So as we know, clown is at the lower side of Killer Powers.

So ofc I have an idea, probably not the first time you're hearing this, but I have an idea for a buff.

So instead of giving him some crazy extra ability that makes him faster, or other things.

Just a minor buff that messes with the numbers a bit.

Clowns ability allows him to reduce survivor speed by 15% and allows him to cause survivors to always never fast vault while affected.

So, I was thinking... maybe up the reduced speed from 15% to 25% or even 30%

making it very deadly to get hit by his bottles...

ofc if anything feels too powerful. then lmk some ideas.

    This guy is on point:

    @White_Owl said:

His chase potential is already pretty high if you know how to use the gas. I don't think this change would improve him significantly.

Clown’s only real strength is the ability to end chases quickly, a buff on that side of his mechanics would be OP. He needs map pressure. Perhaps a clown car that lets him ride across the map with a 1 minute cooldown. Not the best idea, but you understand my point. He needs something for map pressure, not chase strength.

  • I agree the Wraith is great in my book. A “go to” killer if I want a guaranteed win. I do agree some add-on changes would be useful, but overall please don’t mess with Wraith.

An offering the the new map will help enormously!

I havn’t really considered this, with addons a trap can be activated anywhere in the hallways, thank you for the tip! Perhaps I’ll try Hawkins instead, I feel it’s a smaller map.

Edit: forgot to actually thank you, so thank you.

  • Perhaps the latency error. It’s possible they were angry that you successfully hit them from “so far away”. Not your fault, I dont condone

  • You never mentioned anything about the survivor side...why not try being the mouse? While it is incredibly easy, you may have more fun.

If you’re not having fun, than this isn’t a “game”.

I am curious..and bored so I want to try and make DS cater towards a certain side and not both.

DS currently is in a crisis of either being Anti-Momentum or Anti-tunnel, however I want the community to help me know if they want DS to be either Anti-Momentum or Anti-Tunnel

I want it to be both, as it is now. We all know DS wasn’t designed for anti-tunnels, hence why the original perk could be used before ever getting hooked. I would just like a reasonable nerf. Perhaps, only the obsession can use it. I’d even be content with a 30 second timer and 2 uses rather than 60 seconds with a single use.

  • I like it. I thought it’d be more fun to limit 1 perk per person. Example, only one player can use DS, only one player can use BT. I think it would be interesting to force a SWF team to be more tactical as a team rather than “We have 16 free second chances” (not always the case, but you all know what I’m talking about).

With this change, maybe 1 survivor brings a medic build, or a chase build, objective build, etc. The possibilities are nearly endless.

I hate noed like if u go up aganst a killer who camps, tunnels, u name it and u manage to get all gens done (at the cost of ur friend because they ran the killer the whole game) and your at the exit gate about to escape but nope noed just deletes all ur time and effort and the thing that annoys me the most If the perk noed gets a speed boost like why surely you should be slower for using the perk and overall its broken and everyone hates it yet the devs do absolutely nothing about it

Something HAS been done about it. Like many have already mentioned, cleanse totems...just do this as you encounter them, don’t wait until the gens are done and you learn the killer has NOED to make this an issue. Think about that one second, you can completely disable one of the killer’s perks!

Imagine if there was a special tree in the map that allowed a killer to attack it for 20 seconds that disabled DS or Adrenaline, killers would be doing this all day long.

Just be grateful that the one(ONE!) 2nd chance perk a killer has, has the ability to be totally negated by the other team. There’s not an option for the kiler to do this with the survivor’s many 2nd chance perks.

  • Looping isn’t designed for you to live forever, it’s to delay the inevitable hook to provide your team more time to do what they’re doing.

