Why do you guys wish a killer gets the original Billy addon pass treatment? It's bad enough we only have like 3 killers out of 30 that can even stay on par at high MMR. We already lost core gen defense perks.
MFT literally makes playing m1 a nightmare in itself but every survivor is ok with it. Blight is fine.

This is how BHVR do things. 1 step forward, 10 steps back.
Isn't this like the old suction vault? Remember how hard it used to be to deal with windows?

Was there some shadow buff to survivors repairing gens speed durring this event?
I swear to God, my games now are like 4-6 min EACH match and 5 gens being done. I see a lot of BNP (usually 2-3) per match being used, like what is happening? Whats with the speedrun?
I mean, 3 slowdown perks are helping just a little, but it's not enough, and the chases against mft users are so weird... I'm not even gonna lie, I can't keep up with this gen speed if I'm not playing A or S tier killer. -_-
I've seen some challenges for survivors like "Finish repairing some Summer generators", but I don't think like people doing this for so long, and so aggressive.
Is it because of the challenges? Event? You guys see the same in your killer matches?
It wasn't like that before this event, it's nutz
They're being done extremely fast. I had to put on Corrupt to somehow slow it down.
-
Probably far. It should've been in the game getting the get go honestly!
-
It's very damaging to m1 killers

The point of Nowhere to Hide is to catch people that hide close to generators until the Killer is gone. The point of BBQ is to take the Killer away from the hook and reduce camping by giving them a new, far away target. Nowhere to Hide can't obsolete BBQ because they do different things. Nowhere to Hide is fine. The counter is to actually hide somewhere that isn't behind the first big rock closest to the generator.
Honestly, without Lethal what is the point to bbq? I only use bbq with Lethal on either Nurse, Spirit or Fast Wraith.

i love when the survivor is basically invincible to m1 half way through a fast vault
Yeah I've noticed the distance is insane

Keep in mind I'm playing on ps5. I can play nurse but not in long stretches because of all the ducking down etc. I understand it will be harder in high MMR and I don't mind that at all, but this perk makes it significantly harder to play Doctor or Wraith.
I also play Artist, but still it's just more comfortable playing someone like Wraith. When I was watching Herman, he was constantly getting teabagged on The Game and Garden of Joy while at minimum 2 survivors had MFT. I noticed the survivors that run this perk also try to force the chase by running right up to you.
How is this perk not broken? I'm not saying I want 4k every game. If it was about completely trying to dominate, I'd put on my headphones and play Spirit or use Nurse. When I play, I want to win but understand sometimes you just won't and that's ok. Going against MFT, especially when it's like 3 or 4 in the game, it's just incredibly harder with off meta killers.

make this slot 5 just for totem and it will be perfect, totems are destroyed in most cases in 30 seconds of the match so it no problem and will at least encourage survivors to do something other than repairing generators
I'll definitely run devour every game lol

More than likely

oh boy. Is this buffed wraith 2.0? new players dying at 5 gens.... so therefore wraith over-performing. /shrug.
Pretty much seems like it. I thought I'd never see the day WRAITH got nerfed.

@Ilovezarina5 said:
Yoy dont gain condemn, you can put it in any tv and you also get to shut down two tvs in the process
Well it has to be safe for survivors all the time right?

@fussy said:
I think everyone overreact a bit. It seems to me that this is the case when it will be necessary to play for a month and make conclusions, because in general, I think these are good changes. Only things that requires changes imo:
- survivors need to go to the farther tv again
- better addon pass
- newspaper basekit
- undo watch nerf
Now at least I have a desire to play for her with the announced changes.
Not going to happen. The OG Freddy nerfs prove that. I was never a good sadako but I can only imagine how hurt OnePumpWillie is.
-
It's the only way to win the game
-
@Steakdabait said:
survivors have been complaining about it for a long time, It's just that not common of a perk so you don't see it super often. It's frustrating to lose solely to one perk because the killer got a lucky spawn that's hard to find.
But totems have been LITERALLY right next to gens and out in the open on hills FOREVER! They should be well hidden!

@DudelPuma said:
Nerf the infection and do it like Nemesis does his ability, let's see if he's still played like that :D you can see how many really play him because of the ability, I mean then the ability will still stay the same a dash only the infection is much less strong, I would say he why he is played so much, his infection is way too overbuffed for the ability being so easy to hit (-8 speed is ridiculous!) That's why he likes to be played, makes the bad players ez while he's done ez to play and not the lies "he's fun to play" like the liars said when they said on strechet res "i have more fps and this looks better that's why i'm doing it and not for the unfair advantage" hehe yeah yeah ofc :)))
there are only two possibilities what will happen:
1. dbd gets a matchmaking whereupon the Wesker players who win a lot have to compete against survivor who are good and get hit against the wall a lot, get desperate and resort to Nurse, Blight, Spirit
2. Wekser gets a nerf because most survivor are too bad to counteract it
one of two things will happen, small spoiler: dbd will not get any matchmaking... accordingly prepare for a legitimate nerf because it is just too strong for the average survivor
No...
You got 3 chances per spray bottle. Wesker is fine and I didn't even buy him.

