They only asked for permission to post it. (Which afaik, isn't the normal, usually you just link the person)
Maybe they wanna see the general public reaction to it 🤷♂️
Thats what I think too ! Who knows : 0

Corrupt intervention / Discordance.
Prayer beads and speed phase.
Yummy.
-
Yeah it has been lowered with the previous Hotfix.
What you got to do for now is as soon you enter the trial, adjust sensitivity to 95%, then re up it to 100%.
It might work. (even if it's still too slow)

I've been listening to this a lot!! To say the least... I may have a problem.
I was shaking my head while doing groovy shamisen lines for the killer pov, I see no problem here ! : 'D

Thank you for the bump mate ! Would be fun to see devs reaction to it !

Ok so it has nothing with them just wiggling when they run to offset auto aim? I noticed it only happens when I face survivors who do this weird action. Honestly I have auto aim turned off on PC so I don't have much experience with it anyways.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/720358#Comment_720358
Dont see a point in that if I'm literally behind them, but it could be why.
When I play survivor, I do that to stress out the killer and make him think I'll do a 360, a lot of beginner killers fall for it as they anticipate too much ahead. That results in a whiff and allows to reach a safe spot.

I dont play a lot of killer on ps4 instead I play on pc, but recently I leveled my killers on ps4 and I noticed survivors doing some weird auto aim juke
It's like they quickly wiggle when running. I'm not even sure how to explain it or even what I'm looking up for it to counter it.
Yes, false hits happen a lot on ps4. Even when reaching the survivors, the auto aimm will make you hit air... Be patient and don't lunge to much !

I like it, though it feels a little too intense. If toned down just a smidgen, it would be perfect. Also, maybe tone down the hard piano notes, let the other strings shine through more!
Still, this sounds really sweet! Can't wait to see what you do next!
Oooh that was a dilemma you have no idea... There are so much instruments I hadnt place for everyone haha.
Actually the "piano" is a Koto coupled with a Shamisen, 2 iconic trad jap instruments... I love strings so much in a sense I agree with you, but I had to make the Yamaoka s identity really strong so thats why I decided to put them straight in front...
Ill maybe do another version later, I take your advice in consideration : D thank you mate !
-
Yeah... I play a lot of killer and those crazy drums are sometimes more of an handicap haha.
I can imagine 4 survivors spinning around just to do some dance moves ! Glad you enjoyed it ! Will do more for sure !
-
Yes I agree with you it's the worst.
On ps4 the sensitivy is now 50 % by default.
When you join a queue as survivors there s 5o % chance you have to reboot the game cause it freezes and dont look for lobby.
Each trial I played there is at least 1DC. All of them.
Endless loading screen is back.
The dailies are ######### but thats not of a big deal.
The real issue is to have to restart the game 3 times each 15 min.
Thats the worst patch they made.

For a killer it could be Mr.X.
Could also work with Jill Valentine / Nemesis.
What I imagine as Mr.X power is he s becoming stronger when gens are done. Like he s kind of mutating as survivors get close to the escape.
Base 115 mvs
16M terror radius - footsteps sound heard at a 24M distance.
Passive power : Killing machine - Each time a generator is completed, Mr X gains +2 % movement speed and +5 % action speed to all other actions(vaulting, kicking gens and pallets, basic attack recovery etc..). For each survivor sacrificed, X benefits a -5M terror radius.
Active power : When in first form, X can activate super sense. Super sense allows to see the auras of any survivors performing any action in a 32m radius (healing, cleansing totems, repairing gens..).
When the doors are powered, Mr.X evolves into super Tyrant and gains the ability to perform a powerful attack that will put any survivor in the dying state (60sec CD).
Perks :
Hope breaker - Your primary role is to destroy any form of life, and to avoid them to flee at any cost. Each time a survivor is injured, you can crush a gen/door/window and make it impossible to be used for 10-20-30 sec. 60 sec CD.
Hex : Tyrant force - Umbrella has created you as the ultimate form of life. You gain a token for each survivor hooked. Each tokens grants you a +2 % movement speed. Max 5 tokens.
Compressed mind - Your presence is tiring apart survivors. When chasing someone, the survivor suffer from the status blindness. If a survivor is in your terror radius for 30/25/20sec, the survivor is exposed for 5/10/15sec.
Rough, but you get the idea ^^
-
When everyone got a chance.
I dont tunnel or use noed cause I dont need it and dont care if people are escaping actually.
I play both sides so I know what it feels like to get downed and moried quick, that kind of things id what I qualify not fair, since you're not able to play the game and have kind of an experience.
-
I prefer when its played fair and everyone got a chance in the trial.

