24000 hours would mean you played for 24 hours a day for 3 years straight almost. Nice modded account. @Peanits Check that account and let me know if you disagree.
Not only that but devotion system only came out in late may of 2018
-
I'll be honest, I don't think that's possible unless you literally live on this game. I have over 1300 hours in game since the devotion system came out and am at devotion 8 level 50ish. Just doing quick math based on my and other people's devotion levels you would have to be on around 17-18 hours a day to do that. I guess not impossible, but ######### are you doing with your life if that number is even close to real.
-
I would have to agree with the above comments that David and Plague are hardest. David is the only one that I actually had to try to get the adept for more than a couple matches and Plague you have to fight against using your power or against the emblem system. I've only had a handful of merciless victories with Plague and none of them with only her perks, 4 iri is just difficult to do because you're either losing or snowballing with her.

I'm glad that you understand how powerful and underrated she is. Finally, a person who understands, plus she has amazing gen control, people rarely can get two gens done when I play her.
Her only real weak points imo are high wall loops that you can't vomit over, but even then some gap shots you can make are super fun on her. I just wish her chaser emblem was a tiny bit easier to get as it's very, very difficult to get a merciless in red ranks due to that (although it's all the sweeter when you do). Currently her and nurse are my mains, but I am definitely re-finding my love of trapper as well.
-
As another person who has plague as a main I agree she is underrated. My favorite add-ons are the two apples, vile emetic, and rubbing oil. Against blendettes I use the severed toe with black incense because why wouldn't I want to know where you're crouching around at all times? But yea, I've had games I'll lose 2-3 gens early because I want to get infections going and then no more will happen since they feed me my power or infectious fright prompts multiple chases when they're broken. She is on many maps a win/win if you are decent at running chases.
-
Bp, always bp. I have everything unlocked in the first couple of days when dlc's drop, so every new dlc I spend them on bp then when things are maxed out I start saving again.
-
2-3 kills with a decent amount of pressure or a challenging 4k are wins to me. 4k because they acted like they had never seen a nurse in their life before is boring and honestly not a 'win' to me.
As survivor I will sacrifice myself over half the time to try and get more people out. I'm not doing my job if I'm not taking heat from the killer to help out.

Look for all the empty spaces, they could at least give us some shards or bloodpoints
No, they have no obligation to do so and they shouldn't either. As soon as people like you get their way with asinine things like this then you keep asking for more. It is a free side that is rewarding you with cosmetics for just playing the game, be happy with what you get ffs
-
@USELESS said:
Didn't you noticed that BHVR only put the rift to make you buy the pass? They didn't even added stuff on the free pass, it's just a blank
What are you talking about? The free side has a full Feng and Spirit cosmetic set and a Kate top, Huntress axe, and another Feng head. This stuff if bought separately in store would be worth more than the $10 for the rift pass and they are all on the free side.
-
I'm not even done with level 4 and I'm at 70. I've been done 2-3 weeks ahead of time every rift. The time it takes is perfectly reasonable imo

That would feel kinda bad since I only got 50k and I've been playing since around Christmas 2016

I don’t mind slugging. But don’t u think just making the gap a bit wider and removing the boxes would be better than putting a vault there? It’s just a simple idea. It will work the same as it was but it would be able to stop the blocking. And I don’t think it would be that hard to rework. It’s only a small rework, it’s not a huge one.
I understand what you're saying, but those spots are made that way with the intent of being a good hiding spot unless you are found. I've been trapped in an upstairs room on haddonfield with no windows and a Wraith bodyblocked the only door in and out. I accepted my mistake and was ready to take the down. However this situation was almost exactly like your friend's in that he wouldn't let me leave, he stood in the doorway ringing his bell until EGC took me which was 5+ minutes later. I guess what I'm saying is the maps aren't the problem, just give good evidence of taking the game hostage/ unsportsmanlike and report them.
-
It is a channeled action that can be interrupted by the killer or survivor, it's been this way forever. They are risking a hook trade to get their friend off the hook. If you want to possibly keep them both there save the best for last is great at helping you recover more quickly. This is all timing based, and I believe it is indeed intended as being unable to stop the action would result in survivors unable to leave situations where they don't wish to go down. I realize I'm probably not one of the people you were directing this at, but I've been playing for over 3 years now, so I at least feel decently confident in my input.
-
Meg, Nea, David. All killers. First P3 was Trapper and Nea
-
In my personal opinion, 2 hooking people to be able to Mori is silly, it's just a cosmetic change from carrying them or killing them with a long animation on the ground. Requiring all 4 people to be hooked is also stupid as you can have a person or two hide all game and you never get to use it. Personally I would make it nearly the same as it is now, but have an overall 3 hook minimum before the first mori can happen.
-
Do you have proof of the cheating, because I highly doubt you have people cheating anywhere close to that often. Honestly you either sound like you need to get better at understanding how things work on survivor side or you're trolling

Pennywise would make no sense at all. Pennywise is an entity on the same powerlevel if not more powerful.
Glad I'm not the only one aware of this

I've met and played with about 10-15 different women over the years. I'm not super outgoing so it may not seem like a lot for 3 years, but it is about 40% of people I've known through this game.

Look at the clip myers posted, killer chases someone, downs them and applies pressure elsewhere in attempt to slow them down, it still results to nothing.
I'm saying the video you posted adds nothing to this thread, it isn't an insight into anything.
Also myers video was of a trapper who may as well not have a power on Lery's, he downs someone (yay pressure!) and leaves them to get picked up thus losing possible stacks/pressure by picking a chase he then loses anyway.
I'm not saying that gens are 100% fine, but these videos are of games that are not nearly as common as you're trying to portray them.

