Corrupt Intervention is your best bet. Also Ruins sole purpose above rank 10 is to get you that first hook.

after 2400 hours i still dont understand that map.
How many offerings do you have for it? Run Windows of Opportunity and Wakeup. After a little bit you'll start to kinda get some sort of inner compass and semblance to the pattern.

@HamdaN said:
for survivor AND killer this map is a god damn mess, every room is unpredictable, the map is a messy maze and every pallet is unsafe. its so hard not to dc on this map.
I have a great time on this map as the following Killers
- Trapper
- Hag
- Doctor
- Myers
- Leatherface
- Freddy
- Pig
- Clown
- Spirit
- Legion
- Plague
- Ghostface
- Demogorgan
I do incredibly well as a survivor depending on who the killer is tho. If it's a Hag, Pig, Ghostface, or a good Myers its generally a guaranteed loss.
If your DCing or considering it. It's the lack of familiarity with the map and the title set. The map is heavily killer sided, but mostly a 60/40 Split. With specific killers it jumps further into one side.

Why do an “anti-heal” build on Ghostface when you can do one on Spirit or Nurse who have better map pressure and chase potential? Ghostface is so overrated as killer. I really don’t see the hype. Sure he’s probably the best “stealth killer” (although I believe Myers is just as good) but other killers are just better. Plus he is the only killer whose power can he taken away from them.
I think Billy is top tier but he’s at the bottom of top tier. Nurse, Spirit, and Hag are much better IMO. He could even get pushed out of top tier if Oni stays the same because in his current state, Oni is definitely better than Billy.
Billy can get looped easily and if he gets an indoor map then good luck. Still don’t see why people want him nerfed. Just find a strong structure and proceed to waste his time. This is exactly why is isn’t as strong as Nurse, Spirit, or Hag. They won’t be getting looped for a long period of time like Billy.
All that map pressure means nothing if the survivors make his chainsaw worthless and turn him into M1Billy.
The reason Nurses is good on GF is solely because it makes him more versatile not more viable. Sadly you dont need the rest of the Talentless Build for him to be good. A good player wouldn't need it anyways.
The reason Spirit and Nurse dont use this build is simply because its a gimmick build worthy of Monto. I would say in terms of stealth Killers I would say Ghostface, Pig, Wraith. I dont see Myers as a stealth killer. Even then I think Myers is worse then both Ghostface and Pig.
I still think Huntress is stronger than Billy. Huntress has some bad Maps like Billy, but she can still use her kit even in those maps. Huntress maybe a 110, but at least she can do melee hatchets to be a near instantaneous Killer.
Billy on some maps has little to no use for his Ability. At that point Leatherface would be better. I compare Huntress and Hag a lot and depending on the day I view one stronger then the other.
At this point in DBD though my idea of a tier list has changed tho. I believe a tier list is based on viable killers who have the ability to excel, but I've seen some people who use low tier killers excel against some of the same SWF that a high tier killer had trouble against. I'm starting to personally believe that fun and enjoyment factors into the skill.
In anything competitive I have played with RNG elements. I have noticed that usually the person who has high end or upper tier stuff usually has a easier time from the start, but the person who fine tunes and gets skilled with a weaker part usually wins overall because they enjoyed it more.

Actually... working as intended is sinonimous with working as it should.
You can say you think it would work better if the range was smaller. But it is working in the way they set it to work.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/859925#Comment_859925
It uses the highest rank of a swf team to match with the killer. But it uses this range of 6 for the match.
It doesn't start at 6, it increases with the time you have been waiting
That's odd. Until the recent changes I had to quit playing killer on PS4 because lobbies took 20 mins or longer I was struggling to obtain rank 10 due to the wait time. Nowadays I get lobbies near instantly and I'm always paired up significantly.
I also seem to be getting Nat Type constantly as a Survivor as well since the new lobby update. I enjoy both sides hense the reason I play both, but I really only get to play Killer I also mad respect console players for having to deal with the controller and auto aim.

