That is the technological stand point. I know all of this and am comfortable with these facts. But my point is more or less on the grand scale of the player base and the consumers. Or, more or less, the equality of outcome. If they are able to produce the PC Update days, even weeks, in advance to when they start porting it to Consoles they should try holding off on releasing details of said content as to avoid the inevitable excitement for said content. There has been some console to pc stuff but not much, and other times announcements have been made and never followed through on. Midtown Madness 3 was supposed to be a pc and Xbox release then got dropped to console only, it died a quick death due to lack of sales.
SC went to Xbox but even though Activision/Blizzard is a huge company the port still took forever, DIII had similar issues. The simple fact is pc users are a bigger base for most games that'll be cross platform so of course they're going to get earlier releases.
You also have to realize that the pc side has been established so long that even with Windows updates stuff is out there for months even years before release. The game developers all have a pretty good idea where Microsoft is going with their os. So pc side it's a lot easier to write code for. If you look at consoles and Nintendo is a perfect example of this like Apple, you don't get too much early access.
This won't really change at least for the next 5-10 years may'be less once prices become so low people can buy either system more easily or both at the same time. If someone ever made a system that was both console and pc like and that was affordable they'd make a killing. Well that and actually have it work unlike some of the ahem past mistakes.
And still. It's indeed only disrespectful to just disregard the Console players. I've played on PC. I know how easy it is for the developers to be able to update games due to the ground they build the updates on being the same ground that they analyse the updates on. And the complications of having to convert key bindings and system-based details is a strenuous process. But as they say, a Mid-Chapter patch is coming. I would have suggested releasing the update. The store, the new characters, all of it. And if there are bugs reported, fix them in the mid-chapter update. Hell, people stopped playing the game over balance during the Howling Grounds event. -

If Dead By Daylight had stuck to PC I imagine that there would be a huge lack of content compared to what funding from all 3 systems have been able to provide. I never said it was the planned date, I said that was the end of the 3 weeks estimate window time frame. Since BHVR knew Sony might take longer they added the 3 extra week just in case instead of the standar 1-2 weeks. Now since July 3rd is the next Sony update day schedule wise that'd make it pretty accurate estimation on their part.
If it comes out afterwards than that date then everyone can rightfully complain about it, but unless and until that happens people need to stop complaining about it with the umpteenth millionth thread. I mean why not go back to the favorite bashing method on ehre which is killer mains and survivor mains?

The point of having those perks would then be undone my dear. A Wraith won't exactly walk up to you whilst uncloaked. At 2 weeks would be June 26th and it came out yesterday for Xbox, at 3 weeks it'd be July 3rd. Since this would still be before double blood points weekend it still works and July 3rd is the next Sony update day. So they planned accordingly and you're getting mad at them for the schedule being pretty accurate.
You complain they're not keeping you updated but if they kept posting the same thing every day that MS and Sony said it was still in certification you'd whine and ######### even more saying they were hiding something. I mean good grief quit blaming it on them based upon past things. This patch was different and had a lot more stuff going on. Also quit trying to compare them to the really big game developers with tons of employees and money.
As someone else has pointed out Warframe is still in certification and they're a whole lot bigger. The whole well they should've ignored ptb and sent it, well then you'd have a super buggy ass game and then you'd whine and ######### even more.
The biggest fallacies are saying well MS has it done so it's obviously BHVR's fault Sony isn't done. Well did it ever occur that Sony and MS are not only to different companies but also have different certification processes? That the code might gasp be different and that gasp those Q&A departments might be doing other certs at the same time for other companies?
While BHVR might've had some issues as they discussed and posted about, but it might also be completely out of their hands and if it comes by July 3rd then guess what it's still within the estimated 2-3 week timeframe they gave. Yes it's frustrating but all the constant non stop spamming of whine threads makes you all look like a bunch of entitled, petulant whiny children..
NOTE: Yes that last part was harsh but it's meant to be to get the point across. They haven't lied, they haven't hid anything and when they've gotten something new to add they've posted about it. The next patch should be smoother now that the store update is done since that was the biggest change alone with Shrine being moved.
Lastly when PS4 does get it hopefully they'll compensate all console users an appropriate amount of iridescent shards for the wait.

I think this is just a race thing. Honestly I picked up Claudette when I started because she looked fairly normal. Then I realised on Friday the 13th the Game I had more fun as Vanessa. And now it's come to a point where I think I only have fun as black characters... Or, oddly, I like the clothing options that are given to them. And it's not a sexual thing either. If it was a black male... It'd be a different story though. Actually, I want a black character. But not the jock type that's always present in media... Like, look at games, shows... There always tends to be a black athletic character... Why can't we have a black Dwight? Not all nerds are Dwhite.