I think it's because it adds the penalty onto the default 10% missed skillcheck penalty, resulting in 14% which people just round up to 15 because it looks nicer
Crazy because OVERCHARGE literally does nothing for me when I use it. Everybody and their mama can hit the skill check just fine lol.
-
Hold up... How is OVERCHARGE taking 15%? It says 4% for missed skill check. Can someone explain that?
-
Imagine being an add-on dependent killer like Doctor... Yikes

I never had a main killer when i was killer, i had some favorites. but i also gave up playing on some killers even when they had a fun concept, but because they are so bad they were not fun at all. If i loose 9/10 matches with a certain killer, im not going to keep playing with it, its not that fun to loose, and you progress very slovley in form of BP for that killer too, so i wound never get to high mmr on those bad killers.
Nothing stops BHVR from buffing and then nerfing the killers again if they were buffed too hard, some killers really need a buff. While i think some stronger killers needs a nerf. I might be remembering wrong, but if i remember correct BHVR said that now they would balance the game and the perks, to get rid of meta perks ect. and they did tweaking for some months and then it seemed that they forgot about it again.
Nerf to Wraith was just nonsense. I'm still mad about that
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
I think its more a case of them being swayed by statistics. They have even outright said Trapper has a good pick rate and kill rate even at high MMR and so they have no intention of changing him.
Yeah that's just absolutely insane lol. We all know trapper has been pretty much the weakest killer in the game for some time.
Or is it Freddy? They did Freddy so dirty!
-
Threads are sent here to die
-
Typical safe killer with broken MOM level perk for survivors.
Trash chapter honestly. There's no real reason to play the new killer. Survivors control his power.
-
@LobbyDodgerLeonidas said:
Yes, got to make sure no killers can compete with sweaty SWFs!
That's pretty much the plan but they'll whine saying not every team is SWF. Let's address how only 3 killers can compete at the top.
Nurse
Blight
Wesker

@ad19970 said:
Lmao this is not a case of nerfing perks just for the sake of nerfing a perk, and then just randomly deciding on which perk to nerf. There is no reason for any killer perk to be nerfed at the moment, I do not see how Jolt or PR would need a nerf in any way.
It's debateable whether Prove Thyself needed a nerf or not, I personally think it didn't. But that doesn't mean perks like Jolt need to be nerfed as well.
It definitely needed a nerf. Gens are too fast
-
Bro.... The promised a twins rework yet found a way to rework sadako first lol

@C3Tooth said:
Losing a match is okay.
I'm perfectly fine with losing given I'm just playing for bp, but let's be real... When you CAN'T CATCH UP NO MATTER WHAT? Come on now. I literally just chased a guy on red forest in a straight line and he took it side to side to strong tile.
-
MFT is broken
-
It's painful. I've been tryna farm forever and nobody will
-
What exactly is the issue with WESKER? He's perfectly balanced and I heard his add-on suck. What's the problem?
-

They shouldn't be allowed to do that it's so unfair when you buy a character for their perks and they nerf the perks as if it's on purpose ._. cough circle of healing
They did that with pretty much every killer since Freddy.
-
Let's be honest... How is it FAIR that you get a permanent boost after getting hit? No conditions, just get hit and you're faster? Come on
-
What happened to the map? It was already pallet heaven.
-
What's wrong with him?
-
@sizzlingmario4 said:
It was buffed in the same patch as the Undying nerf. So a long time ago.
Undying Nerf was bullshit
-
How many times have we seen this same rodeo? I'm tired of it. Any killer that's not trapper tier gets mad threads until they get nuked. Billy, Freddy, nurse, wraith, spirit... I'm tired of it.
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
Wraith is good killer already?
He literally got nerfed because baby survivors were tryna mind game him at unsafe pallets. I stopped playing him because of it.
-
@Witchubtet said:
This is the Torment buff right? I think it’s fine and people should stop complaining about it. PH is just really good at dealing with Survivors base instincts of running to pallets and dancing around them. They just gotta learn to be more mobile and indirect with their movement.
Agreed. His add-on are incredibly bad. He needed this buff badly

Make the perks have a point system to make the tiers actually matter and for there to be real reasons to run weaker perks( what VHS had).
Is the game dead?

@Reinami said:

Do you think this game should be balanced around:
- Top tier players (top 200 players)
- High level players (top 1-2% of players)
- Average players (the majority of players)
- Low level players (bottom 10-20%)
Every other game, especially fighters, balance around pro players... Top 200.
This game is for casuals.
-
I like to play Docktah to farm and trying to spread it out at high MMR is a waste of time. I do better when I focus in on one survivor and get him out IMMEDIATELY!
-
Start with all traps, make it harder to escape traps, traps can't be disarmed, faster set time, if injured trap downs automatically.

The only way permanent tier three goes is if survivors slowly gain back stalk. It blows my mind that we have a killer in game who can actually run out of his power for the rest of the game
Exactly. Myers is a simple M1 killer. All survivors have to do is jump in a locker and negate tombstone piece. It's not that hard.
-
Or let's truly buff weak killers so you don't have to face him so much
-
@Coffeecrashing said:
If we want for killers to be balanced based upon the top 0.01% of the killer players, does this mean we should balance survivors based upon the top 0.01% of survivor players?
Or is this another case of "survivors should be balanced on solo q, where survivors might get teammates that are bad at the game", but "killer's should be balanced based on what the absolutely highest level of killer players are"?
This type of balancing is so annoying. It's definitely the way they balance the game
-
Dude just get over it. Camping is a legit strategy and can easily be stopped by gen rushing. If you're the unfortunate one on the end of the camping I get it, but it is what it is
-
You guys are happy about skins when the game is in such a poor state

You didn't learn the lesson I did when they Nerfed Michael Myers after one week.
Don't buy DBD DLC.
Dude I bought Freddy day 1.
I came back to the game after a long time and bought killers with shards and cells...
Boom... Everything nerfed within 6 months
-
Sounds like it's working as intended. Great perk

@Xernoton said:
We'll see how it turns out. I agree, that all 3 regression perks that got touched are pretty much dead but the medkit and DH nerfs are a big deal. No more third health state in the first chase and no more 5 seconds self-heals will have a big impact.
I do believe BHVR will closesly monitor the kill rates and make adjustments, if necessary. Especially since this has a bigger impact than 6.1.0.
No they're not dude stop dancing around it. Survivors can still hammer gens... Boom... Game over.
