Idk if someone agrees with me, but how can you last more than 10 seconds on a chase against a guy who's literally the Huntress but with explosive throwables and a teleport?
I know that you can get ridd of that thing he shoots you by looking at him, but come on… While you're looking at him he's already getting the power back and can take you down even if you stare at him all the time…
As a suggestion, i'd change a little his power, making he hit when the ball touches you directly, and leave the area effect just to "infect" survivors.
Another option is to make 2 areas, the first closer to where the ball hits, and if the surv touches that one, gets hit. And the second one, a little bigger and further from where the ball hit, that just "infects" them.
This way the killer must be accurate with his shots (and not throwing them randomly as he does now, knowing that it'll be a hit), and also gives the survivors a tiny chance of evading it.
Pretty easy:
his projectile is pretty slow, he needs to hit 3 times in optimal case (so eventually more), he needs prediction and knowledge about the way his shot bounces. I'd say from all projectile killers he's probably in the middle in terms of skill required to play against him.
Most rounds agains people that know how to play against him make you wish you just played huntress, at least me because I played her a lot of more she's stronger for me than him xD

Sometimes if window is "bigger" it's kinda understandable, but with pallets this should NEVER happen.
Well they never fixed it and I don't believe in it, but it's a nice surprise if it happens for a change xD

I just saw it with my own eyes.
My Wesker friend vaulted a pallet, standed still and the surv was still able to vault without getting damaged.
I hope this is one of the things Operation Health will fix.I got a hit like this half an hour ago, difference is that the survivor was 1 meter away xDDD

to be fair I won't be surprised if someone got confused. I've seen the stupid ai redactor to censor names, simple words or outright whole sentences that are normal or you know if you type for example the words sacrifice or dying because yeah we definitely do not use those words in the game all about sacrifice and death. I can see someone confusing the situation and accidentally reporting the stuff said as bad language.
I imagine the support competent enough that they can read the chat without censoring and not missinterpreting this report. I'd be surprised if someone actually got banned for dbd's own censoring system. Not to mention I got insult as... german and he didn't get a ban as far as I know xD

Switch was all I had. I've always been a loyal Nintendo guy and nothing on the other consoles interested me at all at the time.
I see, sadly it's pretty much the other way around on my side. Except splatoon, pokemon and zelda there's nothing that interests me on nintendo consoles, or better it would interest me, if it would cost more than pc-games most of the time xD

I personally don't have a PC. I played 5000 hours on Switch, then cross-progressed to PS5.
Hopefully OP will clarify what they meant as perhaps the post could be viewed differently by different players.
Nothing against you, but how did you play 5k hours on switch? I played a few hours on it and it's absolutely awful, with that I don't even mean the controlls that feel even more horrible than other controllers, but the performance that's super laggy (maybe I just played on a bad patch where it was very bad, but I don't know) xD
Well to get back to the post: yes that would be good, I genuinely didn't know that crossplay works like this and I don't even know who thought about this as a good idea. Of course you'd only want your kind of divice and not all plattform except yours in general, that's way to specific xD

I think OP wants the option just to turn off PC Crossplay. In other words, they want an option that allows Playstation, Switch and XBOX to be able to play together without PC players and unfortunately turning off Crossplay isolates you from all other platforms, not just the one they wish to avoid.
Oh really? Well my awnser was under the assumption that only steam, microsoft and epic are cut (I also thought, on pc it would only cut xbox, playstation and switch. But I guess you're steam-only then too as excample). In that case I see the problem, and yes, it should probably just have toggles or an console only option to choose from what you play with.

I'm sure that there are players who have just come back to play DBD (or new players) and found that they like and want items from the expired Battle Pass. I'm certainly one of them. So, I would like to propose another type of Battle Pass: A Battle Pass that contains items from past Battle Pass. You could make this type of Battle Pass a bit more expensive than a regular battle pass. For example, the regular battle pass would cost 1000 auric cells, but the Battle Pass I'm talking about would cost 1500 auric cells. You could also allow players to customize the items in the pass.
You could also just wait you know? Skins from older battlepasses get added to the shop after a while (don't ask me how long it takes please, but it happens) xD

