  • I'm keeping my expectations low and say that it'll probably just be a boring charm...

  • This might be an unpopular opinion, but i'd rather have longer que times then unbalanced matchmaking. That way, I can at least do other stuff while i'm waiting for a lobby.

There is two chainsaw killers sharing the same add-ons.

I'm aware of that, and it does bother me just so you know. They could have at least given bubba a completely different set of addons...

  • I feel like everyone is completely overreacting to this. They say it would break the lore but i'm pretty sure licenced characters aren't canon to the lore at all, unless one of the devs stated otherwise and i just havn't noticed it.

I don't mind having pennywise as a killer, but it would bother me a little because we already have a clown killer, so it would be weird to have two clown killers.

  • I'd love to see literally any of Ace's perks get a complete rework, they're all just so useless... (except maybe AITH). I'd also like to see a change to no mither, you definitely don't get enough of a reward for putting yourself at so much risk with that perk.

Good thing WGLF isn't easy to use. Being able to get unhooks is never a guarantee, and is why Deliverance is generally considered mediocre. So you say aura perks should have a drawback, so you really think Alert needs a nerf? As if the oblivious status effect wasn't enough lol

the introduction of the oblivious and undetectable status effect baisically killed all survivor perks that read the killer's aura, besides kindred...

I hope it's something altruism related.

Basically Botney without the Efficiency bonus. Though that may make Botney rather irrelevant if that is the case.

Personally, I hope it's something that can benefit both the player and the teammate (but mostly the player themself) like a temporary haste when you get a unhook or prot hit.

  • they should change the buff it gives you. I think a 7% haste that lasts until the exit gates are powered would be nice.

  • not bad, but it doesn't change how easily it can be completely countered

  • the problem with survivors is that almost half your points is dependant on weather you survive or not. instead of basing your survival points on weather you surviive or not, it should be based on how long you've survived in the trial. not only that but i think, successfully stealthing/hiding from the killer for a long period of time should award survival points instead of punishing the survivor for not interacting with the killer. (and escaping a chase awards survival points instead of boldness)

  • gosh, i really miss the days where i would watch streamers like 72hrs just 360 killers all day. those were good times...

now pepole treat killers like they're some kind of endangered species that need to be protected from the predator survivors...

  • They made a texture overlay of the plague vomit for every cosmetic so i don't see why can't see why they can't do the same with prestige blood.

  • I would gladly give up my second chance perks if i knew for sure that the killer wouldn't tunnel or camp me.

  • Might be a bit of a controversial opinion, but I think the killer should be straight up kicked out of the lobby if their ping goes above a certain amount no matter what killer they've picked. It would easily fix the whole VPN killer issue.

I can confirm that they are eligible to appear on the shrine, they just haven't popped up yet due to chance. There's a lot of perks in the game so the odds of any given perk showing up in the shrine is fairly low.

I get that the chances are low, but it's been months and not a single perk from stranger things or past that has appeared? You have to admit, that's a least a little weird...

  • Survivor - Decisive strike. I don't care if it's toxic or cheap, if a killer tunnels me off the hook, i'm not just gonna let that happen and do nothing about it...

Killer - BB&C. Unlike WGLF, you're baisically guaranteed double bp every single match and the aura reading it gives is extremely powerful, especially for finding that last survivor to ensure the 4k without slugging.

  • Now that ruin is reworked and cleansing hex totems isn't absolutely nessasery to progress the trial as a survivor anymore (unless the hex is devour hope), I'm not against this idea as long as the speed debuff doesn't stack with thrill of the hunt.

  • Personally, I'd rather have more original characters and a lot less licenced charcters. But I'm keeping my expectations low, I predict that we're just gonna get another bonus bloodpoint event.

  • It's seems that no matter what anyone says, forum killers will always find any reason to try acting like they're the victims.

Que times take 30 minutes? The survivors must have drove the killers away

Got bodyblocked in the basement for 20 minutes? The survivor must have annoyed the killer

Got hit from 10 feet away from the killer? Must be the survivor's connection

The Entity forbid that killer is somehow the one to blame for anything bad happening...

  • I don't think Deathslinger needs 115% speed. I think he just needs 3 simple changes:

increase the range of his shot to 20 metres (from 18).

suffer almost no stun time for when an injured survivor breaks from the chain, or increase the reeling power when reeling in an injured survivor.

make it so that other survivors cannot bodyblock the chain when reeling in a speared survivor.

  • I'm not that intrested in any of the new perks. For the people sounds intresting but it's a bit too altruistic for me. I'm more intrested in using the new saboteure, killers are gonna hate me more then ever with this new change lol.

  • I agree, even though the devs don't usually make the wisest choices for teh game, I'm looking forward to seeing most of these changes in game sinse they sound pretty decent in writing.

My hope is that sabo doesn't take more than 3 seconds otherwise it's just another nerf.

  • Ace perks rework:

Open handed - Each time your aura is revealed to the killer, the killer's aura is revealed to you for 5 seconds.

Up the ante - For each fully repaired generator, vaulting speed is increased by 5% (up to a maximum of 25%)

    David perk reworks:

WGLF - (added to it's current use) each time you unhook or take a hit for a survivor, you and the other survivor recieve a 7% haste for 10 seconds.

No Mither - (added to it's current use) Instead of being able to recover from dying state without help, fall stagger is reduced by 75% at all times (even while exhausted) and escaping the trial alive grants 3000 bp in all categories. grunts of pain are reduced by 100% and you do not affect killer perks or abilities that are triggered from being injured.

