Killer is unfun/brainless/takes no skill = I can't loop this killer for 5 gens
-
Demogorgon seems to be extinct (at least for me)
-
The problem with keys lies in the hatch spawn. Hatch should only appear once all 5 gens are done OR if only 1 survivor is left
-
I might invest into quentin now. For the longest time my go to survivor was Jake (who still looks great), I then switched to leon and now quentin could become my third highly invested survivor
-
The tentacle hitbox is nowhere near huntress' hatchets, it is very unforgiving and inconsistent when it comes to what it can and can't hit over
-
The "silent on the floor" bug has been reported numerous times and has been in the game for quite some time, yet it still exists. Pretty good job so far, huh?

Tunneling is love, tunneling is life

I don't have issues on this map and I know other people who don't have problems on it anymore. If your crashing it would seem that it is something on your end.
That's fair. I am playing on switch so I don't have the recent update, which begs the question why the devs thought that it would be OK to re-enable the map on the platform without the patch

@SkeletalElite I don't recall a single post or itnerview adressing IronWill so we can't say that it's for sure working as intended or not. It just looks like lazy 1/0 coding as it is now.
I have to agree. Sounds are notoriously broken in this game, I mean just look at the "silent on the ground" bug or the fact that footsteps sometimes are just silent for no apparent reason
-
Not gonna lie every single time I got this map my game crashed at the most random times and it doesn't matter whether I play killer or survivor. Until the map is fixed for ALL platforms it should be taken out of the map rotation.
Not related to the topic but the map is garbage anyway so I wouldn't mind never seeing it again
-
But why shouldn't I take the most optimal build? Why should I handicap myself by running inferior perks? To flex? To prove something?
-
So nemesis, the killer that gives survivors free sprint bursts, can have his power denied by his own zombies (who get stuck all the time btw) and has pathetic range with an even more pathetic hitbox on his power, needs to be nerfed because you pre dropping a pallet got you killed?
-
The meme that is hangman's trick shall be in this build
-
Holding the game hostage would imply that the game quite literally can't progress. If a survivor is slugged, they eventually bleed out, which will progress the game, so no, the game is not held hostage by slugging
-
Are you implying deliverance isn't viable?
-
DC for hatch is bs but regarding your first suggestion I kinda have to agree with other comments here that it would change "DC for hatch" to "DC to deny hatch", which is just as stupid and you can bet that some salty survivors would do this to spite their teammates.
Your second idea could be abused to hold the game hostage. If the killer just never leaves the (still closed) hatch there will never be an egc, meaning the survivor will "have" to come and get killed or be stuck in the match for eternity
I would rather have the "husk" system the devs mentioned once, where a dc leaves behind a husk of a survivor that can be picked up and hooked by the killer, so that "technically" the survivor is still in the game
-
How can you say this when trickster exists? He is literally unplayable on console and while I don't have the update yet it seems he just got worse. He is also quite...interesting to play against because he is so lopsided. He either finds you in the open and downs you in 10 seconds or there is a rock you can loop him around for 10 minutes. There is no inbetween
-
I see they finally buffed head on so that the survivor now drops the locker on the killer which kills them instantly
-
Oppression needs those skill checks too
-
Hex deceit; every hex totem looks like a dull totem, the "cursed" notification/status is hidden from survivors (but is still applied for gameplay purposes like soul guard) and if they are within 1/2/3 meters of a hex totem their aura is revealed
-
@GoshJosh said:
Good, maybe it can be permanently disabled this time.
I really hope so because the game consistently crashes within the first minute on this map anyway (at least for me)

Basement is already dangerous though. A trapper or Hag for example can make many basement spots extremely deadly. They're not the only ones though. Hillbilly, Bubba, Huntress and more can have a mean basement game too. Making the basement even more effective for these Killers is wholly unnecessary in my opinion.
Are you in all honesty implying that making MONSTROUS SHRINE, one of the if not the worst perk in the game, basekit would break the balance of the game?
-
Wait you guys don't immediately crash if you interact with basically anything on this map?
-
Kindred, but without killer aura reading so the perk kindred still has a purpose
The bonus bp from we're gonna live forever
Lethal pursuer on one randomly chosen survivor OR corrupt intervention on the gen that is closest to the survivors
The bonus bp from BBQ
-
Before his update he was a d tier at best but with the new changes he has solidified his place as the first t tier killer in the game
-
Demogorgon. I had one match against him/it this month and I can't even remember the last time I faced one before that

