While I do agree the "event" is poorly executed I feel like this needs to be said: complaining about being given FREE STUFF is a pretty entitled way to think and is really an extremely selfish mind set. Sure they gave more stuff before but they never had to give ANYTHING for free. That being said I am not saying that makes being greedy is okay either just that being upset about only getting one free thing instead of more free things is an extremely childish mind set. You are owed nothing, be grateful for the gift, if you get one at all.

I want the devs to actually take into consideration this thread, so please make sure to keep insults and such to a minimum otherwise the thread will just be wrote off. Express your concerns (in a constructive way) and give people thumbs up on things you agree with is the best way to get their attention.

No one is talking about the Surge buff, it now blows up even on gens that are already regressing. It's still not amazing (it could use a radius buff, maybe 40m?) but it's a lot nicer now all the same.
-
No, this perk is toxic by design and needs a complete rework into something totally different.
-
I don't understand why people posting in this who are disagreeing with me are making things up. I never said the WINDOW was a infinite, I said the TILE was an infinite. The god window by itself is an annoyance, it's the chaining of the THREE god windows that makes it an infinite. Please read the entire thing before you post argument. The TILE is the problem, not the single god window that they adding a pointless breakable wall next to.

It doesn't have 3 windows? and one window is next to opening so it only has one mediocre window with no pallets nearby, look at this from both side perspective??!?
Bruh, please find a different thread to post, you clearly have no flippin idea what you are talking about and it is embarrassing.
-
I don't use infinite in the manor where it just takes a stupidly long time to catch them, I mean you quite literally can NEVER catch them because the window will never be blocked and you will never get bloodlust because it takes that long to catch up, the survivor is FASTER than you at that loop.
-
@FFabeq said:
omg dude there are no pallets inside anymore, so just break the wall and the loop is unsafe af
Do you not know what a god window is? That tile has THREE OF THEM that can be chained together. I don't mean to sound rude but I feel like you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
-
They updated the game, why is anyone surprised more stuff broke? My Oni enters a match without his mask, first time I have seen his face actually.
-
They can't, they are to busy nerfing important and problematic things like PGTW and Discordance.
-
It's a bug dude, they break sounds of every kind after every update. Idk why you are surprised about this. Now how long it stays in the game that is something to be upset at or excited about.
-
They still need to do something about survivors killing themselves on the hook, there is no difference between d/cing and killing yourself, you screw the killer and your team all the same.
-
Monitor + Sloppy + Nurses + Surge is my favorite build on him. I also really enjoy the iri coin, it's hard to use but so fun when you get the sharpshooter proc.
-
This very obvious bait is very poorly done. You can do better, friend.
-
The map is considered by a large majority of the community to be overly survivor biased. No one thinks this map is okay, not even survivor mains. The dev team will hopefully give it a balance readjustment once it gets its graphic overhaul.
-
I agree. Dealing with gen tapping and how slow base regression is would be a great way to give killers more abilities to slow the game down without actually having to increase gen time.
My opinion: tapping a gen no longer stops regression if you let go before you repair at least 3 charges. Base regression increased from 1/4 what a survivor can do to 1/3 and make kicking a gen auto regress it by 1-2%. Adjust perks as required to insure no power creep on things like ruin/pop.
-
It's annoying af when someone d/cs in the lobby and you get a entity displeased notification but the survivors get a wholesome escaped notification
-
They know DS is a problem, why they don't change it is not information I am privi to but they know. Perhaps there is some grand game changing update on the way that will overhaul tons of base mechanics and DS gets changed then, or maybe they think they will lose out of money if it's nerfed, who knows.
-
Bruh have you ever heard of a thing called paragraphs?
-
Lets be real here for just a moment: pretty much everyone is just waiting for Cyberpunk at this point, no one blames you it's like 40days until release. Trust me bro, I understand.
-
If there are a ton of moris it's probably because the stupid amount of keys that have been being played lately. Nearly every single game, I'm not even exaggerating, almost every single match I have played the last few weeks it's been a key in nearly every lobby, sometimes more than one.
-
What an original OP.
-
Nah man it would be totally balanced, no overpowered cancer perk you could use with it that gives unlimited information on the killer with already little to no down side, no sir ree.
-
Very rarely, and if I do get tunneled it is normally closer to the end of the game when the killer is losing and out of options. Tbh it isn't nearly as big of an issue as people on the forums make it out to be. Also I never use crutch perks as a survivor, my personal favorite builds are vault build and a build around autodidact.
-
He has a few add ons that lower his TR when he is aiming down sights, perhaps that is what you encountered.
-
PTB isn't final.
-
The d/c penalty needs to come back, I pretty much just quit the game entirely because someone always quits when every thing doesn't go their way. It a killer you don't like? d/c. You got chased first? d/c. The killer was actually better than you and downed you quickly? d/c. It's ridiculous how pathetic survivors act when there is no punishment for quitting early.
-
Man now that people actually HAVE to do bones they are losing their minds. This is pretty funny, it really shows just how incapable most people are at dealing with the killer when they can't just M1 all game, you actually have to learn how to juke the killer now lol. Tell you what, when survivors stop using DS/BT/UB/etc then you can complain when killers don't stop using ruin/undying...after 3 years, that's when you can gripe about it lololololol
-
Or you know, make it to where the gates regress if left alone for to long, that way people just, oh, I don't know, open the flippin gates?
-
If you are constantly trying to get downs with his dash at loops then you aren't playing him correctly. Oni has everything he needs in his kit to deal with any kind of loop during his power, you just aren't using it correctly. Oni seems simple on the surface but is in fact an extremely high skill cap killer. Try learning how to use his basic insta down strike during Fury and you will find T/L walls and the like are not an issue.
-
They are bias though. Sure they might not want one side to just be stupid OP but they do have a favorite for sure and you can tell based on their actions. I mean just think about the perks that get added into the game, other than undying killers get perks that are almost always a joke while survivors always get at least 1-2 that are extremely powerful in the right situations. Also DS still exists in it's current state.
-
It's no more unfun than typical meta survivor builds.
-
OoO is the only perk in the game that needs a genuine total rework. It provides way to much information no matter the downside.
-