Hag Changes
- Added back the teleport stun. We are so sorry survivors. Forgive us.
- Reduced traps from 10 to 5
- Traps no longer recycle. They must be triggered to regain their use.
- Survivors can now disable traps by staring at them. Similar to breaking Ghostface out of cloak.
Ghostface Changes
- Looking at any part of Ghostface instantly breaks him out of cloak.
- Added 5 second stun for being forced out of cloak.
We feel these changes better refect our vision on what a killer in Dead by Daylight should be like. Hopefully this will make each killer more fun to play and play against.
Cloak is now enabled after every stun.
You need this too

The matchmaking works in a range of 6.

Still this is excessive. Imagine if I was a first time purple and never played against red rank wannabes.
I thought it was supposed to match highest rank to killer rank.

For a good majority of the players who follow Tru3 I would agree. The few who can lean stalk and stealth stalk can instadown you faster then you know what's happening. Than again I see why some people are starting to refer to him as TruelyTalentless anymore. I just thought it was my own personal joke.

Ever since Endgame Collapse has appeared, there has been a rampant rise in slugging in order to get a 4k. I personally believe this to be unhealthy as you are basically holding the game hostage and artificially extending its duration.
Killers are also complaining about the abuse of keys, yet they themselves are (probably) actually forcing Survivors to bring them to dodge this "strategy".
Force out the Survivor by hunting the hatch and closing it. They'll fairly reliably go for the two objective points. It also makes the game better for everyone.
And yes I play killer. Pig, Myers, Spirit and Doctor. 3/4 that I play are not mobility killers.
I slug as well, but not to the point I care if u get hatch or not. Mostly I check the immediate area and then hook you if I didnt find ya.

I usually go for adepts after rank reset because it is much easier to get a double pip. It’s gonna be a bit harder after the rank changes because I’m usually a red rank killer sadly. Just glad I have all the current killer/survivor adepts. ESPECIALLY Nurse and Legion. Those were terrible to try and get.
Plague was one of the harder ones to get adept for because she doesn’t pip very well. One time I killed all survivors and I de-pipped.
Plague has a lot of unique builds to run. I usually stick with BBQ, Ruin, M&A, and Thantaophobia. A pretty basic build. I heard Dying Light is very good on her.
Definitely not looking forward to the reset tbh.
I use BBQ&C, Ruin, Infectious Fright, and Discordance. When I get more comfortable with her I'll drop Ruin.

Plague is extremely fun to play and she’s a great killer as well. She is highly underrated. I always have a great time playing Plague whether the team cleanses or not.
Same honestly I enjoyed her more after I adepted her. I dont play with perks outside the teachables until I do the adept.
-
@MegMain98 said:
@PigMainClaudette I play on PS4 and I do mainly play Plague. I have mained her since her release.
She isn’t NEARLY as hindered by controller movement like Nurse or Huntress. She is a pretty straight forward killer. It can be a pain if the survivors run into your model since she is super tall. It can cause you to miss a lot of your puke. All killers are a little limited by controller movements especially ones with projectiles but Plague doesn’t have to be super accurate.
You can get lag spikes but I don’t get them playing Plague. I get BAD lag spikes as Hag and Demogorgon.
Plague is fun.

Plague is the least hindered by aiming with a controller, but the FPS drops aren't really a problem for me as I instead have to contend with GIANT LAG SPIKES because Australian internet.
The bigger problem for those 3 is actually learning to aim without an indication of where you're aiming. This affects the Huntress greatly and really places her lower on the console tier list to the point where she's possibly the weakest killer on console.
Clown and Plague are somewhat of an AoE effect, so Clown you have to get "close enough" and Plague you just swivel the stick back and forth. Then just let your power do all the work for you.
Ya my ex was from there I know about that man I do have sympathy for you.
I dont think Huntress is too bad as I main her, but when I compare her to PC when I play half the time I'm pretty meh on her.

Guarantee you exhausted perk? Please reread the description of the perk, it requires a stipulation in order to work. Picking up pallets again, this will definitely work in yellow ranks, again, not a high rank perk to use unless you want to meme around with.
Also, perks don’t require skill in general, the fact that you name perks and align them with skill in the first place shows your understanding of the game.
I know what it says and I know that it will be fun on certain killers. Not every killer people want to heal against.