Based on their stats the escape rate was 45%, which made it much more enjoyable than 1v4 as solo survivor. Then the devs decided to gut survivor classes and add bots which is another massive nerf. Why do the devs want the game to be so easy for killers when survivors are the majority of the playerbase?
And still you can lose 3- gens in it feels like 2 minutes lol xD

Have hackers elevated their game by play bans?
Mhh I'd guess there's a certain length the game you entered has to go, before you can be dead, or you get a punishment? xD

If you ever bring this absolutely terrible mode ever again, I might actually permanently quit the game. Like it is actually awful. I'd rather work than play 2v8, and I hate my job. I outlined the reasons why I hate it so much in a previous post (https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/438347/2v8-continues-to-be-the-worst-gamemode-ever-added-to-dbd#latest) but with 400% incentive and only 1 bot I tried it again. It is still awful. Like absolutely terrible. This is the worst time I ever had playing any video game. This mode is unfixable don't even try. Keep bringing back chaos shuffle, and seasonal events, and even lights out. But please do us all a favour and never touch this absolutely failure of a mode ever again.
Cool then leave, I love this mode and many people I know also, so I don't see a reason to delete it xD

I think the only thing that nemesis needs right now is a slight nerf with his whip, I think his power is perfectly okay but I think the length is a bit much, either decrease the length or make it where it can't go past a pallet
I played survivor against him and I was so annoyed when I was past a thrown down pallet and I still get hit for it and even as a killer (as I am a killer main) I played him and find him really strongHe'd be absolutely trash if he couldn't hit over palettes, not to mention you can crouch behind it and sometime make him break it lol. Also he has to level up and have people infested for him to have his big range, he surely doesn't need a nerf on that xD

Where do you find these survivor sided 2v8 ? Had 18 games since I played this mod and Killers stomped us all
Got chased and tag teamed while all the SEVEN survivors do absolutely nothing beside hiding and crouching
I found survivors using green herb at full health and using the yellow at 0 cage state
Well I played a lot with my girlfriend (probably the same amount of games or near it) and at the start we won really easily, now it gets harder to win. I don't know if we're just unlucky or if it's people getting used to 2vs8, but the genspeed is sometimes really brutal xD
-
I don't use the visual terror radius but if you interessted in the accessibility-options in general:
I use the colorblind filter that is… yellow and something else I forgot. I'm not colorblind, but I like the colorpalette more and as a bonus I see red better. So it's good for me as killermain for scratchmarks, and as survivor for redlight.

It's been pointed out by a few content creators that the addition of 2 bots makes this mode feel more like 2v6, which actually feels a lot better. I can honestly say, I fully agree with this notion and then some.
Look, I know the whole branding word play is 2v8, cause double and double, all that. But if we're being honest here, survivor side is just too broken. It doesnt matter how fast killers get downs, the gens go faster. No combo matters, no strategy matters, the gens just fly too fast unless you get a lucky match where not a single survivor is committing to gens.
But if we nerf the survivor side no one will want to play it. And to be honest, it isnt the individual survivors that need nerfing. Yes, loops are busted and survivor powers are ludicrous, but the main issue is the number of survivors. 8 is just too many. Killers cannot get enough pressure to stop gen progress at that number. So my suggestion is to simply remove two survivors. Make it 2v6. That would help the balance a bit, but honestly it'll probably still be heavily survivor sided, and it'll help the cue times. Not just by lessening the number of players needed, but also by making higher tier survivors feel like their gameplay actually matters in the mode. Survivor players like to feel like they make an impact on the match.
Just my two cents, I know 2v8 has been so thoroughly ingrained in everyone's minds, but I genuinely feel 2v6 would be much better and healthier for the game overall. Will it fix all problems immediately, absolutely not. But it'll make more than a small difference. No the real problem is the cheer amount of palettes that are increadible tight so you can't get the downs fast enough to pressure really (also some of the maps simply have impossible loops to play with half the chars because they are increadible save and way to many).
IF both actually down fast enough or one plays legion and one downs everything insanely fast you win with little to decent (at max) issue.
I don't know what I should think about the herbs, it seems almost too much because of the saveness and amount of the loops, at the same time the effects aren't that insane in a ideal situation.

