Why? I am not saying nerf Blight into ground. Just asking make him fair. He is pretty busted atm.
But he’s really not? He has 2 addons that are OP. You could even make speed not stack. But the rest of him is completely fair.
The changes you’ve talked about would drive many people to wesker and nurse. Die hard mains such as myself would stick, but many wouldn’t.
You say to remove the hugtech, by far the most FUN part of his gameplay, while maintaining counterplay. I’ve seen you mention reducing his speed to 4.4. Again would destroy blight for new / average players, leading to more frequent weskers and nurse.

It's okey to fix his all bugs. I don't wanna buggy things in game. If this makes him even stronger, then we will ask more nerfs.
So then all you’ll see is wesker and nurse? What then?
-
I’m not going to call one side easier than the other. They both have their cons.
I have to sweat much more in killer to win, but I still win the vast majority of my games.
I don’t win as much on survivor, but it’s much more chill. I can sit on gens and eat a snack, and just relax. Can’t do that on killer.
-
You just have to look down to counter it. Doesn’t work well against blight if you know that. Can’t do much for billy.

It's not his kit, devs said it's not intended.
How long ago was that? I think it’s time to accept it.
And like I’ve told you before, Hug tech is the most counterable thing in his kit.
If they “fix” hug tech, they will ultimately have to fix his collision, and then you REALLY won’t like blight. Bump logic is far superior, when collision grants it.
-
He’s just weak against any semi decent team.

If hug tech can't be fixed, then it should be added to his kit. But then his base-kit should be nerfed a bit as well. Nothing big ofcourse. But he should feel fair.
It pretty much is his kit. His base kit does not need changing.

Spin spin spin.

This is the equivalent of me posting a screenshot of a 0k with blight and saying “in case y’all still thought blight was a strong killer….”
-
Blight, nea, and almost wesker.
-
Considering a macro is between your mouse / keyboard software and your mouse / keyboard, I wouldn’t imagine so. It’s not changing anything in the game.

Stop with the MMR argument already. There basically is only two MMR brackets in DBD, the beginner one and the 200+ hours playtime one.
Most definitely not true. I have seen the various levels of MMR. I have a buddy that has 4500 hours and gets the easiest killers I’ve ever seen because they die most of their games.

Now on to Blight in a wesker forum? lol
Alc ring is fine. I don't see the fuss. If you assume they have it, its easy to bait the oncoming rush.
C33... eh. I dont care either way.
Remove these things and he's basically... a bland killer.
I still need to find a great Blight. The ones who have reached out have canceled or failed.
Any takers? :)
I’m waiting. I’ll happily show you a great blight. I added you on steam.

I've spent most of this event playing survivor and every single game it's been sweaty nurses, sweaty Blights and sweaty Weskers. I don't mind the camping and tunnelling so much because I know gens are flying but it's the slugging that does it for me.
From here on in for the remainder of this event I'll only be bringing the following offerings:
- Garden of Joy
- The Game
I'm not wasting my cakes on BS
Jokes on you because blight smacks on both those maps. Lol

I can tell... because of your name, of course.
Since you main Blight, do you have any advice for a Billy main trying to learn Blight?
Ive mostly been using Vigo's Journal and Blighted Crow when I play them.
I’m quite poop at billy if I’m honest, so I can’t give you much tips on billy to blight. But the biggest thing is just stick with him. He’s all practice, and there’s always new moves to learn.
Learn the Shoulder flick first.

Blight saved DBD for me. I probably wouldn’t play DBD without blight.

Problem is not solved. Real solution is nerfing him. Making him balanced and fair for both sides.
The vast majority love wesker. I’ve seen him called the poster child of well designed and balanced killers on here more times than I can count.
There is no need to nerf wesker. Maybe you need to get better at looping him.

I am tired to see high prestiged Blights. I don't know why people hates Wesker that much. He is much better than busted killer Blight.
Lower your mmr. Problem solved.

