Maybe they bought the killer and want to play him? I see lots of the same survivors running the same perks and you don’t see killers complaining.
"I see lots of the same survivors running the same perks and you don’t see killers complaining."- LOL! You aren't serious, right?

No one is saying it's not fair. I'll just wait out your BT and stick you back on the hook.
Fair enough. I carry DS these days, though. 😏

I can see it being acceptable at EGC but other than that it's kind of annoying.
Oh, I think it's annoying as well. I'm just saying sometimes body-blocking is the best move. It's fair in my opinion.
-
I don't mind it and think it's fair. Sometimes it's best to bodyblock the guy that unhooked, especially if he's injured or has been hooked twice.
-
You don't. Poor Dwight! I always try to play killer with both sides' fun in mind. Same with survivor. I'll even let the killer kill me sometimes if he played badly.
-
Yeah, I never understood why Slinger can reel while walking backwards. This removes counterplay.

I don't get easily vexed on the internet, simply because those people are nobodies and I have a lower chance of meeting them in person than winning the lottery at a local convenience store. I'm as cool as the ocean~
All I wanted was for people to actually know when and what words to use to describe a certain situation. What that Kate did was commendable, what I did (not trying to boast) should also be something others should strive for, but trying to undermine these actions by using a falsely applied term called "greed" is simply wrong.
Sure, the whole ordeal is high risk-high reward with very little to no value in return for us, but what's the point in playing an online multiplayer game when we're not going to work as a team til the very end?
Sadly, killer mains can't resonate with us in this department...
Agreed. It's not greed at all.
-
It's going to be a very boring game. First person that goes down is gonna get camped. Oh, he's gonna have noed as well.
-
@AJStyIez said:
Its not BM but that's the epitome of a greedy play so I don't understand why you're surprised at that. If you're both at the gates unharmed and Meg isn't in your party to communicate AND she's across the map then you're being greedy by going to attempt the save when there's barely time left. In reality, a lot of people attempt to save regardless of the scenario, but by technicality the optimal play is to just leave and let him 1k. It has nothing to do with whether or not you're a good teammate, its literally just a greedy play that led to an unnecessary death
This is so silly. There is nothing greedy about wanting to help another teammate. I do this a lot because I don't like leaving my teammates behind and it sucks getting left to die on hook. It's not being greedy.

Ok! Well Cade's Cove also has old churches and cemeteries you can go in and through. We used to have picnics there but I'm not sure if you're allowed to anymore. Always see wildlife especially in the mornings. Also Gburg has a really good Haunted House.. Ripley's Haunted Adventures. It's worth going as well as it's open all year.
I haven't been there since like 2005, lol. Was very cool!

We're in (or were in) Gatlinburg TN. Went up the mountain and got a bunch of pics but that was my favorite one. The sunbeams were a happy accident.
Been there. Very nice place!

I only hate huntress because I am almost 100% positive I have not faced a single huntress where I didn’t get hit by her throwable dumpsters around a corner
This! I can't stand her anymore. I only played a couple hours today because almost all of them were Huntress players. I took a break after that.

Ah yes, the old "its boring for everyone" trope.
CLEARLY the killer is having a good time. I know I do when I facecamp. Because you won't be alone for a long. Only a matter of time before Huey, Dewey, and Louis show up charging into the basement trying to play Justice League.
I meant on the survivor side. Little points, few chases, just working on gens until the poor guy on the hook dies. This obviously isn't healthy for the game. The devs are looking at it. Let's hope they find a good solution.

Because you like hitting Killers with DS at the Exit Gate. :P
DS is an anti-tunneling perk. Survivors can still get tunneled after the gens are done, right? The perk is fine and it's doing what it's supposed to do. No, it does not need to deactivate. This is crazy to me.
-
Hopefully, he gets a few of his addons nerfed. I wouldn't mind tinkerer getting nerfed as well... Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer is just brain dead on Blight.
-
LF is a pretty popular killer and almost all of them I go against face-camp, and it needs nerfed. It sucks just hanging on a hook for the entire game knowing that there is no way for your teammates to help. It's boring for everyone.
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:
Unfortunately I've gotten it allmost every game recently
Same here. I've seen it A LOT recently. I usually get the totems that I see, but I usually don't find them all and get hit with NOED. My teammates will usually just pass totems without cleansing them. Could be because of boons, though.
-
I see it a lot. Probably close to half of my games. Honestly just want it to get a rework already.
-
@AnneBonny said:
a certain someone who makes balancing decisions seems to include noed in a lot of their builds. take that how you will.
Now it all makes sense... lol
-
Yep! I threw on boil over today (some other non-meta perks as well) because I was bored of using CoH, DS, IW and Overcome... I kinda wanted to give the killer a break as well, but guess what? A bunch of killers purposely tunneled, camped, smacked me on hook repeatedly and left me to bleed out all because of that perk. I was playing solo and barely got use out of the perk. This game really brings out the worst in people. Guess I'm just gonna switch back to my meta perks again. This does happen on both sides.
-
I can't really take anyone serious if they think playing survivor doesn't take any skill. That's ridiculous. BOTH sides take skill to play well.