It's as simple as that… I feel like I'm playing a hide 'n seek game where you don't hide and the Killer knows your location 3/4 of the match.
Some matches are fine but especially when you have a Legion constantly proccing mend and built in aura I don't care it's called "killer instinct" tomato-tamato.
I would love to just have one match where auras just go poof, gone, bye-bye on both sides. Stop punishing players for not being caged yet. Sure there are those that sneak around all game but it also punishes those who are successfully evading the Killers whilst doing gens.
The excuse it takes heat off the others is a lame excuse. So now because of "equality" and being a "team-player" I who is doing gens is forced off gens because the Killer knows my location and is gunning for me. OHH and on top of that… don't mention the times when you have multiple people doing gens. Basically I lead the Killer straight to all my "allies" who perhaps have already been caged once. So if the Killer ignores me and goes after another Survivor who already has one foot in the grave… it's bye-bye.
Wonderful so to counter the roamers who are going to roam regardless we punish those who are productive and participating. Then adding another layer of death essentially make the Survivors who have been successfully evading the Killer work for the Killer. Since I have two options, do gens and hope the Killers are preoccupied or avoid doing gens as to not get my teammates killed which literally promotes one of the issues I believe this mechanic was meant to discourage; The roaming around not participating and doing gens…
Why can't Scout just get reworked to be Tinker or something… Have them focus on pallets. If 8 Survivors is too much for Killers to handle without aura reading mechanics. Then lower it to 6-7 Survivors. With how many bots I'm seeing in game it's practically a 2v6 anyways. Built in aura reading is fine. Maybe Legion in a SWF Killer duo is a bit much. Maybe remove Legion from the roster. He's fun to goof around with but nobody wants the mend shenanigans in 2v8. I love legion and the chase music but I mean at this point you might was well just add plague while your at it.
I'm not a "god" at looping I'm intermediate at best. I just use map awareness and rotate gens. Such as caged Survivors for instance or Scout literally having aura. I do gens and always go out of my way to unhook Survivors and heal them cause I play healer so it's my job pretty much. Yet If I'm having a good game where I've evaded the Killer for longer than others I'm punished for it. Not only am "I" punished but I'm a walking heat missile on my teammates back. I just don't get it. I guess the counter to this is to just get caged once but just seems silly. I don't mind taking one for a teammate and getting hooked/caged but I've tried doing this and the Killer(s) straight up ignored me and went after the injured Survivor lol. So I don't know what else I can do I take the hit giving them some extra time in the chase but almost always they go down shortly after.
Not a big fan of it to put it simply… Love the 2v8 mode which is why I keep playing it despite minor frustrations.
You're on luck then, you don't have to feel like that because it's not a hide'n seek game xD

Currently, in 2v8 matches, the waiting time for killers is excessively long, often reaching up to 30 minutes. This seems to be due to an imbalance in role distribution, as many players queue up to play as killers.
To address this, what if we first gather 10 players for matchmaking and then randomly assign 2 of them as killers? While the gameplay mechanics would differ, similar systems have been implemented in games like Werewolf, so it might be worth experimenting with.
What do you all think?
This system stopped me from playing friday the 13th the game and it would also stop me from playing 2vs8. If I want to play killer I want to play killer, and if I want to play survivor I want to play survivor, I hate being assigened randomly xD

Want to hear what the general consensus is: Is it a pure crutch perk for Killers to avoid using? Is it fine in some builds or specific killers? Fine to have, but not to build or rely on? Something else?
It's a very good perk for endgame-builds, but I'd never use it in normal ones. In most matches you can get 1-2 people in the endgame without using noed, that's probably also the best I could get with noed if they aren't in a really unlucky position. Because of that reason it's just better to use perks to make the actual game easier and maybe even stop the survivors from reaching endgame as a whole.
To the crutchpart: it's probably best to not use it as a beginner, because you'll probably just getting used to it. Of course you can also use noed as a staple choice, but that decreases the perk variety you could use in theorie. (Well I shouldn't talk about that I guess - my staple is bbq on all killers, iron maiden on range killers and before it was shadowborn on blight. Baboozle, brutal strength and lethal are also almost staple xDD)

Civilization 7 was recently released, we can go play it, no need to waste time here
Why did they leave with that amount of crazy build and probably as at least a 3-stack against a p2 dracula?
I don't assume the killer destroyed them too much because no one is dead, also they even had 3 flashlights so he probably didn't even get hooks at all. This picture is just weird because op was obviously on the winning side and everyone left the lobby for no reason.
(Of course nothing I assumed has to be true, and I only know the killer because I used google translate, but it's really weird still)