  • @Givemethegame said:

I'm starting to hate this game for a few reasons. First of all the game for killer is not fun. Every game I play, the first time I down someone 2 gens are done. Second of all you have to play with good perks if you even want to have a chance to win. At red ranks you literally have to bring your standard meta perks and nothing else, which brings me to my last reason. Finally, some killers can never be used at red ranks. What I mean by this is that if you play someone like clown, you are going to get demolished. This game isn't fun anymore and I'm seriously considering uninstalling. This is literally a rage simulator for me

Not true at all, I play both sides and when I play killer, I use them all. Sure, like many people there are killers I’m better at than others. But no game, regardless of whom I choose is ever annihilated. Weaker killers end up in draws often, some games I legit lose.

I’m sorry for your troubles as of late, but it just seems to me you need more practice.

So this is my tierlist taking into account Add-onless games, SWF, perkless performance, and red rank performance.

Now heres some general questions Ill answer

"Why is Huntress above Billy?" Well Billy has great map pressure but theres a lot of loops he just CANT counter without a forced M1 that The Huntress very easily can especially if shes a top tier Huntress. Also on indoor maps Billy's pressure is useless however Huntress's chase abilities can still be extremely viable if shes a good player.'

"Why is Legion above...everyone hes above." Well lets go over somethings Legion has that Micheal doesn't. 1. Map Pressure, Micheal has virtually none and is kind of just an M1 killer with a 90 second insta down ability however Legion can transverse the map while keeping everyone injured right off the bat if he's lucky/good. 2. Instadown, Since people don't heal against Legion I guess you can call what he has an 'instadown' as everyone is injured with little to no actual buildup like Micheal has. 3. Gen Pressure, Legion has a lot of this as he can take anyone out of the game for 10 seconds at a time which may not seem like much but it can be a pretty big difference especially when you compare it to Micheal Myer's who has no gen pressure.

"Why is Pig bottom tier?" Pig is a killer all about pure luck. To use her Gen Pressure tool which is the main focus of her power you have to hope you down multiple people as an M1 killer before gens pop and then you have to hope that they don't get it on their 1st or 2nd box. On top of that she doesn't have much in the way of chase tools, she has her ambush which is good if not for the lengthy cooldown which makes it easy for survivors to move onto a new area. She excels in killer favored maps and does poor on any other map.

Anyways this is my personal tierlist from what I've witnessed, its kinda basic but whatever what do you guys think :)?

Anytime someone makes a list like this, they usually are focused on how hard the player is to play as, or to play against (hopefully both). You will always have some that agree with your list, but seems everyone plays different...many that disagree. Example, it’s widely accepted that Doctor is a good killer, but I feel he’s too easy to outsmart, always different opinions so don’t let anyone (including me) change your perspective.

That being said...why is Spirit always placed with Nurse in SS on these lists? Yes, the Spirit is super strong. But reality is this:

Nurse: Michael Jordan, Spirit: LeBron James

Just because they’re both great does NOT put them on the same level.

    @IMhereRUN

    Here is the thing though.

I just don't agree that just because a killer chooses to play a certain way, or with a certain strategy where DS counters or at best slows down their momentum... is really bad. When the survivor obviously had to waste a perk slot and the killer is playing using the game's built-in mechanics already adding to their advantage.

The game for survivors is for all survivors to attempt to escape, not to give one up simply because mechanics like that exist at the excessiveness that they are allowed to be used.

I know brutha, but that will continue to exist whether DS is nerfed or not.

Is it really fair for the rest of us killers to still get 2 or 3 free DS strikes to our face without tunneling? Yes, we know the perk isn’t for anti-tunneling only, but a reasonable nerf should not be an issue.

Although it’s NOT only an anti-tunnel perk, most people that don’t want to see it nerfed use it for exactly that reason. A small nerf to promote balance in a game already heavily favoring survivors is not unreasonable. Heck, most killers would probably agree to have a variation of the perk where it has UNLIMITED USES, but is only active for 15/20/25 seconds. Now it counters tunneling still, without survivors getting free second chances from being unskilled or doing something stupid.

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1399568#Comment_1399568

    @IMhereRUN

Tell that to the red rank killers I face all the time that know how to play around BT and immediately slug a DS'er.