We aren’t allowed to go near survivors under any circumstance.
Except to give them party treat bags or stand by a pallet to be willingly stunned.
Guess lately I've been bad since i was trophy hunting on survivors. How dare I chainsaw them, puke on them, or lean stalk them.

Every one knows that the prestige system is bad because basically change nothing on the bloodweb. My idea is: restrict some offerings like memento mori ebueno for prestige III for exemple
Actually it does matter nowadays. Due to the bigger blood webs you get far better offerings. The picture included was taken right after the blood wen changes with the introduction of the Steanger Things dlc. I have also prestiged my Pig and gotten far better offerings as well in the last few days.
Also switching Ebony and Ivory rarity would solve the issue at hand. I have dozens of Ebony, but barely any ivory.

Or at 1! I mean, once you've hooked 1 person, the match is basically over! That 1 person is not having fun, and it'd be sweaty to try for 2! How rude can Killers be, trying to ruin the fun for TWO whole players!? Just be happy you hooked one person and go stand in a corner!
Or maybe 0! I mean, the first person hooked is being removed from the game unfairly! They did not get to earn allot of BP, so how can you Killers hook that first person!? How can you keep them from playing the game and still sleep at night!? Just stop hooking people alltogether! Be a cool guy and don't hook anyone!
You talking about slugging the whole team or slugging last person for hatch escapes?

Your not wrong, but it so just takes longer to restart the animation between getting up and waiting and then getting back on.
Depends in the day and or match some days I'm a god at skill checks other days I'm clearly a boosted animal from rank 25.

Plague is not nearly as hindered by FPS from PC to Console like Huntress or Nurse tho.

Originally the matchmaking for SWF was based on the lowest ranked player in the group (I think, correct me if i'm wrong).
Then they changed it to take the average rank of the group, but it would usually be very very close to the lowest ranked player in the group. Meaning, it would match with a lower ranked killer and that killer would get destroyed by 4 red rank players and a grey rank player.
Now, it takes the highest ranked player in the group. This is fine if you have the aforementioned 4 red ranked players and one grey ranked. BUT. It gets bad when the group is either 2 grey ranks and 2 red, or 3 grey ranks and 1 red, or 2 grey ranks a and 1 red.
The matchmaking of 2 grey ranks and 1 red rank causes a sh*tstorm for the one random red rank player that is put into that lobby. (Myself in this situation).
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/284/HYL0J1DAJVLY.png
This was a match I had to dodge. I couldn't trust those two grey rank players not to get me killed.
I know this matchmaking is not red ranks and grey ranks, but the difference is more than 6 ranks below me and the other green rank person. They shouldve gotten put into a grey/yellow ranked lobby, since the majority of their swf was grey ranks. But because of their one green rank friend, they get put with me.
There should be some change implemented that will put the group into a lower rank lobby if the majority of the group is lower ranked. if it's 1/2, it takes the high ranks. if it's 1/4, it takes the low ranks. You get it. The solo player that gets matched with them should not be considered when the matchmaking is decided for swf groups. Because that solo will have no communication with that swf, so it gives them a harder time.
Dude your rank 9 you woulda pipped regardless. Dodging people is kinda sad because of rank. Most people are boosted animals anyways. I generally get these kinda games on PS4. Iirc this was 3 p3 claudette's and a detective tapp on the clowns map.

Well said, good basis to say a current state of said Killer.
Honestly I could go on a huge rant about gen pressure and why people solely rely on Hex: Ruin despite it being bad for them. It's the fundamentals of a killer that should not be neglected yet too often I see people neglect a huge part of the killer side.
- Survivor Pressure
- Map Pressure
- Generator Pressure
- Time Management
As a killer it's your job to micromanage each of these 4 categories. You need to give survivors a reason to get off the gens I.E. Hooks, Slugged Survivor, Chases, Healing, ETC. You need to understand if you have chased the survivor too long without any gain. Be aware of gen progress, but still have some form of map pressure. Understand which gens u need to protect for end game in case things go south.
Yet how many players in general seem to know how to do more then 1 or 2. Some killers actually help create pressure due to powers. Spirit, Myers, Plague, Pig, Ghostface, Wraith, Hag, Trapper, Freddy, and Demogorgan are these killers yet most are considered low low tier.
Sorry random rant lmao

So your upset Legion now requires 3 hits instead of 2? Legions the same killer with some slight buffs. Let Legion mains have some fun as well instead of constantly bullying them for the lack of overall power this rework gave them.