Currently, it is fairly common for Survivors to bring the "Crow's Eye" Offering, to bring Killers to the map Eyrie of Crows. This map is generally accepted to be very Survivor sided, with unofficial tracking tools like Nightlight marking it as the lowest kill rate map in the entire game.
Now I remember in the past we had a similar issue. The map Garden of Joy is considered very Survivor Sided as well and up until ~1 year ago it was not rare for Survivors to bring a map offering to go there.
However, without reworking the map or reworking map offerings or anything, the usage rate of this offering vastly decreased. And what caused this? Well, with the release of the Unknown a new map, Greenville Square, was added. This map is more evenly balanced than Garden of Joy, with it having a slightly above average kill rate according to Nightlight. But also, this map was on Withered Isle. The same realm as Garden of Joy. So now the map offering has a 50/50 chance of being Garden of Joy or Withered Isle.
I feel like this change would help balance a very strong offering, without having to take away focus from new content.
We could also simply remove it:
The loops are brutal, it's still too big for m1-killers, it hurts to look at because it so bright AND you don't really see scratchmarks because of that, you don't hear footsteps because of the sand, and the hitboxes regarded to some walls and bushes are horrible especially for dash-killers.
I don't see a reason to let it stay, it's just a horrible map all in all. I have to admit it looks cool outside of it hurting my eyes, but that's not reason enough to endure this map xD

I have played this game since 2017 on and off. That's not to comment about my skill, just that I have seen the game change a lot. In early DBD which strove to create a wacky fun experience for all players I supported killer addons, old flashlights, medkits and everything else. But eventually the direction changed to one of balance.
This game is the most balanced it has ever been. So why are killer addons still viable? I mean they seriously nerfed toolboxes, medkits and keys. Sure that's all fine, but why can I throw on addon that boosts my killer power? Even small changes have big impact. Look at made for this with it's 3% increase. So you can't argue that even small boosts in killer power don't have a huge impact. The more power addons are like versing completely different killers. If a killer needs the addon, then why not make it basekit and remove the all addons. There is no reason most killers need a power boost.
At the minimum killers should not get normal blood points. Cut it by half at least to show hey you won, but not really. If you are going to say well remove survivor items as well. Might as well most of them have been nerfed into inconsequence.
Nothing about this post makes sense:
Toolboxes were especially with perks combined really crazy.
Medkits allowed you a insane amount of selfheals and a heal in chase that wasn't too hard to archive.
And keys would let swfs ignore a huge chunk of the main objective.
There's hardly an addon that would be that insane to compare them to those things, most addons are just trash. Most killers have a few good ones and the rest is worthless, except the name is pyramid head then every addon is worthless, even the 2 best don't do anything except giving laughable 2,5 meters of range that reach the survivor even later then the normal max range xDDD

Killer is worse than it’s ever been. Even worse than when the game was in its early years. Killer is basically impossible to play. You’re lucky if you even get one hook on a survivor. Lose a match just feels terrible. Especially when survivors get handheld by bhvr with their op perks. They need to nerf them all. They are way too strong. In fact survivors should have no perks and that would fix the slug meta!

I don't know if you know but a full minute is a good chunk of a game and sometimes its multiples of that. I play both ways and Killer is so easy, it is boring. You can't have a game with 7 Survivors for every 100 Killers but that seems to be your objective.
If you say killer is easy you had the wrong survivors yet, wait a while and see your gens say goodbye in a few minutes.
Also you're able to deactivate crossplay anytime, no one's forcing you to have it activated.

I still get surprised that this isn't talked about as much or I haven't seen many people post about it.
Since the Castlevania update, the maps have gotten clearer and you can literally see the survivor/killer from one point of the map to the other. The fog used to obscure both the killer and survivor and is a complete identity to the game, yet it has been removed since the Castlevania update.
I know they removed it to let survivors see the Castle, but I still don't understand why it hasn't been added back into the game since it's been 6 months since the removal.
Maybe it's nostalgia, but I miss the darker atmosphere and fog that the game had. The game is far too bright for my liking and even with aura reading being in the game — the fog wasn't that much of an issue and only helped obscure spotting people from a distance. Now it's just clear as day, rendering any form of stealth useless unless you're moving around objects to break LOS. There was never a formal announcement on Behavior bringing back the fog and it just gets boring having to break LOS from a killer that's literally on the other side of the map, when the old fog used to act as a buffer anyways.
To be honest I found the fog annoying anyways as killer and survivor. I don't really care if you can see me from a distance as ether of them, I just want a clean picture xD
So I'm happy about it and I hope it never comes back.

