The really warped thing about the censorship in after game chat , when you are saying something totally innocent and reasonable it makes you look like your flaming like a maniac, i think there be an option to have the censor on or off

Agreed. Bloodlust should be a perk, and not basekit
I actually disagree with the bloodlust comment, i know a lot of players don't like bloodlust but i think it is fair enough if your running a killer long enough for it to proc, this is particularly true when MM throws new killer in with experienced survivors and better killers looking for the best possible result know making bloodlust plays wont be a winning strat
As far as i know bloodlust was never a perk and something added to the game as a baseline mechanic before i started playing in 2018
-
I agree with BVHR , console players are 2nd class citizens who are unworthy of the privilege to be able to talk in game.
Thank you BVHR ....Keep the rabble silent!
-
I hate basekit arguments, nothing needs to be basekit, if you like the effects of a perk run that perk in 1 of your 4 slots
-
Not being ready in 30 seconds, when i run out of weed this really bothers me in a way it should not....but it does
-
I understand the matchmaking for an asymmetrical game like this can be complex but surely it cant be that hard to keep brand new players separated from players like myself with thousands of hours, it makes for bad gaming experience for all concerned, when i was a new player back in 2018 for the most part i was with my fellow noobs having a blast getting to learn and play the game
-
Desperate measures is a super perk and works well on its own and comboed with other healing perks, its autodiadact i feel sorry for, boons really ######### that perk over and its best pairing perk imo (Solidarity) has been ######### over with new haemorrhage
-
Agitation + Mad Grit is the way to go if you don't want to kill the action, if you do want to kill the action run Starstruck and enjoy your boring game

Of course that approach is acceptable as well. It kinda falls flat though when they already have multiple heterosexual relationships added already. And the way they have expanded the lore it is just natural and logical that the relationships - even romantic and sexual ones - are being referred to in the tomes etc.
I just dont give a toss about the lore weather its sexuality or anything else
-
I thought it was better when a characters sexuality was ambiguous and could somewhat be up to the imagination of the individual player, that said I'm not fussed about David being gay in the game at all, I'm here for PVP gameplay
-
If it makes you feel any better they dont listen much to PC players either
-
Slam gens and gtfo boring artist games asap
-
I am a mostly solo queue survivor with thousands of hours now and i really worried about them over buffing solo survivor and making it to easy, the way some people are going on about how bad it is make them seem like crybaby killer mains!
-
It needs changing, it so tedious to use and getting a whole lot of BP dumped on you that you have spend made my heart sink yesterday

I did the math for plundering chests and you lose about 22% of gen progress opening a chest. If you get the best tool box in the game, you actually lose -6% of gen progress than if you had just done a gen. (I didn't check with add-ons).
If you get the best med-kit, the time it takes you to use that med-kit and the time to open the chest would take 34 seconds, Self-Care takes you 32 seconds the perk everyone considers one of the worst perks in the game.
Flashlights and Keys are practically worthless so you lose 22% of gen progress getting either of those items. So 1/2 the time, you are getting an absolutely worthless item when you do a chest and losing precious time doing a gen, even getting the best item.
So Ace in the Hole is extremely bad, because it means you are not doing gens and are doing chests. It's a noob trap.
Just because a perk doesn't help be a boring sweaty loser does NOT make it a bad perk!
-
Dunno why people are saying Ace , his perks are really good, i use ace in the hole and open handed to great effect a lot....rarely use the luck perk but 2 useful perks out of 3 aint bad
-
Go in with a flashlight, this will usually get you playing in way where you pick up bold points
-
Both! otherwise you will end being a deranged weirdo moaning and whining about the other side in these forums)
-
Didn't read the wall off text but yeah she could easily live without them

I see it quite a lot from players running the Power Struggle perk alongside

Yup that was a cheater
There is nothing in that still picture for you to say that with the certainty you have
edit: my bad i didnt notice the comment from OP just before yours, if no boons were done then it has to be a hack
-
It could be but more likely its a duo who wanted to to get all the status effects for the lols / novelty
-
I want BVHR to be seen to be tackling hackers, this behind the scenes, were not going to comment it tactic they have just makes it seem like they are doing nothing....it feels like the hackers have superior development capabilities than BVHR

