 1.
Ghostface has 2 good perks vs legions 1 good perk. Sadly imho Discordance is a underrated perk and its incredibly powerful for awareness. I love using Discordance, Thrilling Tremors, Pop Goes the Weasel, and A Nurse's Calling on GF.
