    Predator would be cool.

I had an idea where he could lock on and charge his shoulder gun mid chase, shooting it would slow you but charging wouldn't, so you could mindgame at a loop, pretend you're going for the shot and when the survivor ducks lunge them. I think it could be pretty fun.

Of course they'd have to give him a wraith like cloak, maybe one that can track survivors by heat siganiture.

Haha yeah that sounds amazing, if you would what other powers do the predators have, I haven't seen any of the movies

You might like that, but fans of specific characters might not. I'm a long time fan of the Aliens franchise and Xenomorphs, and I would personally prefer to see them in ALL of their glory when adapted to pretty much anything. Imagine a game shoe-horning One Punch Man into a game where he can't defeat his opponents with just one punch. It would completely defy the point of the character. For me, DbD would do the same thing to Xenomorphs.

I guess your right, but I think even if it's not perfect I'd love if they gave there best and made a unique killer than could climb on walls and spit acid/attach face huggers

True but imagine having a survivor just get freaking deleted in front of you hahahaha. Just ashes left

    I'd buy it now

I'd love to see there power use those little cyber mite things they introduced.

I personally would go on a date with the Trickster. He would show me a good time. Get me a back stage pass to his concert. Take me out on a fabulous dinner. And after showing me his knife collection and going on a murder spree we go back to his place and kiss goodnight.

None of the killers, mabye Lisa(Cheryl skin not the killer) if I was straight since she's cute, ace is a silver fox so probs him, and I've always crushed on Chris since I was a kid

  • Yeah I think. It's a bad map, to play on, looks tho, it's amazing other than that random orange gunk. Tho I had the easiest time Plying trickster on it compared to any other map same with huntress, other than that its a pain for most

Have you overlooked the part where without addons you can almost scoot by them with fixated ? Someone should try it, and i think 3-4 wouldn't be oppressive, the maps are huge.

Two is already oppressive enough, they kick survivors off gens and totems, destroy loops and take free health stages across the map. And more would just be a huge annoyance, they need to fix the ai. Not add more

  • @gatsby said:

Spine Chill pretty much prevents free hits from being out of position and makes sure the Killer has to work to down you. Also, its 6% boost is always nice for nail-biting vaults, gens, totem cleansing and heals.

It’s not quite as flashy as Unbreakable or Adrenaline, but a good Killer will definitely have moments where they notice they’re at a disadvantage because a Survivor is using Spine Chill. It really doesn’t have a downside and gets used consistently every game.

It's a boring perk that only gives benefit against few killers, I'd rather have fun perks to run then staring at the corner of my screen all game

  • @MadLordJack said:

What sci-fi killers would fit without being extremely lame? That's really the big question. Imagine. A Xenomorph in this game - it would be the worst, slowest, least scary xenomorph in existence.

Hmm, I'd like to see it's power put a face hugger on the survivor like pig with her traps, what they would do idk

  • @StibbityStabbity said:

Personally, I would rather DbD didn't touch Xenomorphs. The amount of characteristics of the creature they'd have to throw out would render it almost pointless for a fan. It would be a model of a Xenomorph doing non-Xenomorph things. This game simply isn't designed to make an Alien function the way they do in the comics, books, and movies. I feel it's better left to games specifically designed around Aliens doing Alien things, and not Hook-Gen-Gate game.

Terminator, on the other hand, I could see much more easily in DbD.

Idk, I don't think I would enjoy the killers if they were 100 on the mark, I like that they makes changes and give them powers that are unique to dbd , and it fits into the cannon or the entity twisting powers and stuff

Honestly predator fits in well in that line up, its the cybermen that stand out, cybermen never really feel scary and its in a non horror based show

I think it's more on the thought that Cyberman are just a species that forces humans through intense torture and pain to make mindless murder drones, tho weeping angels are scarier

  • @Literallyweezing said:

The Thing, an artic research station map would be so cool (no pun intended) and a Macready or Childs survivor would be great

A dead dawg offering should help honestly and brig iron grasp and you should almost be guaranteed the basement hook

I do not hate Dead Hard, i main killer but also play survivor just as much with friends.