5min for R1 killer

Yeah let's pretend that every killer has the same possibilities to apply pressure.
A Hillbilly without Ruin at a huge map like Temple Of Purgation will exactly have the same chances of winning against 4 rank 1 survivors as a Clown without Ruin at Temple Of Purgation.
If the Hillbilly player gets better results it's because the Clown player doesn't know how to apply pressure by your logic.
Every killer are different. Following your example, that same clown might do better on "the game" than this poor crack billy.
You shouldnt expect to win every match, thats my only point.
-
Ruin is like noed, to help new killers.
If you don't know how to apply pressure, or if you did a bad game, just deal with it and improve yourself.
-
Sad story.
Thank you guys.
-
A lot of dc aswell
-
Works pretty well with Legion aswell ! Just love it.

There are also fantom chainsaws, where, despite the fact that the chainsaw should've downed the survivor, it just goes through him and nothing happens, allowing the survivor to reach a loop in that way. So hitboxes can be BS for both sides.
This.
-
Dwight is in range ! And the Jane has been splattered on a pallet. Classical I'd say. Praise the hitbox god.

Its called curve.
-
10 min waiting time at R1 on ps4 as killer.
1 min for survivor at green ranks.
I made my choice.

Probably won't happen cause if they did that then low rank/new players will most likely get bullied by higher rank players again :(
From a company perspective, better keep the majority of cash making players aka survivors ;]
-
Pretty sure the playerbase will drop and we'll see the old matchmaking back in less than 2 weeks.
Its not that hard honestly. Debuff based on a % for all actions calculated by the rank difference, and limit the perks to tier 1. That kind of stuff.
-
Depends on what is your playstyle.
Personally there are 2 builds working pretty well.
Ultimate slowdown : Ruin / Thana / Dying light / Bbq (if you want points) or Nurses calling to keep a track on healing survivors.
Legion Machine : Enduring / Spirit fury / Ruin / Bbq or Save the best for last. It works pretty well combined with the ultra rare pallet breaker addon, but be aware you'll see all "auras" while in Frenzy since your heartbeat covers the whole map. So you have to kind of feel the distance, and assume if it is or not a good decision to chain feral frenzy.
Legion jumper : Fire up / Bamboozle / Ruin / Enduring or BBq
For addons, go for the "time reducing for power usage" or self heal action to add some slow down. Basically the rest is thrash.

If ranks were just an input to say you play a lot, this guy wouldn't be making his complaint. Obviously they mean something, or it wouldn't bother him that he and his friends are going against higher ranks.
You play a game to have an experience and have fun.
The old matchmaking was bad. But the new one is not better.
Bhvr should just add a debuff to higher ranks of a squad, just like in Dark souls.
-
@MisterCremaster said:
If you want it to be a casual party game, I suggest you and your friends play the Custom Mode.
You are antipathic.
Dbd is a casual game, even if there are "ranks" that are just an input to prove you play a lot.

You can adjust your sensitivity in settings. Have you tried that?
You don't say ? The hotfix just includes a -50 sensitivity as a native bug.

Yeah. Happened to me after a game, infinite loading, I had to reboot the game.

Once again: How else would you have it? Should a bunch of high-rank players get matched vs. a low-rank killer because they grouped with their newbie friend? It's less fair to the killer, because he has no choice in the matter, and I suspect a low-rank killer rather not be bullied by a high-rank survivor group that is way out of his league.
The survivors effectively control the matchmaking, and this change ensures that they can predict -- based on whoever has the highest rank -- what the killer's ballpark rank is. The lower-rank player is making a conscious decision to accept this challenge because he is queuing with his high-rank friends. The burden should be on the group with the power to choose, which in this case is the survivors.
The only other equitable solution I can think of is a SWF rank range restriction (i.e. you can only group with players +/- some degree adjacent to your own rank), and that would make everyone even angrier. What would you do to solve this problem, while also not forcing someone with no choice to put up with being bullied by a group way out of their range?
My solution would be to keep facing a killer of the average rank.
But.
Add a debuff to higher ranks mate.
Just like in dark souls. When you summon a friend that has a highest level than you, that guy gets a debuff on his stats, based on the lower one.
That could be a debuff on gen repair, or the non ability to bring items, or having perks capped to tier 1, for example.
But no, you guys just claim this change is good. It's not.
-
Any killer that claims this change is good is delusional.
This guy in the OP just wants to play with friends.
Guess you gonna have to find another game or create another account buddy !

So interesting how survivors can have so many second chances from perks that cover their failures, but entity forbid the killers have one so powerful and completely counterable.
Face it, the reason you don't like NOED is because it cock-blocks you from the exit, just like Adrenhiline cock-blocks the killer.
They're mechanics might be different, but they have the same emotional effect on their opponents.
Getting hit by a bad killer using noed is more painful.

Moris are an easy game card.
Better delete it from the game if you ask me.
