We already have Jason as The Trapper and Pennywise as The Clown. This doesnt make sense unless they replace those two characters.
-
So i may have one out of ten games a higher ranked team beating me to a pulp. 75% of my matches are 4k, and I basically just play Trapper besides challenges and dailies. You obviously do not understand how to play killer well enough.
-
Literally everything is false in this opening post. This game obviously needs a killer walk through guide for all those bad players.
-
You probably didnt found the third gen.
-
As survivor you only get hit by "legit killer strategies" if you dont run meta perks. So no possibility in running anything besides meta.
-
People will understand during this Rift that Legion isnt as bad as forum killer mains wanna make him look like.
-
Yeah really bad those 1% SWFs.
-
Even with the poor quality of the video, I could see her. But sure, its always the games fault. Or the survivors.

I think it absolutely can. Instead of emblems that reset every month we'll have a permanent ranking system that works in the background. We cannot see if, we cannot truly know how to affect it and it will feel really unfair to many, many players. DbD is not a level playing field. It's an asymmetrical survival game. If that Billy decides to facecamp you, where's your player agency? The entire point of MMR is to rate your personal skill to match it against others, but there are too many factors in the game that affect your experience and you have no say in it.
So yes, the new system WILL be worse than the current system.
Thats exactly the same as in shooter games. If you get killed by a house camper, that will affect youre rating. Its still better than just a playtime-matchmaking, cause thats what the ranking system is all about. Thats why rank reset is meaningless.
-
Yeah survivors should just drop dead right off the bat.
-
So survivor A gets unhooked and 2 seconds later survivor B gets hooked. Survivor A loses 29 seconds. So you make him even easier to tunnel. Great idea.
-
Why? Cause devs allow it (esp. on killers).

It's @LetsPlayTogether a dev? No.
Would you @LetsPlayTogether word over a dev word? and dont try to derail from the discussion, DS isn't a anti tunnel perk and I already debunked you're thread (if that's what you wanted)
Can you write in proper english? I dont understand a word.
-
How about we put this time on top of the stun?
-
DS is the only perk that delays tunneling, its doesnt end it (besides EGC) or even counters it.

You know what's OP in this game... SWF using comms. Let's killer have out flashlight nerf.
Or just learn how to play this game.

tunneling would be focusing on a single target. You get tunnel vision on them and them alone.
So if a survivor gets unhooked and youre tunneling this one, another survivor gets unhooked too. You down your tunneled survivor and go right after the second unhook. Both got tunneled. You would deserve both DS.

Because you can't tunnel halve the enemy team
WHY not?
-
@Steah said:
If DS is suppose to be an anti tunneling perk, then multiple decisive strikes should not be active at the same time
WHY not?
-
Indoor maps + (No)Shelter Woods
and due to latest maps changes esp. autoheavens with big deadzones e.g. in front of exit gates and shack.
-
It cant be worse than the actual matchmaking.

Hello,
topic says all. Survivors have enough perks or playstyles to counter it. I know it can be frustrating but stop complain about it. It´s like with Noed, Bloodwarden and stuff like this. Theres is no day survivors didn´t complain about stuff that exists since release the game.
Wow ... 5s stun and then you get still tunneled. Wow BT ... and then you get still tunneled. Great "counters". Why do you guys even try to justify this bullshit every time with non-arguments?

Its always your fault you biased, toxic kid. Love how you never respond to legit critism because you have zero clue what you should response because you know they are right.
Iam sick of these legends of killer critisism on forums. There's hardly one reasonable critisism in a week from killers. Most is like this just biased rants. But hey, survivors are at fault. always. And killers are allowed to ruin others game time. GG EZ like your folks says.
-
This threads shows exactly why this game is so annoying. But hey, its always the survivors fault. LOL
-
Can confirm this. Its even worse cause you sometimes doent even hear ths sound (even if the sound plays) cause its too low.
-
So you just want more bugs in game? Makes sense.
-
If you have internet issues, fix them yourself. Its not the games fault.
-
It doesnt matter what the survivors does. If you straight up go for him after unhook its tunneling. Stop justifying your cheap play with even cheaper "arguments".

