Disturbed ward has the most disgusting set up ever
The main building has up to 4 god pallets 2 on top and 2 on bottom, and 2 god windows. I even struggle on that map as nurse because of all the dead zones in the building and Los blockers

Welcome to Disturbed Ward, where if a survivor runs to the central building you have to drop the chase! Guess where all the survivors know to run to? The central building? Ding ding ding, correct! You win a free Depip and teabags at the exit gates!
Break the indoor pallets when they are dropped, learn the building drop points, drop chase if necessary, let them complete asylum gen and keep a 3 gen on the outskirts of the map, hook away from the building. These are all viable on this map as the map has big open sightlines between the jungle gyms and the main building.
In order for you to break the indoor pallets, you kinda have to waste time chasing someone inside the building, no? That kinda seems like playing right into their hands.
Only follow injured survivors into the asylum, they are much more likely to drop pallets to avoid hits. If you don't feel you can end the chase quickly then break the pallet and leave. They will have to heal up and move on if the asylum gen is done already and if it isn't then give vague pressure, see if you can force them to drop out and kick any pallets along the way. The objective in buildings like the asylum is to destroy the strong points or force them away from it. Throw on I'm all ears if you're having trouble knowing which way they are going after a vault out of the glass room/side vault/any pallet.
The thing is, that map is basically forcing survivors to go to the main building because there is almost nothing to use in the area surrounding the main building.
A lot of that feels like banking on Survivors not being good enough to keep calm while injured, which I think is something you can rely on less and less the higher rank you go.
Well, a lot of the map is dead space, but you also always have the shack and there's usually a few good jungle gyms close by. All of that just seems secondary because the main building is so ridiculously strong.
Yeah but those tiles are placed towards the edge of the map. You have stuff to use in either the main building or towards the edges of the map, the area between those is basically a dead zone. I can't really blame anyone for running to the main building for that reason.
You'd be surprised, I play in red ranks as killer and all you need to do is show you don't respect pallets and they start falling
I definitely agree that the pallets start falling. The problem is that that is not a good thing. :P
It is when they are injured in the asylum. As I previously stated you need them gone, don't do them all at once, but if you can even cut out half the pallets in there early then you will be able to keep them out of it better. The asylum is easier to deal with than ironworks, abattoir, wretched shop loops as those you literally can do nothing about. I'm just trying to present that it in most setups is perfectly playable if not immediately then over time.
