i think the only character here that has an issue with sex appeal is the spirit. all she has on are a few bandages for some reason, when logically, she should be wearing something, since i imagine she must have had some clothing on when she was killed and taken into the fog...
Of course there's the hag too but her body has rotted to the point of being unrecognizable.
-
Not that i'm saying i want a meta among survivor characters, but assuming that this would lead to that, which is unlikely. Why are killers the only ones that get to have a meta and not survuivors, seems like a clear double-standard doesn it?
-
I like the idea but the numbers a pretty low. it would still be extremely difficult to repair even 50% of a gen at two survs.
imo it would make more sense to have at at 33% with 3 survivors, 66% at 2 survivors, and at one survivor left, generators don't regress because the last survivor is expected to look for the exit instead of wasting time repairing.
-
the amount of times the killer has downed me mid-animation dead hard is just ridiculous. i've pretty much just given up on that perk and just use sprint burst now. The problem with the perk isn't the timing or duration, it's the core functionality of the perk itself which is out of the player's control. baisically, the perk doesn't work even when it's supposed to and the player uses it correctly
-
keys should just be reworked to open exit gates faster imo
-
tbh i'm more excited about the cheaper bp webs. i've been saving up my 2 mil bp and double daily rewards to unlock 2 prestiges in one spending spree. Also the buffed endurance to unhooks, although i'm still not sure how much it'll help.
-
probably an unpopular opinion, blight is just as strong as nurse, with and without addons. and is in need of a good nerf just as much as her.
-
crossing my fingers and hoping for an infinite BP bug ๐
-
To be fair, it's not like like you have to do it in a single trial, so the challenge isn't that difficult, just time consuming at worst.
-
I wouldn't celebrate just yet, tunneling and camping killers are relentless, they'll find a way to ruin this maybe.
I feel like this is kind of a step in the right direction but it's still not enough. Sure you're safe once you're unhooked, but what about while you're hooked? How can a survivor rescue you from a camping killer without trading or unrealisticly high skill coordination?
-
I have my own rule that, the second the exit gates are powered, it's every man for themselves. I will only ever attempt to save someone after the gens are done if either, I don't care about surviving, or it directcly benefits me (distracts the killer away from me, or an unhook challenege). I don't expect to get saved during endgame either, if i get caught, i just accept my fate and try to stall the killer until the other can escape.
-
I get where you're coming from, but there's a high chance that the no prestige you're dodging is actually an experienced player who's just playing a survivor that was recently bought or havn't leveled up that specific character to prestige yet
I really like having the prestige levels shown off in the lobby, so i'd be really bummed if they also got hidden because of reasons like this...
-
Although I doubt it, I hope blight is adressed as well, he might not be as commonly used as her, but he's just as strong as the nurse imo
-
i'm genuinly confused as to why this is only now coming to people's attention. DBD has been clearly pay2win the second they added their very first paid dlc chapter. Even if what they're doing is wrong under this context, it's a little too late to complain about pay2win after all this time has passed...
-
Because i wanna represent our gay icon David ๐ณ๏ธโ๐, but the portraits themselves don't look that great...
-
baisically all of the paid ones that I currently own (excpet doctor and hag since they come with ace and feng) since i only play killer for tome missions and occasionally dailys. If could go back, i would settle with just the base game characters and get all the other perks through the shrine.
-
a bit off topic, but does anyone have the images of the cosmetic concepts from the voting website?
-
It sucks, but it's not as bad as the big pharmercy nerf. you can no longer be garunteed a green medkit from a chest while healthy. by the time you're injured, all the chests would have allready been unlocked, making the perk unusable.
This was a perfectly balanced perk that literally no one complained about, but had the lame excuse that "they don't want teammates to steal thier medkit". it's kind of offensive that they're trying to trick us into thinking it's a buff, same with calm spirit...
-
Not that I'm justifying hook suicides, but the reason for hook suicides is less about your lowered chances of survival, and more about the lowered chances that you're going to have any fun. If you get hooked at 5 gens, there's a high chance that rest of the match is going to be very fustrating, and most pepole just don't feel that it's nessasery to put up with that just for a few solo que strangers.