This game isn't a 1v1.
If so why camping? This is 1vs1.

People need to realize two things
1: It is THEIR job to safely unhook, not the killer's!
2: If they hide after unhooking and allow their injured teammate to hobble off leaving scratch marks that is THEIR fault, not the killer's.
Simple stuff really.
It's not the survivor choice to safely unhook or not. Its the killer's.
Also its not the survivors fault if the killer is back before a heal can be done or the unhooked runs off like a Scaredy Cat.
People like you dont even understand the simple stuff.

Tunneling is just doing the killers job efficiently
Its probably not. For just chasing one person you lose all map pressure you may be able to apply. If played right by others its the exact same outcome as camping. Its NOT efficient.
-
This is one of the worst "arguments" ive ever read. Even your conclusion on numbers are wrong.
-
So then show me how youre speficially preventing someone else from doing its objective by doing gens. Killer is still able to do what he needs to do (chasing, downing, hooking). If a survivors gets tunneled he cant do gens at all. tunneling is just to annoy other players.
-
Its the same equation as before.
-
So the game becomes completely unplayable. Pretty good job so far. But no wonder if you look at your other posts.
-
You obviously dont know anything about this game.
-
So how do you gens if you get face camped?
-
So tunneling and camping is okay?
-
So its unfun to have high kill rates?
-
Same applies to killers.
-
So its just 5 min. Take it and carry on. also you could just have waited till the survivor DCs. It was also in his responsibility to not take advantage of this.
-
Whats wrong with this guy? I think he needs some treatment.
-
So first you still could have gotten a slight connections timeout. Second, 5 Minutes is nothing to rant about. Third, there is no possible perma ban.

Ayrun's video shows how consistently Head On can be used, that's why I mentioned it. If you're having problems with the perk, might want to check your Internet connection.
My connection is pretty fine. And the perk is far away from being consistent. But hey, i can also make videos looking DH being perfectly consistent. Like I said, its just faking issues.

I'm sure those animations make my point entirely null xD
If Head On is so inconsistent how do you explain Ayrun's Head On video?
I really dont care what this video is about and i dont want to see it, cause those videos are no evidence at all. Theyre just trying to make it look like something it isnt. Like those stupid threads with "look gens fly so hard" and in the end they get 4k or "hey mm is soo bad i get matched with reds all day long" but hey on the same screenshot they get 4ks. that just faking issues.
-
Adrenaline isnt as good as you might think. most of the time you dont get any benefit cause youre dead, full health and/or not in a chase. Its very situational. Its still a good perk, but just far too overused.
-
@Waffleyumboy said:
It takes 3 seconds because it stuns for 3 seconds. It's a trade so you don't get more distance than SB, BL, or Lithe. Would you rather it activate immediately but stun for 0 seconds?
Thats entirely wrong. The timer is 3s but you it just starts if you stand in a locker which takes additional time. Also I really doubt its 3s. If I try stopping time its alsways between 4 and 5 seconds. Also the stun doesnt give you back 3s of time, its less due to animations your character goes through. Head On still doesnt have a radius indicator, which is highly needed to see if it even would hit with this goddamn awful hitboxes. Also often you get hit first and the stun comes second to that, if the stun even happens, which also happens quite often. Head on is probably the worst inconsistent perk in the game. And like always: devs dont care.
-
NOED at least needs a serious rework. the design atm is utterly bs. Flashlights are easily countered ans most likely gives you additional pressure.
-
How about wearing glasses? I never had any problems with Yamaoka and this is the only map where survivors really have the chance to play stealthy. this is typical killer ranting, grounded on bad skill.
-
Most maps are too bright. The game had far better setting before they did what you want.