Decisive being an issue is amazing to me in the first place.
Just go after someone else for one (1) minute and it's a non issue.
Spoke like someone who has no idea how this perk can be abused so easily. One DS can extend the game 5+min it has happened more than once, enough with this "just go after someone else 4head!" guess what sometimes you can't, it's not black and white like that dude. Or how about the classic "let me just work on this gen, right next to this locker and jump inside it as soon as the killer comes to apply map pressure."
-
PH if you ask me, Freddy is strong but at the end of the day a M1 killer who can teleport to gens, PH ignores BT, DS and completely shuts down loops ending his chases extremely quickly if you are good with him.

first of all, if it were hit detection problems, she would not scream after getting hit. second, hit validation is to punish a bad ping player, not to benefit him.
I didn't say how it "should" work or the intended effects of it, I just stated how it DOES work.

So what. There are still 3 other survivors trying to enjoy a game too. Don't be selfish and ruin the game for other people.
Killer could still play on and maybe get 3K, who cares if the Kate is invincible and survives.
That is such an unbelievably entitled thing to say, what does this man owe the other players in his match? He owes them nothing, neither his time nor a fun match, absolutely nothing at all. Him leaving that match is what 99% of people would do just like I'm sure YOU have killed yourself on your first hook or d/ced when you find out it's a killer you dislike, or perhaps your teammates aren't as good as you would like, what hypocrite.
-
This isn't a hack it's hit validation and the very reason I knew it was a bad idea. Hit validation basically makes the survivor the hit authority if they are laggy. I noticed this last time they turned that trash on if the survivor had high ping you basically had to ride their a$$ to hit them legit if not they just ran off or sometimes scream like they got hit but nothing actually happened.
-
So the killer wipes out your entire team AND manages to catch, down AND hook you and you STILL think you should have just one more chance to escape? Is this a joke, because if so it's not funny.
-
Probably because that map use to be stupidly survivor biased due to it's layout and having strong loops only added to that problem?
-
Does it give you an advantage outside the normal means during gameplay? If yes then yes it's cheating.
-
It went from laughably the worst perk in the entire game (and let's be real here that takes some doing) to mildly useful in SOME builds. I'd say prettygoodjobsofar.
-
Well I had a game where I did that and the claudette, who let her entire team die (at 4 gens) found the hatch AND closed it on her she literally jumps into the ground, not the hatch the ground it was the dumbest ######### I ever saw.
-
So far they are added in the favor of the survivors instead of the killer. What I mean by this is the devs will make a loop a literal infinite unless the killer breaks said wall, which is foolish and short sighted. The breakable wall should make a mildly safe loop unsafe once broken, because the killer has to invest time into breaking this wall where as the survivor does nothing. The concept is cool but they are currently added in the favor of the WRONG side.
-
Slinger isn't OP or oppressive, he is balanced in the fact he has no map pressure but top tier 1v1. Also PH has a lot more going for him than just his 1v1, slinger has nothing other than his chase. He isn't getting nerfed because he isn't problematic.
-
If you have crossplay turned off then you cannot be matched with people who have it turned on, including those on your platform. You have long ques because you are only playing with other people who also turned off crossplay. Turn it back on and your que times should get much better.

I'll leave now.
If you don't mind, would you be willing to link me that dev post? I would like to read it.

No it is a dev said it and the community backlash of pop is going to get the perk changed.
I would assume it's getting change sometime in the very LATE future, otherwise it would of been listed. DS is a bs perk, it does need to exist but is way to unfair when used aggressively. Sure you might not use it like that but a lot of people do and it's about as fun as a first hook mori tunneled right off the unhook.
-
@azame said:
Since DS is about to get killed. What are some other "needed" survivor nerfs. I'd be interested in knowing so I can prepare for the dark times survivor edition.
What are you rambling on about? DS isn't getting changed.

Or, maybe... they realized 60 seconds for a perk you can use on-demand 11 times in a game may be excessive in a way 60 seconds for a perk you can use once per match is not.
This post reveals one thing about the OP: salt.
Imagine thinking you can use pop 11 times in a match.