Camping can be a good strategy if you know how to play the game... and by that I mean play what many consider "dirty".

DS isn't perfect, but so are other killer built-in mechanics, some which DS directly counters.

I understand where you’re coming from, but you’re still wrong. Camping is only effective if the other 3 survivors let it be. If that’s the killer’s strategy, don’t feed them what they want. Survivors dictate the pace of the match, make the killer play your style. If he still persists on the camp approach, just choose a survivor to be the sacrificial lamb to die, and a free escape for 3 people.

  • Horrible idea! Let’s remove an entire health status from the game. Really!? If being slugged is such an issue for you, use Unbreakable or No Mither.

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1399520#Comment_1399520

    @IMhereRUN

Everyone can present all kinds of scenarios in which the perk can seem strong.

Just like there are scenarios where Camping/Tunneling/Slugging happens where it was not warranted and you only did it because it is a luxury and the game allows you to do it, not because you did anything special.

You’re missing a very solid point. While it is cheesy and doesn’t require much skill...camping and tunneling are NOT strong. In fact, it’s EXACTLY the opposite, it’s a way to guarantee the killer to lose. So having a super strong counter to something very weak is an act of lunacy.

  • Firstly, counter them. If borrowed time is a problem for you, than you’re playing stupid. If there’s an idiot survivor sprinting for the hook, hit them...now they’re injured, after their teammate gets unhooked...hit the rescuer again...now hook them. They dorks just gave you a free hook, take it! Now, if you have no other survivors to chase or gens to patrol, the recently rescued survivor didn’t go far, by the time you reach back up to them their BT is over with.

As for DS, yes...we all know this is a problem, it’s been reworked several times, just deal with it for now or keep them slugged.

SelfCare!?!? Self Care, really? Self care works out to the killer’s benefit, not the survivors’. It takes twice as long for a survivor ti self care themself instead of a teammate healing...they are giving you more time, the longer a match goes, the more it favors killer.

  • @Munqaxus said:

All you have to do to get DS nerfed is to get the Devs to fix Killers tunneling and camping. That's literally all you have to do and DS will be nerfed.

I see a need for the perk to remain, but your argument makes zero sense. Yes, it’s a great perk for countering tunneling. However, it’s still great to use while NOT countering tunneling.

Bare in mind, a T3 DS has a 1 minute activation...one minute!! All 5 gens can be repaired in less than 5 minutes. This means, if all 4 survivors are using DS, the killer has only 1 minute of play where he/she doesn’t have to worry about DS.

Another example: Gens are done, killer has to recover while in endgame. Everyone’s by one exit. The killer camps, survivors take turns trading hooks on a hook very close to the exit...this can activate DS for all players. Now, the killer can watch them crawl out the exit, or pick them up to eat a DS and the only chance a killer would have here is if the muffin misses the skill check....everyone escapes again.

Now, not all games are gen rushed...a lot, but not all. So let’s look at another scenario. Let’s be clear, 1 minute is a LONG time. You can get unhook...the killer goes after a teammate...hooks them. Go after ANOTHER teammate, hooks them. Goes after you, hooks...NOPE, you still have DS.

Let’s be clear about one specific point, YES, DS is a valuable tool for countering tunneling. However, the majority of the time this perk is an effect, it is being used as a free second chance that is NOT countering tunneling.

  • No, failing the primary objective of the game is a loss to me. Hatching out before gen completion is me surrendering the game, escaped yes...but still lost, admission of defeat.

No Whispers tells you a survivor is within 32 meters in a 360 degree area of you. Discordance let's you immediately apply pressure by getting into a chase with one of 2 people within moments of the game. With BBQ you then proceed to bounce back and forth a lot.

Whispers will tell you if there in the general area of the gen or if they remained in that area. Which invalidates Surveillance because whispers tells you if they are still there. Why would you run Surveillance when it contradicts a stronger perk that is universally better. I would rather get Into a chase ASAP then waste my time pretending that kicking a gen to trigger surveillance will help when Whispers already does that.