I just wait it out for them to use Dead Hard.

sometimes it can save them in a tough situation where the survivor was and could’ve been in my hands and it’s worked for them getting out of the game and surviving or just escaping to another loop.

I don’t have issues with it I do use it for my survivors because I think it’s good when it works…. It doesn’t want to work half of the time with the frame drops and lags.

not so much on the ps5 but there has been a few stutters and especially on the PS4.

If it actually worked for it's intended purpose I think people would be even more mad about it, currently deadharding doesn't actually work the majority of the time so of course people use it for distance

  • @Northener1907 said:

Killer players are playing their game. They will play like how they wanna. They will play with any perk they wanna. If they are not cheating or not doing anything againts game rules, you can not judge them.

Some killer tactics and perks can be annoying for survivors. And i am not saying this is fun for survivors. But killers are not workers of BHVR, they are playing for their own fun. Why survivors thinking killer has this mission?

    Vice versa

  • Lol there fine in my opinion, may be annoying but all the more fun to playa against the twins, my favorite killer to play and go against

Freddy I know there used to be only 1 Badham Preschool and for whatever reason during the Freddy change they decided to make 5 Badham Preschools. I'm not sure about Hag, but I thought I heard at one point that Grim Pantry was released the same update as Bubba because it was supposed to be his map when they originally planned for it to be a full chapter. Maybe that's wrong I don't know, that would have been forever ago.

It released with bubba , but is tied to hag ,idk I'd just like more than one map for future killers at some point idk... Or adding a map for a killer lore or even maps related to survivors

    Blight!

I really want it to be another Macmillan Map, as I love those.

It would have a main building in the centre, Blight's Laboratory, and the map would be full of cankers, blight mutations and cankers. The structure would be similar to groaning storehouse but a bit smaller probably.

What do y'all think? I love this idea so much

So a sub realm? Tbh I'd be greatefull for anything as long as it looks different enough like plague or clowns sub realm

As long as none of it is indoors or lots of alleys and tight corridors as those ruin all enjoyment on maps

The top part should have buildings and the sewers mabye open like the new game(more balanced obviously)

  • @ChurchofPig said:

    Trickster or Twins for sure.

Also what killers came out with multiple maps? Other than technically Trapper, Wraith, and Hillbilly.

    Hag, and Freddy I bealive

  • @ccactus623 said:

How broken would that make the game ? The current problem with the game is there is must pick perks especially for killer. It might get average perks used a bit more one thing this game needs is a new meta

No thanks, its already hard enough to deal with some perk combinations, but to make them stronger I don't think it would work well, if anything I could see them add a slot for a hex perk then a slot for exhaustion, so five perks in total

  • @EntitySpawn said:

Twins, can easily see them on a mount ormand variant making it faster and easier to do, plus more snow maps... I like snow lol

Being a Gemini myself I sort of have a soft spot for the Twins thematically, but all we really have to go off of with them is they're French and from the 17th century. They were experimented on in a temple so...hmm.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/5YIW7HT9PDZT/c0bbbcddb91fbc99a1343c0052958727.jpg

Maybe if the art team could make a map out of that. It'd be a city map with breakable walls for some doors while Entity claws break some of the house walls to make the map playable. Like...Haddonfield but with less Strode House and more buildings. Also more French.

    Hon hon hon.

Edit: Actually give the area some backwoods too with a spot where you'd burn witches at the stake. That'd be kinda heavy but cool.

I was thinking of like haddonfield type , but actually balanced

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

Between those? Tricker, easily. Give me stage loops that remind me of the good old days playing Black Ops 1 Zombies. It could be really colorful and different compared to, well, you know... The rest. Maybe have some Kpop bumping in the back, some McDonald's BTS product placement? Lovely.

