this proves she's weak and needs a buff.
Weak? She is arguably one of the most op killer in the game and that's a fact
-
I agree hitboxes are ######### ridiculous nothing like getting hit 35 meters away from the killer. Smh.😑

It works just the same if you're actually being tunnelled.
If you're repairing a gen or cleansing a totem etc you aren't being tunnelled so you shouldn't have an anti tunnel perk.
The ds nerf is perfect now because it actually does what it's suppose to do.
But if you have ds at the start of the match and you spawned next to a gen and repair it does ds turn off?
-
Nah you should have thought about your actions😐
-
I dont get it at all if ds will get nerfed then how is it gonna be used
-
@Phasmamain said:
Apparently the devs use it to record data for killers/maps and perks
I barely even use it if not at all so i have no idea how this system is used i only used it like 4-5 times in all my dbd games

@Brokenbones said:
Just wanna say that I slug.
It's effective, it buys you so much needed time and it keeps survivors busy
But it's also really bloody annoying, that's why unbreakable is meta
Slugging is very annoying too but face camping is infuriating imo
-
Yup i have it too. Devs how long is it gonna take to fix that?

"wahh can't tbag at exit gates or run circles around maniac with cweavew"
No i never tbag or run in circles i play killer just as much as I play survivor and i think noed needs a nerf just the ability of being faster than normal and being able to insta down is op and should probably need a nerf or rework

Dcing on first hook doesn't bother me as much as killer, but bothers me much more as survivor.
Dcong on last hook doesn't bother me as survivor, but is super frustrating as killer. Dcong on last hook especially should give players a ban and repeat offenders long bans and if it continues to happen permanently banned imo.
How is it frustrating as a killer that someone dc on 3rd hook

If my big boy jason gets added to dbd it will be the first dlc i'll buy

Actually I'm gonna play devil's advocate here.
I once did this,but not because of rage.
I knew the killer had pop and they had one gen left to do.
I didn't want to give him pop, so I DC'd just before I got hooked to ensure that this killer (who had tried to tunnel me out the game , there was 4 survivors left at this point but I was on death hook).
I reckon he could've gotten a 2k if I hadn't dc'd or maybe even more. But they finished the gen quickly and got out(even though he managed to kick it, he didn't get pop off on it) and so they just finished it.
I lost bp, sure. But I got my team a w. That's what mattered to me then.
Its still a ######### move to do but hey if the team survived cuz of your dc then good for you i would've stayed
-
@Yords said:
It is still lame to do, the time a killer could hook that last person means that a generator (probably the last one) could be finished before the killer goes straight to it, but a DC will just immediately rob you of extra time. It isn't as bad, but still sort of lame.
Im talking about when a survivor dcs on 3rd hook why do they dc at this point?
-
-
I wouldnt say he's op but definitely a solid killer

Clearly a survivor main. Noed is easy to counter, one of the easiest "strong perks" to counter
Noed is pretty unbalanced and i play both survivor and killer and unlimited tier 3 myers is no different from noed they both need either a massive nerf or a rework
-
Noed=free win for killer so i want this perk nerfed to the ground hard
-
@Dizzy1096 said:
This would be amazing! back to the queue you go Blendy.
See? kicking a player because someone is blendette is effectively abusing the vote kick system
-
Considering how immature and toxic the dbd community is, nah it wont work it will be severely abused.
For example:
Killer can kick you for bringing a flashlight. Abuse
Killer can kick you for sabotaging hooks. Abuse
Killer can kick you for looping. Abuse
Survivor kicks randoms. Abuse
Survivor kicks killer because they are salty. Abuse
Survivor kicks killer who are camping,tunneling,face camping. Abuse
So that's gonna be a hard NO
-
@DetailedDetriment said:
Considering the game can't tell the difference between players instantly losing connection and entering the menu to leave the game, I don't think this would ever work. You can't ban survivors who die on first hook without banning people who are just insane in a chase and get 1 hooked at the end of the match.
I absolutely agree

Well 50% seems a little light, but again, it's all situational.
Well how about 60%

@Johnny_XMan said:
I disagree. If killers can slug for the 4k, survivors should have the ability to "suicide" to give someone else hatch.

You do realize that I am speaking purely from the perspective of a Survivor, right? Or do you think I was speaking as a Killer when I was face-camped for almost two whole minutes?
Yes and you as the ######### killer how does it affect you?
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2003389#Comment_2003389
I don't even suicide for being face-camped. I was recently face-camped for almost two whole minutes at the start of the match and managed to escape because my teammates pressured gens enough to call the Killer's bluff and get them to leave long enough for the save.
But we are not other people. There are other people who do DC to ragequit. There are other people who do hook suicide to ragequit. Those people screw their teammates over badly. Not even the best of gen-rushing can save the team at that point unless the skillcap between the remaining Survivors and the Killers is massive. Those ragequitters are the ones who need to be punished.
Why the ######### does it ######### matter? are you butthurt because you dont get the satisfaction of taunting the survivor on hook?
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2003382#Comment_2003382
Same reason why you would DC: You're ragequitting.
The only reasons as to why i would suicide on hook is if i get face camped or something irl came up otherwise i dont suicide
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2003377#Comment_2003377
Oh, I'm not talking about face-camping. I'm talking about Survivors who get downed quickly at the beginning of the trial and instantly hook suicide even if the Killer doesn't camp.
At this point yeah i dont know why you would suicide on hook if you get downed early
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2003374#Comment_2003374
Cool, so let's punish hook suicides in the same way as DC's. ;)
I cant blame survivors for that if they get face camped you know i suicided couple of times against a brain dead face camper
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2003370#Comment_2003370
So there is no difference to a teammate, then?
Well i dont see a difference if someone dies on hook they wouldn't have survived anyways so why bother complaining they are already dead. get over it.
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2003368#Comment_2003368
You didn't answer my question.
It does suck a bit for the survivor but it just is what it is. There ya go i answered your question.