I have to hit the tab button when I hook / get hooked. It’s way too ear piercing on some of the female survivors.
-
Because I’m a good blight.
“touch grass”
“go outside”
“sweat lord” (even tho I’m literally just playing casual)
The funniest is when they tell me how bad I am after wrecking the team, nobody lasting more than 15 seconds in chase.
Edit - somebody yesterday told me I have the personality of a wet fish because I wouldn’t farm. That one made me laugh.

alr, I think I saw one of your posts saying this before, maybe I'll try this out.
Combined with his passive slowdown, they hardly touch gens given you can consistently land his m2 in chase.
-
I love the killer role mostly because I have to rely only on myself for the outcome of the match. I do still play survivor but I do not have as much fun.
I love Blight specifically because of his skill ceiling and the amount of interaction in his power. He honestly saved DBD for me. There’s not quite another killer like him. The fun in his gameplay is second to none, and I probably wouldn’t play DBD much anymore if it wasn’t for blight. I come off as sweaty, but I try to play as nice as possible (no camping, no tunneling, no BM) as I know blight can be overwhelming / frustrating to play against.
I also love some of the interactions that come with some of the survivors I’ll play. I’ll land a really spicy 180 and they’ll stop for a second and give me nodders, almost to give me props for the hit, only to continue the chase. I love it.
I’ll edit if more comes to mind.

I'm assuming you play your Blight with a mouse so I have questions.
How is he to play on the venerable Swamp realm? I seem to remember there being lots of awful slides all over those maps, and the sloped borders along the edges messed with me on controller too. But it's been a while since I played Blight.
Yea I’m not a fan of the swamp maps. The collision is quite poop.
@nars said:
It comes with experience. Typically, anything thats a flat surface and is as tall as your camera can be bumped. Anything thats really lumpy or round or really short you'll probably slide off of. Hes really disorienting at first because you have to flick back to the survivor to rush after a bump, but you get used to it. Hes really snnoying on ormond though, slides off of like... everything.
This isn’t necessarily true. The collision is not consistent. Some small objects are sticky, and some aren’t. Some trees have collision, others don’t.

Yeah after my first game I got a 4K lol, but I found that your completely right, my first game was on Yamkia estate (probably butchered that) and learning how to use his ability was really difficult, but after a few other games on various other maps (with better hitboxes) when I got Yamkia again it wasn't as hard and when I slid off of stuff instead of loosing my ability, I figured out that I needed to just hit something and try to hit the survivor instead of trying to follow through. (Could have also just been a different version of it witch was better for me lol) but I also got really lucky on that game and was able to kill two of them basically before a gen even popped, (got them on second hook) after two gens popped I just put them on a hook and was able to kill them. After that it was pretty easy to find the remaining two cus of nowhere to hide, so I probably just got really lucky with that one lol
Yamaoka is BY FARRRR my least favorite map on blight. And for some reason I have been getting it overrrrr and over. The map prevention system is obviously NOT working.

Speak for yourself. I rarely lose with wesker. He is insanely strong when you really put the time in.
-
As a blight main, I sympathize. His collision is so funky and always changing. There are many maps that make his power borderline unusable.
I hope you can still through and learn him, because when he’s fun, he’s really fun. But when he’s bad, he’s really bad and it’s unfun.

I was still working on prestiging a lot of my newer characters when the event started and I didn’t even think to save BP to get cakes for all the others. Now I have some with 20+ and others with none. I’m trying to balance it out so my others have some to play but honestly… should I have to? If I wanted to save them and not use them literally every match that’s my decision to make. And when I play killer I don’t use any offering because I never started leveling them so I never have any to burn. Why are people so entitled to think they should be able to choose if and what offering another player brings just because it’s the anniversary?
Do what you want, but then don’t complain when killers play scummy, or people DC loading in, or you even get sandbagged in game for not bringing one.
The vast majority of players are all bringing one every match, so yea, it’s understandable to be annoyed when a minority of people don’t bring one or bring a cake/pudding in hopes to save their event cakes and mooch off the others.

I don't understand why killers want to bring Black Wards or Petrified Oaks... Same goes for survivors wanting to bring low BP offerings and White Wards.
One singular Terrormisu costs 3k BP, and it's not a personal offering. Where's the logic in not bringing it, especially during the event?
Now if we could do something about those greedy rats with Survivor Pudding/Escape Cakes....
Yea I don’t understand it either. I’ve burned one every single match and still have HUNDREDS of them.
-
Bring a terromisu and that won’t happen. 🤷🏻♂️
-
*Killer uses their power as intended*
Survivors - “hE’S aBuSiNg!!!”
-
They made it on purpose, and there is even an addon to increase the passive phasing.
-
Just get blight. C:
-
I mean, it’s not really abuse. He’s just using the event stuff..
-
Yea it’s pretty ridiculous I’m seeing people bring regular cakes and puddings. I bring one every single match and I still have 100’s of them. I make many many more than I burn.