-
The lack of variety in survivor gameplay. for killer mains, when you start getting bored of a certain killer, you could switch to another killer. But survivors don't get that privilege, beyond teachable perks, survivors are just skins. There should be unique abiilities for different survivors, not strong enough to make a big impact on game balance, but enough strong to give pepole a reason to play one survivor over another outside of just perks and skins.
Also, killers seeing survivor's names/profiles in the lobby, but survivors can't look at the killer's. going purely basen on game balance, there should be no logical reason for a killer to be able to see a survivor's name and profile, it should be enough to just see the survivor's apppearences and items. all it does is open up the oppotunity for killers to target specific people ina toxic way.
-
As a survivor I hate steves, they play as if it's their sole purpose in life is to sabotage their teammates. I have yet to meet a steve that's altruistic in any way.
It's hard to choose which killer is the worst to play against, but if i had to pick one, blight. It feels like a crime that he hasn't been nerfed into the ground yet. He's as powerfull as a pro nurse but takes much less skill to master, not that nurse required much skill to play in the first place...
As a killer, there isn't really any specific survivor that comes to mind, but the neon coloured neas are kind of intimidating...
-
Vitality
Finding yourself an escape in a desperate situation fills you with vitality
After being in a chase with the killer while injured, for a total of 30/45/60 seconds, Vitality will activate. While Vitality is active, the next time you stun the killer by any means, you instantly recover 35% of your health state. Vitality will then reset. If you are healed to healthy state by this perk a total of 3 times, Vitality deactivates for the remainder of the trial.
-
It would be way more fair to have have seperate catgories for one male survivor and one female survivor cosmetic design
-
The devs have clearly stated that they WANT this to be a throw perk and are too stubborn to listen to anyone about it. They're claiming that somehow there are people that want to use this as a "hard mode" perk, but that obviously isn't true.
Also anything that even hints at solo survivors having anything nice will immediately fall on deaf ears. Sorry for sounding so negative.
-
pretty strange since this was by far the easiest rift to finish for me. this was the first rift where i got to the end without spending any auric cells to skip levels. All the bonus challenges from the event combined with all the login bonuses should have been more than enough. the event wasn't even halfway done by the time i finished the rift myself.
-
he's basiscally on the level of a pro nurse, but without any of the skill nessasery to master the killer
-
i don't like that he has three very different powers in one killer, he can tp to lockers, has nightfall, and can leave a husk behind to tp back to, often used mid chase. IMO the last ability should be heavily changed, it's baisicly playing hag on easy mode, and almost feels like an unintended "tech" on the devs part, much like blight's wall hug bug exploit.
-
Iron will and spine chill were the two perks i used in almost every build, so i'm pretty bummed about the nerfs, but it's not like it's the end of the world.
I don't know about you guys, but i'm gonna sub out iron will for off the record, and as for spine chill, it could still be useful, but if it's as bad as people expect, then i might switch it for premonition.
-
I was dreading this challenge while i was working my way towards it. but i actually managed to do it on my first attempt where i got first hook at 5 gens and i was playing somewhat risky, i guess i got lucky enough to get decent teammates vs a killer was wasn't super sweaty for once. I think only one teammate died if any, from what i can remember.
-
i don't undertsand ppole who don't want this perk changed because they want it is a "hard mode" perk. if you want a hard mode then just...don't heal???
I don't mind the permanant injured effect from the beggining of the match, but there needs to be an actual reward for it, currently, it's an all risk, no reward perk. its sad excuse of a power is extremely easy and simple to counter (much like every other non-meta survivor perk). The power exchange for being permamntly injured needs to be escpecially strong, like OG DS and MoM levels of strong

has anyone fully read "the importance of being king"? I have and i loved it, it's definitely my favourite tome story with yui's / trickster's as a close second. As a fellow british gay man, I have to say, I couldn't imagine a better way for David's sexuality to be revealed.
-
i really want a gay male pride charm for our gay king David ๐ณ๏ธโ๐

@Mooks said:
They have confirmed they will add an original character that is LGBTQ+ soon(-ish). As of now, most characters are intentionally left open, some however have canonically heterosexual relationships mentioned in their lore.
