I've already explained this in my post above. As usual, you choose to ignore it and cry "BUT BBQ!" So why should I bother conversing with you any further? There is no point. You continue to prove all you're going to do is ignore what anyone says and cry "BUT BBQ!" Want BBQ? Play killer.

That’s exactly what I wanted you to say “want bbq play killer”. GUESS WHAT!? You can’t. Because killer has so much better point game everyone is playing as them!

Calm down. What are you talking about?

There are 4 ways to get tokens.

    1) unhook, the easiest

    2) take a hit while killer carries survivor. Second easiest.

    3) take a hit near downed or unhooked survivor. This one is harder, since it has know risk

    4) while killer is in Chase with you and one other survivor, take a hit. This one is moderately difficult, since killer quickly loses Chase on survivor. Not impossible. Just not guaranteed

What is so hard about that?

let’s address 1) last. 2) Not always possible, sometimes they ignore you, most killers can get past you. If you block hook, they hook and you’re their next very easy target. Also, it’s bugged 3) They all have risk. This one is both bugged and suicidal. 4) Bugged. This one NEVER works. Other ones do occasionally, this one never works. 1) This would mean BBQ is acquired, thus its easier to get stacks. Not to mention 3 people competing for unhook.

    1) lolwut?
    2) all killer have 4.0 speed when cariying, (except for agitation perk), same as survivor. If they get past you, it's your fault. Wait on hook prompt and they cannot hook until they hit you. Body blocking.
    3) don't want risk - don't play survivor.
    4) it works for me. It's tricky. And you should not really try it. But when is open exit, and you take hit for someone...

If you have problem with "bugged" stacks, all for fix, not for freaking buff. Or just admit bring entitled.

BBQ has its own risk. You give away hook, sure is almost always not shown, making it as useful as wgfl, you still can get lopped for whole match, etc. Wgfl is much easier to get stacks. When I farm, I use survivor. It's much simpler.

You’re still failing to address how detrimental it is to doing gens, or that people compete.

Those are aggressive insults? Bad isn’t one, it’s a state of affinity or skill. How long you chase is a question, and “if you’re good” is basically the same as the “unless you’re bad”

Since I seen a lot of fog travelers who wanted to buff WGLF, I wanted to give my 2 cents on it and hopefully you'll agree!

WHY IS WGLF WEAK COMPARED TO BBQ?

The main reason why WGLF is weak is because the requirement to gain a stack isn't the survivors objective and it's not reliable!

On the other hand, BBQ gives you stacks for rewarding the killer for DOING THEIR OBJECTIVE instead of not going out of your way to do something risky such as let's say "Hooking a survivor in the basement to gain a stack".

So here are my two suggestions on how we can buff WGLF while being balanced:

WGLF: (More Ways to Get Stacks)
Your few friends deserve the best protection. Each time you rescue or take a hit to protect a Survivor, repair a generator, stun the killer with a pallet, gain 20 % stackable bonus to all Bloodpoint gains up to a maximum of 60/80/100 %.The Bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-trial.

WGLF: (A Warning if The Killer is Coming)

Your few friends deserve the best protection. Each time you rescue or take a hit to protect a Survivor, gain 25 % stackable bonus to all Bloodpoint gains up to a maximum of 50/75/100 %. When you perform hook rescue, after 3 seconds, receive a notification if the killer is coming to you.

The Bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-trial.

The notification will warn you if the killer is coming by looking at how fast the distance between you and the killer is getting smaller! If the distance between you and the killer is getting small real fast then the notification will go off after 3 seconds but it wouldn't if the distance between you and killer gets bigger or it's inconsistent!

Thoughts, opinions? Leave your civil feedback below! :)

Sorry for not making your easy game more rewarding.

    That statement doesn’t make sense.

How doesn't it make any sense? The survivors already get rewarded with easy pips and easy pallet loops, why give them a reward for being dicks?

Giving more ways to get tokens to discourage farming = rewarding dicks?

Also, if you somehow didn’t notice, there’s way to many killers in matchmaking right now. Yet none of them are playing spirit. Care to explain why they are playing killer if it’s not for the new one? Oh right, for points.

How long does it take you to chase?! It takes 24 seconds for both to heal, not counting running away or back, or whether they self care or not. Also, I’ve hit 3 and still hooked.

First off, stop rrying to aggressively insult me it is irrelevant to the conversation. Btw who said I was the killer ? Bc a survivor can't see an exploit when it sees one ? Secondly, 24s to heal (maybe without perks or healing kits) when you have 3 target is not a lot. Finaly, please do send videos of those aweful survivors. xD

Dude, you can't argue with that guy. If you don't agree with him he insults you. Tokens on WGLF aren't difficult to get, any halfway decent survivor knows that. The problem that many survivors have with WGLF is that it ONLY gives BPs as an effect. Which I think is by design, since survivors are the power role in the game devs are making them choose between a perk that impacts the game or a perk that gives them bonus BP. Survivors don't like that. Which part of me understands but the other part of me also understands needing to make a choice; game impactful perk or a perk to help me farm.

To push their point they compare it to BBQ, which they shouldn't because one is a survivor perk (and needs to be balanced on the fact that it's one perk slot out of a total of 16 survivor perks) and one is a killer perk (which needs to be balanced on the fact that 1 person would need to dedicate 25% of all available killer perk slots on it). Logic aside, this is where we are.