  • Do you have any plans to equal the amount of rewards between the free and paid section of the rift?

  • You can't really reason with killers that think anything under a 4k is a loss. They'll just jump on the "survivor main bad" bandwagon and make up some exuse about how the game somehow favours survivors.

  • Day of the dead David with shirtless body. There are other better body skins but shirless David is just too meme worthy, and i've kind of grown an emotional attachtment to it...

  • Would be nice to get the full 8000 survival points for escaping instead of just 5000 and get bonus bloodpoints in all categories if you escape alive. But it should be more than just a point perk, WGLF should also be more than a point perk.

  • Why run no mither when you can just run unbreakable for the same effect but better, the chances that the killer is gonna leave on on the ground long enough to fully recover is unlikely, but the chances of the same thing happening twice in the same trial with the killer knowing you can pick yourself up is almost impossible.

  • Key's are no where near as strong as moris. it bothers me so much when people try to compare them, yes keys can be powerfull but unlike moris, survivors have to actually work for it to earn just the chance to use it.

to use a key you have to:

    1. have at least one teammate be sacrificed
    2. fully repair at least 3 generators or make it to end game
    3. find the hatch which spawns in a completely random location

keep in mind that you have to do all this while being tunneled by the killer for having a key.

    to use a mori:

    1. hook a survivor
    2. down the survivor after they're unhooked

I'm pretty sure this isn't difficult to do for most people who play killer...

  • I just played the game normally, all did was use iron grasp + agitation with 2 other perks and instead of hooking them on a random close hook, i just hook them in the basement each time, i didn't tunnel or camp and i did it on my third try as huntress on the ormond map, didn't get any complaints from survivors either. However, i did have to slug the third guy so the hatch wouldn't open.

  • I'm so tired of the double standards from the devs and killers. Why is it okay for the killer to dodge lobbies based on profile names and items (and sometimes skins) but survivors can't dodge based something as simple as teammate's ranks. Nobody even complained about lobby dodging ever sinse dedicated servers came, I bet it wasn't even a bug either, otherwise they wouldn't have left it in the game for such a long time...

  • It was really tough for me to do this but i did it eventually. the key is to:

    • never be the first to get caught by the killer
    • use bond
    • never work on a generator alone unless it's almost finished and/or no one else is repairing generators.
    • if you see survivors working a generator that has no room for you to help with it, try to get the killer to stop them. (only do this if you're really desperate)
  • Dead hard won't be fixed until they improve their dedicated servers and even then it would still need some tweaking.

  • Make safe unhooks counts too but increase the amount of stacks to 4 and change the penalty to where instead of your aura being revealed for the remainder of the match, your aura is revealed after the exit gates are powered or hatch is opened if you have successfully used it.

  • Imagine thinking no mither is too strong because you can't use your one shot power on a one shot survivor🤔

  • I'm jst tired of all the double standards coming from mostly killers. Killers are allowed to use red mories with no shame but i'm toxic for having a key?

  • I think WGLF needs an in game effect too but I don't agree with making it like MoM, that would just make it even more dificult then it already is to gain tokens. It also bother me how survivors have to go out of their way to get stacks with WGLF but with BBQ killers can gain stacks natrually by just hooking survivors.

I think both the unhooking and unhooked survivor should get a 7% haste for a few seconds.

  • Not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but my fps has dropped from 60 to 30 ever sinse the update...

  • I couldn't care less about any of the other exclusives that were released, the only one I wanted was the untamed donkey jacket and I can't even get that now. I really hope they make it available in another event...

  • Spirit nerfs, no more ez 4Ks for the spirit mains anymore 😈

  • Why do the devs hate solo survivors so much? It's like they can't stand the idea of us having anything nice. And with dedicated servers, there's no issue with lobby dodging, it doesn't hurt anyone's gameplay in any way and literally nobody has been complaining about it...

  • 50 mins in and still nothing...######### are they doing?

  • So where's the update...?

  • Dead hard. It's both the most usefull and most useless perk at the same time...

As for killer: BBQ&C - Love it because of extremely usefull aura reading and free bloopoitns. Ruin because whenever I'm the killer, it goes immediately, but whenever i'm a survivor, no one ever finds it...

  • Green keys should be the opposite of what it is now, you can open the hatch with it but addons will have no effect and the hatch immedietly closes after key user has left.

Did I ever even mention dodging a lobby? No, I didn't think so. Get off your high horse, you are no one to tell people what or how to play. If your only advice or explanation for OP's question is telling other people "re-evaluate your life" take your own advice instead of taking the time to be negative online.

woah...what happened buddy? everyone was having a civil conversation and you just got extremely offended out of no where for no reason...

Idk if this is bait or not but you can't be quickswitching that blatantly and then be surprised some people find it toxic.

I'm not trying to justify their camping or tunneling as I don't do it myself, but quickswitching has always been regarded as a pretty toxic thing to do; it's common knowledge.

Personally I don't feel like any particular survivor mains are more toxic than the rest, but I do have less respect for default Claudette mains just because of how unfair her base kit camouflage is.

dodging a lobby just because of a few cosmetics and items is way more toxic then just last second switching. There isn't even anything toxic about last second switching because it's just avoiding being dodged by killers who can't handle a challenge. I'm pretty sure almost no one thinks it's toxic anyway and anyone who actually thinks it is, needs to re-evaluate their life and stop playing dbd