If whispers triggers at a gen, it’s more than enough. Maybe they’re not on it, guess where they’ll be if you leave the area briefly...that’s right, the gen! It’s a matter of preference.

Mathematically, gens are done faster if 4 survivors are on 4 different gens, a mediocre survivor knows this...not saying Discordance wouldn’t be useful, sometimes people want co-op BP. But if younare going to use Discordance, don’t chase 1...that’s dumb. Injure them and let them run away, then go after the other for more pressure. If you only use Discordance to trigger 1 chase...the other survivor(s) is just going to hop on the gen anyway while you chase the other. Whispers will also help you patrol exit gates in the endgame or help find the last survivor looking for hatch....so many uses. Discordance, however, is a 1 trick pony.

  • @Liruliniel said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1398273#Comment_1398273

I would change Surveillance for Discordance. The early game info off of it with Spirit is unparalleled.

Whispers can tell you if they’re on it, Discordance only tells you if multiple people are on it.

  • Ruin: slows gen progress, doesn’t need cleansed but gens go faster if it is.

Devour Hope: Super strong, allows 1 hit downs, allows Moris, must be cleansed.

Haunted Ground: provides exposed status, normally paired with another hex...but short duration, no real threat.

Third Seal: provides blindness effect, doesn’t need to be cleansed.

NOED: provides exposed, but only after all gens have been completed. Endgame use only, doesn’t need cleansed but entire team escaping odds are improved if it is.

Huntress Lullably: changes sound cues on skill checks, does not need cleansed.

Retribution: oddly only affects people that are cleansing, provides Oblivious, doesn’t need cleansed.

Thrill of the Hunt: slows cleansing speed, alerts killer to hex totems being cleansed. Does not need cleansed.

Only 3 of these may present a serious challenge to a survivor’s gameplay. And like I mentioned, small game already works perfectly...it tells you where totems are (and bear traps, dream snares, hag traps)

  • Totems are a very small role in the game, perhaps even why the perk was entitled “Small Game”. The perk works as intended just fine, no need for any buffs or nerfs in my book.

  • @Soulslayer618 said:

if BHVR was to add new iridescent rarity items/offerings to the game what would you want and how would you want them to work?

    my personal ideas:

    survivor

    • golden toolbox - no addons affect it and it works like old brand new part where you get constant skill checks till you finish the gen but after that poof its gone
    • Dark light - a flashlight formed by the entity, cant blind but can burn any killer

    killer

    • Rift token (universal addon) - a cooldown of X amount of time but can swing at a wall to go through it like making a hole which will close up after another set amount of time
    • Broken hook (offering) - if a hook has been broken its protected and cant be broken again

Golden toolbox: I vote no, gens are too quick already.

Dark Light: cool concept, but burning characters that normally can’t be burned, just makes this a a guaranteed blind. I know you said it doesn’t blind, but when burned, a killer is stunned...same diff except they can still see. No on this one.

Rift token: very cool idea indeed, I think would be better as a killer’s power in a future DLC down the line. We just got a huge map re-work update and I think most maps are pretty reasonable now, no need for an offering (this would have to be an offering, not an add-on as it doesn’t affect power) to change the map’s RNG. No on this one.

Broken hook: I don’t mind this, but if a survivor is sacrificed on the hook, that hook still needs to be destroyed permanently. I do think it’s a waste as hook repairs are done fairly quickly already, so I am indifferent to this one.

I recently got Dead By Daylight last February, it was recommended by a good friend of mine. I don't really like multiplayer games but my favorite thriller character: Michael Myers was in it so I gave it a try, I bought the base game on Playstation 4 with Michael and Plague as well.

I soon realised that it wasn't really as fun to play as Killer like those skilled streamers, I am always Rank 12 but I get put against Rank 1s quite often. I tried to play a bit of survivors but I find it kinda boring, I also dislike relying on other players.