Only thing he needs is removing the speed boost from infecting survivors and a slight buff to his mutation rate gain while also nerfing the addons accordingly.
Some addon changes to make them more useful would also be great. It's just kinda sad that he doesn't have any really good addons
the devs said they don't want to remove the speed boost because he would be "tOo OpPrEsSiVE" but what they could do is massively increase the hindered status he inflicts with a tentacle whip if the survivor was not infected before. Right now it is 0.25 seconds (+0.15 seconds if you use licker tongue) which is laughable
-
Any killer that isn't hag is a good killer to go against
-
If a killer is god awful at practically everything (applying pressure, chasing, defending gens, etc.) there is a 90% chance they use noed, which is why I go totem hunting when I see a killer like that. You just immediately know they require instadowns and haste to accomplish anything
Edit: very rarely you run into a memeing killer with a full endgame build, which is an entirely different story
-
Well at least you guys got a patch... *cries in switch*
-
Leon's voice is the second best voice acting in this game (1st place goes to Claire)
-
Hag is the definition of boring for me. Oh someone got hooked? Better take 10 years to crouch to that hook. So you unhooked someone? Would be a shame if hag is already coming back. You want to run? Nope there are at least two traps around the hook. You are being chased? Guess what every loop in a 40m radius is already trapped, you can't do anything. And now YOU are hooked. Fun, right?
Her counter is a swf with at least one flashlight but as a solo you are done

I wholeheartedly disagree. I love Badham and Hawkins.
Edit: I know nobody considers Springwood a 'licensed map' in full, but I do, so :D
Oh yeah badham exists too I guess. Why do we need 5 version of that map? I never understood that
-
They said that moris and keys will be incorporated into "normal" gameplay (whatever this means)
MOST (but not all) windows can be mindgamed. Alternatively you could just pick a killer that can throw something at survivors and you will see that windows become your best friends (huntress, deathslinger, pyramid head, nemesis, etc.)
-
The only ones I disagree with are hawkin's and midwich. Both of these maps are not nearly as bad as the other licensed maps and I am quite fond of them to be honest. I'd take them over coldwind farm any day, both as killer and survivor
-
Nemesis is also punished for using his power correctly (free sprint burst) and so is Victor with his 5 second stun for a down and a 3 second stun for a miss, it should be the other way around
-
I said it the day he was released and I'll say it again: The trickster is a practical joke from the devs and the way they handled this "buff" is solid evidence for this claim
-
These madlads finally did it. They created a killer that is a chore for BOTH sides. People said it could not be done but they were proven wrong today
-
She is the word annoying shaped into a killer. I am glad that not many people play her tbh
-
He is now suffering from trapper syndrome, you need the extra knife add ons to make him useful. A tragedy that he has to join trapper and ghostface in the "I am nothing without my add ons" club
-
My game crashed all 4 times I got this map. Pretty good job so far wouldn't you say?
-
The only logical explanation is that lag spelled backwards is gal and some girls might get offended if they are called a gal so lag had to be censored
-
Tinkerer is not nearly as op as some people claim
Nemesis is weak; no, he is not b tier he is c tier at best and needs buffs
Totem hunting is fun and not hard at all
4 man swf is borderline cheating
Camping and tunneling are valid tactics that work because survivors do stupid stuff
Gen rushing is a valid tactic that works because the killer does stupid stuff
Stealth is a valid alternative to looping if done correctly
-
10k bp? No, that's way too generous. I expect maybe 500 bp if we are lucky. The 5 rift fragments is a pretty accurate assumption though.
-
Their AI appeared much more competent in the ptb. They were consistently able to detect survivors and they also more likely to hit them. I don't understand what they did to the AI but it is much worse now, the getting stuck issue also wasn't as prevalent in the ptb.
-
Everyone looks like a model compared to hillbilly
-
Looks cool but that is literally the only positive thing I can say about this abomination
-
Just had a trial there. Didn't see the killer the whole game and it crashed while I was wandering around looking for a gen. So I'd say they did a pretty good job so far
-
Can't wait for 500 bp and 10 rift fragments as compensation when it will launch a month later
-
Charlotte should have to crush victor or she suffers from incapacitated
Nemesis' zombies should attack him
