It is still going on for a week. The amount of time you have to play it has not changed.

I thought it was just over the weekend? Well thats awesome. I'll atleast get to play it on the last day of the event! That's exciting.

  • EDIT: Anyone else who goes to Youmacon (or any convention rather) let's see those Dead By Daylight cosplays in the chat!

  • Get teabagged. Eat pallets. Open the door so they can leave. Cry.

  • This would be really helpful during those moments when survivors double back over pallets after you blink.

I'm a lactard so I can't really eat it but cinnamon toast crunch, cocoa pebbles.

  • We're gonna farm forever. Empathy.

  • I think im there with ya. The game itself isn't THAT bad to me, it's just constantly broken. I had stopped playing about a 2 months before Ghost Face came out and only came back for Stranger Things but the game is WAY more broken than it ever was before and honestly? Its been pretty effin bad, since it came out on consoles.

  • @iBetClaudette said:

This game is a total crapfest on console (PS4). Bugs, glitches, and lags that pull your survivor back to the killer while trying to run away. Not gonna spend more cash while it's like this on the PS4.

Yeah. I think im ready to just delete dbd, it's been in a bad place for awhile and now its just competely broken.

Per ex. Just waited for 15 min lobbies with a SWF (me and 1 guy) and each time we loaded into a game, either there was no killer at all and it was just us restarting the already long queue, or he would join and i wouldn't or vice versa. So 15- 15- 15-

So i tried to go back to killer but queue times arent any better, waited 15 minutes and never even found an empty lobby so I just got offline.

  • This game is damn near unplayable due to broken game issues, a hunt pass is the least of their worries.

  • @BlueFang said:

Yeah it is pretty silly how a survivor can just touch a gen to stop it regressing, meanwhile the killer has to enter a 3 second kicking animation to do the same thing. Still it can be of benefit if you are running overcharge or weasel, it's always really awesome to get a 50% gen regression because some silly nea thought she was doing a good thing by tapping the generator with red sparks

I played a game early and dominoe effected two gens back to zero from a full roar

  • *hell for everyone

Since they break the game every x2 bloodpoints. Queue times for swf, solo and killer is around 20 minutes on ps4.

  • I love when survivors gen tap, it lets me use my pop goes the weasel again.

  • I just wish they didn't destroy ps4 servers during every single event lmao. This is why I quit playing this game in the first place, I only came back for the Stranger Things update. And surprise surprise, they broke the game, againagainagainagainagainagain.

  • Twitch con? I'm more worried about the broken servers.

  • It isnt just killer on ps4. Every single lobby takes at bare minimum 15 minutes. And that's being generous. Someone put the lobbys through a paper shredder. I've been trying to play all weekend but this game's content creators are wack and keep breaking the game lol.

  • "When people have a chance to gain double bloodpoints they play extra well to earn even more bloodpoints"

  • Just took me literally 30 minutes to find an empty killer lobby. Waited another 5 mins for survivors to load in and wahla. Only 35 minutes for a game bois! Matchmaking is getting better!

  • Yeah ive noticed this. If the End Game timer is at like less than half, then there's a chance that the game auto ends and everyone becomes nea- i mean entity chow.

  • I already had two different friends delete there copy of DBD. It'd be one thing if the issue was acknowledged and being worked on but as far as I've noticed everyone is pretty radio silent.

The fact that this happens around almost every event is just...unnaceptable at this point honestly. Waiting 20 some minutes just for a game on either side, survivor and killer. Its just sad, really

  • Just played a game where I double blinded the spirit at a pallet yesterday. It can be done.

  • As a Spirit main she's easily one of the strongest killers. She has unbelievable pressure.

  • I double pipped as killer with no sacrifices 💁

  • What a surprise, they're probably going to extend the event like they always do since the game always seems to be broken during events lmao.

  • The Spirit

Overcharge, Pop Goes The Weasel, Brutal Strength, Devour Hope, Thanataphobia, Ruin, if you must.

Any of these perks in combination will drastically halter Survivors progression.

  • I don't know if this counts or not but imagine a Shapeshifter killer.

Killer starts as whatever they want the Shapeshifter killer to be like, some crazy monster.

    Normal base m1 killer.

Every time the killer hits a survivor he gains a token for that survivor, he gains the ability to transform into that survivor. This could be super sneaky and a distinctly different power / play style to add to the game.

I imagine there would be some sort of bar / timer like the wraiths cloak / uncloak.