It's been a year or two since they've said that so i'm pretty sure that was just another lie. I'm tired of the devs pretending they care about the gay community, it's insulting.
If they actually cared about gay representation, there wuold be at least 2-3 gay characters by now.
-
The perk will never be useful or fun to use in any way until they change it to hide the use of no mither from the killer. logically, the only true way to do this is to have the survivor begin the game in healthy state and once they're injured, they get the broken status effects for the remainder of the trial, and the icon is not visible to the killer.
Currently, from the perspective of the killer, using no mither is no different from holdig a key. You're just asking to get tunneled, because not only do they see it as a threat, but killer mains have somehow convinced themselves that it's toxic and BM...
-
This really sucks. players are literally forced to play killer if they want to get to the end....

It's not only to do with how she handled the Trickster's murders. It's also to do with how she stepped on other people and sabotaged them in order to climb higher in the k-pop industry (which apparently is common practice). As it's a very cut-throat industry. If you read the quotes and descriptions from her personal perks, it explains what kind of person she is quite well.
just read through her perks and it seems you're right, it definitely comes off as a selfish nature. It's cool to see the writters being somewhat realistic with their lore.

She ignores the deaths of innocents to protect her own career, she definitely comes across as selfish. Strong willed for sure though.
was that how it went? I thought it was something like, she didn't want to risk her career over a suspicion that might just be a misunderstanding or that she couldn't bring herself to believe something that would be too cruel to be true, and when she realized her suspicion was correct, she regreted not doing something sooner and resolved to take revenge.
-
that's kinda strange. personaly to me, she didn't really come off as someone who would play with a selfish playstyle from what i've read about her lore. it just seems to me that she has the strongest will to survive out of all the survivors.
-
Shirtless David but with chest hair, that's the most imprtant thing.
As for the other two pieces to comeplete the set, neon blue shorts and a bearded face with neon blue face paint (with the neon parts glowing in the dark). I'd love this for him, it gives off a lot of 'gay bear' symbolism ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
-
I like the way it is now but they should have kept the aura reading from hex totems, and in exchange, the aura reading should have a cooldown.
-
because it's a one time use perk that you don't get to decide when to use. I think 10 seconds of use should be restored every time you're healed to healthy state but in exchange reduce the max time a bit.
-
Um are we even playing the same game. literally almost every single map rework and new map release has been a survivor nerf....
-
I hate the way WGLF is now, it's completely counter productive to gaining stacks but BBQ&C isn't, this is really unfair. what they need to do is switch the functions of WGLF and We'll Make It. This way, it will be beneficial for both the player and the teammate, the player is gaining stacks more easily and the teammate is getting healed. It will also pair nicely with borrowed time.
And for those who actually like the current fuction of WGLF will still be able to use it through We'll Make It.
-
i feels like there's litrally no cooldown on the perk. every time a killer uses it, i feel like i get exposed every single time no matter how soon the killer picks up the next survivor.
-
More crow emotes for pride month? I hope that means we'll get one for gay male pride. People like to forget that we exist and deserve just as much recognision as lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people. Most pepole don't even know we have our own flag...
-
for a very limited time event, this seems unnecessarily difficult, especially for survivors. they could at least make it spawn in the same location each time, like killer shack or main building.
-
Yes! BT is a counter perk. the only way a counter perk should be countered is by not doing the thing the perk is specifically designed to counter. (The only way BT should be countered is by not camping)
-
imo it's a meaningless change, it's not even a buff. Open handed will always be useless as long as you're forced to pair it with another perk. it should have it's own solo use in addition to what it already does, like botany knoledge. botany knoledge is designed to buff other healing perks and items but it's still usefull on its own.
-
i really can't think of any nerf keys would need. imo they're mostly already balanced since you have to put in a lot of work and sacrifice a teammate to get the hatch. The only thing i can think of is, keys can no longer be obtained from chests, only from bloodwebs.
-
If we can't have springtrap then there's no way we should have any weeb anime in this game...