    I bought a total of 8 DLC chapters and I don't why I am supporting a game I don't really enjoy.

I encounter a different bug everyday, today my Oni's blood furry refused to activate despite me desperately spamming L1 and ofcourse I was against 3 red ranks 2-3 despite being Rank 12 and not that skilled.

I think DBD is overrated and the community is very toxic, all I want to do is delete the game and accept that I wasted so much money on it.

The devs don't really seem to give a ######### about balance and matchmaking as long the bigger side (survivors) are happy.

Should I stop playing and wait until they improve matchmaking or at least nerf overpowered survivor perks?

Survivor side is MUCH easier. You have a 75% chance of winning by simply choosing to play as survivor, I would recommend trying that until you hone your craft. You CAN become a better killer from playing as survivor, it will help you learn what routes survivors may run or actions they may perform. Hope to see you again.

Yep you assumed right: one of us has played the game more and was rank 15.

Ok my mistake, I was under the impression from your comments that all 3 of you were playing for the 1st time. Rank doesn’t mean skill, and it’s much worse on the killer side. A 15+ killer VS res survivors (happens often) is absolute carnage. The game is constantly being developed and updated so I have faith the matchmaking issues will be resolved. But for now, it is what it is.

  • Spirit is a super strong killer, you don’t need aura reading with her, just ears (and a headset if you want to clearly hear uninjured survivors).

However if you’re new and just trying stuff out, I’d try this:

    Surveillance/BBQ/Whispers/Nurse’s Calling.

Whispers doesn’t show auras, but it does tell you when a survivor is within range of whatever tier Whispers you have. Surveillance will show you any generator that someone gets on if you’ve kicked it to make it regress. BBQ will show auras after hooks so you can get info on what gen(s) to patrol next or chase to commit to, and Nurse’s will reveal auras of anyone healing within the distance of whatever tier your perk is. I focused on perks you said you already have, and Whispers is not a teachable so anyone can obtain it free.

Tonight, we were 3 friends in a party chat and one said: ''Hey why don't we give DbD a shot'' since it's on gamepass.

So we go ahead, download the game and start playing.

6 games later, we decided to leave the game.

Why? Well the matchmaking is AWFUL. We are all ranked above 15 and we ended up playing against 1-3 ranked killers like 4 times. This makes the game so unbalanced and not fun at all.

The other games, our fourth partner was leaving at the really beginning of the round. Did he see something he didn't like and knew the game was lost on the get go?

So we left the game and it's already uninstalled because apparently this is Dead by Daylight experience

Interesting how you mentioned you were all above 15. Why not say we’re all above 16 or 17? I have to assume you said 15, because one if you is at least 15...can’t get from 20 to 15 in 6 games that you said you played. Sorry for the matchmaking, but for what it’s worth, red rank killers typically play “more fair” than lower killers, hope to see you again.

  • Again, you’re judging a playstyle from your opponent. I admit, he can definitely tunnel better. But this isn’t Dorito Head’s fault, it’s the player using him, please try to acknowledge that not everyone plays the same.

I play PC and PS4, have for almost the entirety of DBD’s duration. Trust me when I say, although he’s very much a viable killer, his power is the absolute easiest to counter aside from bear traps or Hag traps in an indoor map. Even tunneling, a very defeatable killer.

  • I don’t like it. It just seems like a way to get a 4k by 1 hooking everyone. A victory on paper, but the de-pip not worth it.

Edit: correction, it would be a safety pip

So basically get on the game and play for about a minute before sitting there and dying. What a lovely gaming system sounds like a lot of fun.

I know it’s not fun, I never said it was. You think a killer face camping 1 guy all game and then the game ends is having fun? It’s not illegal, it never will be illegal, so just punish the killer by doing gens and leaving. Regardless what people think, camping doesn’t happen as much as people think it does. Do what you can, move onto next game.

  • The things you’ve disliked have nothing to do with Pyramid Head, it is the player using him...not everyone plays like this.