Can you compare butter murmur and dark sense? Yes, yes you can. You also can’t dictate what people compare

I'm wondering how survivors get mad at face-camping (don't get me wrong it's a cheap exploit) but think it's okay to bodyblock. Here's why bodyblocking is worst; face camping can be resolved by unhooking from the sides whilst bodyblocking completly prevent hooking survivors. More than that, it takes advantage of in-game mechanic flaws and has no counter. Can the devs play a match vs ppl doing that ? Like when they wouldn't nerf the flashlights, took 1 match vs 4 survivors using it to make them nerf it. I have nothing against a loss fair and square but it feels as I climb ranks, it's the only "tactic" high rank use. Even Neji is jalous of that perfect defense...

Because you can hit bodyblockers. You can’t move a killer. Dumb question

I like the idea ! I was thinking about a cooldown too. My idea - give it higher cd - 2 min or 5 min I don't care AND the cooldown resets down to 5-10 seconds the moment the person who got hooked and proc-ed the BBQ is unhooked so it is impossible to chain hook-bbq while the initial person haven't been unhooked yet. Also it will give some breath to the remaining survovors when someone dies or just kill himself on the hook - that won't reset the cd. Also they should def make it not working on survivors in dying state - there is a perk for that.
My other idea for BBQ and for the perks in general is to start limiting perks on different killers - at one point it will be impossible to design new perks without having troubles to balance them on every possible killer. It is just impossible. BBQ and fast moving killers is just an example

Just make billy’s Charge slower after killers as a whole are more balanced

Yes, this is a rant, but a right one.

    Well don’t we feel entitled.

Yeah, entitled to gain the free escape, while the killer wrecked your team, and you deserve to lose.

Rancor is exactly what the killer hatch would be. It’s almost gueenteed, but not quite. Same with normal hatch.

While Rancor is along the same lines, the killer has to use a perk slot for it, whereas the hatch is a built-in mechanic. There's no necessity to grind bloodpoints on a character for a teachable or use shards on the shrine on the off-chance it shows up. The obsession also gains the slight advantage of being able to see your aura and gaining the knowledge of if you're coming for them or not. I see where you're coming from but if Rancor was built into the base of the game and the survivor wasn't given any advantages then I think it would be more comparable.

And if it would allow the killer to instant down and mori any survivor, not only the obsession.

The reason this doesn’t exist is due to how personal it would feel... and survivor kinda needs to be 3x more appealing.

    If it gets WGLF buffed!

Sure, let's buff WGLF to 200% or even 300%. I'll grab the popcorn and enjoy the show.

I’m talking ways to get tokens my dude... everyone knows buffing the raw number is crazy

There are more ways to get WGLF tokens than BBQ tokens.

BBQ is still easier. Protection is still bugged. Unhooking can still be eliminated by camping, and still means that BBQ is easier as an unhook.... requires a hook

  • Rancor doesn’t have any bugs, thus isn’t broken. GET REKT

But those things could save you unexpectedly. Imagine you rush for the window and the killer sees that and tries to hit you. But then you enter the locker and dodge the hit.

    That's a win!

that has happened 0 times my dude, they hear that locker noise and go for the locker.

    Mid chase, hit missed.

That’s actually happened, only I was far enough away where I had a clean vault, but got killed because of that bullshit. Screw that damn gas station on autohaven

  • F13 has em. And didn’t start with em either. Successfully proved that DbD has no reason not to have them, bye

  • Buff WGLF and survivors as a whole so if survivor goes a full term match, they should (with WGLF) make just as much as a killer with BBQ. Then add your idea on top of this.

If you think it's not good - don't take it.

Why should they but already good perk??

You compare it to BBQ? Well, you can't. It's stronger because it's killer perk.

Want it buffet? First but all killer perks.

So far, the most broken perks are for survivors, so why don't you solve that first?

    @Sarief

I'm not comparing the power of the two perks, I'm comparing how one perk will get more tokens than the other perk. I could careless of BBQ gave everyone the exposed status effect or something when you hook a survivor, I just want more ways to get stacks on WGLF! Seriously, a BP bonus doesn't make a survivor any stronger and adding more ways to get tokens won't hurt! :)

And make farming less frequent..... OH MY GOD! Is that why they don’t want it!?

WGLF should only award a stack if you perform a safe hook rescue so survivors don't swarm the hook lol.

It should have more ways, or less tokens needed, AND DEFINITLY fix how buggy and useless protection is

Are the glasses that correct color blindness really expensive or something? Or hard to come by?

USD $300 to $600 for a barely noticeable to zero effect.

D A R N. Wait, what color is my font to you? (That’s a dumb question. But for me it’s bright solid green, which if you can’t see it, you wouldn’t know what it looks like so.... again; stupid question)

I'd love to know why with all those players i literally can't find a single match as killer...

Double BP weekend so 50,000 of those players are playing as killer. ;)

Maybe If survivor BP gain wasn’t so stupidly low in comparison

It's because survivors aren't playing to show those mean killers not to be mean to them.

Money equality is oppression y’know! Killers are what’s right, keeping the wage gap!

If a survivor escapes, they keep their items, even if they didn't bring anything they can take other's items or find them in chests. Killers are forced to buy addons, so it makes sense that they receive more, they aren't getting free addons.

Then buff killers too. Your refute is butt.

  • Ultra rare should be added back. For new stuff, make it devotion rewards.

  • Dedicated survivors ain’t gonna fix there being too many killers and too little survivors buddy

Other ham buff it so it reduces sounds made with injured by 100% like Tier 3 Iron Will it doesn’t need anything. It’s a challenge perk that isn’t supposed to be rewarding at all really.

And DS was MEANT to be get out of jail card. Doesn’t matter what it’s meant to be. If the original concept is messed up, or useless it needs change. You can already make the game harder by bribing no perks. It’s inclusion is stupid. It needs a buff (no mither)