I don't think comparing Killers is the way to go about it, it'd be nice if he got buffed but they both have their ups and downs, you can even use Myers' stalk to find people, you got subtle changes, as well as big.
Thats the basis of a tier system though. If X killer has similar power to Y Killer , but as a result Z Killer still performs better overall.
A huge massively part of playing Killer is
- Who do you enjoy playing?
- What are you proficient in?
- What are you lacking in?
- Are there perks that help with those weaknesses?
You can play low tier killers and dominate with them because you enjoy them more then a higher performing one. Most of the upper tier killers are universally good and you wont need to really be that good with them to dominate I.E Billy and Spirit.
Mostly it comes down to what are you playing killer for? Do you need a 4k by any means necessary even if you dont enjoy said killer? Do you find it fun to win with lower tiered killers? Just for a daily?

That's what i think. His power is outdated, and plays too slowly
I think Myers is cool because of how versatile his addon suite is. I hate how you can't be seen all game then bam he insta downs you. I won't block for a friend anymore with him since I usually get tombstoned helping him.
More and more killers are being pushed down by newer killers. While Survivors meta change base on perks and counters. The killer meta changes based on perks and powers. It's why certain killers never see play outside the rare main or daily anymore.

Survivor perks get nerfed too. I think decisive strike got nerfed because many people complained
DS honestly needed a nerf. The game itself is based around time management for both sides. Having a chase with 1 good person then getting hit with DS either because of body blocking or just because u chased the obsession was brutal.
Missing a Survivor with Dead Hard or Dropping a Pallet too early on a loop can't even compaire to the damage old DS caused. Not to mention it was toxic based on juggling and just slugging the obsession worse then these days.

Myers has been slowly dropping in power for awhile now. Most of the great Myers I see anymore have jumped to Ghostface who is more fair and more fun to play. A Good Ghostface will dominate a match harder then Myers ever could.
Not talking about that crappy build TrueTalent came up with either. While Nurse's Calling is amazing in him it's mostly used to make it so your more versatile and less weak in certain maps.
Some people are starting to think he dropped from A to Mid class. I find it funny it's not that he's weaker just other killers do what he can better anymore.

A perk that lets u reuse unbroken pallets even if it has a timer is incredibly powerful.

OP was refering to a tap being able to stop regression, not anything about ruin.
Oh my bad. Normally I start reading and it's about Ruin. I do agree that to stop gen regression should be as long as a killer needs to hit it. Them tapping and us being locked in place for a second or so is annoying mid chase.
-
@MightyDwight said:
I'm basically done kicking generators. I've watched a ton of streamers, and I've seen Survivors basically blow the Generators a kiss and they stop sparking. It's lame as heck.
So here's a fix:
Generators stop actively regressing if they are being worked on, but RESUME regressing if left alone unless a successful skillcheck is made. A failed skillcheck will NOT stop a generator from resuming regressing if the Survivor stops working on it.
This will stop Survivors from literally running circles around a generator and tapping it in less than a second without losing any chase power. This also takes into acocunt Pop and Overcharge; if the Survivors SUCCEEDS; the gen stops Regressing. If they fail; it keeps regressing.
Not that it's really a issue it takes so long to gen tap a generator. Its quicker to actually just do it and live with missing a few skill checks.
Instead of relying on Ruin to do your job for you maybe you should learn more then just chases.

Pretty sure they need the in game player cloud ID. Every time something goes wrong in the game that's what they requested to double check.
You should've said "for reals? My dad does too who's your dad? Mines *insert random name*" then when he replied go like "ya my dads never heard of him"

I wouldn't be surprised if you did get banned as you'd be the first one. Cause why ban for legitimate reasons when they can ban over salty survivors. What he didn't tell you is his daddy's a janitor and the closest he gets to the devs is the glass between them as he's washing the windows.
Yet he is already on his second written notice and is on probation and most likely to be fired. His child has a lot of issues at school and home that gets directed at games.