This is very common knowledge, but if a killer chooses to face camp, let that player be the sacrificial lamb for the team and die while the other 3 rush gens and get out.

  • Why are you reposting a discussion you just argued a few moments ago in another topic? How many drinks did you have? No point flooding the forums my friend, I’m sorry for the anguish you’ve encountered, but you won’t get much sympathy like this.

Thank you for the advice, have seen that nurse is very very difficult. Does that mean it is probably good to practice it in the low levels where I don't need to worry about rank as much?

No way. The only thing you can learn about Nurse, is the muscle memory for blinks to cover the distance you’re aiming for. You first have to be good as playing killer in general.

Learning to blink where you want isn’t too difficult, she’s a mind game killer. You have to predict where the survivor will be first, than judge distance for the blink. Problem is, many people play different than others. Your predictions will almost be different everytime for each of the 4 survivors. Learning her is hard, but not too hard. The real challenge is learning the survivors you’re playing, and you have to re-learn it 4x a game, and that knowledge resets every game. I would recommend learning her last.

I made it like that because everyone compares him to huntress and pointing out he’s slower at downing then her so I made that change to make him just as good as the huntress

I understood your reasoning my friend. But try to understand mine, with the changes you have suggested, guaranteeing a health slate every shot, we should just get rid of reeling totally, just shoot a hollowpoint instead causing the removal of one health slate, how would that NOT be different from Huntress?

  • @Mr_executioner said:

Here’s some changes that would make deathslinger viable

-increase chain range from 18m to 24m

-if a injured survivor breaks the chain they go into the dying state(if they have deep wounds they will not go into the dying state)

    -make reload speed 2.00s

-make cooldown for missed shots 1.25s For his ultra rare’s here’s how they could be

-iridescent coin reduced the requirement to instadown from 15m to 12m

-hellshire iron=chain has infinite range and it tremendously increases the charges to break it. Or the Redeemer starts with 2 bullets, considerably increases reload time

I agree with this user’s thread:

    @NuclearBurrito said:

Not sure all of that's necessary. Particular the dying state thing.

The numbers changes are all fine. But instead of it downing Survivors on chain break, I'd increase the reel speed significantly.

Some changes are ok, the dying state for a survivor breaking a chain? That’s a SuperBuff and nothing I could support. A survivor shouldn’t be punished to dying state for you failing to successfully reel. If this were the case, survivors will ALWAYS be injured or dying from every successful shot, regardless if they break free or not. Adding this change would defeat the purpose of reeling totally, and might as well remove that from his power.

  • 90% of the flaws you listed can be countered by Corrupt Intervention. While only a mediocre perk in general, it is GOD tier on Trapper if you’re playing strategically (sounds like you are). There are more aggressive playstyle builds for Trapper from various streamers, I would suggest Otzdarva, as he’s probably played Trapper longer than anyone (just speculating, don’t quote me).

Edit: Dont commit to chases you’re ill-equipped to handle, classic “bait” manuever, it’s a survivor trying to ruin your strategy and you’re letting them for falling for it. While Corrupt only blocks 3 gens, 4 is much easier to patrol early game for your “set-up” than 7.

  • I think he’s a great survivor player, but that doesn’t take much. His juking ability while in a deadzone with no safe loop option are EXTREMELY good, but these tactics won’t work against a killer that’s only good, don’t have to be great.

While I totally respect his in-game ability, I believe he’s inadvertedly teaching others how to lose chases on purpose. His looping is good, if you’re a fan, please pay attention to that part of his content and ignore the rest if you’re attempting to win. Juking can be very fun though, although not tactical, but if you like doing that to enjoy your gaming experience, please don’t let my comments turn you away.

I just had a match where every player but me used one and my score was 24K and I earned 30BP because it included my 75% boldness offering. I got nothing extra for any of the gateus used. Why are people still using them when they don’t work? I’m waiting for the fix. This is PS4. I dunno if it’s the same with PC and Xbox.

The bug, is with the “stacks” part of the offering description.

