That's still a lot of killers though. Most people I know play a single killer for 90% of their games and rarely change it up.
If you play killers because of how strong they are, there's no reason to play anything that isn't Nurse then.
-
There's no reason to use any Hex that isn't Ruin or Devour by themselves. The risk of losing it is too big to use something that has an okay effect at best. It might do something paired with Undying and Thrill, but at this point just go full Hex with Devour/Ruin as well.
So yeah, Bambozlee is better.
-
Look at Billy dude. One year and a half later and what did he get? Engravings are less of a pain to use and his charge time addon got a 5% buff.
-
Your post would have been better if you just called her OP anyway. It's just stupid saying she is not OP and then suggesting completely gutting her anyway.
But just to dismiss your point:
1) There's no way to get damaged by crows while unhooking. The damage path is only 8 meters and she can't place them 10 meters from the hook. She might try to align them from away, but then you can tank the first crow and dodge the second.
2) The hitbox is generous for the same reason Huntress' hitbox is. You can clearly hear her lauching the crows and see their path auras. Getting a cross map snipe is more a problem of the survivor messing up.
3) She moves slower than Nurse while placing the crows. On 90% of the occasions there's enough time for you to chain another tile while she places the crows. The cooldown doesn't need to be longer.
-
Well, you can always stick a piece of tape on the middle of your screen.

You're the second person to mention a crosshair...how am I supposed to attain a crosshair?
Do you play on PC? Some monitors have an option to use a crosshair, and I believe Windows does it as well.
-
His strongest playstyle is still shooting ASAP ("quickscoping"). Don't be fooled by the buff the devs gave to the ADS movement speed, the sluggish sensitivity means it's laughably easy to dodge a Slinger that keeps the gun up like a Huntress.
Pre aim around corners for easier shots. Let's say you're taking a turn at a shack corner, you should be raising your gun around half a second before making the turn and immediately press the shoot button.
Slinger is the only killer that can control where survivors get hit. Try to always reel them away from safe zones after a shot.
Always reel while walking backwards. It makes breaking the chain harder for survivors.
Besides that idk what to tell anymore, he's a pretty straight forward killer.Maybe try a crosshair if you're struggling with the aim. Slinger is as good as you are at shooters.
And welcome to the club of the 5 Slinger players that stayed after the nerf.

For sure - I actually think Empathy is way more valuable than some people make it out to be.
I'd like to note, though, that there are also times in Solo when you should just slam that last gen and bounce, ignoring that guy on the hook.
Discerning when to make a decision like that (among many others) is probably why many people struggle without direct instruction/communication.
I agree. A common thought that people have is that being a good survivor means being good at chases. Lasting long in chase is helpful, but it isn't nearly as important as decision making - knowing when to go for unhooks, what gens need to be prioritized, keeping track of where your teammates are so you don't take the killer to them, knowing when to go for the agro when you haven't been hooked yet and your teammates have, etc. A 10 second chase in the corner of the map sometimes is more valuable than a 60 second chase near a gen that is about to be done, and that seems to be the knowledge people are lacking.
-
Any killer? No.
Any killer that isn't Nurse, Blight, Huntress and Bubba? Yes.
-
Solo is not as bad as everyone thinks it is, especially now with the new matchmaking. MMR was probably the biggest buff solo players have received. If you're a good survivor and equip at least one coordination perk (Kindred, Bond, Empathy, etc), you can win (have 3/4 survivors escaping) more than half of your matches.
-
From an economical stand point it makes for the devs to have a bias toward survivors. 4 wallets vs 1 wallet after all. When they make QoL improvements to killer I can't help but think it is to keep those survivor queues short.
-
Best you can do is to go full Blendette with hatch offering + key and chill on the bushes while your team dies.
-
I hate facing most of the weaker killers: Trapper, Legion, Clown, Pig, etc. My favorite killers to face are Nurse, Blight and Huntress so it's not like I find them OP, it's just because it seems like a trend that the weakest killers also have the most obnoxious powers.
-
I was watching some streamer reporting a hacker once and he told on the stream's chat he already had 125 bans and was aiming for 200.
-
Don't think it's OP at all. We are talking about Clown here. He might get the first survivor by surprise, but after that you can just pre-drop pallets and he will barely have any opportunity to use it.
-
This post is the definition of "how to tell you are bad at survivor withot telling you are bad at survivor".
-
Killer: DH, Iron Will, COH
Survivor: NOED, Rancor... don't really hate anything else.