Wow, imagine calling his shots fine. You shoot people directly on their body and it misses, but it's "fine." That's your first issue. Another would be the shooting distance. It clearly needs to be longer, because I constantly have perfect shots, but it misses because I get outranged, and this happens every single match. The only reason I keep going for such shots is because you never know whether it's the bad shot hitbox denying you, because it's so consistently inconsistent, or whether you got legit outranged. And you talking about survivors needing to be able to dodge in an open space, just wow.
Dragging over pallets, I'm not a big pusher of, but that would still be as weak or weaker than Pinhead or Houndmaster hitting their powers at loops, and they're not 110%.
Super agreed on the nerf reverts though. It's like a different person took over typing. I'd go as far as giving him all of the stuff you suggested, not just 1 or another. But mostly I just want the instascope back, and fair hitboxes on the shots. I can't help but play him a little, most times I get on, because his gameplay has a golden equation of fun about it, but God is it frustrating to play him. And then people are so gaslight-happy when you talk about giving him anything, it's madness.
I don't know what you do, but if I shoot at a survivor and hit... I hit? Everything else is a miss by pixels and it sucks for me but oh well. His hitboxes ARE good, they are one of the best in the game probably. Only thing that can happen is that the game just denies the hit because of validation, but that's not deathslingers fault.
Also I personally never have a problem with his distance, on open fields it's perfectly fine, and at loops it doesn't matter because of the los break. They only feel inconsistent because his shot needs a moment to fly, if you miss with the initial speer by one pixel the survivor can just run through his entire shot, that way it looks like you hit but it didn't.
Also him dragging people over palettes would make him insanely strong, he can hit you on nearly every palette at some way, and even if not - animation-locks exist in form of dropping the palette so that's instadeath. If he'd be able to drag you through the palette, you'd be dead so quickly without anything you can do.
I think everything could be to crazy, at least instascope and 4,6. The rest could be together as one buff yes.

I hear back and forth debate on this killer "He's one of the best killers" to "He is so bad, his ability sucks!" personally I am just standing in the thin wall between these 2 sides. I think he's a good killer with a poorly designed ability similar to like The Pig, The Trapper (even though I enjoy him) and The Nightmare until recent buff.
Starting with add-ons
like quite a few killers in the game the ultra rares for Deathslinger are toilet paper
Iridescent Coin: This one is able to kind of boost Deathslinger's effectiveness but at the same time it completely defeats the purpose of managing to snipe a survivor with the redeemer as it only grants exposed status effect for close range shots, this should be buffed to where a survivor hit from any range suffers exposed.
Hellshire Iron: Ok what good is being undetectable after you landed a shot on a survivor and are reeling them in?? Should be able to grant undetectable for maybe 30 seconds or so after landing a shot on a survivor.
Next is buffs to the redeemer itself. Main thing I think is a better sight to make aiming easier cause often times feels like the shots are off-center, second should be around a 15 meter range buff, and increase on escape time. I forgot the add-on for this (honey locust? rusted spike?) but the one that makes survivors get injured when breaking free from the spear, that should be made a basekit ability and that has been a issue for me since I started using this killer, his ability doesn't even injure survivors. A new and much needed feature I think is needed is a redesign in the reeling in to where when you say shoot a survivor over a pallet or someone drops a pallet in front of you as you're pulling someone towards you, or maybe shot them at a vault point you should be able to pull survivors over dropped pallets and vault points when reeling them in.
That be the main things I'd like to see, on a side note something I think would be extra neat is redoing him all together where he is now able to swap between both the redeemer gun and like a breakaction shotgun for shooting survivors and injuring or downing them but takes longer to reload and has poor range, it basically be for hitting survivors at closer ranges why the redeemer would be for longer range.
Did you ever play deathslinger? xD
First of all to the coin:
It ONLY gives exposed on snipes, so that's the only thing rewarded and therefore what you wanted, any range would be so op xD
Second:
The shots are really really centered and precise, I shot someone through the killershack window that has planks infront of it a few days ago.
Third:
That range-increase would be WAY too much, it's already hard to escape on open fields, and with objects near him the range doesn't matter anyways because they just break los.
Fourth:
You injure on a chainbreak basekit (if you just press m1 without hitting the survivor or letting the chain break THEN you don't injure, that's the only possible case), there's one addon that increases the time it takes to mend and that's all.
And last:
dragging over palettes - good job (ironic) now he's probably one of the strongest killers in the game.
Dragging over windows - unnecessary, you're already able to reel them in until they touch the window and just hit them.
I don't even say anything to the shotgun.
Just give him his smaller terrorradius back, make his him able to shoot instantly again OR make him 4,6. Reeling speed would be nice too, he's wasting a lot of time with that.