  • I have fast internet, good modem and router, and a ps4 pro with a super fast t.v.

It isn't about the product, the game is laggy as heck rn. Everyones DBZ warping all over the place. Strongest perk dropping frame rate OP.

  • I have to agree, I've played 10+ matches tonight and only played the new map once or twice.

  • @AChaoticKiller said:

For real? 4 head ons wow thats either some really dumb killers your playing against or your trying to get them with it a lot. Once i know someone has head on i just swing into a locker i would check or a locker someone would be in and a lot of the time i hit them as they stun me which i wouldn't count as getting a successful head on stun. it can be used on the killer when hes chasing someone else but every survivor thats tried that with me i heard them go into the locker except for one case were a survivor used Q&Q but he still didn't extend the chase too much. when someone is hiding by a gen thats been worked on its obvious they're using it when i know they have it, if they are hiding in a random locker simply looking at the lockers while passing them scares people into using it which saves time looking for them. i feel like the perk just gives people too much confidence but it makes lockers semi viable for safety.

Yeah. I basically just TRY and get as many head on per game as I can lol. Its a goal. But i still tty and stay productive and do gens and not just hide in lockers all day like a Dwight

  • The top 5 ways to use Head On!

    1: The (Smart) Save:

Have a survivor die (position yourself accordingly for quick saves / randoms) in a spot that will make the killer have to walk passed a locker to get to a hook, this will usually rely on a little bit of dumb luck that the killer will walk to the hook you have in mind, but when in a pinch...

    2: The (SWF/Dumb) Save:

Don't get me wrong, this method will work once, any more than that, and the killer is just not paying attention. This method involves a survivor dying directly in front of a locker that you're in, as soon as the killer picks the survivor up and leaves animation, Head On.

    3: Looping pt. 1:

These next three don't necessarily NEED Quick and Quiet, it just makes it significantly easier to pull off. Method 1 involves flipping into a locker right in the middle of the chase, this is best used after pallet stunning the killer, or when killer doubles back for mind games. Usually the killer will notice in due time you went into the locker after wasting 4 or 5 seconds trying to find you. Head On to waste even more of his time.

    4: Looping pt. 2:

Exactly the same method as pt. 1 except this is to be used while another survivor is looping the killer, this can save an injured survivor from a dead hit, or bloodlust 3. This can also pull the agro away from someone being tunneled.

    5: Houdini Smash:

This is my all time favorite way to head on. Find 2 lockers right near eachother, preferably directly acrossed from eachother. Make a loud sound check on the locker by fast vaulting out of the locker (right before quick & quiet is about to come back) then immediately flip into the locker across from the one you vaulted out of. Usually the killer will waste his time coming to check the locker which then allows a free Head On.

Disclaimer: step 5 almost always pulls the killers agro.

    BONUS

    6: The Basement Locker.

Basement saves with Head On are tricky but flip into the far left (right? Closest to the hooks) locker at the bottom of the stairs. If you time it right you can actually Head On The killer for some OP basement saves.

  • @HatCreature said:

I'm ok with it, I have never seen anyone get that many stuns in one match before, I would love to know how you do it as I love Head-On.

To be honest, if 1 person gets me with Head-On more than once I will want that person dead and will see it as an accomplishment. I may smack you a few times but compared to how many times I got stunned that seems fair but it's all in good fun.

Its all about wasting all of your time. Instead of being a productive gen jockey like your survivor friends you spend all your time being a big fat altruistic locker flipper lolol.

Have a friend who is good at looping the killer and have them run Vigil for ultimate Head On experience!

  • @Boss said:

You're right that i don't like being stunned.

I don't like getting stunned in any game.

But i'm not gonna be toxic about it.

    That's fair. Good mindset!

  • @Blackowt_9120 said:

i imagine you’re in brown ranks, maybe green. That can work like once per match above that though, but usually just the once

Well..rank just reset lol. But ive been playing head on consistently in red and purple ranks since the perk came out (even when it was bugged and broken!)

Lots and lots of practice lol.

  • Head on is extremely situational, having the be in a locker, wait 3 seconds, jump out at the right time AND have the killer in range.

To me, that's what makes this perk so thrilling to use. It's such an unexpected perk that killers aren't normally on the lookout for, then once you've landed 1 or 2, the killers are prepared for it. That's when the perk becomes even MORE fun to use because it's even that much more rewarding to land!

My favorite is to sneak into random's being chased in loops and flipping in and out of a locker and getting a Head On to buy the guy being chased some extra time.