I do think tricksters map would be the more unique option, but for me twins in a old french town/village would be so cool

  • @Heartbound said:

They both need maps. Trickster could be a studio and Blight could be a research area with lots of plant/entity/pustula flowers all over the place. Make it a nightmare.

Between the two I'd want a Trickster map with a stage in the middle with a generator in the middle of the stage while the rest of the map is offices and maybe the parking lot out front. That'd be cool.

The more maps we have, the less chance I have of getting Shelter Woods.

Haha, shelter woods and dead dawg are my enemies, you don't want a twins map?

  • @Drywatr said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2334920#Comment_2334920

I've faced plenty of dead hard users in red ranks. Still get easy 2 or 3 kills if not all 4. Im sure for some killers like trapper for example that dh is hard to counter. But most of the killer roster shouldn't have too much problem against dead hard.

Yeah I mean once or twice it has come in clutch for the opposite side, like I'd they deadhard to a hate and I whiff, but the majority of the time it not game changing like most people put it out to be

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

Does Leprechaun In Space count? Not as good as when he went to the hood, but definitely more science fiction.

Leprechaun movies are fun, but I think they went in the direction of comedy tho that doesn't ruin it's possibilty , like a scary movie character like brenda

  • @Tower_XVI said:

I've been really curious how a psychic/psionic mindflayer type character might be realized in a game like this. I would love mechanics that alter perception of survivors. Something designed well enough could work against swf by feeding players (and thereby their teammates) misinformation.

How about a killer that. Temporarily puts a survivor in first person mode

  • @FancyMrB said:

Xenomorph, The Thing, or Necromorph. All of those would be amazing IPs to add.

I would also be down for original content that is a space station and hideous alien. Instead of powering exit gates the survivors power escape pods!

Yes love the escape pod thing , Ive always wanted more than gates, like a fisherman and raising an anchor for boats stuff like that

if deadhard is a "wasted perk slot" and "doesn't work half the time" you haven't been against a 4 man that deadhards to every window/pallet. its the most frustrating sleeper thing to go against, but to each their own. not here to perk shame etc. you can't really believe it isnt busted af. that's crazy.

I definitely don't agree with them that it's a wasted perk slot, just that every other exhaustion perk other than headon is more annoying to deal with

It seems to pick people from different worlds already, so it might be straight forward for it.

On the other hand, is it just different parallel Earths it takes from? If so, then maybe Dead Space could be a stretch for it.

Suddenly made me wonder whether the Entity is some Cthulu being, or simply some sort of virus which entwines around the different "layers" of Earth.

The entity is older than earth itself if I remember correctly, I wonder if we will ever get lore on old killers that serves there purpose or survivors that lost hope , like Alex ect

  • @Marc_go_solo said:

The Xenomorph is the big one, closely followed by T-1000 and something from Dead Space.

    Nothing exciting I'm afraid!

Yes deadspace is a big one, tho idk how big of a reach of the entity has on are universe

  • @UltraVenom said:

There should be a way to earn a temporary 5th perk slot or like a one time use of a 5th perk. I'm thinking killers could get something like a nerfed bbq and survivors could get a nerfed bt. Give them a lengthy cool down or something, but just a cool gambit, maybe it disables an add on or item slot.

Hmm idk, there should definitely be test on adding additional perk slots, even if just for costume games, but I. The main idk how they would balance it

I want a robotic killer being controlled by a mad scientist in the game. I think it could be interesting.

Yeah I agree, something that's not human or a monster (like all the killer we have right now, we need some stuff to change up the story of dbd, I believe we're getting a vampire soon cause of the tome stuff(yes I do consider vampires both fantasy and science fiction) ,

  • @Altarf said:

In the upcoming mid-chapter patch, the Trickster is getting some much-needed changes. These include reducing the number of Blade hits to injure to 6, increasing the speed of Laceration decay, making Main Event take 30 blade hits to charge instead of 20, and increasing the active Main Event window to 30 seconds.