You and everyone else expecting the devs to just up & fix stretched res have too high expectations for an indie company & then call them lazy or out of their practice when they don't deliver. If it's not that hard then why haven't they fixed it?
Indie company? DBD is on the top 10 most played games on Steam now, and it's popular on console as well. BHVR was indie back in 2016/17, 2021 DBD is a big game.
-
You use it at loops that you can't get a normal M1 hit. Using it to catch up is useless. The only other uses I can think of is to interrupt survivors solving the box or checking gens on upper floors.
-
Survivors hunch over when injured but their hitbox stay the same (vertical). If you were healthy the hit would have looked better.

Thompson House and Temple of Purgation?
Thompson House main building is atrocious to play around and Temple of Purgation is pretty big isn't it?
Yeah, those maps aren't perfect, definitely made a stretch there.

Easy solution - dont care about stretched resolution.
Sure, it should be fixed. But it will not be fixed, at least not anytime soon. So why should I care about stretched resolution? For most cases, you dont know if the Survivor or Killer used stretched resolution and there is no way of proving it. You can only assume. And why should I get worked up on something I cannot prove anyway?
The only way to know if someone is using stretched res if they are a streamer. And most of the time I just have a good laugh if I see that Blight-player with his Blight in the lobby who is more wide than tall and think "Oh my, stretched res of doom" and thats all.
IMO caring about this is just a waste of time. You will have a bad mood without any way of changing anything about stretched res or even knowing if they are actually using it.
Great idea. If everyone starts thinking like this everyone might as well use those aura wall hacks because nobody will care about it.
-
I don't think making exhaustion perks stronger is a good idea.
Although making healing stronger also wasn't a good idea, and it still happened, so...
-
Maybe try Civ?

Maps by far.
We have only 9 actually good and balanced maps: Coal Tower, Ironworks of Misery, Wrecker's Yard, Wretched Shop, Rancid Abbatoir, The Thompson House, Torment Creek, Father Campbell's Chapel and The Temple of Purgation. We are at 37 maps now, so basically only 25% of the maps are fun to play for both sides, and even those can have some problems (god windows on Chapel, deadzones on Shop, etc).
Everything else ranges from "meh" tier (like Eyrie of Crows, Yamaokas, Disturbed Ward) to "absolutely disgusting and anti-fun" tier, like RPD, Haddonfield, Badham and Cowshed.
The team responsible for map design really needs to step up their work. People only care about looks for the first few matches, after that nobody cares how beautiful Eyrie of Crows is if you tilt your head up while the map sucks to play on, it's the gameplay that matters.
-
BL is fine as it is. There are still many very annoying maps that would be way more annoying with old BL.
-
How many months have passed since we got a Twins outfit? Like half a year?
Meanwhile Trickster getting a new outfit every month lol.
-
I just want Elden Ring to come out so I can uninstall this mess already.

What is one more survivor sided map to the collection? 🤣
Ikr. There are like 3 maps that can be considered really killer sided in the game, so it's not like I'm not used to them now. At least on Eyrie the killers that I play the most (Nurse, Blight, Huntress, Slinger, etc) can use their powers, unlike the garbage that I mentioned.
-
I like the map as killer. It's not nearly as bad as old Ormond because most loops are able to be mindgamed. It's a bit more on the survivor side, but at least it's not garbage like RPD, Badham, Haddonfield or Cowshed.
-
I don't know why you think Billy was nerfed into irrelevancy because of Bubba. Bubba was literally a bottom tier killer for 3 years. They nerfed Billy because of unknown reasons, but Spirit is still very solid.
-
Good. Mine is something like this:
Very popular: Nurse, Blight, Huntress, Bubba.
Popular for some unknown reason: Trickster.
Unpopular: everyone else.
-
They are the only killer in the game whose power doesn't help in downing survivors. Even Wraith has a lunge, Trapper has traps, Myers can vault insanely fast with Bambozlee, etc. Their entire kit is countered by simply playing efficiently (aka spliting up) and they take a stun longer Nurse and Blight for using their power. In fact just describing Legion's power sounds dumb: you get to run slightly faster for 10 seconds and get to have some information you can already get from perks like Discordance and Tinkerer.
Edit: they are also among the most garbage killers to play against. Every game against Legion is a snoozefest because looping pure M1 killers is boring and Deep Wounds have to be one of the most annoying mechanics ever added. Definitely needs a total rework.