This means, if a player brings a cake, they will get 140% bonus BP, but only for themselves. If you bring a cake, you get that BP. If you bring Party Streamers or Escape Cake and someone else brings a cake, you still only get the bonus from your own offering.

I understand why to ask “why everyone using these?”, but they’re only 3k BP each, that’s 1,000 BP discount from any other yellow offering or add-on, and they appear very often in the web, so not much reason not to use them, you’ll still have plenty stored up.

did a YT challenge for getting from Rank 20 to Rank 1 with no perks. When you get higher in rank, this is obvious...but stronger tier killers are almost required to win.

Freddy is one of the few that has such strong abilities that you can play him at red rank constantly with no build at all (including add-ons), and still be a major threat.

But if you really want specific examples, we need to know a bit about your playstyle and strategy. You looking for injury builds similar to Legion? Gen-Protecting? Quick chase ending?

I am new to DBD and I am still deciding which killer I should main.

I'm not really sure if this killer is good or not and I have only played it once.

I kinda like suprising people on gens and I like to play pretty steathily. Just want to know what are your thoughts on the wraith???

Being new to the game, any killer will be strong for you because (most of the time), you’ll be facing inexperienced people. The game is very odd both sides. Aside from some small breathing/injured noises characters make, all survivors are equal. However, every killer is different, they all have strengths and weaknesses, some more than others.

If you’re playing in high or mid ranks (1-9), you HAVE to play your strengths or you’ll lose. For Wraith, his biggest strength is the ability to get the first hit. Now this is easily counterable by survivor perks, some of them (like Spine Chill) are extremely popular in loadouts of people you’ll be facing. In my experience, it’s more effective to hit, re-cloak, and go hit someone else. You won’t want to chase down survivors, you want to catch them off guard.

IMO, don’t “main” anything, try them all. Learning different playstyles with different abilities will improve your performance. Heck, the experience you gain from playing survivor even makes you a better killer, easier to predict routes and actions. Welcome to the community, I apologize in advance for any toxicity you may encounter, please let it roll off your shoulder and just do whatever you want in your attempt to have fun playing the game!

  • A player’s loadout doesn’t make them toxic. If you’re basing this all on free 2nd chances, then perhaps our definitions of “toxic”’are different.

Bro I did not create this post to support toxicity, I just looking for opinions man, I don't like toxicity.

lol. I cannot be the only one to see the irony here, knew I should’ve just kept quiet as this topic isn’t worthy of a response.

  • What you want the Devs to do? Make perhaps the weakest killer more weak? lol.

He face camping ya? Oh well, stay on that hook as long as possible and hopefully your team mates rush gens. Take one for the team.

  • Give it a few days, it’ll die down. With PyramidHead being released less than 24 hours ago for console, many people are hitting him up.

  • While not illegal, I wouldn’t support toxic playstyle for either side...ya ruining the game I love and making our queues longer.

  • SC tells you the killer is looking your direction and 32m away or closer...nothing else. If you incorrectly predict which direction the killer is approaching from (if they’re even going after you, could be another person), you can find yourself outpositioned and hit.

  • A. As many people already mentioned, just open the gate yourself...now the survivors have to make haste.

    B. Even if game is “hostage”, that’s more chases, more hits, more points for you...they’re giving you a free chance to still win, capitalize on it.

Balanced? Maybe vs a full solo team. If you are playing against a swf one person needs to see where you placed your trap and the whole team will know there is a trap.

He also should start with all of his traps and then pick them up, you lost 2 gens in the early game bcs you need to set a trap->find another one->set it->find another one and so on

I understand your point of view to an extent. However, your scenario insists that it must be a SWF group AND that someone is running OoO. The same arguments could be given for the Hag. Seems to me you should be lobbying more for an OoO nerf rather than a Trapper buff...I’m sure most killers would support you.

  • I play killer mostly. We all know killer is the weaker side, but your arguments are very valid and I support you for the sake of game balance.