I'm just done reporting hackers. I mean, this was way easier prior, sure, you had to take 10 minutes outta your day, but this crap is awful. Biggest buff to hackers a dog crap report system.
this is really sad, i discovered the same thing a couple of years ago, you jump through all the hoops they ask you to to make a report and its a totally pointless waste of time
-
I wish the censor thing was optional, some of us dont really give a ######### about bad words, also if people are using hate speech etc then that's documented in chat logs and these people are easily identified and banned by reports

Make kicking gens worth while, make CoH not be unlimited.
As of now there is little reason to do both when you've got a surv ready to die.
CoH is NOT unlimited, its limited by the killers ability to snuff it out

Yeah i been noticing this in the lobby with other black cosmetics showing up as navy blue, tbh by the time i get in game i'm not even thinking about it
-
I only ever kicked those doors if i was winning to easily and wanted give the survs a chance, no way would i want them open otherwise
-
I would be against it even though i have a love/hate feeling for the map, some games it just feels like hell but i've had a fair few really good games on RPD too (both sides) I feel the more i play the map the better i getting to know my way around it and the less frustrating it is, i had a similar felling about Midwich map when that came out but now I've learned the layout i dont dislike that map at all now.
RPD is a very nice looking map and plays a bit different than the others, it would be a real shame to lose that variety.
-
What we need is for BVHR to publicly take on these cheaters, for to long they have said they are doing things to combat this "behind the scenes" but that just seems like a bad excuse for doing very little.
Not only do i want them to actually do something i would like them to be seen to be taking actions, i dont like this "were doing stuff behind the scenes" approach, the same go's for the awful "secret" MMR system
-
I noticed my 1st "subtle" hacker today , suddenly speeding up a little in chase and getting boon shadowstep effects despite that perk or any other scratchmark losing perk being equipped, also seeing a ton of afk m1 (basic attack) bots
They really need to do something about this other than "secret behind the scenes plan" its very disheartening and makes me not want to play

What are the purpose of Nemesis and Agitation on this build? Why not use "remember me", or ... that one that blocks the gate mechanism (from a recent killer)? If the goal is the end-game I mean.
For............FUN
-
Agitation, Blood Warden, Nemisis, Rancor for any killer
This is a fun build build on any killer, rancor'ing a teabagger in a blood wardened gate is very satisfying
Also going for the multi rancor is a lot of fun, i've only got the double so far far but 1 day the triple rancor will be mine)))))))
Tips: Agitation is good for being selective with your BW hook, Nemisis will proc via flashlight stuns, you can often con a survivor into proc'ing nemesis which in turn activates rancor
-
Yes , I liked the previous MM system better, i could find my comfort zone in purple and green ranks and mostly get good games, you could get a rough idea of the level of opponents you were playing.
In the old matchmaking every now and again i would get games where i felt like a god, i finally made it , i was one of the better DBD players and then be humbled in the end screen when i seen i was actually going against very low ranks......I needed that humbling, it helped me gage my the level of my own gameplay, i dont want to feel like a god beating up on new players which is what the new SBMM system give me for the most part.

Everything? I can gain enough pips to hit rank 1 on each side, because I played enough and played competently, but only end up rank 3-4 because I kept losing pips from bad matches. Hits me more as survivor, since getting killed early is based on a lot of factors that are outside of my control.
There's no reason for depipping to exist. I can understand black pipping still being a thing, so you won't rank up by being afk or something, but why can you still go downwards in a system that only measures how much you play?
see the above post

What? In order to reach Iridescent Grade 1, you have to pip up to it. I have earned 20+ pips while stuck at the same grade because of depipping. If it weren't for depipping, I would've reached Iri Grade 1 last week. As is, I won't reach it before the grades reset.
Sorry for late reply, there is no longer depipping it does not exist you only pip up now since SBMM was introduced, there is MMR which is why players are intentionally cheesing there results one way or the other, lowering MMR by afk, not playing etc or trying to raise their MMR by using all the strongest stuff and playing like a scumbag. Getting to rank 1 is mostly a matter of putting the time in, if you play well you will get there quicker. A lot of people still say depipping for afk'ers etc however it is not literally true nowadays