I just font like Moris in general. They take you out of the game if you're unlucky enough to be the victim of one, especially at the beginning of the game.
Alsoooooo. If they are going to be introducing Moris as a base part of the Killer's kit make it a reward for something. Like... Downing a survivor at the exit gates. That would be fun. Because the survivor's worked up they nearly got out, but then stab! Or have it be available on survivors who would be sacrificed if put on the hook. It saves time for the killer but reduces the blood point gain. Hell, with this concept you could have the Mememto Mori Offerings give you an increase to bloodpoint gain when using a Mori, especially if the Mori is already going to be a part of the base kit. -

The Entity has given her the ability to change herself. She removes the bandages covering her face, transforming herself into one of the survivors. The camera is set to third person at all times and she is able to move, crouch and generally navigate like a survivor when not disguised. However, when disguised she is able to hit survivors and pull them off of interactions like repairing, cleansing, etcetera. But if she stands too close the heartbeat will play. When mimicking a survivor her movement speed drops to 90%, her stand movement speed being 115%. She is able to vault over pallets unlike other killers and crouch like survivors. Instead of kicking gens she can "Sabotage" them. She kneels down and uses the repair animation during this action which rapidly brings down the Generator's progress by 25% for every 4/5 seconds the action is channelled. Cancelling at any time will instead produce the normal receding effects and this action can be done whilst survivors are working on the very same generator... But it will pause their progress and begin reducing the progress of the generator. -

Variety would be nice. I started using Object of Obsession and I've had a blast, having to sneak and carefully position myself to be hidden from the killer whilst I spied on him. But I say that if it doesn't take anything from the Killers, don't change it. And SC was one of those things. SB had it coming, given it could literally take away a Killer's ability to ambush.

My dude, my dudette, my fellow fog walker. The community shall bury this deep in our minds and bring up this spark to light up an even bigger flame as more content is brought out.
Though this was an incredibly massive update so... Unless they add something ridiculously stupid (Pay to swing, god that'd be a nightmare) I don't think a situation like this will happen again. -
Just don't change Self Care. It's wonderful because it allows you to go into a match without relying on other survivors for help. Hell, I tend to get screwed over by others more... So being able to reliably heal is the one thing I'm comfortable with. I don't like the exhaustion perks, simply due to my more stealthy preference. I'm very confused as to why it's being changed so drastically though... Self Care has always been good. But in a balanced way. The fifty percent speed feels like a slog some times... And Botany only makes it a little better.

I'm... Rank 14. The highest I got to was Rank 8 only a few weeks after first getting the game... But there is only one second chance perk I use: Self Care. Because, again, you don't need to rely on the three others on your team. But balancing will always seem to focus on these high ranked SWF groups, rather than the minority like me who focus on gens, don't use DS and aren't a part of these flashlight squads.

If Killers complain about Survivor Items I often press them on Killer Add-ons, some able to end the chase immediately by downing the survivor in one hit, which I am not a fan of. Because the chase is fun, being able to run from the killer is fun. Being wacked onto the floor by a hatchet is not fun. At least not for those on the receiving end... But, ask yourself this. How many Killer buffs will it take before survivors feel underpowered? Like they have no chance at survival? Then it will turn into "Buff Survivors", then "Survivors are too OP". I'm a solo survivor, always have been and always will be. It pains me to see perks that allow me to play this way suddenly get nerfed. But at the end of the day I'll find myself forced to work with others. Despite the fact that I always find myself being turned on by fellow survivors who run to me when the Killer is on them...

My two pennies: Sprint Burst's exhaustion timer should be tripled if sprinting, doubled if walking, halved if crouching. It'd force survivors who use the perk to consider Urban Evasion, forcing them to have only two slots left. This is just an idea. Balanced Landing could work similarly. Hell, I rarely find use in Balanced Landing. I'm a Console user so I haven't experienced the buff to it yet. Sometimes I keep Balanced Landing at Tier II just because I don't want to be suddenly unable to land safely because I jumped off a small bump.

I like playing the game. I think it's the players rather than the perks. (Decisive Strike can go away for a moment). But I look at the perks and see that Survivor perks are sometimes directly countering Killer perks. Lightweight with whateveryoucallitbutitisgettingareworksookay, then you have Hangman's Trick for Saboteur... I honestly wish more perks were built like this, so that survivors could counter killers, so forth and so forth. -

Still laughing at the complaint of this whole concept of an entire generation expecting everything now. Even though I don't mind waiting it's simply a want for the equality of outcome. We watch as PC players play the content that we deserve to have just as rightfully. And just as quickly as other platforms.
But this is an issue with gaming. With them developing and building their games for PC. Dead By Daylight most likely would not have made it to PS4 if it hadn't been the success of the game on PC. So should we honestly expect them to care about Console equally to PC? -

PC Players will get the PTB. They'd have been the ones to test the update for the Console players. And why hold the PC Players up due to the fact we don't play on the same console?You were the one who said good things come to those who wait and we should learn patience.