You kind of just made my point, though. Even clown has better audio cues for when a bottle is coming your way. There's the sound when he lobs it, a delay, and then the shatter sound on impact. With dream snares comparatively it's almost like you get the audio cue and the snare is already there. Same thing with Pyramid head. You have a clear, distinct sound when he starts the sword attack, a delay as well as a visual cue for where it will land, and THEN it lands.
Only asking for a tune up for Freddy to match this.
And I said he's not worth it because he doesn't injure and is relatively weak still.

Even as someone who repeatedly called for a Freddy buff I can appreciate the lack of balance here. Freddy shouldn't be in a state where any brand new killer player can stomp out a 4k on the first or second try. It's egregious.
Besides that, there is NO SUFFICIENT AUDIO CUE before a dream snare projectile is launched. It feels like power audio cues are important to BHVR so I'm here to say it's much less clear when Freddy is launching a dream snare than when Huntress is lobbing a hatchet, Pyramid Head is using power, etc.
Freddy feels on track to be the next Skull Merchant (with players instantly DC'ing) if he isn't balanced more in the coming months.
Well I can tell you people actually good at looping and using his counterplay will win against him.
Besides that he's not worth a audio cue, the difference between those killer is that they injure directly, his snares to compare only elevate him slightly above a pig and under clown regarded to chase strength.

I've noticed lately that survivors seem to get really triggered when they can't stalk my Steam profile. I play killer with an anonymous profile and hide names (both survivor and killer) to just focus on the actual gameplay, but apparently this is some kind of cardinal sin?
The amount of salt I get in post-game chat just for having a private profile is wild. No toxic gameplay, no tunneling or camping - just the mere fact that they can't see my profile seems to set people off. And my profile is literally empty anyway, so what exactly are they hoping to find?
To the survivors who get worked up about this: What's the deal? What dark secrets do you think I'm hiding by wanting a bit of privacy? And to other killers - do you get this kind of reaction too, or am I just lucky?
I have two issues in general with anonymous mode (although mostly survivors because I play killer 95% of the time):
First - I want to know against how many hours I played just for me, it really doesn't matter in the end if I know it, but it just interests me.
Second - This mode is super often just used to issult people without any way of getting back at them, it's not even like I'd focus them then, but it's just annoying for me.
For reference: I'm never toxic about people using it really, the first just annoys me but is fine, the second annoys me a lot but I'm also not really toxic there.

Been seeing Survivors being steamrolled all week til weekend, I think of 10 we get to escape against one.
The slow is now way more oppressive, even though it could be dodged, with the right addons most people cant. And if you hit with the Dream Snare, the game is up, you have to be at a pallet to survive and he can fire this every 7 seconds. Revert the Slowdown pls, Freddy is well able to explode pallets now making Dream Snare buff obsolete.
Random Survivors do not understand that Freddy can teleport to them, when they heal and they are dreaming. The little Dream effect is a good start, but they still don't get it. It needs to be way more clear from the effect that Freddy can see you and is able to act on you doing that.
Played him a lot since then:
He's not bad but he's far from overperforming. Against people not dodging and never using clocks he's more or less oppressive, but at that point... who's NOT oppressive if you ignore the entire counterplay of this character?
Teams that actually used what they get as counterplay and looped how you would against freddy and not every generic m1 killer, did escape pretty often because there's only so much you can do with his slowdown. The dreampalettes are completely to ignore because you can see them anyway, the rapture itself is just to weird to use and it costs time to set up for no reason xD

not a bug, that's a feature intended by the devs lol
I mean would surely be a huge buff, even if it's a really specific and weird one xD