I do. My friend I play with does. A lot of players care. One million BP per Iri 1, so 2 million BP if you reach killer Iri 1 and survivor Iri 1, is a good amount of BP. If you don't care, that's fine, but there are plenty of us who do care.
What's rank rewards got to do with depipping tho?

what happens when there is no walls?
Look up or down, catch the flashy players lurking around your down and whack them, you get a ton of value from "bully squads" they are not doing generators, they are taking damage they dont need to, lightbornes legit to use but when you get better at the game its a waste of a perk slot, just lose your victim mentality and take them on, agitation (trapper perk) is a way better perk to bring to deal with "bully squads" as you can get to further away hook if one get sabo's also you are faster than a running survivor with agi so you can chase down survivors harassing you
edit:spelling , grammer

But how does that factor into rank rewards?
dunno, who cares about rank rewards
-
Because all the the morons that done everything they could to cheese their MMR rating up seem to now be doing everything they can to cheese their MMR rating down
-
People have been saying that non stop since the change happened
-
Its not a problem, killers with a fraction of a braincell just let them sit up there in RPD library, they either bleed out or come down
-
Yeah its rather depressing right now, some people need to realise its a game and you should consider other players fun

... you know medkits are too strong.
I don't harp nearly as hard on medkit healing speed as most others do. But maybe that's just ignorant of me. These instances of survivors being able to heal themselves in less than 10 seconds, no matter how rare, should not even be possible. But even though the heal isn't usually quite that quick, medkits and their healing speed are still an issue.
Ironically nobody at high level uses medkits to heal their teammates. Prior to the introduction of boons, survivors would run a brown, yellow, or purple medkit, and a healing speed add-on OR a green medkit which imo doesn't really need speed add-ons because it's already so fast. Now with boons, they're getting the healing speed bonus from CoH on top of their medkit healing speed OR without a medkit.
Why would you ever use Self-Care nowadays?
What medkits and CoH allow is for survivors to heal themselves very quickly without needing teammates to stop doing gens to heal them. For killers, this is devastating. It can take from 10 to 60 seconds to get 1 hit in depending on what happens in the chase, and if the killer doesn't commit to that injured survivor they basically undo that chase within a couple of seconds. Meanwhile, their team gets to stay on gens because the killer can't be everywhere at once. So survivors can get 2-3 gens done per chase regardless of if the killer commits to downing someone or not.
Not needing to heal each other and instead focusing gens while your teammates heal themselves up is super stress free and game winning for survivors. They save so much time on actions it's insane. Because let me remind you, it's a race against time for killers. Unless you're able to pressure all 4 survivors at once, they're progressing the gens, which realistically can't be undone. If you're slugging and detaching during chase and stuff like that, maybe you get 3 survivors off gens at once. But that 4th survivor is still on one. So no matter what, the gens can't come to a standstill through anything you can do. You can only slow them down, which is why Corrupt/Deadlock is meta. For those still running Ruin/Pop, welcome to the present.
But that's basically what you'll see. 2 or 3 survivors running medkits, even low level ones with mediocre add-ons, and they'll be saving their team a hideous amount of time, to where the gens can't not get done in time. They'll be done with time to spare, as a matter of fact. I was on the fence for the longest time about medkits being the "strongest item in the game" as others have claimed, but now I'm in total agreement. I can see them getting at least a sliver of a nerf, and really that's all they need.
Always, it a full heal

I have not played DBD since 2 weeks ago due to me finding it not very fun anymore. My Last games were just 5 minutes trials as a Killer while as a Survivors it's just been constant Tunneling and camping at 4 and 5 gens left.
Seeing the New chapter, I'm glad quitting this game. I didn't find Holding W fun as a Survivor and Killer and with the new Killer and the new exhaustion perk encouraging not to loop, I bid farewell to DBD.
As a fun seeker, I'll see you guys at VHS Beta.
Have you really quit DBD if your back here on the forums only 2 weeks later?

I really hope the devs dont pay to much attention to Otz and his incredibly biased testing