Ok good point. I just think that Blight should not be able to rush 7 times. Like Nurse should not have more than 2 blinks.
At a certain point there is not much you can do anymore, especially combined with Crow.
I understand. Once you know it’s adrenal vile, you just have to play a little different. The blight cannot turn for nothing during rushes, but can flick further than normal due to the increased look angle (which sets up for a flick)
-
I played a good bit of SWF last night with my wife and friends (not a sweaty SWF by any means).
It was probably one of the worst nights of survivor we’ve had in awhile. It was non - stop tunneling, slugging, camping, hitting on hook, etc.
I tend to follow the “play how you like to play against” theme when I play killer. I can’t imagine playing like that constantly.

Exactly what I thought. Is nurse the strongest killer in the game? Yes. Has Blight a handful of very questionable addons? Yes. Is Wesker popular because he is fun for both sides? Yes.
I do think that Blight needs his addons looked at. I don't play Blight, but I know that he has about 5 addons which are op or borderline op (Ring, C33, Adre Vial, Iri Tag and maybe Crow/Rat if I am correct). If they change those, he is fine. You are a blight main. What do you think?
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3462793#Comment_3462793
Probably they will come with something like "he can do everything" (inbuilt slowdown, info, mobility, chase and "stealth") or that his power has ######### hitboxes or similar. Or they faced someone who can so the funny stuff XD.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3462792#Comment_3462792
He just gets played a lot now because he was killswitched for 10 days. And people say the same now as they said when he released. That he is op because he has a high pickrate. There is nothing wrong with him. Some people just want easy games.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3462707#Comment_3462707
So only because I like how a certain killer plays and play them myself I am a bad person if said killer is on the stronger end? So you are saying I should feel bad if I don't play Clown or Trapper or Myers every match to get stomped by tbagging survivors making fun of me?
Sorry, I'd like to keep my sanity.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3462686#Comment_3462686
How many hrs do you have? Are you a survivor main? Do you play those killers yourself? Playing these killers yourself would show you a lot about how they work and how you can counter them. Wesker for example has tons of counterplay.
Blight has two addons, Ring and C33 that are bittt strong. Ring is bittersweet for me because I know that you have to be good at blight to get value… but I’m able to end chases in 10 seconds consistently with it. C33 requires zero skill to get insane value from.
I do not think the others need changing.
Adren vial completely changes the way blight has to be played, and you pretty much have to learn his rushes again with it.
Iri tag is by far the hardest addon in the game out of any killer to get consistent value with. You have to have an absurd amount of skill and game knowledge to pull iri tag hits that aren’t random. I can’t remember the last time I saw an iri tag blight that actually got value.
Speed addons can be really strong… but they are also severely punishing, especially with the way collision is right now. You build your speed up chasing a survivor, and you slide off one thing… and you rocket away from them, and you lose 20-30 seconds.
-
Diablo 4.
Obvi Lilith would be a killer.
-
You don’t have to escape. Just make it to an exit open, or hatch. You can be the last one sacrificed and still get a mask, or multiple survivors can if they are sacrificed at the same time.
Yes, killer is easier to get the rewards, but survivor isn’t that bad. I think it took me 13 games to get all of them done.
Edit - I do agree, it should be an acquired thing like last event where you had to fill up the thingy all the way to get a reward either way.

they made nurse not newbie friendly. basically only people playing nurse were people that played nurse regularly before and were already good at her. I kinda miss playing starstruck nurse. that was so much fun to play. just massive high-action chaos. Its funny because as soon as trickster came out, I started using that build in secret, then I kinda said it was best build for nurse then other people started using it and you started see it in your average soloq survivor games. after that dev awhile they nerfed it. Nurse feels too slow paced for me now. I prefer more fast-paced blight. At least in my experience when playing nurse in soloq, she does not feel that threatening anymore. she feels a bit like nerfed spirit where people say she's super strong but I do not see her as super strong. People say same thing about spirit. Super strong character but I don't feel intimated by spirit.
I agree. Nurse isn’t all that crazy anymore. I haven’t seen a really good nurse in forever.

Wesker is literally one of the most balanced killers in the game but okay. Also the Nurse nerf would be way too much, Blight I agree should be 4.4, other than that your takes are bad.
there’s no reason for blight to be 4.4

I lost one game today on my blight. Superrrr good p400 SWF. Brought me to mac M with BNP’s. Won everything else besides that.