Latest patch begs to differ
Still don't see a reason to change gameplay that worked for so long, sometimes it's just not a smart idea to change things xD

So was playing a game of wraith, down to the last person. Classic survivor vaulting pallet again and again while I'm in stealth so i play the game of can i time it perfectly. Turns out that I can to trigger the prompt but instead of breaking the pallet it re-drops the pallet. Its not exactly game breaking and is kinda funny but why….just why
Idk palettes are weird in general, a bill I had on my shoulder saved himself with power struggle on a already dropped palette I accidently touched xD

Survivor gameplay needs to drastically change from Generators, Pallets, Vaults, flashlights, toolboxes, medkits everything needs to change it's been 10 years and gameplay has been the same stale old thing.
Devs gain some courage and make more changes
Good job you found out the genereal gameplay of survivors!
Now tell me why this should change because it works obviously pretty good xD

This is not a post about Freddy being OP I don't think he is. This is a post about BHVR not understanding what a fun gameplay loop is and buffing a killer just to say they did.
Literally the number one thing people hate in this game is speed differentials. People hated it with clown, they hated it with Merchant, it's the one thing about Wesker people don't particularly like which is why it was nerfed so why on earth did BHVR make ANOTHER killer that all they do is slow you down? Trying to loop a Freddy feels awful now because you get hit with a snare that can go through objects and you are basically guaranteed to get hit, you don't even feel like you got outplayed compared to say facing an Unknown that has to do trick shots to get hits half the time with a status effect that can be cleansed mid chase to Freddy which gets a hit off hitting one reasonably easy to hit projectile and it just doesn't seem right. There has to be a way to rework Freddy that actually makes him feel fun to go against because we're back to Forever Freddy levels of dull with the character.
I can't imagine people playing Freddy find it that fun either. Like even in the best case scenario it's just find survivor, snare at a loop and hit them before they get to the pallet and then do it again. I can't imagine there's anything that cool or skill expressive you can do with the character.
He's a really basic m1 killer with slight stealth and chase potential, but that's exactly what I like about him. For me he's the best m1 killer I can play now if I just want play a killer that's basic m1 without crazy mechanics, he's also okay strong AND he feels (outside of holding the button of his teleport) really fast which I like.

Imagine a map offering that does the exact opposite of map offerings. Instead of increasing the chance of being sent to a specific realm, it would decrease the chances of being sent to a specific realm. Do you guys think this would be a good idea for those who don't want to play on a specific map?
Just replace the current once with yours, I'm tired of eyrie of crows, the game or garden of joy offerings. At that point just to that or remove them entirely xD

Yes I agree chases is fun and I do not mind them. However knight being brainless with double taps is not, as well as 2 v 8 where both killers are knight 2.0s.
I'm not a knight, I'm just a crossmap-huntress in 2vs8, which is arguably even worse regarded to double taps. Sometimes I helped my girlfriend in her chase from the other side of the map and we double tapped them accidently, was a lot of fun xD

Like for example if I am playing the twins as victor victor cannot pounce facing upwards on the stairs and someone knows this knowledge and takes advantage of it.
Nope only really gamebreaking bugs like glitching into lockers not being able of being hit anymore is even reportable, and then they probably first try to killswitch it before they do something to the person reported.

I wanna see what kind of games your getting because holy hell match making hates me I could have escaped one match then suddenly get stomped on for the rest of the day no matter what time of day it is.
I didn't say "most of the time" because it sounds so funny: yes there are games that are unrealisticly to win for any side, but it's still much less common than before for me. The biggest problem are the maps for me, the matchmaking itself works good enough.
If you want an hourcount: it changes from 800 to 8k sometimes 14k. I'm roughly at 2,9k at the moment and win more than I lose most days.

Do I get banned if I use the Artifact Cosmetics that randomly spawned in my account?
I am curious because some of those Artifact Cosmetics keep spawning in my account out of nowhere. Glad it gets removed after closing and opening the game again.
I got the rift on max level on accident one time, the support said I should just be happy about it and that's it. I imagine it to be the same here.