5 gens in 4:13 with a single brown toolbox and no addons.
The demo tunnels and pressures no one else in that match during gen fixing, they had nothing to do so that is entirely on the killer.

I definitely agree that the pallets start falling. The problem is that that is not a good thing. :P
It is when they are injured in the asylum. As I previously stated you need them gone, don't do them all at once, but if you can even cut out half the pallets in there early then you will be able to keep them out of it better. The asylum is easier to deal with than ironworks, abattoir, wretched shop loops as those you literally can do nothing about. I'm just trying to present that it in most setups is perfectly playable if not immediately then over time.

A lot of that feels like banking on Survivors not being good enough to keep calm while injured, which I think is something you can rely on less and less the higher rank you go.
You'd be surprised, I play in red ranks as killer and all you need to do is show you don't respect pallets and they start falling
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1151843#Comment_1151843
In order for you to break the indoor pallets, you kinda have to waste time chasing someone inside the building, no? That kinda seems like playing right into their hands.
Only follow injured survivors into the asylum, they are much more likely to drop pallets to avoid hits. If you don't feel you can end the chase quickly then break the pallet and leave. They will have to heal up and move on if the asylum gen is done already and if it isn't then give vague pressure, see if you can force them to drop out and kick any pallets along the way. The objective in buildings like the asylum is to destroy the strong points or force them away from it. Throw on I'm all ears if you're having trouble knowing which way they are going after a vault out of the glass room/side vault/any pallet.

You guys don't care to put this in the perk description? The wording needs to be updated to reflect this. Had no idea until it happened to me yesterday. Never mind it's already a dang minute to minute and a half cooldown for one hook.
It says in the perk description the sabotage action (not completion) has a cooldown. So if you started it regardless of whether or not you completed it, it goes on cooldown.
-
Break the indoor pallets when they are dropped, learn the building drop points, drop chase if necessary, let them complete asylum gen and keep a 3 gen on the outskirts of the map, hook away from the building. These are all viable on this map as the map has big open sightlines between the jungle gyms and the main building.

Yeah but like i posted in the thread i made just have ds and then when the killer goes to punish you for saboing the hook ds him and congrats he lost both people. (Perfectly balanced isnt it i abuse ds to go out of my way to ######### over the killer twice over).
DS just needs a fundamental change (hence why I don't use it), but I don't want to turn this thread into a talk about that perk. Also half the time this strategy only worked since I was also running breakout.

Yeah the perk does doesnt matter if they have a toolbox.
Even if you get hit with an Alex's you only have enough time to sabo the hook and then you will be hit again, I had this happen multiple times last night (still had a blast doing it though since I saved people on death hook)
-
Sabo needs to be relevant as it gives survivors another objective, if you want to nerf it and get every survivor group to just keep gen rushing you then sure, nerf sabo. Hangman's trick was overpowered in its ptb state.

It is quit funny but you killer mains don't understand if survivors quit who are you going kill and complain about I for one will be happy to see this game fail if not just for satisfaction of the killer mains got what they wanted and the survivors decided that game wasn't worth playing anymore
No, I don't think you understand. Before this patch no one played killer as every killer was being dragged into red/purple rank games regardless of their own rank. Toolboxes are still fine and actually have another good use now. I'm sorry you aren't having a good time, but I'll be honest if you are all dying in every game you need to reevaluate how you're doing objectives.
-
I haven't heard of this issue either and never had it happen. If it's happening record it and report it to them
-
I already knew this as I play legion a decent bit, but dang they are hit or miss.

I'm so sorry, but I have no clue what you just said.
-
Hi, rank 4 killer here. If I'm camping it's because I see you trying to rescue or it's the endgame and I don't feel like chasing you away halfway across the map to have another person save. That is all.

Looking back now, i feel like my comment wasn't clear on what i confirmed.
Yes, it's the case that this is a glitch that's not been fixed yet.
Nowhere in patchnotes is this confirmed to be a legit thing for Wraith, and @Peanits confirmed not too long ago there were no changes planned for Wraith.
We can only wait.
Yea, I understand now. I was just initially reading it wrong from your comment.

I disagree. People will cleanse if they have to deal with thanatophobia and if they decide to give her power action debuff, that's even more of an incentive
I meant that if the corrupt pool drink was the only change that it would probably cause players to never cleanse, if both happened then yes people would cleanse, but also the amount of plague players would increase possibly, which might in turn increase the amount of players running resilience.

You could try something for legion as they have some literally useless add-ons now
-
Allowing her to gain her corrupt from any range would just make no one cleanse ever as opposed to the 5-10% of people that do right now.
I don't think the number of pools needs to change.
I would like to see an action speed slow down but I wouldn't say any more than 5% as they are already easier to track and down when sick.

I don't like...
- Staying cloaked after getting Lightburned

- "Blind Warrior" - Mud (Which is only because i don't like Blindness)
- The inconsistency of having to partially uncloak to kick Pallets & Generators, but not to close Hatches & open Exit Gates and Lockers.
It's been so long since I was lightburned that I thought it glitched me to being cloaked still.

The range add-ons make his shock incredibly slow. If you're having trouble at loops against a range add-on doc idk what to say because he is losing a lot of ground to do that and you should just be running the loop.

Wraith is the best boi. He bing bongs the best. I love the pap pap pap of his feet on the floor or through the mud on the swamp. I ran around during Hanukkah with the candle head telling people they were visited by the Menowraith.