Yea head on can be a bummer but 3 seconds isn't a lot in the long run

It really isn't much. Its more of a nuisance than anything lol. Until its a grab save.

  • @FishFry247 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/87744/question-for-the-killers

Not toxic it just becomes really expected after the first stun so don't expect to get it off many times unless you got a squad running it

Nahhh. I've been a quick and quiet main since before head on came out. I can land more Head On than you would think lol.

  • @Alice_pbg said:

I see it the same way I see flashlight saves.

"Oh you motherf..." and then I procced to play normally. It doesn't bother me.

Unless it happens again, then I get angry at myself for falling for it again XD

    Thats a good mindset! Lol

  • Flashlight saves? No no no.

It's all about those Head On saves!

  • The perk is rather difficult to use, so i feel theres a pretty big gap of luck and skill to properly utilize Head On. The perk is one of the worst exhaustion perks realistically, but i still manage to buy time mid chase, or even get some clutch saves when killers carrying survivors lol.

  • I would absolutely love Nea to get taken over by the entity and become the killer which is just actual Nea but with the Entity arms coming out of her back or half an entity face or something.

Entity Evasion, Steet Entity and Balanced Entity.

Entity Evasion: The killer unlocks the ability to crouch walk at 75%/90%/105% normal speed.

Street Entity: Increases the Efficiency of your killer ability, making it last longer.

Balanced Entity: When landing on the ground from a high spot you gain a small speed burst that causes exhaustion.

Entity's wrath: Allows the entity to make a small leap in one direction, this leap has a charge that will determind how far you can leap. You can use this leap to go over pallets at full charge.

  • Woah this is an old post. Ive also learned that a 4k with ANY survivor killed during end game, won't count.

  • I like No Mither but I think a very simpe fix for it.

    -100% noise suppression

    - You start full health, after you go down the first time you become broken. That way they wont immediately ignore the slug, and will get rid of the meme factor lol

Is everyone using every single ebony they have in their inventory now? pulls out 654 ebonies "time to torture some poor souls".

I guess its time. I think i have about 60 with The Spirit so. Let's go.

  • I don't think Head On needs a nerf or a buff. I just think it needs to be FIXED like the post holder said. Head On is my favorite perk, it's just extremely inconsistent. Sometimes you'll hop out, within range, within the parameters of the cooldown and the killer just won't get the stun.

    Pls fix.

@LegitAdventurer fanbois will always defend the stupidity of the company they support. BHVR has a very unique property in DBD, but they are too incompetent to build it up correctly.

I never understand fanbois. Like i can enjoy something and still understand how messed up it is. Just because you like something doesnt mean you have to blindly support it. You can like it and still want it to be better.

Her? Did you just assume the entity's gender?!?! REEEEEEEE

    Well of course. Its Nea.

  • @Pike_Trickfoot said:

@LegitAdventurer Because they pushed back their release until it was ready. I was so mad when I heard it was pushed back (finally a game I could play with my best friend), but now I'm glad they did it.

I used to get upset when release dates move back but now i just want a fully functioning game lol. Take all the time you need, yano?

  • Lemme know if you want to play some Dauntless! Free game and alot less broken than DBD

  • @ad19970 said:

Wait how is your second complaint a problem? The game doesn't need safe windows. Most loops should be mindgameable.

So you're saying that windows shouldnt be used to avoid the killer? That's the whole reason they're in the game lol.

I'm not reffering too when i jump through and the killer is on my ass mid swing. I'm reffering to hopping a window and being 2 steps away and still getting hit. Which is also seen on killer side too. If i ever see a survivor use a window i wil ALWAYS swing, because its almost a guaranteed hit due to windows being broken lol

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/71930/everything-in-this-game-is-broken

To translate this into reasonable and measured speak:

The addition of content on a regular basis great, but with the amount of bug reports that currently go unresolved from both past and present patches of the game maybe it is time to deviate from the standard roadmap. Rainbow Six Siege had similar problems of mounting bug and balance issues that in order to address properly and fully they deviated from their standard roadmap and built a mega patch focused on solving as many issues as possible while adding frame work to continually monitor any unresolved issues or new issues. They called it Operation Health and was very well received by the fan base as the game was drastically improved on all fronts.

This is EXACTLY what this game needs. Instead of adding roadmaps to add a bunch of needless characters, they need to actually sit and work on the fluidity of the game because its in a horrible place right now to be honest.