If your teammate is too scared to do gens and you end up dying, are you really a skilled player?
Nope, everyone knows that the person that doesn't do anything but still escapes is actually the skilled player. The guy that did everything but still dies is just a terrible player and deserves to lose mmr. 🙂

I've seen like 3 since her release hype stopped. I don't think she's as strong as you think she is. She has plenty of counter play she's just boring for both sides imo.
3 times? I see her a lot. I've played against her countless times. I've seen how good players use her. She is super strong and boring. I definitely think she's gonna get some well-deserved nerfs.
-
Pretty clear to see that the forums are killer sided.
-
Yep, she needs nerfs. I've said this since she released. I'm sure she'll get them, just gotta be patient

Some killers will get nerf for sure. Blight, Nurse (?) and probably most of top tier killers. M1 killers will be more viable, so i doubt they will get nerf. But yeah Dead Hard is pretty strong perk and ignoring by devs for years.
This. Some Killers are for sure gonna get hit with the nerf hammer, lol.
To the OP- Thank you for sharing this with us. I always love looking at stats. :)
-
I'm not a killer main, but I can confirm I never do this when I play killer. I don't care if you're on PC or console.
-
I can't really think of any reasons why she would receive a nerf. She'll most likely get a buff, if anything.
-
@Aurelle said:
Trickster needs a full on rework, imo.
Yep. He desperately needs a rework. I despise him. lol

@Kurri said:
I see it as a good thing kind of. If all the Survivors played to win during PTB then the statistics would show more accurately the strengths and weaknesses of new Killers, new maps, and new perks. Like sucks you don't have fun testing the new content, but at the same time you are TESTING. Less party game, and more serious.
This is exactly what I was about to post. This is a good thing. We can actually see how strong or weak she is. Playing to win is what most people should be doing.
-

boons are in a great spot right now, so I'd say they'll be more careful when they release more boons in the future. The biggest thing we'll have to worry about is the killer at the moment. I'm just hoping it isn't another boring anti-loop killer. Let's hope she's unique and interesting.
-
Sure, if we give it some much needed buffs in return.
-
@ukenicky said:
Same except survivor side. Literally every match is face campers on first hook.
Neither side is fun to play lately so I've been just not playing LOL
This. I don't agree with the survivors just trying to bully the killer for fun, but I can't really blame people for playing in SWF. This game is almost unplayable for solo survivors. Nothing but killers that tunnel, camp, etc. You also get survivors that kill themselves on first hook, DC, troll their teammates, work with the killer, etc. Solo desperately needs buffs. This is why we are seeing so many SWF players.
-

So because you're teammates were good at running the Killer, you've decided to throw your matches.
That's some solid logic.
I think we both know what he means. Those guys were most likely just trolling the killer and had no intentions of playing the game normally. This guy had to do all of the gens himself because they refused to.
-
It does feel like I get matched with more SWF groups more often (maybe it's just me though). I can't blame them. Solo is in a terrible state right now. What else are they supposed to do?
-

If you have played this game more than 100 hours you kinda start remembering the spawn places of totems. CoH is still highly broken and i'm losing matches due to the constant boon spamming.
I disagree. It's in a good spot right now. People just want them to be nerfed until they are useless. Let's be honest.

Killers being able to snuff quickly is such a stupid argument even if we ignore the fact that they can be infinitely relit.
Let's do the math shall we? Claudette Meg Dwight and Jake are the survivors and the killer is Trapper.
Trapper takes 5 seconds out of his intentional route to snuff a boon. The act of snuffing also takes 2 seconds bringing it to a total of 7.
Meg is not being chased for those 7 seconds. Claudette is not being pressured for those 7 seconds. Nothing is preventing Jake from healing for those 7 seconds. And Dwight knows you saw his boon and is busy rekindling it elsewhere with no threat.
There is 4 survivors in the game and each now gain 7 seconds. 7x4=28. Survivors gain 28 seconds even WITHOUT actually healing with the totem.
The perk is fine. Perks are meant to be useful. Of course, you can get use out of it most of the time. This is a good thing, lol.

@Warcrafter4 said:

Its almost always is because usually its more beneficial for SOMEONE on the team to be healing based on circumstance.
Remember it effects teammates so situations where ALL FOUR survivors need to avoid healing is very rare.
There are times when you spend time setting everything up, then the killer comes and snuffs it. Sometimes before you can even heal and all that time is wasted.
I've died countless times because my teammates want to keep blessing totems instead of gens or unhooking teammates.
-

Not really.
-
@Pulsar said:

Not when CoH vastly outweighs that timesink.
The ability to heal yourself is invaluable. That's why med-kits are so good.
It depends. Sometimes its best to do gens instead.

It takes so much time finding totems
It does not take hardly any time to find 1 Totem. To find all 5? Sure, but it's quick and easy to find one.
It usually takes me a bit to find one. Every second counts in this game.
-
It's pretty balanced now. I don't feel like any nerfs are needed. It takes so much time finding totems, then blessing them and healing. Killer can snuff them super quickly as well. Boons are supposed to be strong.

@Lightsoutx12 said:
I don't personally think NOED is unfair by any means. Could it use maybe a tweak of some sort? I guess? But I feel it kind of does anything I would ask for. It lets you know when it is active (granted after someone is hit) and you have an opportunity to avoid it. The argument some of my friends I play with will say is that the killer gets a free kill or two while they were bad the whole game. But, to counter that, I always let them know that if the killer was so bad, why did you get downed?
Because of the extra speed the killer gets when NOED activates? That's my guess.
-
@The_BiggCheeze said:
Problem is that when there's a time TO camp the killer would be punished for it (end game for example). There has to be something in place to where it isn't 100% unfair for either side.
Camping is a VERY big problem but it'll also be VERY hard to fix.
I say at least give us more bloodpoints for getting camped and tunneled, makes it less painful when it happens every 9/10 games.
Agreed. It's a very tricky thing to fix. It needs to be fair for both sides. The devs mentioned wanting to do something about camping, but who knows if it'll happen.

Yep, I get that bug as well. I like playing as Pinhead, but I can't stand playing against him 😆