However, let's look at this mathematically. Assuming you only land knives on people that you chase and down, and you only use Blades, the old Trickster would need to deal 2 1/2 health states of damage with blades to activate Main event. 16 blades for two injuries, and 4 blades on another survivor.

Now, let's look at the new Trickster. Since it only takes 6 Blades to injure, and Main Event now needs 30 Blades to charge, you will need to get 5 health states worth of damage using only Blades to charge main event.

    5 health states.

That's 2 full downs and one injure, assuming you get every injure with Blades. That is less than half of the charge rate of old Main Event, and in actual gameplay, a lot of your injuries will be with M1 due to the limitations of Trickster's power. This means you'll be getting Main Event much, much, MUCH less frequently. Problem is, though, that Main Event still kinda sucks. You still move incredibly slowly, are forced to spam fire, and pretty much have to cancel it the moment they get behind cover.

Is being able to carry Main Event for 30 seconds worth this? Especially given that a good portion of those 30 seconds may be spent carrying a survivor to a hook, and slowly going towards a generator. I'm not so sure.

I think main event is garbage no matter what, but yeah I agree it's a nerd to an allready useless part of his power, tho his addon that they talked about that increases duration of Main event on knife hits is gonna be interesting

Just like how every other exhaustion perk gives you 3 seconds tops?

I can't say I agree with that , smashhit balanced , lithe and Sprint burst will probably get you 10-20 seconds on average depending on the map and potential longer

  • @rabldong said:

his add-ons combo (class photo + pill bottle before rework) was so strong. I think old freddy is comparable to spirit or blight.

No, boring asf to play and play against tho freddy rework is just a better clown

  • Coup de Grace: make it so it gets a token (can only save up to three at a time) when you hook a survivor or reverse it's incredibly pointless nerf

Oppression: as much as I love this perk, the cooldowm time totally kills and use it has

Hoarder: the fun part about it was nerfed (less rare items) and I honestly think it should not have a area limit, should also work when flashbangs are crafted

Appraisal: fun but I'd rather bring I item I want instead of a chance at decent one

Power struggle: just a waste of a perk slot (once a killer know you have it) you will never get to use it again , probably

No way out: most of the time survivors don't even notice it

Smashhit: lithe or balanced are just so much better , especially since pallet stuns don't work sometimes

Self-preservation: niche, only good for flashlight saves in my opinion, when a survivor gets down when ur close, it should give an additional effect (like no footstep noises)

Lethal persuer: whispers or even corrupt intervention works better in my opinion

Hysteria and eruption: to much setup for not enough value

Blastmine: fun but doesn't make much of a difference, mabye make it so a killer who kicks it loses some time to use pop or something.

Rookie spirit: I just don't see the use in this at all, tho it's probably the best gen tracking perk, if you know gen locations u won't need this

Bite the Bullet: also niche , nice that it covers other people's moans and groans , but the noise from healing rarely gets you slashed

Resurgence: second wind is my favorite perk, so this screws me over sometimes when other people use it, but most of the time you won't need it.

  • @WexlerWendigo said:

Blight actually has a very cool game mechanic, and has decent interaction in chase. However, I hate going against this killer because literally every Blight uses the same build.

Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer + BBQ/Devour rinse and repeat on every Blight. No other killer has such predictable perks when you load into a game with them. I get that against SWF it’s fair game, but against solo survivors, this is literally DBD on easy mode. Especially when you factor in Blight’s absurd recharge rates with his add ons, it leaves very little room for error, and using this combo turns him from a fairly challenging killer to use, to one of the easiest in the game. It just makes facing blight really dull, as you know exactly what you’re getting into.

I can’t be the only one who despises going against Blight for the aforementioned reasons.

I just wish they would actually get rid of j/z flicks, totally unfair that I use as much skill as I could to dodge a blight then they use an exploit to turn a corner that they shouldn't be able to.