Sorry, let me clarify since I was a little vague there.
What's the difference to a teammate?
They still have a chance to finish gens and get out you just gotta gen rush if they sucide on first hook i would care less if a survivor suicide on hook on both sides
-
@RepostRiposte said:

The difference in points gained for killer is negligible assuming they would DC on hook anyways and why do the DC'ers points matter? They're the ones being bad sports and ruining the game for everyone.
DC = Suicide on Hook in every way except for the penalty and that should be addressed.
Ok? And why should you be bothered by that if you are playing killer?
-
This is a bad idea because this will encourage tunneling more so thats a no
-
@TAG said:

"At least its not dcing"
What's the difference?
Good question. Dcing denies a lot of the killer's points and the rage quitter gets none since he rage quit if someone suicides on hook they dont deny as much bps to the killer meanwhile the survivor gets a fair amount of points
-
@ShamelessPigMain said:
There are behaviors that are annoying and those that are bannable, the latter being ones that cause direct and irreparable harm to the game. I do think that early game suicides should be met with the same thing as DC's, although even that's unfair considering that it doesn't account for glitches and legitimate times when your WiFi says aight imma head out, but it's a start. An all out ban, however, is absolutely ludicrous.
The only thing they should do is deprive 50% of the survivor's bloodpoints if they kill themselves on hook
-
At least its not dcing so let em suicide if they want if im playing killer and a survivor suicide on hook does it bother me? No, not in the slightest. If im playing survivor and someone suicide on hook does it bother me? No, it sure sucks but it is only one down. I escaped with 1 survivor offing himself. But to answer your question suicide on hook shouldn't be bannable.
-
I get less bps and unfun games makes me wanna punch my wall
-
@Yamaoka said:
What kinda question is that?
Why would it be bannable for the killer to go afk when the gates are open?
Cuz i witnessed 5 kilers today who went afk after the gates were open. Again i cant blame the killer i do that too
-
@Woot1234 said:
Yes I've done it on occasion, even earlier once last gen pops.
If I got stomped, I'm frustrated more than usual because of survivor behavior, there's little chance of me downing anyone, and I have a feeling the survivors are just going to drag out EGC, I may AFK and do other things and hope survivors get the memo and quicky leave so we can go onto the next match. I played until the game was effectively over. Lets move on.
If survivors want to make me dc then they wont get it from me
-
@Adjatha said:
If everybody's is max health, the doors have been opened, and they don't have NOED, there basically no reason to even bother. Sometimes, survivors will let you get one parting hit, but most of them just teabag and Dead Hard through the gate. I'd rather not give them the satisfaction, personally.
Yeah i always just escape if the killer doesn't bother trying to get to the gate

I really don't see anyway to abuse Borrowed Time, unless you're talking about survivors making unsafe saves with Borrowed Time because they have Borrowed Time.
If the killer face camp me at end game then a survivor unhooks me with borrowed time. Is it abuse?
-
@Beelzeboop said:
For survivors, Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike, no question.
For killers, pretty much just Insidious.
How is borrowed time abused im curious?

Oh yeah I forgot about object, it’s not really a problem in solo Q though mostly in SWFs. Object + midwhich is pretty busted.
But then I again I play killers who heavily, heavily punish it most of the time. Undetectable killers, Bubba, and the chief one being PP head.
Pyramid head loves him some object users since he can find the cage for free and tunnel them ridiculously hard.
When i see someone with ooo i never and i mean NEVER tunnel him or get him first i always save him for last chasing someone with ooo is a pain in the ass.
-
@SilentPill said:
DS is the main one I can see and it’s gone next patch so who cares.
Maybe bodyblocking with BT but that’s risky for the survivor since you might just wait 15 seconds and tunnel them (I do). So it’s not really abuse.
Unbreakable / Soul Guard potentially if they use that bug where you can’t be picked up if you go down while interacting with an object.
Nothing else is abuse really, it’s just using the perk.
When i think of abused perks object of obsession is the first perk that i think of.

Why does this thing exist? You get out for doing nothing but having good luck. It's so stupid, I played a match right with a blendette who did nothing then hide the round.

@KiwiCoattails said:
I’m not sure how they’ll ever be able to prevent this. If they change the struggle mechanic to be similar to the PH cages people will either go AFK after being unhooked or just DC.
Exactly or just remove the option of leaving the game

It's annoying, but hopefully they got a longer penalty than just 5 minutes or something. People who purposefully DC due to hooks scare me, they are truly fearless 🤪
Its ######### immature and unsporting i hope these guys can get banned