I love the comment section. So many captain hindsights analysing what he has done wrong and how he could outplay.
The outcome of it is, game is totally balanced, now we only need to nerf NOED, becouse its stupid that i get punished for genrush
Same. It would be nice to see if the people backseating would be able to do anything better.

Movies specifically. I never played the games, but I know it's good for their horror elements.
Yeah, the movies aren't great. I recommend emulating the games though, they are easy to download and a very well worth experience.

Honestly Silent Hill is not scary at all, my opinion. On the other hand... Ringu or its american remake The Ring... pretty scary. Now it depends for each person
Are you talking about the movies or the games? Because the games are honestly some of scariest things I've ever gone through in my life.

I don’t see why people have such issues with these maps. Since the reworks they are MUCH brighter so you can actually see the damn maps. Thompson house I can understand since well it’s Thompson house. But like how is Rotten fields any different from Shelter woods?
The corn now is way worse than it was before the rework.
-
That's how it should be for Blight, Demo, Oni, Bubba and Billy tbh. It's kind of stupid how their powers prioritize breaking the pallet instead of hitting the survivor.
-
Not even the embodiment of punishment (Pyramid Head) managed to do it, wouldn't expect much from Ringu.
-
The shack on Dead Dawg is bigger than the usual shack and has way more cracks you can see through. I don't think all shacks should have breakable walls, especially considering how boring of a mechanic it is. The only thing they need to do is closing ALL the gaps you can see the killer through so it's easier to mindgame.
-
I don't dodge because of SWF, but I dodge some very obvious wannabe bully squads. My gaming time is limited, so I can't afford to waste 10-15 minutes being the object of fun for some 4 friends. My queues are instant anyway, so I can afford to be picky with no problems. Also you can be sure I'll close the game on the loading screen and send you back to queue if I see a Haddonfield/Badham/RPD offering.
-
I hate NOED and I think it doesn't help us killer mains at the long term, but getting mad because you equipped a perk is supreme entitlement.
-
Watch McLean's response to Scott's fake patch notes and you will lose hope of they ever fixing these.

Wonder what kind of debuff Huntress would get from a meme add on. Maybe decrease in hatchet capacity? But Iri head already does that so not sure tbh.
Idk, maybe giving deep wounds instead of downing.
-
That's not even restricted to strong killers. Trapper, Trickster and Clown all have meme addons as well. They probably just forgot about it.
Edit: Huntress also didn't get one in her addon pass, which made me sadge.
-
The nerf to his lunge hurt a lot. It was what allowed him to have some sort of anti loop. Current Wraith is just old Wraith with purple Windstorm + true invisibility from 20m away. Old Wraith was never good to begin with, so...
-
At this point I question the sanity of people who still let the endgame chat active. Seriously dude, the one or two ggs are not worth the amount of insults you're going to get.

Yep! It's true, it's a fun comparison.
Now that DBD is on EGS, I quite badly want a crossover. PLEASE let me give Trapper a gun and put him in a new killing game, he's already gone somewhere else once, he can do it again.
I feel 100% confident that a DBD x Fortnite crossover is only a matter of time now.

Torn Bookmark clearly had nothing to do with Nurse’s overall 40% kill rate, it was presumably because the old version of the perk had an extremely low pick rate.
Don't believe that at all. Other than range and recharge every other Nurse addon probably has extremely low pick rates. They also made it an extremely strong addon paired with Fragile Wheeze, so it's safe to assume they want Nurse's kill rate to increase.
